I could get some s9j for 350+ shipping but I suspect they are false s9's.
Now I am in usa shipping is a killer and with trump tax I can only buy 2 units at a time.

Update January 31, 2021: General sales of the Linzhi Phoenix Ethash miner have not started and will not start for several weeks at least. All sites and groups claiming to sell or accept preorders for upcoming retail units are fraudulent.
Today I received a late, but very nice xmas surprise from linzhi for testing purpose. Will update here after I have done some testing, waiting for DAG generation at the the moment. Looking really good. Would you believe some idiots misguided fools were actually talking about a bear market?  I don’t believe in censorship but I so wanted to lock the bears up and simply not let them post bear threads. I know bear can happen but a two, three, four ,year bull run is so much more desirable why talk bear? We are 71 days into 2021 and every day of this year is better than any day from any other year. The only year this has ever happened is 2009 since 2008 price was 0. Talking bear 🐻 is off the track that is unfolding for BTC in 2021. Every day I simply hope for sides ways with a slight up swing price move. |

Define slightly over priced. 10%, 20% over MSRP or 2x over MSRP? Because unless you have some connections or willing to spend a lot of time hunting them down on websites/boards most usable gpu's are running crazy 2x or higher msrp. I would pay 1165 for 3080 and take may delivery I would pay 920 for 3070 and take may delivery I can get both deals above. I can also do Newegg Shuffle which sometimes hits. I would not pay 2000 for a 3080 and instant ship I would not pay 1300 for a 3070 and instant ship |

for me, it is simple - I know they are going for over 2k on eBay and other market places, but that is simply because people scooped them all up simply to mine a few weeks while doubling/tripling the price and reselling them.
End of the day it is a 700-1000 card (depending on version) and not really worth the aftermarket price being assigned to them.
Hell, I stood in line the day they were released only to get in the store to see that the store employees had bought the entire inventory so the store was out of stock immediately upon release date. One employee even followed me out to the parking lot and tried to sell me one for double the price.
It does not help that manufacturers always shorth the supply. But it really wouldn't matter, no matter how many they produce someone will always try to scoop all them up and resell them.
There are people with hundreds of these cards for sale.

No worries They pull in 9 bucks a day. for me its a game. to see if they should or should one be pruchased at these prices. Eth back on the rise it was >>>> 2041 on feb 19 it dropped to 1292 on feb. 28 it is up to > 1746 on mar 8th ultimately my choice to offer these 2 at 2100 vs 2900 and still not sell either shows me the buyers here will be smart or stupid. For that matter if the buyers buy them I will still track to see if they were smart or stupid. It also shows lack of fomo on Bitcointalk as this is the second card deal I offered with out takers. the other was an xfx 5700 xt for 600 iirc Back in January while I did not track earnings on it. I have mined it for 56 days since no-one had interest of that card at a 200 dollar discount on ebay prices. In the case of all these cards. I can just mine them and make money while I get to test the forums fomo. |

A 1080ti = 42-45mh
a 3080. = 92-95mh if you hit a fan at this it can do 97
so 134mh and about 500 watts at the wall at worst
say 6 or 7 kwatts a day at 20 cents. = $1.40

And a 20 cent miner would be 44.53 in their pocket.

(just kidding) Honestly I have no idea if it is smart to have purchased them at 2100 to 2500 cost. |

S9j both were good.
most s9 were good a few bad batches say 4-9 had issues.
S9k = terrible.
I assume it is used and if the seller was honest it should be good.

Thanks Phil. I actually have those blankets from my recent move. I have one rig in an empty bedroom but it has Vega's in it which are really loud. I have another rig and some of sidehack's r606 in the garage that I am going to need to move as its starting to get too warm in there for them. Going to try and devise something to quiet both of the mining rigs. Okay then get a few fire blankets do rigs >> fire blankets >> moving blanket a tent or a curtain setup will help Fireblankets arriving tueesday. I'll post pics on the experiment. I have done lots of rigs in the garage and got decent results for under 100 bucks worth of Fire + Moving blankets. |

Well first off take evga cards. I mention them because they are Warranty transferable. If I were to offer you used but under full warranty 2x 3090 and 4x 3080 evga cards along with 2 mobos and psus for 10k it would be considered a cheap price. What does that gear do in hashrate? about 103+103+91+91+91 = 480 mh what does 480mh earn it earns 9.02 cents an mh or $43 a day excluding power cost what do they cost to run about 37 kwatts a day at 10 cents 3.70 at 20 cents 7.40 so 35-39 a day for gently used gear with long warranties 35 x 300 = 10500 so a possible break even for 10 months.
