1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do people really make millions of $ transactions? on: October 26, 2016, 06:17:01 PM
Well yes . Filthy rich people and early miners habe made millions of $ worth of transactions loads of times just check the chain. I once was paid by a wallet that contained a few thousand bitcoins !! Can you believe it !?
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: October 26, 2016, 04:13:30 PM
The land and property says its 1milliom M wtf is M ? I know its currency but is a million of is 1 xmr ? There limited amounts or what ?

I want a house and land for 1xmr but I will only get it after the weekend when I'm paid. I dont want to miss out Sad I'm new and have no odes what is going on I just see some opportunity here to make profits while I have fun and increase the value of the xmr and altcoin community.

M is the in-game currency. XMR is what you deposit into and withdrawal from the game (instead of euro or dollars like most games).

1,000,000m = 1xmr on deposit or withdrawal. Does that make more sense?

And welcome to the game! Smiley

Yes thank you that makes perfect sense now. I knew xmr was the main currency just inside if the ingsme currency was still worth xmr or not and Noe I see that it is which is what I wanted. I think less serious games have seperste currencies although you can sometimes buy and sell. Bit in cryptokingdom you dont have to sorry about it.

I will admit though I most have played the "action fast paced and fancy graphic type RPGs" like wow and such. I'm talking about what was said in the beginner guide about if the names suited for you. But I use to play tabletop d & d and consider that roleplaying more then games. Games are great but you can't do what you want. Although elder scrolls does an amazing job especially since players can create stories for others to enjoy in the form of quests.

Cryptokingdom is pretty much like a pen and paper RPG about life and living in an economy. You use your imagination as you would reading a good book. I can see a lot of thought has been taken into making this game. I also am open minded to anything even if it sounds crap at first.

1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 75% of bitcoin mined? on: October 26, 2016, 02:53:47 AM
What does this even mean? If there is only so much BTC in circulation how can it grow to become a widely accepted currency? wouldn't this give an unfair advantage to holders like us, and causes an alternate monopoly which eventually will fail the objective of becoming a widely accepted currency?

Very easy. It depends on the ratio. All you do is change the ratio. Like dude didn't you think this properly through when you asked this ? It doesnt matter how many there are. Do you know what a ratio is ?

Even if there eas only 1 bitcoin ever it doesn't matter because you keep a ratio. More coins = less value. Less coins = more value.

Basic economics.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: October 26, 2016, 02:47:16 AM
I think its better to have altcoins with bitcoin because it helps give a better spread of crypto currencies and increase their use. For example not everyone wants to or can mine spmthe stake or mint instead. The other currencies give you different options for investing as well. Nothing wrong with a little competition anyway.

Though now we really need more and more ways to spend altcoins strait without having to convert to bitcoins before hand. This will increase everything's value and give us more orders to buy and sell with. That's what I mean when I say it gives a better spread to have altcoins.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 02:44:14 AM
Cash is so stone aged technology.  xP why use it when you can just make fast cheap transactions without the bank within a few minutes ? The times are changing so is the way we deal with money. Technology will upgrade like this all the time. Look how computers changed.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After cold war is it bitcoin war? on: October 26, 2016, 02:38:41 AM
Lol like the cold war. No it won't be like that but hacked wars go on all the time. Big companies taking one another down and hiring hackers to do it or extremist groups or even freedom fighters .

1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Argument for Bitcoin as Private Property on: October 26, 2016, 12:03:19 AM
The part about what will happen if you pass away is very cleber. I think people should have their passphrase and eberying printed and kept in the safe. If they die their family know its in the safe. No point on wasting good bitcoin Smiley
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: October 25, 2016, 11:48:47 PM
Yes bitcoin just like anything else can be used for good or evil. It depends on what the person who is using the bitcoin wants. No different to anything else. We cannot blame am pject for our actions only ourselves. Bitcoin is just currency. You could buy a gun and shoot someone or you could buy bread and feed a family. What you do is up to you.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: October 25, 2016, 11:45:00 PM
Just because they the ones mining ot doesnt mean they the ones who will be bolding it.
There already exists many bitcoins and that is all that is needed. You can already just buy them instead of mining so I dont see the issue here.
1094  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2016, 11:41:53 PM
I have 75% of my total earning in bitcoin right now, but in few more days i may short few bitcoin like 25% so i will still be holding 50% of my total investment in bitcoin after few days also.

I think 50% will be an ideal holding % of total investment to buy back if price drops and not to get sad if price get pumped because you still hold some bitcoin.

I agree it is ideal and 50% is what I ise with most investments. When I see a coin doing well I will cash out half and ave the other half the investment for better days Smiley Pointless to keep fiat unless you need cash to pay for things. I know many places only take cash but this is mainly smaller business or at markets.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Quantum Computers Spell the Doom of Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2016, 09:40:39 PM
All it will do is make mining super fast for early investors and it will go back to the same after more and more people buy quantum computers. I really dont understand the big deal here. Its just newer and newer faster and better technology. Its always been that way.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: October 25, 2016, 09:36:03 PM
They your bitcoin and ypu can do what you want with them storing them is probably just an ok idea. Investing is better. Eventually you will spend stored bitcoin anyway. There will always be plenty people trading and buying and selling things so bitcoin will always be on the move and never in one place for too long.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MAshable Article about 3d Printing features a Bitcoin Ring (or Belt) by whom?? on: October 25, 2016, 09:33:50 PM
I first need to have the capital to purchase the rings with regular currency. The rings are then shipped to me (usually within about 3 weeks), and I need to ship them on to customers that wish to purchase using BTC.  I have done this and lost a fair amount of money in the process due to BTC price fluctuations, and I simply can't afford to lose any more money in the same way. If people buy in Dollars or Euros from Shapeways, the rings get shipped straight to them without me having to act as the middleman and risk losing money due to price fluctuations, and I don't have to cover the unnecessary cost of extra shipping - it works out way cheaper for the buyers that way.

This is the strangest post ever... last post was in 2012 and now someone not mentioned in the thread, starts this up again? What's up with

that? If I have to wait that long for a response from the guy making these rings, I would never buy anything from him.  Roll Eyes ...but I have

to say, it is a very cool ring. Having customers covering for most of the upfront costs to acquire the ring, will also not boost confidence in

the seller.  Roll Eyes

Why wouldn't you buy anything from him it's cheap to print a ring. I want to have a little bitcoin chest printed with a whole bunch of tiny little bitcoin to fill it with and spread around it. I'll put it on my desk. Just another geeky momento to have around to collect dust ^^
1098  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 25, 2016, 09:28:42 PM
Because bitcoin can take a 20% hit like it did when the exchange was hacked and still get up. It is almost as high as it was then. $700 here we come at great speed. Lately the price has rocketed.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we estimate the total power usage of the Bitcoin network? on: October 25, 2016, 07:32:17 PM
Yes you can since all you do is add up all the mining power or work out how much mining power is needed and that will be the minimum miners we can have or the system won't work. So yes it is entirely possible. The twonusers above me seem to know their stuff and habe worked out the power requirements and I have no reason to believe they wrong in anyway. Looks like a good estimate by me. Now just times that by the amount of blocks mined each day and you have your answer.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happen with bitcoin after not mineable? on: October 25, 2016, 07:22:23 PM
since bitcoin isnt energy efficient it wont survive. i give bitcoin another 2-5years
other coins like "burstcoin" are energy friendly so they will take the lead.

just my toughts

Lol. Wow.... How do you actually function in the real world with that brain of yours ? So you saying abnks are mor energy efficienct ? Get an education bro.

what happen with bitcoin after not mineable?
miner will stop his mining activity ? then how to make bitcoin network strongest ?
and how about the price of bitcoin ?

None of is will be alive then so who cares ??
When all bitcoin are mined we will still have miners otherwise how will the transactions go through ? There will always be miners. Learn how bitcoin works before asking questions like this please.
