1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: May 02, 2024, 11:48:29 AM
I am happy to finally see people posting good about this. You are also right. But did you know that 80% of traders are losing? I have read more than 10 researches that make me make that conclusion. The results in those researches are similar. That most traders are losing. The result of trading is much more like the results of the researches on gambling.

Same here. Salaried job is not the same as self employment, and trading... as I pointed out above posts, a lot of people trade without the same discipline or investment as a job, so I don't really consider them the same. I was trading years and never said it was my job so I think anyone who's offended by it needs to look in the mirror.

And good point you brought up about 80%. I talk about it ALL the time. It's not a fixed number but for sure 80% is not a far estimate and this is from NORMAL trading (forex, stocks etc).

I bet you crypto traders are even worse as most of them are gambling on shitcoins and scams you would see very less of in stocks/forex.

Small bets, win something. I got tired of losing big ones and wanted to win at least the EPL Jackpot fee for a couple more rounds, so did this and hit it. It's nice right to see everything hit by big scores?
I like this idea as you are losing and having no enough sources to do things as you want, then go down and done stuff which give you some confidence because this brings good success and also small amount which can change things for you without any problem. Sometime back I also try with this way and have good success, but recently I have issues with site so not able to play any stuff hopefully this will be fixed soonl.

It's not so much about confidence for me, I'll always be confident of hitting 20x lol

But yes, still very nice to win a freebet, and win just enough to enter 2 more Jackpots, so I can spend my actual balance on other losing bets Wink

What's your site issues? Did you ask support?

Is anyone else having any issues with Sportsbet website right now?
Opening pages is working very slow for me today, and some options are not available anymore.
I tried using different browser to try and confirm if that is the problem but I could not log in.
I didnt see any maintenance work announced.

Same happened for a few days last week, couldn't place bets, very slow, and then 2 days ago I had issues with balance so I wrote to support and as they were asking for screenshots suddenly everything was fixed. Balance correct. Speed fast.

Tell support, maybe they 'reset' account and everything is fast Smiley

In tennis, pace is an added advantage, and as you get older, you gradually lose that ability, and then twist and ankle issues begin to eat you up, making it difficult to compete against younger players with good pace. Nadal has won everything there is to win, and I'm shocked to see him still battling against kids who were watching him a few years ago and losing to them. Lol

Football and tennis are no different; age is a significant factor in both sports because they involve a lot of movement.

Tennis questions is shoot and hope- there's always withdrawal shit and all kinds of disappointment.

I read about Nadal saving his hip serve for end of year. Just serving from pure back and arm strength. I don't even really know what it means but I think if your body is screaming pain, you already replaced part of hips etc. You should listen to it and retire, or coach.

Same in football, and apparently even worse because football is sudden movement, sudden acceleration and multiple points of contact with force. Long term head injury etc

Americans say their football is tougher but studies show that the crazy athletics of football and contact result in higher injuries and more damaging long term.

Anyway tennis. Bullshit to wait til last minute and get both knocked out anyway lol

I can confirm if you don't use 2FA you won't get a confirmation email, your withdraw gets right into the line and you wait. Usually around 15 minutes or faster if you choose instant like I always do.

And if you think this makes it easier to hack, bear in mind that my account had an unauthorized withdrawal several years ago WITHOUT 2FA, and WITHOUT email confirmation.

I use different password on email, and I saw it was never accessed, never got the email, so I never clicked confirm.

So trust me you want to use 2FA.

Also can all you guys please stop quoting the whole chat when you quote? Especially Stake guys you should know better Tongue

Man should have retired while still clapping hard; I've always like it when people leave it at the clapping stage rather than waiting until they've lost everything before retiring. Tiger Woods, Alonso, and Hamilton were all monarchs, with the world at their feet. There is nothing else to watch about them now. They don't even interest me anymore...

Submitted answers - a must win round for me.

Maybe for him it's not about clapping anymore but doing one big tournament as his last. He already said these are all about getting fit for end of the year, so I think he even went further than he thought like with De Minaur.

Football is different. If you're old and you cause your team to lose, you kinda share some of the blame Tongue

And also money Cheesy
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: May 01, 2024, 10:34:27 AM
many never get the grasp of being self employed and finding money for ourselves, the judgemental nature of people is what make such prejudice to appear in the society thinking that a trader isn't even a job meanwhile a trader could very well be 100x richer that the ones who judged.

On the other hand traders and all hustlers shouldn't be offended.

Real trading takes a kind of discipline and determination like any job should. The traders I knew, myself included, we were surfing and listening and meme watching. We weren't really spending a lot of time studying or discussing as some do.

Judge ourselves first, properly, and then others judgment isn't so bad Wink

Two silly mistakes from Bayern, but also 4 minutes of lapse of concentration from Real. It's like the classic super favorites of Champions League showing everybody how to play football.

It was fun even watching replay, actually Wink

Congrats @notblox1 for being the only one to predict 2-2 draw!!
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: April 30, 2024, 10:51:18 AM
Our country can relate here, Binance which is the most popular exchange around the world and it has the biggest volume and it is being attacked by our government also. Right now, we really have a big issue between Binance and our country, because the country is telling us not to use Binance and they are banning it but Binance is not aware of or acknowledging it, so we, users will have some confusion.

So right now, selecting good exchange must be suit with you, always check regulations in your country and always read terms and conditions of the exhcange.

All CEX will get attacked if they don't comply, it's as simple as that. Binance will be regulated and I think are already getting licenses in the last few places they're not chased out of. For example exited UK but now back in.

Don't get me wrong not supporting Binance I always said I dislike them but it's still a better fit to ask people to use it as a first exchange rather than Coinbase. Binance never held people's funds YET, while others already did.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: April 30, 2024, 09:20:06 AM
Thanks man for the answer, no its worst this time, it was for two games from saturday  Grin i normally put the picks in the morning of friday but this time i was far from home so i charge the picks from the app, and i said to myself well when i come back i complete the rest of the round with a little more carefull research, and the time goes i sleep outside my home that night and i forget completly about the picks.

Don't worry it happens to all of us. If you believe me I already used up all my default picks, and it was a bad week where favorites all won so it was high scoring for everyone and just shit points for me.

I always think like you also, better to come back and research, especially since this is MY league supposedly lol

Yeah, Xavi really does need to find a way around limiting Lewandowski and give the future of the club players a better chance to develop, most of the forward players not getting the best of chances are beginning to lose their touches and self confidence in my opinion. I expected at Victor Roque to be a solid started as the future spearhead of the attack, but he's barely get 15 minutes playing every 4-5 game weeks, and where the h**l was Lewandowski when sh** was going side ways not just in the El Clasico, but in the 2nd Leg of the champions league against PSG, he went MIA despite being on the pitch all night long. A transition of era should be a transition of era, I don't see any era transition, if we've moved from Messilona or Lewanlona FC  Lips sealed

Xavi has announced his stay beyond this season, let's see what he'd do with the likes of Romeu, Gundogan, Lewy and Inigo Martinez, if they could have let go of Busquets and Alba, I then don't understand what they're doing with former lists.

Yeeeess we need to move away from one guy Barca. I really put high hopes in our youngsters but they were overplayed, even for Spain, we need Lewandowski to still play a role but never again must we rely on one guy. I don't know what Xavi will do, but he needs to really just play chess, focus on rebuild, and not make every young guy so broken!

I don't understand also it's not nice also that we don't have young dynasties, I always thought Ansu Fati was our longterm plan, for example. These guys would give everything all the time not like Lewa who played half this season as a zombie.

Nice win @rdbase! I saw your message Smiley

I joined that one and also got my freebet back but lost it already hehe

And will be joining a couple more to see how good/shit I am before deciding again. At the moment, I'm spending all my sig camp earnings and losing, so it's quite frustrating, but I have some other freebets from pools I'm using.

I allready lost one last night but at least my club and Leicester won so I'll make a 'short' win if this one hits. Should be enough for another 2 jackpot fees Tongue

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Korean won tops US dollar and leads in crypto trading volume for Q1 on: April 30, 2024, 07:03:56 AM
I think that will happen more and more tho. I mean, the first adopters will buy with fiat, but after that, maybe they keep trading in crypto-crypto, or even other currencies. I know a lot of Indonesians and Filipinos now stop using rupiah or peso, which by the way are hitting ATH vs USD, they prefer to exchange to SGD, which is also ATH vs all other regional fiat currencies.

So I would pay less attention in some places to fiat denomination, at least give it less meaning Smiley

Still it's a nice find. Poor Korea, they have done many things and we remember them of Kpop lol
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: April 29, 2024, 12:44:07 PM
90% of us are not built to understand how to trade bulls and bears. It's a fact, we just have to accept it.
I think it is only possible if you buy early when price is still very cheap.

This is the mistake people in bitcoin made since 2012. They thought it was only possible to buy early when price is "cheap".

$10 was cheap at the time. When I got in, $1000 was cheap. Then after the 2017 bullrun, $4000 was cheap. Then in this recent one, $20000 was cheap.

Trust me in next cycle people will see $60000 as cheap.

And THAT is why I say DCA is the best, no trader knows for sure when the cheap price comes, they can guess, they can get it right sometimes. And usually only need to get it wrong a few times to bust.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: April 29, 2024, 12:12:47 PM
I don't know why so many people say Coinbase, you know it only serves probably the most limited of all exchanges? That means more than half of this forum can't even use them.

If Binance is available at your place then, it’s the perfect place to trade. It has good user interface and the almost all the coins are listed here. 9 out of 10 customers use Binance and it’s very famous for its quick user interface.

Binance is almost available everywhere until recently and IMO still the one that majority can access.

Always hated Binance but can't deny it's the most useful for newbies in most countries. Don't know about 9 out of 10 but it's the biggest exchange for a reason.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 29, 2024, 11:39:24 AM
Honestly, I would accept anything that doesn't cost me a lot of fees etc.

USDT? Sure of course. Just send my salary to an exchange, immediately exchange for BTC and withdraw to my wallet.

Bitcoin first of course. I don't even care people say high fees it's nothing compared to bank/paypal.

Too bad I lost. Stupid Juventus, and why did they decide to play such a clean game?

Hhampuz vs Buywatress for the next round is probably the game of the round imo, can we get some Sportsbet specials on that match ? Grin

I'd like to bet on Hhampuz against a rusty Buwaytress team  Grin Grin

Yo agree here, this needs a Sportsbet special Wink

Hhampuz beat one top guy already, and he did super good in last season cup IIRC

Or maybe, feature in next round of BSFL  Who will progress Yes No Yes No style lol.
