1081  Economy / Services / Re: LetItRide Signature campaign. CLOSED FOR NEW MEMBERS on: August 20, 2016, 06:09:39 PM
This campaign is now closed until we find a decent and willing campaign manager. Anyone who is not wearing the signature or has red trust will not be paid. Counting starts now.

Haha , Great time you have chosen to count the posts when everyone has removed the signature with the threat to get red trust and those wear would sure be having a Red Trust.

So No payment for anyone...

the chosen count day was always every other saturday.
everyone ecxept one person removed their signature.
that one person will be paid around triple pay  Grin

Thats the Lucky Guy who stick with the Campaign in crisis. but all other person has also worked hard and should be rewarded. See the post below. there are so many other who want their pay for the work

Have decided to since leave. Getting neg rating over being in campaign is not to my taste or my reputation. Leaving as of today 13th Aug 2016

Who is the manager now that the other manager quit under the pressure.

There is no manager for this campaign now as this has ended. People are not being paid for he last two weeks and dev has made 430BTC profit during the ICO and now left LIR. You can see price of coin moving down very fast at yobit.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 20, 2016, 03:45:10 PM
Well if you’re receiving payment in Bitcoin for your job then you shouldn’t really be concerned if the value doesn’t drop below the initial value it was at when you started getting paid. For example, when I started working 1 BTC was $400; and I got paid 0.1BTC per day; I keep getting paid that much everyday but in fact my pay increase because today I get at the rate of 1BTC = $650. So alls good 
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halvening on: August 20, 2016, 03:32:07 PM
The halving will take its effect in the next few months or years. The price will rise due to the reduced supply.
The supply is not reduced. It increases toward 21 million with every block.

The daily supply of the new coins are reduced, or you can say the rate of the new bitcoin growth reduces.

I see that you have a full understanding, but "daily supply" is a poor term because the supply of bitcoins each day includes all bitcoins in existence, and not just the ones produced that day.

"Production" is a better term than "supply of the new coins" because it is more accurate and accepted, and it isn't as confusing.

That is right. When the bitcoin price rises, some holders will be attracted to sell their coins, that will increase the circulation.

It  actually reach $650; in any case it should at least be double to what the miners where earning before. And yea it shouldn’t be much of concern if the pay rate is still the same; but if it goes to around $900 I bet that actually compensates for the halving and the mining difficulty.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: August 20, 2016, 03:27:15 PM
It all depends on the supply and demand of the bitcoin that determines its price, if theres a sustainable balance between the two; the value of bitcoin will continue to rise, especially after the halving event as you look at the statistics of the last halving scenario.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: 626 $ what!?!? Halving incoming.. on: August 20, 2016, 03:25:06 PM
It thrilling at the same time quite scary; im just looking at this value everyday and wonder whether I should sell now or later; I really want to get the most out of my bitcoin. Though I worry more about the mining sector; will they be satisfied with the value and would they continue mining if its not satisfying?
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: August 20, 2016, 03:23:41 PM
The OP says he wants to retire in 20years, not hold his bitcoin for 20years Cheesy We also need to take into account the halving situations every 4 years. That being the case, and following the trend; the value of bitcoin should increase in value 5 times till he retires; by that time 1 BTC could probably be $1000 - $1200; not really that bad but im not so sure about the miners. For retirement though 3000BTC should be quite nice.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: August 20, 2016, 03:19:31 PM
Well I think that a cashless world happening wouldn't be possible for now. I think it wouldn't be possible for now because many people uses paper cash to pay for services and goods.

Yeah that's right many people didn't know about bitcoin so it's hard as of now to replace physical currency with digital (bitcoin). But, i think that there is a possibility that bitcoin will be use as main currency if many people will get into bitcoin so the bitcoin will attract more people and bitcoin will be more famous than before.

Let’s look at Botswana; this is a country in Africa and it’s where I’m currently living. Right now, the mostly used way to access the internet is through mobile service providers and its costs at least $3 for 150MB data plan; that’s the cheapest I’ve found by the way. For someone new to this country to start getting bitcoin and getting profit would be quite difficult. If there were companies offering bitcoin as payment, then it would be a much better scenario along with the improvement of internet provision.
1091  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 03:10:07 PM
It would be too risky to quit your job but it would be good for you if you would make use of bitcoin too.
Yeah! it is true that quitting our job is too risky as we might not succeed in focusing with bitcoin. Our job provides us a stable and consistent income while in bitcoin we might lose our money, that's the big difference for everyone who wish to go full time with bitcoin.

There are many people who are full time in bitcoin especially the traders who are making good money with it but to get full time on bitcoin you also need high capital to invest at initial stage.
yeah though it is risky to be a trader at the moment, in my opinion they never can earn any steady income unfortunately

Being a trader, yes  you can go full time but the income is not guaranteed for everyday profits. Trading is a good way of source of income but it depends on how you trade the outcome would result in your  trading skills and decision making. Quiting your day job just to go fulltime in bitcoin is a very risky thing to do.
To be successful in trading, you need a lot of experience and knowledge in it. It cannot be done in a day. So before you quit your job to do trading, be sure you are already well versed in trading and can sustain an income. Otherwise, do it both so can have an income while mastering trading.
I think its better to earn from both of them as depending only on bitcoin can be risky, price may go very low in future and that will result in low income which may not take care of our expenses.
Better to be safe than sorry because bitcoin is just new to our life and it could not last for long. Just enjoy the moment and get the opportunity to earn while bitcoin's economy is so successful, let us do support bitcoin as it can also give us a good income when it succeeds more.

Also, You need to observe the bitcoin supply and demand rate to predict the right time to earn a great profit when you convert your BTC to Fiat. If you noticed, after the halving, the value of bitcoin reached above $700 but now its $570; those extra dollars missed actually count a lot.
1092  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 03:08:04 PM
I will sell it of course and that is because the value will also be much higher so that would be perfect for the most people with already Bitcoin but you need patience for it.
Or Bitcoin will be already the most used payment method in 20 years you never know.

Hopefully in the near future, most online transactions can be done using bitcoin. As of now, bitcoin is the only thing I use for online transactions; I wouldn’t need to convert it to fiat. Bitcoin for online, fiat for offline 

1096  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex has not contacted customers and informed them about the hack on: August 19, 2016, 05:41:06 PM
What worries me is that alot of people is back on Bitfinex depositing big quantities of Bitcoin there, or just in any exchange whatsoever. I understand that if you are a trader you must have BTC available in exchanges to make profit from quick market changes, but I would stop using Bitfinex and go somewhere else, even tho all centralized exchanges will eventually get MtGoxed.. there is no solution.

Well Bitfinex is the same as any other exchange. and there is always a risk. I think we should avoid depositing high amount of money in exchanges. and when your order get fulfill, remove it from the exchange immediately.
1097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitminer.io real or scam? on: August 19, 2016, 03:30:19 PM
better stay away from that site. i prefer join in other cloud mining rather than join for that site, especially if we need to download their software for start mining. because i already know and hear that there are cloud mining website that must download their software, and for last time i've heard, their software contains malicious virus.

Most of the Cloud mining sites are scam itself and should be avoided. Even if you download software be sure to scan it with a good anti-virus software to avoid any possible risk of virus.

1099  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Much A Developer Charge for Developing a Bitcoin Game on: August 18, 2016, 03:40:38 PM
Ignoring the comments above, I can say that developing a game is not easy, what you need is an HTML5 game which is supported by most of the browsers, then making a counter strike copy into a browser is not easy especially if you require to be multiplayer. A similar game which rewards its player is agario copy i think its named chopcoin or somethink like that so try to ask them how much do they require.

I can imagine making an high quality 3D game for browser is difficult. but I believe it is not impossible. a good and profissional developer can make it.(it costs lots of money, and that's what I want to know here)
and  we can create a separate platform for this bitcoin related game. like we can create a app or software like steam which can support these type of games and can play them in everyone's desktop.

and we create small type of games, like bubbles, shooting, arcade, racing which can be easily load and played on web browsers.

PS, I've search for Agar.io and Chopcoin games, these are not the type of games I am looking for but I'll try to contact the developer via their Contact page.

I don't think agario team will respond as they are pretty big now, they have also their ios and android app and the game is very complex on the backend, anyway I have seen the chopcoin.io owner here in forum, here is the thread and the user tiCeR https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1168533.0 ,it's not a game what you are looking for but the payment system can be similar to that.

I think OP is looking a game which involves 2 teams and the one winning will get bitcoins.  I think it is a good idea.

OP is also using his teamwork skills in the thread Wink and hopefully get a good developer for this site .
