1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 02:16:11 PM
A player who maintains a dedicated bankroll will be disciplined. It takes lots of discipline to keep on gambling on a dedicated amount. Most people get carried away, in the process, when they win. But a gambler who keeps up with 10% of his salary should deal with his wins as an added funds to deal with days he's feeling like gambling more would be profitable. With his discipline he can save up the winnings for other days and wouldn't have any reason to spend or add another percent by taking out more money from his salary. Dedicated bankroll is among the safe or responsible gambling techniques, and if not kept in check the player would be doing himself no favor. It could affect him on the long run, where he'd want to increase his winnings by raising up the money he wagers. The wins he gets by managing a dedicated bankroll may not be interesting enough to some players, hence going for more is the only option. Personally, a dedicated bankroll is better than raising the amount, month to month.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a means to an end, Do it for fun and don't take it as a job on: January 13, 2024, 02:04:33 PM
Young people always think anything that promises money is work. Not surprised to read the funny line, where Op described this type of gamblers as working-class men who dress up early in the morning to escape traffic. Such gamblers may have won some funds while gambling, hence since it puts a food on their table they can do some more and earn bigger amount. However, while the gambler undergoes a daily routine gambling his brain begin to adjust to his action and soon, he wouldn't go a day without dressing up to go gamble. Even when he's got no funds, you'd notice him going to the gambling house, just to seat and chat with friends. As they tend to meet other gamblers like themselves who visits the place regularly. At same time gambling could be fun and a job to such people
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 13, 2024, 01:45:23 PM

Being in debt is stressful, people who owe money and are having a hassle paying back the debt, find it hard to concentrate in their endeavors. Gamblers, out of the stress and anxiety, would want to recover the lost money, hence they'll be able to payback. But due to the expenses in a man's daily activities, when the player wins, he'll find it hard to pay his debt. As he may have accumulated series of debts from different people and organizations. Gambling with loan is wrong. One needs to be sure of his moves before taking loan. Despite that it's not advisable to rely on loan in any activity we want to venture into. The addicted players may have gotten addicted to taking loan such that they will rarely gamble using their own money. The finances used for gambling now revolves around borrowed money.

Yes, sometimes we go into debt for something that is needed for the necessities of life alone makes us feel uncomfortable, especially if we make loans as an alternative to gambling when we run out of money then obviously this has the potential for new, worse habits and also the potential for much worse impacts to occur. Therefore, never try to take out a loan just to gamble, the fear is that you can get into the habit of doing that especially when you get a lot of losses in each session which of course later you will enter the scenario of borrowing money to chase the win and get the winnings to pay off debts, this scenario will never be completed and this is the beginning of someone who will fall into debt in the end. As you said earlier that if you take a loan because of an urgent situation for other things such as your life needs I think it's normal because that's one of the benefits of why there is a loan, but if you borrow only for something that never has certainty and guarantee for a return such as gambling then obviously it is a ridiculous action and decision, only one thing to worry about is that you can experience debt problems that can make you depressed.

A gambler in debt doesn't have a complete fun after winning, because he'd feel he'd have to refund the won money back to the person he's owing. Along the line, he'd be getting different thoughts on what to do with the money, whether to gamble some more or just clear his debt. Paying back leaves the player broke again, hence he'd definitely gamble again to recover enough money to clear his debt and have remaining money. If the outcome doesn't equate the amount the gambler is looking to gain, he's most likely going to borrow some money again to meet his goals, while in debt. All the trouble he'd go through, can make the player depressed in the process, as he wouldn't understand what's actually happening with him. Most people who gambled with borrowed money didn't earn enough winnings to repay their debt.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: January 13, 2024, 01:33:40 PM
This requires little skill and huge luck.

It isn't about stats because he was betting against the usual stats of a player, but a win is a win, actually a big win.
As for me, I doubt I would be able to risk $18 for that bet builder with x1000 odds, that's too risky, but the winner here , he got some balls to to take a high risk bet and it paid off.

We are just jelous now bro, hehe.. but we cannot win if we don't follow the winner's patch.

Agree with you mate its all about  some accurate skills, high understanding and huge luck cause this is a really  big jackpot as we all know $18k or 1 million php is quiet huge amount of winning and all I can say is that wow he made it.  Even though it's to risky but still he believes that the team he put his bet will and then he will won also a huge amount now for sure he is celebrating his winning. Anyways if we are too lucky then we can make things impossible to happen with us but if we are too unlucky then we will loss. So in gambling luck is the key to victory.

It's luck and he's been gambling for quite a long time to be able to take the risk with a minimal amount and win huge. Gamblers who follow same routine can win, depending on if they're meant to win that day. Because if a player begins to try some other person's prediction, he could be missing out on what is there for him to win in the game. I don't commend gamblers who think they can get to millionaire stage because a friend of theirs did it. There are some behaviors people show in respect to the success of a friend. Especially in gambling, most problem gamblers didn't follow their instinct, they only gamble to win like some other players. Gamblers have their chances of winning a game some day.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 13, 2024, 01:19:11 PM
At the beginning itself try to understand well and set your limits. Beyond the limits, you'll keep running to recover what you've lost in the past. In the beginning we'll experience good luck and I don't know whether it is happening naturally or this is some sort of technique. By the time newbie gamblers easily gets attached to the gambling and they don't accept what the fellow gamblers say.

Setting a gambling limit and bankroll limit are precautionary measures not to over gamble and stake to avoid regrets afterwards in the game you have bet on. As a newbie gambler you must learn the bankroll management rope so that you don't fall out early in the gambling journey because when you start losing so much in the beginning, that will discourage you from continuing. Therefore, a gambler who doesn't take charge of risk appetite but only eager to only look at profit to be made, it won't be a good gambling experience.

Newbies other than being conversant with bankroll management would need a coach present to guide them on the actions and decisions to follow while gambling. Because a newbie who gambles all by himself can get lost after winning some funds, that he'll forget about the bankroll management tricks or strategies. I'd suggest the coach should be in control of the funds for the newbie, such that he won't think of going more than he has planned to go that day. When a gambler begins to experience wins at the early stage, he's more likely going to spend extra time gambling, as he trusts his guts of winning some funds gambling. So, being naive isn't a great option for new gamblers, they need some guidance around to take them across this tough game of mind.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 13, 2024, 01:08:41 PM
Good for you that you were able to control yourself from continuing to gamble after winning a huge amount. Most of the time, once gamblers hit a big win they will decide to continue more since the luck is there and they want to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, since they are being carried away by the win they don't notice that their balance is now being pulled down. As they now finally notice it, they will increase their bet amount since they want to return the high balance they have previously.

It's hard to fight the temptation when winning that's why we must force ourselves to stop once already hit a big win.
it all depends on how we have a safe mindset for gambling. I mean if we have a mindset of not being greedy and appreciating whatever we get right away, a gambler will definitely easily stop betting after winning and this also applies to if he gets tired when a gambler can think like when he loses he will definitely soon stopping to appreciate the budget he had for betting the next day.
this kind of mindset can save gamblers from focusing too much on a big win and avoiding greed because the mindset of respecting money means they will really be able to have strong enough control and even a high level of commitment to obey the rules that have been made previously and can always know when is the right time to stop betting.

Indeed, temptation in gambling can always make us lose control, but believe me what I have said above, this can prevent you from any temptation in gambling because you already have a strong commitment.

The orientation of a gambler plays a huge role in the person's action when he losses or wins a game. Those who can't control the desire to stake another money after winning, may have a better luck of winning. But it differs from one gambler to another. People even after spending all their winning, still ends up winning again almost same amount. A gambler who has experienced this or have spent time with other gamblers who do this, will definitely gamble his winning hoping for a bigger win. Though it hardly works the way we think, anything can happen. It's quite a rough day if a gambler loss all his winning. He'd have to deal with it and learn from the mistake. The mistake of staking higher amount than they once planned previously before winning.
1087  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 12:48:04 PM
There are multiple factors why a gambler needs to stop and try again next time. It's normal to stop gambling, we can't keep gambling without taking some rest. We all can get tired. Op is only concerned about those who find it difficult to stop even when on a series of losses. Whether a player is not quitting after losing lots of his money, he can still be on a good shape of gambling. It's their decision and not everyone do the same thing every day. A lot of gamblers have found themselves in a condition where they can't help but continue gambling, due to unique reasons. Many gamblers after the experience cautions themselves not to repeat same mistake again. So, what Op just said is mainly for those who repeat the same mistake over and over. Not knowing how to stop is the main problem. We all know when to stop, after exhausting the money.
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 13, 2024, 12:29:50 PM
you are right, the purpose of influencers to post casino promotional reviews is because they have entered into a work contract with the company to promote their casino and increase the casino's reputation, so after the promotional work contract has been agreed with the company, they must carry out the task of making review posts to attract the interest of visitors, they make reviews are not based on real analysis of that casino, they fabricate fake reviews with convincing writing techniques to deceive visitors on casino review sites.

However, they (influencers) aim for promotion, so of course what they share with their followers are only good things related to the casinos being reviewed. Their goal is clear, regardless of whether in the review they share tips on how to use the casino well or share the risks of casino games. still, influencers are paid for the promotion of their casino products. There is nothing wrong with that, after all, they work in a paid casino. they cannot discredit the product they are promoting by talking about its shortcomings. however honest influencer behavior is required. it's not about losing or winning but talking honestly about the platform.

The behavior depends on the intentions of the casino, influencers only receive instructions from the casino. If an influencer is deceiving his followers with fabricated reviews maybe the brand or casino, he's working for is comfortable with him, the influencer, posting fake reviews. Although most people do this because sharing unrealistic bonuses can fetch people to play games with the casino. And the type of deal they've got with the casino also determines the action the influencer exhibits. If he's paid based on the number of people that plays through his link, then he would do anything to attract his followers to gamble with the casino. But, if the casino is paying for advertising on the person's page, I don't think the influencer would do something else other than the instructions of the casino.
1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: January 12, 2024, 10:25:26 AM
Going back for more when we are winning is caused by the impulses winning triggers to the brain. Gamblers who are experienced and have significant amount of skills to win in a two-man game will look out for more gamblers to compete with and win money. This helps the gambler to improve his skills, hence increasing his possibilities of often winning in the game. Aside such games gamblers solely depend on luck in games like slot. Because it requires not skills, it's a matter of understanding how the slot machine works. The necessary techniques needed to win and maintain earning. Skilled players in poker sometimes depend on luck, a newbie can win a pro in the game depending on the cards of the professional player. Gambling needs luck, the skills are secondary means of enhancing the winning process.

I agree with you, slot games don't require good skills to be able to play them, just understand how the slot machine works like you said, and also in this game, in my opinion, its greatness only relies on luck which will determine whether you win or not, but even so So there will be times when we have to have a strategy, what I mean by strategy is, know when to stop because most people who gamble on slots do it excessively.

It's true what you said that gambling requires luck, and having skills is a way to increase your chances of winning, and not all gambling requires skill to be able to play it, there are some gambling that rely entirely on luck.

I'm curious about loss not being an offspring of luck. Only those who win are considered lucky, and a loser doesn't find himself lucky for losing. It's a matter of choice. The way we react towards our gambling results is also a skill that could help a gambler to win. However, no accurate technique or strategy ever is available that could guarantee a gambler would win a game. In terms of winning or losing gambling is based on luck. The skills also have its fair share of credits it adds in facilitating the wins of a gambler. But from the look of things a gambler only has the ability to control how he wins or lose. A skill that regulates if a gambler loss so much or wins a lot. Luck doesn't go to the winner alone, sometimes he'd lose for another person to win.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 12, 2024, 10:16:26 AM
It is bad that some people divide people into categories. Mentally unstable or mentally stable. What next? Use skin color to determine who is allowed to gamble or not? There is no obvious connection between two examples, but the wind blows from that side. Everyone should be allowed to gamble. If mentally unstable person knows the rules, why should not he be allowed to use his money the way he wants. Should casino or dealer treat him differently? No. Should they try to get any kind of advantage due to gamblers mental instability? Absolutely not. Should mentally unstable gambler ask or demand for special attention because of his condition? Also no. When both parties do everything under the rules, there is never a problem.

Discrimination is wrong, especially when the person has done no bad to the society. Being in a bad shape or wearing some dirty clothes doesn't mean a person is mentally disabled. Some of the factors used in the OP in describing a mentally disordered person, isn't enough in determining if a person is mentally ill or not. Whoever visits the casino and destroys a machine or yell at random people, regardless of his diamond chains and watches he's wearing, is mentally ill and will be thrown out of the casino, immediately. Such players don't need to be reminded that the gambling house is not for them, even in their next days of visiting the casino he'd be bounced out. But anybody who respects himself and controls his reactions while gambling, not minding his cheap clothes, is a responsible gambler and should be respected.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 12, 2024, 10:07:06 AM
I don't think there is any safer one in gambling, whether online or offline,it's still gambling, and all of them requires you to use money to stake them,I guess the question should have been, which one among the two is more preferable? In that case,I would choose the online gambling because it saves one time to go out to queue up infront of a Cassino, to play a game, online gambling gives you the ability to be able to cash out your game quickly when you feel that it's about to cut.But one  thing I don't like about online gambling is that if you don't have self control, you'll always be tempted to deposit money into your bet account, and this is very draining because your main account is linked to your bet account which makes you get access to your money easily.
That was the point of the OP, in both physical and online casinos the odds of the games should be similar, and while on an online casino the minimum bet should be way lower, the games are also many times faster and you could even gamble many different games at the same time, something that you cannot really do at a physical casino.

Also while you are gambling online you have access to all your money that is in digital form and this could facilitate a bad decision on your part, while when gambling at a physical casino if you were to leave your debit, credit cards and phone at home, you will be limited by the cash you can carry with you, so physical casinos should be relatively safer than their online counterparts, albeit not by much.

Staying close to whatever activity you love could get one addicted to it. Having the online casino in our palms can facilitate the urge of gambling on the player compared to an offline casino, that requires a gambler to think about many factors like transportation, hotel bills, drinks etc. Those thoughts are able to minimize the time a player spends thinking about casino. The online casino, with all the portability, availability, and comfortability, leads gamblers to loss of control. Whenever money gets to the person, he can simply login his account and gamble. While in offline casino the players would have to change his mind, due to the other factors which he may not be bouyant to pay, unless he's sleeping in his car close to the casino. He's also pass through hunger, while staying in his car.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: January 12, 2024, 09:55:13 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?
It depends on the kind of loneliness you are talking about because I don't think there is a connection between loneliness and gambling, although loneliness can result to other things but I don't think it could result to gambling on less you have interest on gambling, however one of the stuff that result or makes someone to start gambling is being jobless and at that moment you are vulnerable to anything that can easily Fitch money for you and perhaps gambling will be the only solution so that's one of the things that makes someone to join gambling easily.

Loneliness can also push a person to gamble, hoping to get some fun and associate with people. However, he must be aware of gambling before venturing into it. Maybe he's been engaging in gambling discussion with friends, then when his life became lonely, he'll have to practice those things he has on his memory. Same applies to other utilities people may begin to indulge into once they're lonely, some could be video games, or walking. And a lonely person doesn't mean he's unemployed. Employed lonely people are gambling addicts, too. Being jobless contributes as you said, but basically, it's mainly about what the person has in mind. A jobless person who is not lonely may not remember to participate in activities like gambling, because he'd be discouraged by the people around him. Loneliness is a situation where the person has nobody to share his thoughts and decisions to help them know about the view of others regarding the issues. He takes actions based on his decisions alone, hence once they've thought about gambling, nobody would be there to coach or moderate them.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 12, 2024, 09:42:02 AM
As the gambling expert in the rehab center, I would stress how important it is to understand the patient's current position and how their gambling is hurting them. It's important to note that the idea of a good game system is hard to come by because the odds are always in favor of the house. To get the patient to change his mind, I would stress how unpredictable gambling results are and how likely it is that he will lose money in the long run. In addition, I would tell them to look into other activities that will make them happy and keep their mind off of their compulsive desire to bet. It's important to help the patient get a realistic picture of the risks of gambling and picture a healthier, more balanced life without depending on the random outcomes of games of chance.
Rehab centers are known as drug addiction treatment centers and provide treatment to drug addicts.  However, no one can guarantee how effective rehab centers are for gambling addicts. A lot of mental torture is done in rehab centers so when someone comes out of rehab they are almost half crazy. Because of this, many people do not like rehab.  And I don't think rehab is necessary for gambling addicts. Strict family supervision is sufficient for this

A gambling addict is quite in a deeper stage of addiction compared to a drug addict. But they're close to being similar in form of the processes one may get addicted participating in these activities. Attaching a gambling addict to a rehab center meant for healing drug addicts, he could get better due to the absence of his gadgets. Within the period he's on rehab, he wouldn't gamble, it will easily allow the person to get used to some other activities like sports, research, reading and writing. Both addictions are mentally connected, hence the rehab can be useful in reviving a gambling addict, before he gets to therapy. Don't know about the torture, rehab should be a peaceful and quiet environment for addicted people.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 12, 2024, 09:27:53 AM
Newbie advice is quite numerous that the gambler may not be capable of remembering them all. A player who once read before joining gambling that it is not profitable enough to see gambling as a side hustle. Could someday begin to experience similar reasons why such an advice was released for newbie gamblers. He knows about the warning, yet have not experienced it, to identify if he's capable of controlling himself towards it. A person who is aware of the problems lack of control could cause to a gambler, still begin to gamble and losses his control. Experiencing it is quite different from theoretically knowing about gambling. Though it helps to remind them about this, but it's not 100% accurate that it works in stopping newbies from chasing losses.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: January 11, 2024, 11:48:46 PM
there are still many who can't understand and play it correctly, because maybe they think they're right with the goal of winning, even though what is clear is that the results cannot be predicted, right? ?
Sometimes people play a lot for fun but have no control over the time and amount of bets, this is wrong and will lead them to experience bad things in their lives later. Therefore, in playing gambling well, you don't need to overdo your pursuit of victory, especially considering that gambling can make a lot of money, which is a wrong idea.
That's because they have a goal to win the gambling game, so they have difficulty stopping gambling, and their intention to stop gambling will just disappear. Moreover, if they can win, they will intend to continue gambling again to get another win. They don't realize that it will pose a greater risk, especially if they have already won, but instead want to go back to gambling again. People who have a lot of time and spend gambling will slowly experience problems that they might not have expected. They don't think they will get a problem like that, so they can't solve it. They just think that gambling can get rid of the problem even though it doesn't. We must prevent ourselves from gambling again, especially when we have won, to avoid greater risks.
And what it is even worse is that in their minds their actions make sense, which can be infuriating for those that may want to help them to stop, because if they were able to find a way to beat the casinos then the more they gamble the higher the chances of winning, but it turns out that the majority of the methods a gambler may develop to beat the casinos do not work, and they will only find out this is the case after they have lost a lot of money when using all of those methods.

Saving an addicted player who can't stop gambling easily, requires lots of time and duration. Addiction is like a chronic disease, which the victim needs adequate socialization to escape it. Due to the time, it may take, quitting addiction is hard to achieve. Some families would help their addicted ward to some extent and get tired along the line. Due to the amount of time and funds required to change that person. So, the family wouldn't be of help to the player, completely. His attention is to be needed for the services and he'd come home to rest. The technique the player should hold on to, is the ideas to say Well-done sir. No need making up strategies for winning. If the player gets to realize that, he may not be comfortable participating on strange casino.
1096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: January 11, 2024, 11:33:23 PM

Regrets is same with living in the past. Those who regret a lot miss out on what is to come in future. Their urge to gamble and replace their thoughts or stop regretting only pushes them to make mistakes. Which increases the rate the gamblers thinks of himself not being competent enough in gambling. However, the brain gets disturb a lot and wouldn't perform well as expected, because the gambler keeps blaming himself and others for his troubles. The human brain needs to be left alone to focus, else it'll not deliver our emotions with those things that interests us, as gamblers. Hence, regretting is only not a sign of being a responsible gambler, but shows lack of experience. Those who have been having losses in gambling don't have need to regret as it's now a part of them and they are aware some days the result would turn around in their favor. Redirecting the thought helps a lot in energizing the gambler to make better decisions.

In this order of ideas, what applies will always work: having money willing to lose, because in this way it is lost because it leaves the enjoyment, the enjoyment, the things that were done during the game and that is what matters, because it was lost but it remains. the money for all the commitments to fulfill and that is what is important, when things are taken away, the rules change because everything changes, the problems begin, the people who can do everything have to resort to making loans, then they will adopt a debt in which they had not planned, causes regrets because in some way the basic things should not be missing, that is what you should think about, having the responsibility for all these things.

Same people have a million and one reasons not to accept their mistakes. That's why they would blame somebody else for their problems and disputes. That's why when introducing anyone to gambling, it's better to remind them that it's at owner's risk. The player wouldn't mind but calm down for minutes to rethink of his future thoughts or actions. They'll have nothing against their friend or distant relative who introduced them into gambling, because they were warned. Regrets affects the productivity of a businessman. It's advisable the gambler makes his plans of regretting his gambling behavior than blame it on somebody else who don't regret like the first mentioned. Fustration helps the person to think about his troubles during the day.
1097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 11, 2024, 11:18:00 PM
snip
I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
The more often you gamble the closer you are to winning!!! This is a sentence that will lead you to become addicted to gambling.

There are people who gamble once a week or even once a month but they succeed in getting big money because they are lucky and get the jackpot.  i have also seen how people who have great skills in poker are not able to win every day...  What causes this? that's because the human brain needs rest, when we force our brain to work, especially continuing to gamble, fatigue will appear and usually, fatigue will only lead us to make the wrong decision.

Don't force yourself to gamble as often as possible, even every day, giving it a break is the best way to avoid fatigue.

Repeating gambling each for a very long time can get one addicted to gambling, but in abstract form; one could be addicted to knowing qualities needed to run a gamble business, another is so bothered about getting money that he'll use to spend on utilities of his choice. Having months off on gambling is a better therapy for players who gamble every day. Cooling down, for instance, all the requests the cashier in your bank process each day, would do him a greater favor in his means of generating more fund. Winning can appear randomly for individual gamblers. Sometimes they'll be under no valuable control of the source of the game. Gamblers who don't have ways of livelihood, end up feeling anxious. What we see leads us to gamble.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 11, 2024, 10:59:35 PM
Online because no one's going to push you to gamble more but only yourself. That's the safest reduction of risk when you're alone at home.
It is what I think is right because if you're offline and that tends to be the actual physical casino, you've probably deal with some stranger that might tell you to push your luck harder.
Is it being alone would be impsosing such risks because theres no one could stop you out on spending money on the time that you would really be finding yourself that addicted?
This is why i do said earlier that no matter on what are the things that we are dealing with, there's no good when it comes into gambling not unless if you are really just that playing for fun
but if you are playing the other way around then you are really just that basically putting up yourself on such trouble and this is something that i dont really like.
You are putting up yourself on such risks when you do play gambling on trying out to chase that being profitable on which this is something that could really make things
messy.
You're and that's why it is only you that will make the decisions and if you choose the safer side, that's you that have made it and not someone.
And as for pushing you to gamble more, it is also you whenever you feel that you have to do it, that's how it is going to be.
You gamble for money, fame or profit, they're all the same even if you do it for fun. Because the process will not change for any of those reasons.

OfCourse nothing changes in gambling, the strategies work in different ways to maintain the behavior of the human. If the game doesn't change, the player changes. The result of the player's change of behavior is always wrong and bad. Thereby affecting the society of the addict. All these things happen to the players and they'll lose control according to the body responses. Who cares about the software used in running the game. It's automated. Humans only suffer the changes in the process. An offline casino player could get more players to engage on his problem gambling. But an online gambler can be left out in his room wondering who to share his problems. They both have Pros and cons in regards to the gambler.

Perhaps, but for me if I won, I might buy something like a car or house but it's not about to show my winnings, it's about having put my winnings into a good used, sort of a investment as you can provide it to your family specially a good house for your kids to grow up. So I'm not thinking of being arrogant or something, it's just who am I. And I don't think that there is something wrong with buying thing with your winnings. Before I also buy stuff like mobile phones and laptops with my winnings for good used. Who knows, maybe the next time you will not be as lucky to win that kind of money so also take advantage of it and buy your winnings of something that you can get a good result in the future.
Using your winnings to make a profit is certainly very good because you have used the winnings that you have obtained wisely. If you use your winnings for momentary pleasure, of course this is very detrimental because it is very difficult to win in gambling.
If we can't use our winnings well, of course when we gamble again we still have to spend money from the income we have, but if we use the winnings on things that can make money, of course it won't be difficult if we want to gamble because we already have the money we get from the goods we have bought from the win.

It's better to get a utility that interest you than spending the winnings on gambling. Purchasing a set of TV as a gift for winning his predictions would help him to perform better in gambling. What people would do with the winnings differs, but we've gotten cases of gamblers who sends it back to house, believing the house owns all their wins. The money they earn only could be used to buy them more time to continue enjoying gambling. Such people are so glued to gambling that nothing would interest them if not gambling. And not all of the people in this category undergo addiction. If a player already has all the gadgets he'd need, investing the money would be a better decision. Having a bigger bankroll, we'll tend to gambling without calculating, because the money is quite enormous.

It cannot be forced out of them, but a person who notices his friend or relation behavior changed for the worse, can try different techniques to cure the person. The major issue is not being able to find out of his addiction. Once that's unveiled the relative would be able to look into the trouble. When the gambler has decided to hide his addiction, healing will not be achieved, because you can't threat what you don't know about. Those who find it hard to change a person even after finding out that the person is into gambling addiction, hardly engage in conversations with the addict. The brain easily changes towards what a person thinks. As you said about the child's environment, he thinks like his environment. Hence, if the people around him discuss about gambling or practice it the child will someday begin to gamble. Same applies to the relevance of having conversation on other utilities that may interest the addict, given time he'll begin to think about the activity until his full concentration on gambling begins to reduce.

I think most likely the people closest to him will definitely realize that one of his relatives or friends has a problem wIth gambling because they have a relationship that can be said to be very close so it is possible for them to be able to know about what their closest person is experiencing, in my opinion one of the things that can be done and quite recommended is to always invite the person to do many other activities such as maybe playing, vacationing or other things such as taking care of the fields behind the house if they have a large land, But on the other hand it also depends on whether the people around him really know about the problems that the person is suffering or not, sometimes even though we have a very close relationship it cannot be denied that there is something we never know about what they are really experiencing, so if they absolutely cannot get information about the problems suffered by their friends then of course there will be no action they will take because they think that their friends are fine. Basically, gambling addiction will be easier to overcome when there is openness and recognition and along with the desire for change from the addicted person.

The addict most times doesn't feel comfortable bothering people about his trouble. He also worries about the type of help his friends would render to him. Would it be effective or not. Since helping themselves out of the trouble seems impossible. What then can his friends do to help him. These are some questions they begin to ask themselves. On the long run while still undergoing the dilemma the addict continues to gamble compulsively. Nothing has been done to change him, and he's not ready to open up. Such a person would have his family to spend more than usual. Hence, it's important for a gambler to stay around people in same house who would keep his brain active on other news happening in the country or town. It can remove few minutes of his attention to the recent news in his country. Once the new thought has been added successful to the memory of the addict. If they enjoy such discussions, a relative should feed them with it until they begin to love researching for news and information.
