If it's ever to go relatively mainstream then the price must rise by orders of magnitude for it to be usable by a significant number of people.
The last few months have been an amazing time to buy in. 12-18 months ago it still would've seemed like it could die at any moment. Fast forward to today and it's being backed by some serious investment, probably tens of thousands of extremely clever people and it's being discussed at the highest levels.
Despite all this, very few people in the world have any or truly understand what it is yet. That's a dreamlike combination for future growth but it will take a few years yet.
True indeed. Bitcoin and whole crypto market is just a baby yet. We need a lot of time to grow up this kid. |

If you expect to invest in something and get a huge profit straight away, you're going to have a bad time. If you threat bitcoin like an investitment not as cryptocurrency you might have bad time at all. Because to do so you need to be patient. And do not panic when price is droping. |

Im seriously wondering why this forum/site is so badly designed.Shouldnt bitcoin forum be one of the best designed sites on internet? With all the btc donated for this site? (navigation is bad looks ugly connection errors horrible page layout you name it) (not that I make websites but I seriously have a very good concept of what it should be)
Why you think it is badly designed? I think they develop it preety good. Because even if it is suffering 502 forum was never down for real. So ... maybe you are wrong |

LOL you invested, waited until it drops to the bottom and sold? Either you invest and hold for at least 6 months and see what happens, or you invest and keep finger on the trigger to sell immediately on the first sight of crash. Buying and selling at a loss is, most of the time, either due to the investor having panicked (sounds like it in this case!) or the investor having used money he couldn't lose and pulled out before potentially losing it all (again, sounds like our case). Either way, I would've held. Well yes. True question is how to invest into crypto and loose it all? It is quite interesting. Anyway Op seems to be hiding some secrets for later :-) |

We don't sweat the short term . no there is no sweat about the short term, but you can't deny the thought always crossing your mind that you could sell and buy back maybe 1.25 btc for each one that you sold... right? You right. But I just try to do not think like that. Because one good reason. It is worthess. Better just to keep doing what we are doing and there is no chance to always make best moves around crypto exchange. |

Now, when BTC is falling I find interesting that altcoins do not rise relatively to BTC.
But at the same time some altcoins like dogecoins didn't fall as hard like BTC or didn't even fall at all. right  Yes ... january was only good month for dogecoin. Rest of akts suffers drops |

well i was a dump  after 1 year ago it was , 2$ each. I don't think it will fail. i use a pool called : middlecoin.com I made a huge but i might do something else that this. My friend, you also need to make sure you know what you're going to be doing with the .6 btc. You are all over the place...help a friend, upgrade a rig, etc. Generaly here nobody will give you a trust. You must proff yourself. Good luck |
