1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting against the Public, is this strategy working? on: January 18, 2023, 09:14:28 PM
There’s no wrong actually if you bet by following the majority especially if you have the same analysis with them, so you have to go along with them. However, if you think that betting against the public will be more profitable because there are better odds and you see higher chances of winning, then why not? After all, we don’t gamble to follow the norms, but definitely to entertain us and that will be a bonus already if we get lucky and won some bets.
That’s true, we should not always follow the crowd in betting we should have our own analysis and be more confident about it, there are gamblers who loves to bet against the odds simply because it is the result of their analysis. Going against the public might be a risk though since we all know they are the majority, so when it doubt try to analyze again and see if there will be changes, make no pressure on your betting activities.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC analysis today on: January 18, 2023, 08:59:59 PM
I have not watched the video because I know you are looking for views using the stupid clickbaits. If you want to post analysis or your ideas here, then go ahead and post screenshots of your analysis from trading view charts here too if you want proper engagement.
Ain't no way we are going to waste time watching trashy YouTube videos with ads and requests to using up in certain crypto exchanges using the author's referral links.
Exactly what I think too. Why redirect users to something that could easily have been explained here. I'm mindful of clicks this day because of malware, not even because it's a bait to make OP money. OP should put up a different method which must include an option of analysis of whatever that's contained in their shared video links. The video angle should be optional for those who care to watch.
There are good analysis posted here instead of posting a link and force us to watch it, I’m not sure if he’s a pro trader or just want to share his analysis with regards to Bitcoin price. The market is getting better right now but many wants to confirm its trend and see if Bitcoin can hold on this and go further, let’s see if OP will share a more constructive analysis here.
1103  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: NFT Minting Workshop – Pupunta ba kayo? on: January 18, 2023, 08:46:12 PM
Anyway, sana magkaroon pa sila ng other events sa ibat-ibang area, ok ren paren kase talaga if you can ask someone with regards to your concern especially if you are planning to mint nfts.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 17, 2023, 09:58:12 PM
They found potential in the crypto world including metaverse. Actually, there are a lot of institutions that are preparing for this adoption, and they will change the world definitely.
Exactly, what we can do right now is just to wait for their official announcement especially their timeline because if we only rely to rumors or hype then we might invest on a wrong project. There’s a lot of companies now showing their interest to metaverse, that’s a big news and that can spark the mass adoption, in time it will happen and bull market will start to boost that adoption.
Anyway, lesson learned na naman sa nakakarami, if its too good to be true alam mo na dapat kana magingat.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 14, 2023, 09:45:39 PM
This is not new anymore, this has been the problem since then and that is why airdrop is not good anymore and they are not paying that much, not unless a big project came in and they have a good plan for their platform. Bounties are still paying though with their own token, the only problem is the value of those token and its hard to if its worth it to participate or not at all. Always choose the best bounty, and know if they have a better future with their product or services, bounty is also a big risk to take and you should be more willing to accept it.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: "Prepare for defation in 2023" on: January 14, 2023, 09:34:45 PM
Doesn't seem likely for inflation to stop in in 2023 for two reason: The central banks has essentially accepted that a recession will happen therefore they haven't tried to ease interest rates to achieve a slow landing. They aggressively hiked interest rates and accept the potential recession as a result. Second -- the state of money printing nearly every country participated in back in 2020 saw the creation of more money than the world has ever seen. This does not solve itself within just a few years.
Recession is cyclical, and many government anticipate this already and yeah their solution is to increase the interest rates so people will not borrow that much and spend that much. Probably, the economy of many countries are already on a recovery phase as well and avoided a huge impact of a possible recession. With Bitcoin, this might be the safe have and probably we might see some good volume. The pump with Bitcoin recently is a good start, we might see more of this in the first quarter.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 14, 2023, 09:21:22 PM
Not all casino can afford to pay all of that money even though we all know that casinos always win against the gamblers. Maybe they have a plan to pay that woman like a decent amount of money that they pay to the woman until all the amount that the woman won is paid fully. I also agree that there could be some sort of issue there like what wiss19 explained. If there's something wrong of it or an issue then the casino is im big trouble and lose profit because of the error (if there's any). If nothing then they will get bad reputation for not paying the woman.
Whatever their reason is, they should not operate a business that they can’t handle and if they think they can’t afford yet to pay for a higher rewards, then better for them to set a limit on the winnings and by this, the gamblers will be more familiar about it and will not expect that much. Winning the jackpot is once in a lifetime opportunity, the gambling site should not make excuses and pay the reward, not unless the gambler violated their terms and conditions.
1109  Local / Pamilihan / Re: (FREE) PBA Finals Competition (guess the winner and the series score) on: January 14, 2023, 09:11:54 PM
Good luck para bukas guys, maganda itong naging contest natin kasi matagal ang result. hehe

By the way, sa mga hindi nakakaalam na andito lang sa local, ito pala ang betting spread bukas.

Ginebra -4.5
Bay Area Dragons +4.5

Bay Area should not be intimidated kung gusto talaga nilang manalo and with Ginebra kailangan lang nila maging consistent at panigurado malaki ang chance nila.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could be a bigger challenge when market force is low on: January 14, 2023, 01:14:09 PM
Roulette games alikes will never go out of business for online casinos but I still believe that video games are a big challenge for casinos, now that we have play to earn games is big not even a bigger challenge for casinos?

I know that play to earn isn't perfected yet, too many flaws with the tokenomics and stuff but if a better solution comes there might be less interest for online casinos, the only games that will keep them alive is Roulette and the oldies.
Play to earn games are not gambling though, because that is a sure profit while in gambling you will always depend on your luck.
I don't think this is a good comparison because they are both different, Roulette is a game of luck and we have this game since then.
If there's another surge for play to earn games then it can be good, you just need to consider how much you will invest with them and know your when is the ROI, again play to earn games is an investment while gambling is not.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair games are not fair on: January 14, 2023, 12:24:15 PM
I think a lot of people does not understand what the "provably fair" statement on many of these sites mean to them. In my opinion it only says that you as a gambler, can test each and every bet on their site to see if it was done correctly or not. It takes your Client seed and the Server seed and the Nonce and it reverse the process to show that the calculation for the result was valid.

You also have to consider other factors like the RTP and Variance .....so it is not as easy as it sounds to determine if the games are fair or not, if you do not have all those inputs. (The Server seed are hidden to protect the casino)
Some site already state this on their platform and you can know this as well because some site disclose this data.
Knowing the fairness of the site might be one of the concern of many, but I think if you are dealing with the top site some gambler already done their research about it and you can just read it but to make sure, you can also do the same thing. Some site are not honest though, they claim their fairness is good but when someone find out that they are not, that is the only time for them to address that issue of fairness.
1112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 14, 2023, 11:31:04 AM
wow, didn't know roobet had 20 years of history
that's quite cool, respectable

indeed no website is completely secure but as far as I know there was never any hack or data leak from roobet, right?
Probably they are a fiat casino before since they only launched Roobet here in the forum last 2019, so 20 years of existence might be a mixed gambling.
There's no issue about hacking or data leak so far with Roobet and even on the other site, top crypto gambling site seems to be more secured compare to exchanges. Security will always be the concern of every gambler, good thing with Roobet they are still safe as of the moment and hopefully in the future as well.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 14, 2023, 11:10:01 AM
I'm just thinking that there's a possibility that Ginebra will do that since it's come and passed into law the naturalization of Brown Lee but yeah, that's it and we'll see how loud the Phil.Arena tomorrow.
Believe me, Ginebra will use the same lineup in game 7.
If Brown Lee naturalized already, is this mean Ginebra can have another import?
Anyway, let's just focus on the game 7 and I'm sure many are already excited to watch the last game between this two top teams. With a help of the crowd, Ginebra will have a good advantage here. There's nothing wrong about the line-up of Ginebra, though they have to adjust right away if one of the key players are not playing well so the Bay Area will not have the chance to take a huge lead. Ginebra can win this one, let's all watch this game.
1114  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito?
Buti nalang talaga at medyo nagpigil ako that time na bumili lalo na nung nilabas nila yung rare set collection.

Very risky pang long-term holdings for sure.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How wrongful can this go? on: January 14, 2023, 08:40:17 AM
I don't like giving out my private information for any project or platforms online and I have no choice but to provide wrong personal details in order to maintain anonymity, how bad can this get if anything happens to the website system?

Is this a wrongful approach to online casinos that requires KYC? Or any of you have a better solution? There must be someone like me on here that have their ways around this. Share ideas if you can.
Giving out your false information might cause you a trouble in the future, better not to put too much money on that so your account still be safe from any investigation.
If you are not ok with the KYC better not to gamble on that site at all and just go to other option since there are still site that are KYC free. KYC is slowly becoming a thing now, most of the site already requires a general information and that can allow you to gamble already there might be a limitation but at least you can start gambling by just giving out your full name.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 13, 2023, 09:57:59 PM
This could be a big issue now with those collectibles, and probably they will just remain a collectibles and no one will buy it since its already exposed from a hacked. If the gambling addiction is the problem here, most probably he liquidated all hist assets and used other resources just to support his addiction, this is too bad for the whole collectibles industry, it will be hard to trust other again especially for the auction.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you calculate house edge...? on: January 13, 2023, 09:27:00 PM
...if it isn't stated by casino beforehand, and sometimes it's stated only for dice and not for other games (examples being card games, roulette, slots), in such cases how is it to be calculated?
There are some site that offers a free simulator to check the house edge, and also asking the support can make things a lot more simple since the site should disclose it for them to be trusted by the gamblers. I’m not sure though if all the gamblers really concern about the house edge especially if they are already playing with the top site, because honestly I’m not making any effort to know this with the top sites.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash still king? on: January 13, 2023, 09:16:54 PM
Slogans are never getting old but let's tidy up here: Is Dash still king?

It hasn't been shilled for some time now, which is very bad for Dash.
I can’t recall a moment that DASH leads the market, so this slogan is an old trick to fool people which I think they didn’t succeed on this one. I can’t see any good updates with DASH anymore, so probably that king statement is already outdated and can’t produce any hype anymore. Better to avoid this project as regulations continues making pressure to them, they are dropping that much.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 13, 2023, 08:59:13 PM
My Gambling activities will always depend on my budget since I’m not a regular gambler and I can’t afford to do this everyday, I should set-up my budget and know when to gambling. I missed a lot of promotions and bonuses but I think its fine as long as you have a different mindset and you know that gambling will always be there. Don’t chase such promotions or other things in gambling, play according to your timeline and just enjoy doing it.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 12, 2023, 09:33:30 PM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.
No, you need to sell your friend first. Your friend is just the same as you that doesn't have enough knowledge on when to sell. Binance has future in this space and just recently they just granted registration in Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and they're also acknowledged by other fifteen jurisdictions worldwide. Persuade me if they don't have a future.
Funny suggestion but a real one, your friend is just trying to create panic over you and that friend can’t be trusted when it comes to crypto investment. BNB is always a good choice, they already proven their worth and right now they remain the top exchange where you can transact crypto, that’s a good trust level that other exchanges can’t ever have. BNB is one of my holdings, the future is still bright and clear for BNB so take the risk.
