Sometimes you see a user whose merits come only from the source of merit. It turns out that it is only good for one person.
This is a good point and something I will look at more in the future. Your position is sensible, yet, many users could be discouraged posting, without seeing their post being noticed, which isn't good either. For this balance, I propose my review for the users who might feel more rewarded by a merit, rather than the pure joy of sharing their toughs. |

42k è una resistenza tecnicamente molto importante. Se viene tagliata come il burro, siamo ufficialmente in FOMO euforica. Che non è mai un bel segnale perchè implica altissima volatilità. Spero in un maggiore consolidamento attorno a questa area. Questo è il funding rate dei principali exchange  Più alti sono gli istogrammi più è forte la speculazione (perchè significa che c'è più gente che compra a prestito). Per ora siamo lontani dai livelli del 2021 ma gli exchange considerati (Bybit, Deribit, Binance, Bitmex...) sono finiti sotto la scure della SEC quindi è difficile fare paragoni. I volumi molto alti su CME e BITO sono segnali della forte domanda "istituzionale". Oggi avevo aperto un piccolo short sui 41.9k ma l'ho subito richiuso perchè mi aspettavo un ritracciamento maggiore. Si sta speculando ovviamente sull'ETF ma speculare su qualcosa non è segnale di crescita armoniosa, quella da preferire. In realtà la volatilità di Bitcoin è piuttosto bassa: sia la realised, ovvero quella storica, che nell’ultimo mese è al 33%, che quella implicita, che nel prossimo mese prezza un 51%, cioè in aumento. La volatilità a tre mesi è del 57%. Questo significa che la volatilità implica da gennaio in poi sarà molto più alta. Quello si, posso crederci benissimo. |

L'altranno chi aveva acquistato ai minimi sarà felice  Curiosissimo di vedere questa dinamica da qui all'halving, e in mezzo c'è capodanno, che un pò mi ricorda il 2017. Bel movimento. Mi sono svegliato stamattina con il crypto X impazzito. È, ipoteticamente, l’onda lunga dell’approvazione dell’ ETF, che a questo punto però diventa un sell the news. O no? Sono un boomer e quindi uso l'espressione "Calma e gesso".
L'azione di Theymos è finalizzata solamente a preservare il forum nel lungo periodo: per quanto sia idiota l'idea, qualcuno potrebbe accanirsi contro il forum per la presenza di campagne per i mixers. é quindi nell'interesse dell'amministratore del forum limitare questo vettore di attacco scarificando le campagne di firma.
Come ho già detto: è una svolta epocale per il forum, e mi ricorda quando i venditori di tabacco furono costretti a lasciare la Formula1. Si pensava che il cuscus avrebbe chiuso i battenti. Ed invece no, nuovi sponsor sono arrivati ed hanno addirittura superato quelli vecchi.
Succederà la stessa cosa qui? Non lo so, me lo auguro.
Per certo, al primo gennaio ne vedremo delle belle con i campaign managers.
Qualche mixer ha addirittura aumentato le fees fino al 31, tanto per lasciare un buon ricordo!

Ma quindi tutte le merit source non avete le stesse quantità di sMerit ogni mese? Come funziona o in base a cosa danno tot sMerit ogni mese?
Giusto per curiosità personale
Ogni MS ha una allocazione che dipende da quanto ha deciso Theymos di dare, in maniera unilaterale. Io ho iniziato con 300 meriti mensili, ma sono salito con l'ultimo reshuffle, luglio 2020 se non erro, a 1000 al mese. Babo credo che ne abbia di meno. Non ho notizie di MS con più di 1,000 merits mensili. All'epoca dell'ultimo reshuffle Theymos fece trasparire l'idea di adeguare le merit bag (la quantità di merits) con un algoritmo, ma mi pare che non se ne sia più fatto nulla. Le merit sources sono ignote comunque, e se loro non vogliono rivelarsi, è nel loro pieno diritto farlo. Si possono avere dei "sospetti", ma la certezza non si avrà mai. |

Man mano le persone aumentano, chiaramente ci sta maggiore chance di stare fuori.
Esatto. Man mano che la gente cresce di merits, compila le proprie trust list e viene frustata da altri utenti, aumenta il numero di potenziali canditati alla DT!, quindi cala la probabilità di essere eletti. Ogni mese c'è una nuova elezione ed il fatto di essere eletto è indipendente dallo status IN/OUT Pare o forse sospettano in tanti che Ratimov abbia abbandonato il ruolo di merit source, ma sinceramente ci ho capito ben poco. Oppure theymos avrà modificato qualcosa?
Fino a quando uno dei diretti interessati non si esprimerà, ne sapremo ben poco. Speravo almeno in un aumento della MS di @babo, a questo giro. |

Forse non lo sapete, ma c'è una pagina dove si vede il totale delle merit source (MS) e dei meriti da esse distribuite in tutto il forum. Qualcuno si diverte a tenere sott'occhio la lagina, e recentemente abbiamo avuto una sorpresa. Merit bellThe total merit sources number is still 109 but total sourced merit drops a lot from 33940 to 33140. There is less 800 sourced merit each 30 days than the last merit bell.
