No asset today inspires love and fear more than bitcoin. Bitcoin is just a high-tech variant of gold; The struggle for money is also a battle of faith, and the historical cycle of silver has not ended.

I have previously sold over £50k in gold at a bullion dealer with no paper work.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy 1 ounce Silver. End the Fed on: May 13, 2018, 05:48:25 PM
Good thread here.  Glad someone is acknowledging the idiocy of metals in 2011.

Bitcoin is also internet talks. Try speaking about Bitcoin to bank managers, businessmen, shop/store owners etc.. They earn multi-million dollars from sales of products and services. That's real business.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 13, 2018, 05:42:10 PM
There is no point to explain to him anything, bitcoin price will not go back to 400 dollars, but even if it does it will bounce back and if he leave now he will miss all that for sure. That can't happen, but this guy made us think what if something like that happen and to create some theories.
Price fluctuate all the time, last drop is caused by the sell of in Asia, market lost almost 100 billion dollars in seven days, some alts dropped even more then bitcoin.

Who could imagine Silver price will fall to $9/ounce and gold to $900/ounce. I see DOW Jones at 7000
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 13, 2018, 01:38:02 AM
I agree with you bitcoin will boom in 5 years and all og this FUD will not make sense , I recommend to you to buy bitcoins now until it's still cheap

1 Bitcoin = $8,000 in not boom ?? $8,000 is cheap ??
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy 1 ounce Silver. End the Fed on: May 13, 2018, 01:04:23 AM
yes 100% sure:

I was able to sell 100% pure 3 ounces Silver coin without a purchase's receipt. That is the trust bullion dealers have in 100% pure gold and silver.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: May 12, 2018, 05:15:11 PM
well, saying it is so easy, even we know long ago that gold and silver are really excellent investment tools. but, we do not have the money to buy it, we do not even know how to produce it. well, so bitcoin becomes an alternative. so many ways to get bitcoin for free, and that's pretty easy compare to looking for gold, and silver.

There is $10 to $90 worth of Gold in each computer/laptop processor. Central Banks buy Gold. I think the circuits of computer/laptops motherboards are lined with silver.

Blockchain technology is run by Gold and Silver
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: James Turk: You don't invest in gold, gold is money on: May 12, 2018, 01:04:10 PM
Gold isn't being seen as money in the way that you can walk into any store and throw your rocks on the table and demand to buy a TV or whatever.I have seen myself how physical Gold transactions have been taking place where it was either to sell for fiat, or trade for a watch or car. In the same way I am sure that way larger transactions are taking place with Gold. It could be anything; real estate, cars, art, etc. It's a great tool in various circumstances as well, especially when you can avoid tax in some cases that would otherwise require you to pay tax if the transaction was completed with fiat. People should think further than just the grocery store. It's totally not about that.

The solar industry uses estimated 52,400,000 ounces of Silver

The average solar panel actually uses about two-thirds of an ounce of silver, which is about 20 grams. That might not sound like a lot, but at around $20 an ounce it contributes more to the cost of solar than it does to the other industrial products that use silver. For example, a laptop only contains 750 milligrams to 1.25 grams of silver while a cell phone contains just 200-300 milligrams of silver, so silver is a tiny fraction of the cost of those devices.

Those miles and miles of solar farms in mountains of China. See my twitter page   Wink

Digital photography may have disappeared but new industrial uses are being found such as solar panels.

Are you sure Silver is used in solar panels ? That is HUGE BUSINESS now worldwide.
1090  Economy / Economics / Buy 1 ounce Silver. End the Fed on: May 12, 2018, 06:20:03 AM
In 2012, there were lots of internet talks "Buy 1 ounce silver. End the Fed" then Silver fell to $9/ounce

Bitcoin has the same story with all the anti-government, end banks and anonymous talks.   Grin
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 12, 2018, 04:41:56 AM
If you come back to bitcoin in 5 years you most likely won’t even be able to afford to buy 0.05 bitcoin’s. With the next halving in 2020 plus the gradual increase in price due to new adopters if you’re leaving now you moght as well stay away because you’ll be kicking yourself.

Now 0.1 Bitcoin = $820 (I am from Asia)

1 Bitcoin = 109 Japanese yen or 6.3 Chinese Yuan or 67.30 Indian rupees or 14 Indonesian Rupiah

Why bother to comeback?besides 'no ones gonna miss you'better stay away forever trust me we will be happy without persons like youre kind lol.
And if you wanna go theres no need to make farewell thread, you dont have any value in cryptoworld mate, but dont ever forget this 'bitcoin will grow bigger than you even think'but the sad thing youre not there to notice ,because you are a weak person.

I bought 10- BTC for 15 000. And now I want to sell only on 10 000. Be aware
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 11, 2018, 03:23:11 PM
LOL.Oh boy this is the worst attempt of trolling or fear mongering I have ever seen here.
Do you own any Bitcoin? If so, have you sold when you think going south is the only direction? Or even better? Have you opened a short if you are so convinced about that?I m pretty sure you're just talking and therefore you don't have the balls to put your money where your mouth is. In 5 years from now on, that's my prediction, we will be close to the 2024 halving and already above $50k per Bitcoin!
And have I put my money where my mouth is? Damn yes! I'm long! And not a small amount of money.

Buy 1 bitcoin for $3,000 ?? Are you 12 years old ?? I will get 1 acre land for $8,000 worldwide. My buy price for Bitcoin is $600.
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden Price Drop! What's going on with the Market? on: May 11, 2018, 03:19:05 PM
Few days back I was this close to buying BTC when it was around 10k, but halted for some reasons. Now I see the price is around 8.6k and I wonder why the sudden downwards trend! I see no major news out there (or maybe the statements of mr. buffet and gates?). What could be the reason and how dip the price can go?

People are there to sell at $10,000 after all the Bitcoin bashing by big names.

I bought 10- BTC for 15 000. And now I want to sell only on 10 000. Be aware

There is no support/buyers for Bitcoin at $10,000. it is the "panic price" for traders cartel/gamblers since buyers at $6,000 will sell Bitcoin.   Grin

Why sell at a loss, can’t you wait 12 - 18 months & see what happens? I’m certain you’ll be in profit by then.

How much profit will he get if he sells 1 Bitcoin for $18,000 after 2 years ? Silver can be $60/ounce after 2 years from Syria and middle east situation. Now Silver is $17/ounce. 28 Israeli fighter jets fired missiles on Iranian targets in Syria yesterday. That's big.

Look at all the other investments
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: James Turk: You don't invest in gold, gold is money on: May 11, 2018, 03:05:47 PM
That is a well known and trusted bullion dealer. Why is it fake news, not hard to verify the claim by just looking a gold price chart?

Just 3 months back, Gold was $1356/ounce. How could that be 6 months high price shown by Bullionbypost yesterday
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the true potential of Blockchain and decentralisation? on: May 11, 2018, 01:37:05 PM
Gold is universally accepted investment & most liquid (convertible to cash) asset. I was able to sell 100% pure 3 ounces Silver coin without a buyer's receipt. I have also sold 2 ounces of gold without purchase receipt. That is the trust bullion dealers have in 100% pure gold and silver.

Gold is preserve of wealth. After 100 years of industrial revolution, Gold has seen and survived many wars, economic crashes, 9/11 terrorist attacks, economic booms, technology revolutions and more..
