I don't see how releasing the mainnet client would mix with the exchange selling IOU tokens. The mainnet would not interface with yobit or anyone else selling IOU's. There is no real network connected to the yobit waves market it is just a fictional wallet they opened with X amount of tokens. Depositing and withdrawing from them wont work. There is no deposit or withdraw options for the people buying wave tokens on yobit.
THIS, people need to learn to read, Sasha SAID: Yobit will not be getting full node source code. Maybe they are editing the whole codes just so yobit can't get any connection. I would damn do it too just to teach them a lesson. we know we can't move the token to our wallets right? a delay could earn waves the spotlight though. cause when users lose patience that's when it causes riot. |

IMHO lots of people are gonna walk away with money on the table. I'm guessing less than 100k sats it will be such big dumpers , coin will be less than ico price for sure! Yes. There is actually more intresting icos to invest so people will dump even with 2x profit to cash out Like what? doesn't seems to be anything i'd invest in decent ammount... just for participation, maybe 1-2 btc no more... Some people think Rise is interesting  Well, it is. All projects are intresting at the moment more or less in long term. I dont say that waves are not worth investing in or im not intrested in that. but im not expecting fast profit because it can hurr and actually slow steady natural grow is much better than fast pump and dump. For example Eth is still intresting and propably still worth investing into. there were always alot of coins around. waves is a one time chance. you can easily make more profit as selling at the release date, when there will be a high sell pressure. holding it 2 weeks will make a big difference in your pocket as taking fast profits. with lisk was the same Certainly another way to look at ICOs as opportunity to earn. I can appreciate that than messing up the threads by telling WAVES dev is just scamming us all. When in fact, the project can have the potential to be used by bitcointalk users. |

The box for Waves address appeared on ICO accounts, they say today will be the launch of the lite client and in the coming days the sending of Waves will start. This has been said and confirmed by Sasha himself so it's not some gossip or speculation.
So you're saying the waves address is going to appear inside the box I thought this was supposed to happen to days ago That's what i thought too. I've read it from the original thread of WAVES. waves have no substance, just scammer easy pocketing from morons missing lisk ico. waves crazy promises of paycoin and eth scam play book with no substance, all with bloatchain idea.
on trading day they will releasing little coins at a time just like lisk to prevent mass dump to 0.0000000 then say it was ddos, watch and learn.
here we go  if you've just bought thousands during the ICO, you wouldn't have to reply to all WAVES threads trashing everything. you still can buy this june 14 though. |

Does anybody have answer to this question: What is stopping an exchange like yobit to start trading real waves as soon as ico withdraws are processed? They won't have node code but they can manually do withdraws/deposits. Or am I wrong?
I mentioned that yesterday. The only thing stopping them might be having a proper wallet at their end, so this is going to be a very interesting launch if any exchanges allow trading. Anyone know about a wallet that can be used by an exchange as well? if yobit can't have the node nor wallet, i think it could be a reason for price to rise. possible? Drawback though is that if price is about $1+ this June 14, users will be dumping their coins hoping they can double their btc this halving. |

Halving still not come yet and the price still rising high. i agree to not sell my bitcoin at the cheap price like now and of course i will holding till see a nice price. Yeah, bitcoin is still darn cheap right now in my opinion. It would be stupid enough to sell your bitcoins right now when the halving is still 1 month away! We're looking at a bigger pump when it gets closer. We have already hit $590... Looking to break $600 very soon. yeh don't wait for its price to go 800 and buy. so while its still 500+ buy more or earn them right now as much as possible for once it goes beyond 1000USD. you'll find it harder to actually buy from someone. |

I have some waves whought it when the price is 0.02 each.. and looks like the price is dumping it..
This is why you should know what you are investing in. You just bought fake WAVES for several times the price. Perhaps you have learned a valuable lesson. ohno lol thats embarrassing. you are already here in bitcointalk you should have asked people here before jumping into it. it hasn't even made available to be moved to any wallet yet. |
