Wait until someone has them in stock.  I bought those at the end of November and have been buying Nvidia cards ever since, because I haven't seen them in stock anywhere.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many GPU's would you go for when getting a custom rig frame built? on: January 12, 2018, 08:09:35 PM
6-8
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i want to get a pc rig with a bunch of video cards to mine where do I begin? on: January 12, 2018, 08:08:27 PM
if you have good amount of $$$ buy 1080 ti.
it will give u more value in the long run
besides the stand alone bitcoin hardware miners do they sell any dedicated hardware that can mine all the coins a PC can?

No.  You buy the hardware and build it yourself.

Your boot media is no good.

And also you'll lose all of your money.  That's why I mine.  I have a lot money to get rid of.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still profitable? on: January 12, 2018, 03:03:12 PM
You'll lose all of your money if you put money into a mining rig.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ordering GPUs online and auto-notify on: January 12, 2018, 02:42:26 PM
Auto notify just isn't going to cut it in the fast paced GPU world.  I happened to see a 1070ti available on Newegg about a week ago just because I happen to be browsing at work.  i clicked order quickly and got it.  About 20 minutes later my auto notify from Newegg showed up. I clicked it just for fun and it was sold out.  Check every major place hourly and you may get lucky.  Cant rely on auto notify anymore.

Yeah i see now auto-notify really wont be cutting it anymore so i'll be checking GPU stocks now regularly. I feel like i'm back to day trading.

Is nowinstock.net really reliable in terms of getting immediate updates?

Out of the 18 Nvidia cards that I've bought over the past three weeks, I feel like I've paid a fair price for them.  $500 each on the 1070ti's and $820 each on the 1080ti's.  And when I say fair price, I mean fair within the past couple of months.  I may have overpaid on the 1080ti's ... Not sure yet.  I haven't paid much attention to the prices on those lately.

Nice deals. At current rates I see the 1070 TI going for $799 and the 1080 TI going for $1200. Lol.

I'm not sure about nowinstock.net.  One of my friends just told me about it last night and I haven't even looked at it yet.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ordering GPUs online and auto-notify on: January 12, 2018, 02:41:00 PM
Has anyone had luck with ordering GPUs online lately?

"Lately" in crypto is hours, not days, right? Lol ... I was able to get six 1070ti's on Dec 19th ... six more 1070ti's on Dec 26th ... and six 1080ti's on Jan 8th.

Gamers are getting really pissed off at the doubling of the prices of gpus from just a couple of months ago.

I know.  I love it.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting forever on Amazon stock of 1070ti. Awful! on: January 12, 2018, 02:38:52 PM
There is a lot of demand for gpu's due to which the cards get sold out quick and it takes time to restock.

No shit?  Lol.  We have a fucking genius in the house.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are these MINING MASHINES sites are SCAM/FAKE ?! on: January 12, 2018, 02:36:39 PM
Bitmain is not fake.  Buy from them and be done with it.

Oke, so your opinion is not to try my luck!
Thanks, I'm still waiting respond from their office! So I also think it's SCAM

They don't answer email.  You need to submit a ticket.  And since you're not inquiring about buying 100K worth of equipment, they probably won't respond at all.  If you get a response in a few months, you'll be one of the lucky ones.  This doesn't mean that Bitmain doesn't deliver.  They are just poor on the customer service side, because they can be.  They are the biggest.  They don't give a fuck about your small time mining operation that you're trying to build.  Why should they?  Do some fucking research dude.

I'm anti-New Egg since they charge sales tax in my state .... Lol .... I honestly have been lucky though .... I got 6 Vega56's in late November for a very good price and when my co-worker looked the next day, they were gone ... Haven't seen any since then that were not double or more than what I paid.

I don't have any H110's, so hopefully someone chimes in soon that does have experience with them.  Is this your first build with that board?
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No video signal on H110 on: January 12, 2018, 03:36:17 AM
Does it work with one GPU plugged in?  Are you using that GPU for the monitor or iGPU?

On two instances within the past week, I've watched gpu's go out of stock within 45 minutes after I got an email notification.  One was for a card I don't care too much about ... The other I did want, so I snagged 6 of them.  I just rely on the email app on my phone to alert me.  One of my friends just told me about nowinstock.net ... That's something that I'm going to try out.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are 1070 TI's the next best GPU for mining? 4.7 sols per watt on: January 12, 2018, 03:18:54 AM
Good luck buying anything right now.  You are SOL unless you have a jar of lube handy and an ebay account.

Not exactly true ... I bought six 1070ti's on the on Dec 19th for $500 each ... six more 1070ti's on Dec 26th for $500 each ... And six 1080ti's on Jan 8th for $820 each.

You just have to check with all of the big name suppliers multiple times a day ... Use notifications, because once they are out there, they are gone in less than an hour.  That has been my experience on the three orders I mentioned above anyway.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining monero on: January 11, 2018, 09:57:05 PM
Vega 64s are currently the best GPU for the Cryptonight Algorithm.

Vega 56 and RX 580/70s are good too. AMD cards are better than Nvidia currently for cryptonote coins.

What he said ... Vega's kill it on the Cryptonight algo.  I have a six gpu vega 56 rig that I was mining XMR with.
how many h / s can you get from 6 gpu vega 56?

My rig does about 12,600 h/s.

Which software may be the best to mine Zcash with 1080ti linux/windows?

I am using EWBF for my 1080ti's mining zec in windows OS, so far no complaint about it, and super stable easily achieved 690-700 however i'm sticking on lower clocks for 650h/s preferred less power consumption. other users reported DSTM's a bit higher hashrates, you may check on the threads below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.500

That's what I'm using on my 1070ti rigs for zec and zen.  Couldn't think of the name of the miner, but that's the one Vosk used in his video.
