so am i right in saying that the gateway is not an encrypted service?

are there any anonymous features through the voip? outside of standard blockchain encryption that is.

will the payment system be through the qt, or through a seperate website?

did you set up a viorcoin voip address?

go to recieve coins
create an address by clicking on new address on the bottom left of the wallet.  Rename the new address messenger or something
right click on that address and click on Set as voip address.
after you are finished setting up your voip address click on viorcalls, then click on gateway and type in your phone number (+***********)including your country and area code numbers, this should register you with the gateway and sends you the code through your phone to input.
phone calls are not available quite yet......

to voice call or video chat also go to viorcalls
make sure you have set your voip address you need to do this every time you reopen your wallet
click on the connect button
then put in the address you wish to call and try calling it press call for voice chat or video call for videochat.

all of it works for me,  could you leave a bit more information about what you have done so far?

calling phone numbers wont be available until viorcoin dev opens up subscription but video and voice through ip work.

sorry, what i meant is that there is constant buying and selling going on right now, rather than large investors coming in to buy and sell huge amounts.  true a lot of this is backlash from the ramp up in volume yesterday, but i rather prefer seeing buys and sells on a regular basis rather than huge volume followed by 0 volume for hours.
of course we need both to create a healthy market, but it is better to place an order or a sell with the knowledge that it will be filled soon than it is to be selling into pumps and buying into dumps.

i do agree with you though, in that for the next 24 hours we may see a drop in price, but with less than 150 wallets the true price of this coin is still below what we are seeing right now.  all the higher prices are pure speculation on the potential of the vior gateway.

The day alt coins finally stop competing with bit coins and start enhancing it instead is the day we will all be part of the next big thing.

on a side note

im loving the action on bittrex right now, there is nice consistant small volume buy and sells, the market is looking very healthy.

.... it has been tested, i was able to register mine.
but he needed to fork the wallet to fix the syncing issue, and he added in the gateway tech at the same time because he could.

the only thing he hasnt added is the payment option.

due to the fact that there is no "how to" document on this telco gateway it could very well be user error and not a problem with the tech, could also be a problem with your provider....

either way the roll out of tech has been incredible over the past few weeks so being a little more patient cant hurt you.

give him some time to get the kinks worked out, paying for subscription isnt yet available.
hopefully once the tech is fully developed we can have a group of people in irc chat for a 24 hour a day help service..

after researching and taking part in the altcoin TELCO coins i began to wonder.

How many coins out there are useful to the whole crypto world, and arent just out there riding the coattails of bitcoins success.


I mean there are hundreds of coins trying to be the next bitcoin, but for the most part they dont help the community at all.  In fact they seem to be splitting resources that could be used in growing a viable internet community free from control of the banking world.
we all use bitcoins as a gateway into the altcoin world, and to believe that another coin will become the currency for this crypto revolution is probably delusional.

However the uses of altcoins for the crypto world in undeniable, from making transactions anonymous, to allowing business crowdfund their ideas without having to register with a government agency, to creating a phone that isnt being watched by the nsa, there is a limitless potential.


 I was wondering if you guys could post which coins you consider to be apps for the bitcoin world, ie. those that have a use for all crypto users.
