I first need to have the capital to purchase the rings with regular currency. The rings are then shipped to me (usually within about 3 weeks), and I need to ship them on to customers that wish to purchase using BTC.  I have done this and lost a fair amount of money in the process due to BTC price fluctuations, and I simply can't afford to lose any more money in the same way. If people buy in Dollars or Euros from Shapeways, the rings get shipped straight to them without me having to act as the middleman and risk losing money due to price fluctuations, and I don't have to cover the unnecessary cost of extra shipping - it works out way cheaper for the buyers that way.

This is the strangest post ever... last post was in 2012 and now someone not mentioned in the thread, starts this up again? What's up with

that? If I have to wait that long for a response from the guy making these rings, I would never buy anything from him.  Roll Eyes ...but I have

to say, it is a very cool ring. Having customers covering for most of the upfront costs to acquire the ring, will also not boost confidence in

the seller.  Roll Eyes

Why wouldn't you buy anything from him it's cheap to print a ring. I want to have a little bitcoin chest printed with a whole bunch of tiny little bitcoin to fill it with and spread around it. I'll put it on my desk. Just another geeky momento to have around to collect dust ^^
