PS: Because people still not get why this is a ponzi.

Lets think about a situation where this currency takes off. Do you know where all the "market cap" will be? In the pockets of the exchange. Sure they promise to always payout. But it wouldn't be the first exchange to run with >5 M usd.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MaskCoin and MaskNetwork on: August 18, 2014, 05:15:27 PM
You are a tard...

Also you will be able to set prices in USD and people pay with the actual exchangerate.

Or NXT marketplace in 3 days.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MaskCoin and MaskNetwork on: August 18, 2014, 12:32:35 PM
Are you kidding? Are you limited on selling BTC only on bitstamp? Can you cash out from bitstamp? Can you sell BTC on bitstamp only directly to bitstamp?
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: August 18, 2014, 11:31:12 AM
What was the conclusion of the hacked NXT funds?

BTER and the Hacker went back and forth in small amounts (with hacker sending first). BTER sent over 330btc and hacker sent over 42M BTC. Hacker left before the last 8M NXT was transferred back, and BTER is trying to contact him about that. So 42M of the 50M is back in BTER's hands. No where near as bad as the 45M that was gone.

8M Nxt is still a lot of money. Really hope BTER can get them all back

Otherwise many customers may get hurt

After all, it is public money and not belongs to BTER

The 8M NXT are probably BTERs stash. They got 8 months of 0.5% cashout fees and 0.2% trading fees

So in that photo a ways back..the classics you showed were black, is there any chance of getting those instead of white?

There might be good news next week for you :-) *wink*

Please don't tell me that I need to buy another one because you now have black ones... damn
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: August 18, 2014, 10:34:11 AM
Damm why this nxt is back... Its a total rip off! So you also support scam coins :-(( To bad..

So why do you think NXT is a scamcoin?
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Thread for Nxt :: Descendant of Bitcoin on: August 18, 2014, 10:18:19 AM
None of these "sellers" followed through.  I wonder if that's reason to leave a negative trust?

It is no reason. Only if both parties agreed to make a deal. he just posted an offer, that is not binding in any way.

Also the 0.00004 offer was ridiculous, the BTER price was never correct.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. CryptoCurrency build from SCRATCH on NODE.JS - Brand NEW! on: August 18, 2014, 09:49:28 AM

apart from NODE being a stripped down clone of NXT and originally called NXTL you mean?

Everyone knows they just recoded NXT in another language, yawn.

how do you know that? are you just speculating? they have not released any code that i am aware of so it can be new code or a copy of nxt. neither are a bad thing for node, nxt is a good platform but its mainly the services and uses which give a coin value. correct me if im wrong tho

No NXT has value because it is a new source code not related to a bitcoin that gives it value. NAS was a clone of NXT ultimately just as useful as NXT but is perceived as worthless junk. So yeah it matters.

You got to be suspicious cause up until quite late it was always marketed as a NXT clone but a simplified version literally called NXT Lite. Suddenly it changed to NODE and it's a new code. Guilty till proven innocent is the best policy with crypto. Once they release a source code we can say it's a new code, till then remain skeptical if you are wise.
NXT has a value because it is held by small group of people. Roll Eyes

Yeah, how could a coin with the most advanced technology have value? --> obv by manipulation....

You guys realize that the way the exchange "determines" the prize that it is a pyramid scheme right?

"A pyramid scheme is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public....In a pyramid scheme, an organization compels individuals to make a payment and join. In exchange, the organization promises its new members a share of the money taken from every additional member that they recruit."

- We don't pay old investors using the money from new investors. We pay them from their own money.
- We don't ask you to enroll other people into the scheme.
- We do sale something in exchange for USD.

A market like maskexchange.com has huge advantages :

- The liquidity is guaranteed. There is always a buyer. There is always a seller.
- Transactions are instantly executed at the right price.
- Price gaps are not possible. In a regular market like Bitstamp, if the buyers get out of the market for a short period of time, the price collapses.

and so on...

really different.

A market like maskexchange.com has huge advantages :

- Price gaps are not possible. In a regular market like Bitstamp, if the buyers get out of the market for a short period of time, the price collapses.

.....

And huge disadvantages. The site is always the counterparty and because of their system the site can never lose money, but only. Now because the site can never lose money, the customers will always have a net loss. Sure their "Balance" might say they have a "gain" because the price is now higher, but once some people cashout the price plummets to where it was before those  guys bought.

That is not a free market. That is a ponzi.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: bter hacked and lost 50m nxt on: August 18, 2014, 08:14:39 AM
that terminology concerns me.. i don't want to be heavily invested in a "social experiment" thanks.
that just comes across like a crappy excuse..
like your just trying to smooth things over.

Unless I get this wrong, why do you "need" to be heavily invested in this social experiment? Who exacatly makes you?
Just ignore it and live on your life Smiley
1092  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 18, 2014, 08:07:21 AM
Some feedback: After a week of usage, I am very pleased with the trezor and it works flawlessly (well, except the 3xxxx bug). Thank you again for that great tool!

HAhaha this is funny.

When I asked why they need 1500 BTC the people laughed at me.

 dit you invested ?

No because they said it is a fair valuation @ 1500 BTC for 15% of all coins. I disagreed and said that I will buy at 100 satoshis.
