10741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] | Bitcoin Red (BTCRED) | Trading on YoBit/Etherdelta on: December 04, 2017, 07:30:53 AM
My good buddy got in on the airdrop and he's holding his coins tight. And it seems a lot involved in Bitcoin Red feel this way which is great for building value and a good base for a crypto community to make sure this coin gets some use platforms using it.

So why are you the one posting here, and not your good buddy then? I bet you've got a few hundred good buddies joining all these airdrops and more. Oh sure, having many multi accounts holding and "getting involved" is a great way for building value.

You can't kill grandpa Bitcoin, at least not with this kind of altcoin whose advantages over Bitcoin are supposed to be... faster txs, cheaper fees and snappy marketing. This alt doesn't appeal to the younger generation, it appeals to bounty hunters just like you.
10742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC/USD on: December 03, 2017, 07:00:33 PM
Litecoin's immediate future in 2019 will be determined by how it manages this final month amidst Bitcoin's ATH and the strong movements by the other Top 5. My personal feeling is that it will break not just $95 but above $100, but the real test can only come when other alts start their cyclical decline. If Litecoin can somehow buck that trend and tread water above $100, then we'll know its underlying strength.

Daily charts are next to useless here, in my opinion. Volatility simply strips any meaning from TA at this short period.
10743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKitties - Ethereum's first blockchain game on: December 03, 2017, 04:25:33 PM
I will be so much happy if this project can turn out for a greater good.

Just coming back with an update, Cryptokitties has actually turned out to be a success. There are already so many users playing and the dev team already made a TON of money. The cats they sell every 15 minutes automatically get sold, and the founder cats for fund raising are slowly being sold as well.

If the cryptokitty team is reading this, CONGRATULATIONS. Good job on making the first blockchain game.

Wow, yes, what a phenomenon it has become. To be honest, the gaming scene with crypto has been needing a huge facelift, after the dice game innovation, it has become somewhat stale so I think we all owe cryptokitties a long overdue congratulations.

Actually, this wasn't the first cat themed crypto project around, I even recall Pussycoin being launched a few weeks back. But you never know how a good game can take off. Great concept, addictive, I think this project deserves a lot of applause. Well done from a Cryptokitty player Wink
10744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash — currency of the future? on: December 03, 2017, 03:17:37 PM
Dash is showing good growth compared to many other altcoins that are highly recommended by users and market analysts. What we invest on dash gives promised growth and now lot of users could have been feeling bad of missing the chance of investing into dash at lower price.

Those are most likely users that listened to trolls like cryptohunter, without doing their own homework about Dash.

Well, I actually got into Dash when it was a quarter of today's price, unfortunately at a very small amount... because I did my own homework and felt that there was a lot of truth to what some people were saying about it. And no am not even talking about the scam accusations, merely some of the criticisms of when their Masternode implementations ran into some trouble. Had I listened to a few others pushing me, I'd have gone for owning an entire Dash coin, if not more. I guess sometimes with crypto it is about luck. And where your research leads you to!
10745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Over 3000$ on: December 03, 2017, 02:59:44 PM
I foresee Bitcoin Cash making more moves upwards, possibly breaking $2,000, but it will depend on two major factors. The first is whether Bitcoin itself will grow stronger or weaker. If weaker, BCH may stand a chance. If stronger, then Bitcoin Cash has to rely on either its supporters investing even more money to push up its price, or supporters moving to change from Bitcoin use to BCH.

The latter is a very far off scenario, given I still didn't see any BCH merchants even after hitting a stable $1600.
10746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 20k-40k by end of the month. FORECAST on: December 02, 2017, 04:16:58 PM
Well, even when John McAfee said it would be at $5,000 by the end of this year, it has now become $11k, so I suppose even those who predicted the grand total of $10,000 by 2017 will now think, hey maybe even $20,000 is possible.

But today, the big news of Bitcoin futures pushed it past $11k, only to stop short of the ATH. I really can't see another big news in the next four weeks that can do even better. Let's all be happy with 11-12k for New Year's Eve!
10747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin UP BitCoinCash DOWN on: December 02, 2017, 03:00:29 PM
WHomever thought the Bitcoin Cashening was going to happen (okay that's not really a word but I don't know the Bitcoin Cash equivalent of Ethereum's flippening) is sorely mistaken. Everyone in that camp was going bonkers when Bitcoin Cash hit 1.5k but guess what happened next? Bitcoin broke 10k and is now 11k, and can go even higher.

Bitcoin Cash is way overvalued at 1.5k. So much politics and money pumped into it and they can barely make 15% of Bitcoin value. They must be so sore and angry right now.
10748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League Betting Pool v2.0 | Current pot: £180 on: December 02, 2017, 02:26:49 PM
I think I recall seeing this thread before, perhaps much earlier on V1. I see much more than 5 players already signing up, so I guess we can safely say that this is a confirmed thing. Please put me down for entry. Thank you! I am not a huge follower of the games, but I play fantasy leagues with my office mates also on a similar system where we all pay an entry. Not very sure how the system you use will look like but I think I can manage. Can I just ask what is the split of the 5 top players?
10749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Really slow support from Poloniex ? on: December 02, 2017, 12:44:53 PM
Hello has anybody soon their ticket reply? I have since 4 days one and i have opened 6-7 at once to pay there attention .About 20 retweets on twitter, i typed now on Mike-Poloniex at reddit.Even at their business enquiry form ..... Cheesy .So what are my chances to get reply in the next decate ? Anybody with same issue as me  Huh Roll Eyes

Haha, good luck with that! Don't mean to say it in a bad way at all, but all these big exchanges have a really bad reputation for support, especially for the minnows like I'm pretty sure you are.

The key is to keep trying, but always be polite, and don't spam/flood. Just a polite reminder every few days on all channels. Eventually, that will work. But don't be annoying or rude, remember these are also people and they will rather help a polite customer than an annoying brat.

Keep your ticket to one number also, don't keep opening new ones.
10750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 【Yobit.NET】The withdrawal is not completed on: December 02, 2017, 09:20:28 AM
What was the crypto that you requested? They have problems with a lot of coins, but I know they usually process the "big coins" quite quickly, in my experience, for BTC, ETH and LTC. Do you have a balance of at least 100,000 satoshi? If so, you can chat in the chatroom, wait for a moderator to appear and try ask directly. They usually respond quite quickly there.

I know they have problems with some wallets, but that is the same problem with all the exchanges and these small coins.
10751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't I transfer BTG between exchanges right now? on: December 01, 2017, 09:24:32 PM
I think at the time of your post, BTG itself was still facing network problems, with multiple pools arguing over the correct chains. But as of several days ago, I was freely able to transfer BTG between exchanges and even sites. Most of the BTG exchanges were trading futures, just so you know, meaning they credited BTG to you if you had BTC, but they didn't actually have working wallets (blame the BTG devs for that).

The other way out: sell your BTG for BTC, and transfer that out Wink
10752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️❄️[ANN][BOUNTIES] 🚀 TRIDENT GROUP 🚀 - 25 Days of Christmas - FORM LIVE ❄️⚡️ on: December 01, 2017, 05:31:21 PM
Who says life and crypto aren't fun anymore, yeah? One of the most innovative new projects I've seen in a while, in terms of promotion anyway! I wonder if any other has ever used this 25 Days of Christmas theme? Good luck to you guys, I'll follow out of curiosity... but can't participate in the bounty. Telegram and Twitter are out for me. I hate Telegram spam and I don't have Twitter. I know, right? I really need to get up with the times. But Crypto is fine for me.

P.S. I actually know the answer to the riddle... that guy screams a lot throughout the movie!
10753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite privacy focused alts? on: December 01, 2017, 04:10:03 PM
Monero is always my choice, and I believe it continues to be profitable to mine even with GPUs. After all, isn't that what all them naughty sites are using now to mine using their users' browsers? Monero?

Anyway, I have Stratis but never heard of Breeze wallet to anonymize Bitcoin use. Definitely going to look that up. Been waiting for a good, stable wallet to test the shit out of this wallet tumbling. I do know tumbling doesn't actually do much to anonymize anything though, so maybe the poster is slightly mistaken.
10754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is draining the altcoins on: December 01, 2017, 02:59:03 PM
Can't say really, it makes sense at first, but then if people really are selling off their alts for Bitcoin, wouldn't Bitcoin just be getting stronger? Now every crypto in general is in decline, so I think there's just a moment of equilibrium here. My guess is that sell offs combined with people rushing in for good value altbuys is together pushing Bitcoin back down from its ATH. No worries though, if you're an alt holder, this time shall pass. Just hold, buy in where and when comfortable, and keep the eyes on the ball.
10755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price in future on: December 01, 2017, 12:33:51 PM
I guess people are so surprised to learn the price of crypto is so unsteady now. You see it at $440 in the news, by the time you open your mobile phone at home to post on this forum it has jumped or fallen 15% and you never knew. Which is why these types of threads are so futile in the end. Will it reach 1k in Jan? Why not 5k? Why not 10k? John McAfee will eat his dick if Bitcoin isn't 1 million in 2020, so why not, right?

And agree about PoS, it should happen now if the price will pump because of it. But it hasn't... not more than any other crypto anyway.
10756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy IOTA with € or $ on: December 01, 2017, 10:08:35 AM
It's easy to see for any crypto, the markets available. Just go to coinmarketcap, search for your currency, in this case it's https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iota/

Then you click the Market tab and it will show all available markets you can sign up at and trade. If it's not listed there, then there's no useful volume to track, so you would be wasting your time anyway.

Anyway for IOTA I can only see MIOTA/USD at Bitfinex and Exrates.  you can use Tether at OKEx.
10757  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN! CSNO TOKENS ADDED! 🎰🎰🎰 on: December 01, 2017, 08:02:45 AM
Just for your information, there is a new dice site called by xdice.io but it is using the name of bitdice on their main page. The font is indeed different but the name is exactly the same. Look at below screen-shots:

I have asked them to edit it on their ANN thread. I dont know if it will be a big problem or not, just wanna share it with you as the original bitdice.

Thanks for the info. I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want to buy a nice domain name (xdice is pretty all right), and then steal a competitor's image and blatantly put it up there for everyone to see. Anyone with any clue of the crypto gambling industry knows BitDice and that kind of plagiarism isn't going to do their reputation any good. And we all know what reputation means in this industry.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, though, so good on BitDice.
10758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves or Stratis for short term gains? on: November 30, 2017, 05:33:54 PM
Both Stratis and Waves have got some interesting events coming up. What one do you think will do better in December?
I think that the stratis will have a better performed rather than waves. as the stratis the more superior right now. But looks all of the altcoin is very stable right now while at the same time the only coin that has got so many bullish trend was ethereum and bitcoin only.

I like both coins, and see almost similar value in both as platforms with a lot of potential, but based on past history I'm inclined to agree that Stratis has better short-term value, if you like trading on the swings as what has been happening these past two or three days! Superiority matters little at this point, as both have yet to become full-fledged solutions.

Better advice is to simply stay out of alts now while Bitcoin is extra erratic. Or, risk USDT and then you can ignore Bitcoin a little.

10759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 altcoins to buy right now before is too late on: November 30, 2017, 05:03:14 PM
I guess whomever bought alts yesterday is busy booking in profits now. Bitcoin jumps to past 11k, and every whale fills his bags, Bitcoin drops to 9k as they cash out fast, fast profits, Bitcoin moves back past 10k, and a few hours later it's right back down to threaten 9,000 floors.

I wish I had all those bags of crypto to play and move the market. Makes me so angry I'm a mere bystander. Can't even get a regular estimate anymore on what I am spending with the prices shoving me left and right!
10760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Utrust speculation on: November 30, 2017, 01:59:11 PM
at the time of utrust entering the exchanger, I am sure there will be big dumper. it's commonplace and always happen.
if utrust goes according to the roadmap, i'm sure the price will rise 1-3 from the ico price.
we'll see and let the market will answer it later.

Sorry to say, but you know you're right. This is pretty common with all ICOs anyway, but particularly this will hit Utrust VERY hard I feel, because of the changes that happened right after the ICO. I'm not even talking about the KYC/AML - every ICO is going to have to do that in future, and Utrust is just going to be one of many.

But the way they structured pricing and tokens, making it cheaper for people to buy after ICO ended, this made a LOT of people very unhappy. They're going to dump because some couldn't be placated.

Anyway, I stopped following updates, maybe the pressure worked and devs reverted, I'm not really keen to find out.
