1081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin get to drop to $5,000 and below in 2018 on: February 02, 2018, 10:26:30 PM
8,200 dollars is the price of the bitcoin today, what is the assurance that bitcoin will not drop below 5,000 dollars?
The only assurance i have is bitcoin will always win.
There is not an assurance that is the thing, bitcoin is an speculative asset and right now its price is decreasing that is why many people are selling their bitcoin, however bitcoin is still the same as always nothing has changed so a natural conclusion is that if bitcoin reached huge prices in the past the most likely option is that it will do it again.
1082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought pumping coins? on: February 02, 2018, 10:23:10 PM
I entered Crypto market for 2 months and usually see the term "pump and dump", and some P&D groups. But i wonder they pump by selling and buying themself, so when price go up, who will buy it for them and they sell that for who???
With Blue-chip coins, someone could buy when it've pumped already because of good news. So with trash coins, who'll buy this pumped coin and why many PP&D group still live until now Cheesy

Newbies who have an overwhelming sense of FOMO. They see something that's gone up 100% in a day and think it will continue for ever so they hop on in and then they complain when they lose out.
This happens all the time, newbies are too excited when they enter the market and think they can make a fortune in just a few days when most of the persons that got a lot of money have been in the market for years, then when you try to give them and advice telling them it is not easy they always tell you a story of someone they know that invested in some coin and became rich very rapidly, so when that happens I just let them do as they please, they are going to regret it sooner or later.
1083  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Can I prevent some people from withdrawing money from my account but allow them on: February 02, 2018, 10:19:15 PM
I created account at binance.com

The idea is I put .1 to .5 btc there. The account will be given to apprentices.

They can trade.

They cannot withdraw.

A way to do so is for me to control the email address.

Is this a good idea?

That can be enough to not allow them to withdraw the money, but I just have one question why are you doing this, they can trade in paper, you decide to give to them an amount of bitcoin to start and then they create trades in a piece of paper keeping track of the prices that way, then they can close their position anytime by selling in paper this is a great way to learn without having to risk any money at all.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: February 02, 2018, 10:12:22 PM
Or a dead cat bounce.  Thing happen fast in the crypto world, so we will probably know in a few days if the rally is back on or it we headed for a deeper dip.
You were correct in your prediction, it seems we recovered a little but now we are in a bigger deeper hole, I'm not worried but I cannot blame those that are panicking with the current events especially if they invested when the price was high, it seems we will be in this path for some time before bitcoin begins to show any kind of signs of recovery.
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: February 02, 2018, 10:09:01 PM
You first Learn then you Earn. That is exactly what happens in trading. Research a lot before you actually start trading. Know what actually is trading, What makes a good coin a good project. Where investors get attracted the most and after you start getting a clear view of the bigger picture.
That, What exactly is trading, You are all set to rock in the market and start making profits by your knowledge and a bit of luck too!
Yeah too many are eager to try their luck in trading not understanding that trading works like everything else, if you put effort and time into it you are going to be eventually rewarded but if you do not then it does not matter how confident you are in your luck or other abilities you are going to eventually fail, but newbies do not see that they only have one thing in their minds and that is to make money fast.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could go down to $5,000 on: February 01, 2018, 09:43:12 PM
BTC could go down to $5,000. What do you think?
I thought 10k was the bottom and today we have seen that to not be true, so while bitcoin can touch that price I still think it is not very likely however we need good news for bitcoin and fast or more people will begin to sell their bitcoins, it seems the only news we are getting lately are bad news and this is making the price even more unstable than it normally is.
1087  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to sell my house? on: February 01, 2018, 09:40:27 PM
I would never sell my house for BTC if it drops you have to sleep in your car if you did not sold it for btc as well haha.
I don’t really think so that there is any such place which deals with bitcoin at the time of buying and selling of your house. You need to convert your bitcoin into paper money first and then you can use that paper money to buy any suitable house of your choice.

However, if you want to sell your house, then you have to sell it at the cost of paper money and then you can buy bitcoins using that money.
The recent drop in the price of bitcoin show to us the risk in the strategy of selling something as valuable as a house for bitcoin, can you imagine investing when bitcoin was 19k and seeing the price of bitcoin at 9k unless you have a very strong will it is going to be very difficult to not sell and to not be worried everyday thinking if you made the greatest mistake of your life.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Smile! There are no worst possible scenarios. We've already survived the worst! on: February 01, 2018, 09:28:31 PM
Nope, don't agree with you.  I think it's just as likely to go down to 6k than it is to go back up to 20k.  I've seen nothing that convinces me otherwise.  Your two scenarios are not the only scenarios, although pretty unlikely there's a non-negligible chance it could go even lower than 5k.  In short, anything can happen.  I'll wait to see some stability before buying more bitcoins.
Anything can happen but why are you going to wait even more,  you can get bitcoin for 9k that is good enough, I know that is better to buy at the absolute bottom of a market but to predict the exact bottom is difficult you need to set a price in which you think is good enough for you to buy, if 9k is not enough for you then what kind of price are you waiting for?
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: January 30, 2018, 09:01:09 PM
People always greed.
Yes, I am one of them.
Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin.
Would you like to share your experience?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit.
What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.

By your post your problem is not how to get more profits but how to avoid losing it, many people have earned fortunes just to lose it after a few years, look at lottery winners, they win the lottery and most of them end in bankruptcy, this is the truth for most professional athletes, so learn how to keep your money first only when you have done that you can earn how to make more money.

1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 30, 2018, 08:47:42 PM
Of course, the hackers say that there is no safe place in cyberspace but that will happen if you do not make mistakes in keeping your key because all security provided in myetherwallet is useless if the users themselves are not careful. hackers usually use phishing sites to get information about your account and your security key so you should be able to distinguish this site, if you click on a phishing site then you do not realize that you have submitted your account information.
Phishing attacks are the number 1 reason of people losing their coins in myetherwallet, people need to access that site only from a bookmark of the legit site, never access that website following a link, you could be redirected to a different website that looks the same or you could be infected by malware, but people do not listen until they lose their coins.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: January 30, 2018, 08:42:36 PM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about two months ago. I hold CMT and TRX in the Binance and now i want to trade with some coin about: ADA,ETC,... Please help me give some idea i should trade or not? Thank lots of for all.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

Being newbie is not an issue if and only if you have a guide. Always ask guidance and assistance from trading experts. First just observe them then ask questions that you don't understand. Then learn slowly to be independent since time to time you don't need to be dependent on them always.  You need to have your own.  Decision making will follow.
Having a mentor is a great idea but at the same time having a good trader to teach you is not easy, traders are very busy persons, they are always looking for opportunities to make money, and unless he is your friend or someone that you can get easy access the truth is that he is not going to be able to teach you effectively, so most of the time you are going to learn on your own and that is never easy.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm officially sick of the bitcoin price right now... on: January 30, 2018, 08:34:52 PM
.. so I've been watching and reading about btc technical analysis almost daily now, and I'm kind of sick of being in this current triangle.  I've only been in btc since September so I really don't have that much history, but for those who have been in btc much longer - how much longer do you think it will take before btc goes back on the upward trend again?  It just seems like a really long sideways movement.

On Dec 17th, it reached its high of $20k, and it has taken almost a month and we're still below those numbers.  What is your estimate for when we can be above $20k again and onward to what people predict for this year ($50k-$100k)?  Another month?  March?

I know nobody knows for sure, but just looking to hear about what people's gut feel is (and only from those who have btc experience over a year please).

Thanks.
It shows that you have not been on bitcoin for long, you are expecting the price of bitcoin to reach 50k to 100k in a month or march? We may need to wait for years to see those prices, not long ago 50k seemed to be decades away, you have no real experience with bitcoin, you only know one direction and that is up, be patient that is the only thing you can do right now.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: January 29, 2018, 07:03:50 PM
in my opinion is it will convert to half of money and another half again reinvest. what is your opinion and let rock together with my topic.?
If I get to my goals then the answer is simple I will sell most of my portfolio, I will keep some since I believe this technology is going to change the world, but for the rest is going to be used to improve my quality of life, and if possible I would like to enjoy my rest of my life as a never ending vacation, my goals are high so I do not think it is going to happen that soon.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's that are worth it? on: January 29, 2018, 06:54:21 PM
Hello,

I am new to this forum. I would like to ask if people have any good recommendations for ICO's worth investing in.
Could you maybe share the name of the ICO and why you think it will succeed?

Many thanks.
Find the icos yourself, it is not that we do not want to help, but it seems you are new in the forum, I do not know how much money you have ready to invest but are you willing to invest your money over the advice of strangers on the internet? At least check the coins that are being recommended to you so you do not invest in scams or in projects that have no future at all.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin get to drop to $5,000 and below in 2018 on: January 29, 2018, 06:46:13 PM
With the massive drop (bearish) in bitcoin in the past few days (January 2018)
Is it possible for the Bitcoin community to witness another bearish that can make bitcoin drop to $5,000 and below.

Kindly comment from the point of:
The power of the government and their regulation
vs
The oneness voice and power of the people (community) to withstand any unlawful regulations and manipulations

Bitcoin is still solid, the problem with governments is that while they are powerful using that power can be difficult, if governments ban bitcoin that will make the price to go down, but those that are hardcore bitcoin enthusiasts are going to become even more hardcore so it is going to be impossible to eliminate bitcoin and they will be left with no recourse to fight bitcoin anymore.

No one can stop you to do trading but since you are a newbie you need to study or make a research about trading because tradings is very risky, before you do tradings yo need to familiarize all the token in crypto currency and study the market chart to get a good strategy to do trading, and if you do tradings not all the time you win in trading you need to accept all the consequence and you can afford to lose.
To try to trade without any experience or knowledge is the equivalent of economic suicide, you are going to lose all your money, no matter how lucky you may think you are, there is no way to win against a market full of sharks that will take any opportunity to take the money away from less experimented traders, people need to stop this delusion that somehow they will be able to earn a fortune with trading without making a lot of effort.
1098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought pumping coins? on: January 28, 2018, 06:57:43 PM
I did. Went with the wave and got greedy thinking it will rise more.
I dont regret it though. I still see that certain coin will pump in months to come.
The service is good that is why I got hooked to it. It is just that all altcoins went down including bitcoin itself and ethereum. I will still be waiting for it to be priced at where it should be.
It seems you got deceive it is very unlikely a coin that has been pumped and dumped is going to recover the value at which you bought, most of the time those groups select coins with a low market cap and that are very stale in their development, sometimes the best you can do is to accept your losses and move on, since you are not only losing money but wasting time by every second you remain invested in that coin.
1099  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Microsoft joins Steam and stops accepting Bitcoin payments on: January 28, 2018, 06:53:59 PM
For those wondering, Microsoft corrected its 'mistake' and re-enabled Bitcoin payments. I don't really believe it was an actual mistake, because it's not the first time Microsoft stopped accepting Bitcoin temporarily.

It's the second time they have done so, and each time it was a mistake according to them. The only mistake was that they stopped accepting Bitcoin. After social media exploded, they quickly put the Bitcoin option back online again.

I don't even understand why they removed it in the first place. It's not that they lose anything if people don't use it to pay with Bitcoin. There are no monthly subscriptions nothing, so it doesn't make sense to ditch it.
At this point it is an issue of public relations and nothing more, after all how many people pay with bitcoin, I suppose very few if anyone, so they are probably losing money by maintaining that option open but they realize that if that option is not present they are going to receive a lot of criticism especially since Microsoft is one of the most recognized companies about technology around the world.
1100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why are people hiring crypto writers nowadays? on: January 28, 2018, 06:50:36 PM
Recently there have been many threads in the services section for hiring crypto writers.I even applied for one and that guy paid me $15 for an article on a particular altcoin.I am really curious to know where do these people post my/our crypto articles.
If they are paying $15-20 for a simple article then they must be earning more by posting our crypto writings.
I would be glad if someone could enlighten me about this platform where we can earn by posting altcoin articles.

Cryptocurrency is hot nowadays and since there are many people who are curious about it then those bloggers and site owners would be able to make money from the visitors so the more content they have in their site, the more visitors will come and may even recommend it to others because they can get valuable information from it. Maybe the bloggers are busy or they just want to take this opportunity to have more content in their site because cryptocurrency is trending so they would want to add value to their site as fast as possible so they are hiring crypto writers.
Sometimes it is just that they are suffering from a mental block, there are only so many ways you can talk about a subject that sometimes you need someone else to do it for you, then you see his article and new ideas and new ways to look at things come to you and now you are ready to write your articles in your blog once again, this is very common that is why many blogs allow guest post in their blogs.
