I knew it was a scam ever since they started accepting "investors". No legitimate site would do that.
What do you think about PRC? Looks reliable, been there since a long time and the guy running made his name public (you can find his linkedin profile easiy) Are you being serious? You have the site's signature already. Just posting this to get more traffic on site? My Concern is that after DB I can't trust my investments. If I invest around 1 BTC then after site increases 1 BTC in profit , I just get 0.001. So Overall investing 3 BTC at prc I have been in loss. But even if I become profitabl its only 0.01 max over a month. And its better to invest the money in bank or just gamble that amount. |

I just looked up the bet ID 9070610 that Dean posted. I have played a lot on prc and never had such issue before. But even for me I don't see that bet in the high roller tab . Seems it should be below Battlr's bet in the HR tab but it is not there.
This is indeed fishy for me and have divested for now until Dean fixes it.
I don't see why this is fishy. It has been reported by a couple of people now. This is clearly a bug and I have to now just work out why that's not loading after I restarted the server. It showed fine in the list before that and everyone in chat seen it. This is obviously related to finniles original report but certainly nothing suspect or malicious is going on. I'm going to look into this now and once fixed you should see it. Provided there has not been 50 bets of >=0.1btc since. The fishy part is that the largest bet does not show as pointed out by user finnile. My investment did go up today so not complaining. But you should fix it. I just restarted and it shows fine now. There must be an issue with a restart, possibly when there's still a lot of people trying to do things. From now on I will take the site totally offline and start up before anyone else can visit until I work out why. Just means the restarts may take a few minutes longer. Thank You It appears fine now. I think morally you should also pay finnile for pointing it out. Even though 1 BTC might be high but you should still pay him. Seems he pointed out 2 bugs for you. |

I am still curious to as why the site is still functional.
It seems they have no BTC in their wallets, and are just showing an investment of 1100 BTC to attract other players unaware of the scam. This would lead to those new player being scammed. For this reason the site should be shut down.

It was good that someone caught the scam. Otherwise it would have continue to happen. Even though it was benefitting the investors and manl(from commision) the gambler's were getting f***ed over this.

I got into VIA when I saw that Treechains might be a key feature. Yes, VIA is super fast but I don't see any coin taking over from btc anytime soon. BTC is way, way ahead even though it has some problems. Maybe coins can share some of the space but I don't believe any single coin will dominate other than btc. I guess regulation and some sort of bridging with FIAT will have to be agreed so as to gain greater adoption. I do believe that collaboration and some degree of integration with existing systems is the future and, for alt coins, it's going to be about providing innovation in platform 2.0 development. If Maidsafe, as an example, gets off the ground and works, any coin using that network will automatically be anonymous or do I have it all wrong? Why all the fuss about anon? If VIA comes up with a platform that allows "apps" to be "installed" which use only small amounts of the VIA blockchain and can do the rest on "chains" it will be doing things BTC can not ( will not? ) do and, again, maybe I have it all wrong, but if VIA runs on Maidsafe or Etherium, isn't it win win? VIA has Peter Todd contributing and VIA has a clean record. I posted earlier to ask if VIA aims to be a stand alone or collaborate with other projects and what came out of meeting with Peter Todd. Innovations on this coin look good so far.  The main reason why BTC is still ahead is that it is held by everyone and cannot be manipulated so easily. |
