I suppose it's bitcointalk policy not to speak ill of BFL, a company with $10M in btc community monies that haven't shipped an ASIC yet.
Plenty of mine get deleted as well - none of them were on topic. I assume the same goes for yours. I have the opposite problem. Somebody's been adding posts to my profile. I've always been a believer in BFL and now these pics by Kano prove it. Now, I have to go and manually delete all the posts in my account that were of a negative nature toward them. Seriously, if BFL/Josh would have provided such types of picks on a regular basis and were more opened as the process continued, I believe a lot of the naysaying and trolling would never have occurred. The added bonus would have been that no money would have had to be doled out to bring a person from the other side, and down under, the globe to take pictures that Jody, or anybody else, could have. I read somewhere that IV users were all briefly surprised to discover that Slava reacts with hemoglobin in blood to produce a hard, cement-like substance. Something about iron-catalyzed cross-linking chemistry, IIRC.

Any guesses how I chose those 3 bitcointalk.org profiles..?  Registration date and using 2 spaces after a period. yes, registration date, and user profile ids. Checked couple of hundreds of profiles that were opened after December 2010, hero / senior member, posts and post contents.. Yeah! No need to check any profiles prior to Dec2010, for Satoshi wasn't smart enough to do that if he/they/she/it knew beforehand that he was going into self-exile. You probably could scratch off that Utah guy, for I can't envision a coder with six wives. My money's on PW. We're very close to adding much improved Tor support to Bitcoin, so it will most likely be in 0.7.0. Among other things: - Support for running as and connecting to Bitcoin hidden services

Each time I hear news about the education in this country, I die a little, knowing I just came out of it not long ago  But it's a total travesty. It's like it's so mangled up, it can't be called education anymore, but plain old indoctrination, and any child who disagrees is drugged up and then indoctrinated. So FUBAR that it can't be touched, because no sane person would agree that this is the kind of education we'd like our kids to have. And to top it all off, you can't opt-out. I once tried, but the only kind of home-schooling my parents could find and afford was of the Christian sort. They tried to tell me I couldn't read Harry Potter because "witchcraft is a product of Satan"  Yet, forget to mention that Satan is a product of God. Jesus's brother, if I'm not mistaken. Need to dust off one of Mark Twain's book to make sure. |

But not only that album, but all by the Beatles, for who's to say that Yellow Submarine wouldn't spark Abbey Road, then in turn killing school children and teachers. Far-fetched? Explain it to the parents who just had their kindergarten child expelled because she improvised a gun with her fingers. Or a boy overheard saying, "Bang! Bang!" as he's reading a Batman comic book. But it's okay for the administration to call parents once a week to make sure their child is taking their medication prescribed by a psychologist which is illegal here in Illinois, yet somehow they get away with it. I'm also curious as to hear your opinions on the following (in yellow): We just announced our list of panelists, speakers, and topics for Bitcoin 2013. You can check it out on the conference website: www.bitcoin2013.com Register before March 15 to get early bird pricing - we hope to see you there! Since Gavin is at the top and I'm at the bottom I assumed at first that the list was in order of importance, then I realized that it was alphabetical by last name And you wouldn't be the last on the list if MNW were to present, but I guess we don't see that happening. He was originally on the London conference list, but that didn't materialize. What I really came here for was to post a friendly bump and link the panelists page above. Also, to see if there's an interest for those attending the conference to hear me present how Bitcoin can improve philanthropic efforts through an enhanced entity currently known as Bitcoin 100.
There's no argument to when Bitcoin breaks-out, NPOs and NGOs, alike, will slowly start embedding Bitcoin donation buttons unto their respective websites, with entities such as BitPay acting as the liaison to convert bitcoins to their local currency prior to depositing the funds into their bank accounts. Even when Bitcoin becomes mainstream, I believe a Bitcoin-100-type entity still needs to be in place to facilitate the process, coupled with acting as a liaison of sorts to address any and all concerns that would most certainly arise. And be self-funded, not needing to solicit further donations from bitcoiners or elsewhere.
If you feel that what I've outlined above on how I believe I can accomplish such a feat, and would like to learn more while attending Bitcoin2013, please let me know by posting here. I would love to give such a presentation, as well as sit on some appropriate panel.
Having been on stage probably over a couple hundred times during my entertaining years in Nashville, I'm pretty sure I still remember how to hold a microphone, assuming microphones are to be used opposed to one being audio-assimilated like a Borg.
I look forward to your replies, with apologies for posting such a request in this thread. I believe Bitcoin2013 will turn out to be an exceptional event. Now, only if we can can get one more female on the panelist list, otherwise Rainey will be forced to go to the lady's room alone.
