Gee that's an awful lot of rage and emotion in one paragraph, did your parents hit you when you were young? LOL! Really? Sorry 'bout that. I've already stated that they did and I'm fine with it. I think the "rage and emotion" you're sensing is from all the kids I see these days running their parents lives and the parents doing nothing about it.

Although they're both kinda old now, Age of Empire II and Dune were a couple games (similar to C&C) I had a lot of fun playing. CivIII was sort of the same, but turn based. (I think it's at version 5 now.) I haven't played any of the other games mentioned, but Starcraft (2) is extremely popular and is supposed to be quite amazing.

Ah the old "My parents did that to me and I didn't grow up badly" lololololol by the way, let's not call it 'discipline' please, it's assault, if it was done towards an adult it would be considered assault. Lawful corporal punishment is not assault. An assault is an attack, not punishment. While we argue semantics little assholes run amok and grow up to become big assholes, because of bleeding hearts that think you can always reason with children and make laws that prevent people from exercising control over their own kids. This isn't child abuse we're talking about, it's discipline. Time outs or lengthy discussions are not always effective or appropriate. Also, many kids just don't have the ability to understand reason, as well as there being adults who aren't as able to convey it, but they do know right from wrong. So to spare these kids a spanking you would rather the parents do nothing or just give them up to the state to deal with them? I think that would do the child far greater harm than good. While I admit that spanking also isn't always effective or appropriate, until we live in this perfect world you're dreaming of, where adults are always able to communicate intelligently with their always reasonable children, I believe spanking has its place as an acceptable disciplinary tool, provided it isn't used solely or abused.

The same way I have a problem with parents who don't even try to reason with their children, I also have a problem with those that don't discipline them when necessary.
Obviously reasoning with a child is always preferable and parents should never neglect to do so, but if your child is being unreasonable then what? Just let them continue to be assholes and eventually the state can deal with them? If my parents weren't as strict as they were and if they didn't discipline me when they did, I most certainly would have done some jail time or maybe even be dead.

Bombs and bullets don't discriminate. For this reason I don't think the standards should be any different between men and women. To all those (men and women) that didn't pass... their lives (and the lives of anyone who would've been teamed up with them) were likely spared.

Fair enough, I get it, I'm reading the "I'm in love" thread right now.
Ps. Who the hell is King Vod and how do I get him to verify me as legit?
LOLOLOL no one really cares u know... You don't care about Vod? Everyone said he's kinda important here. He give newbies negative feedback for no reason and he totally sucks as far as I know. From what I've seen, he keeps the scammers in check. They're the only ones that need to fear Vod.

I think Diablo 2 is the best multiplayer game. It's simple, yet addictive. Since I'm a fan, even Diablo 3 is awesome.
Ditto. I really love the gameplay D2 is a fucking brilliant game. D3 is just a cash grab taking advantage of the success of its predecessor.

http://www.correntewire.com/nypd_hyper_militarization_escalates_with_brattons_srg_for_advanced_disorder_controlBratton Escalates and/or Formalizes Militarization of NYPD to deal with "counter terrorism protection" and "advanced disorder control." There will be "vehicles equipped with machine guns." This unit will be "operational by summer" (how conveninent!) and will be housed in NYPD's very own Counterterrorism Bureau. “It [SRG] will be equipped and trained in ways that our normal patrol officers are not, [does that mean they won't whack guys selling loosies? something else? hard to tell]” Commissioner Bill Bratton said Thursday. “It will be equipped with all the extra heavy protective gear, with the long rifles and the machine guns that are unfortunately sometimes necessary in these instances.” A bit of good news regarding the previous report on the NYPD or SRG being equipped with machine guns during protests. http://theantimedia.org/nypd-scraps-plan-to-use-machine-guns-at-protests/“the most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.”
With this concept at work (in reverse), citizens of New York and the United States successfully intimidated the NYPD from implementing a terrifying policy. Wouldn't it be nice to see the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense also realize what a terrible decision they've made and follow suit?

Can't believe just a few people answered the poll. Dragon Ball Z seems to be favorite, btw, there are lots of missing Animes, like Evangelion and Samurai X.
Yes, Neon Genesis Evangelion should definitely be in the list - it's probably my favorite anime. FLCL is also pretty good. Out of those in the poll, Death Note and Code Geass are the ones I liked most. Ok, ok, I voted. Death note.

Any Adam Sandler movie made in the last 15 years.
Even though it's a chick flick, I really enjoyed 50 First Dates. Ghost rider 2 - so bad you want to punch the screen Other than 'Leaving Las Vegas' (which I love) and 'Matchstick Men', I hate every movie Nicolas Cage ever made. Granted he's in a lot of douche-y movies, he simply works SO much that he is also in quite a few good ones too. Kinda like Gene Hackman, who admits that he never turns down a role, no matter what. He's a hard working actor, and doesn't sit around waiting for the perfect role, he just gets out there and does it. Nic Cage movies that don't suck; Kick Ass Bad Lieutenant Grindhouse Adaptation Bringing out the dead leaving las vegas Wild At Heart Vampire's Kiss Moonstruck Raising Arizona Birdy Cotton Club Rumble Fish Valley Girl Fast Times At Ridgemount High I'd say he does ok I'll admit, NC wasn't bad in Kickass either. Raising Arizona was alright too, not that I'd be interested in watching it again. Strange, I don't even recall him being in Grindhouse or even Fast Times At Ridgemont High, both of which are great, albeit it's been a very long time since I've watched Fast Times. I absolutely loved the original version of Bad Lieutenant (1992) and hated the remake or sequel or whatever you wanna call it, starring NC. I never really cared much for the rest of the films on your list, other than Leaving Las Vegas which happens to be one of my favorite movies. Gene Hackman is a phenomenal actor and I dare say he's never made a bad movie.

Cool song bro. I first heard it a few months ago when ibminer posted it in the What Song are you Listening To? thread. Probably the best Bitcoin anthem to date, although the video could definitely be improved upon. Any plans on making a better video for it? We thought about doing a video with visuals (even though we don't have the funding)...but we actually thought that due to the lyrical content and an audience probably not used to listening to hip hop, it might be more conducive to just provide the lyrics for the listener to follow along. Great song. I like it and will share it. Thank you for your effort.
thank you! Much appreciated! BTCIt's a pretty damn good song to be honest Are you planning to do any more songs related to Bitcoin with anyway ? that would be cool . ~ Madness We've thought about doing other songs related to Bitcoin or possibly some Bitcoin 2.0 projects...but the funding is just not there right now. So far the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive but it has yet to go fully viral within the Bitcoin community. Any suggestions? I believe for your music video to go viral (outside of the Bitcoin community being more important here) it needs some kickass visuals. I don't think there's any getting around it, that's just the way it is in this day and age. To keep costs down I suppose you could use a mix of static images and video. The Bitcoin community would definitely benefit from something like this going viral. The youth of today are primed for Bitcoin, they have money and are tech savvy, we just need to show them the door and music is perhaps the world's most powerful medium of communication.
