1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has satoshi just been found and raided on: December 10, 2015, 08:05:00 PM
No i don't think he is the real one like most of the people around this forum think. Although if this is true it wouldn't effect the bitcoin market anymore as now we more care about bitcoin and its adaptability rather than the inventor.
No i don't think he is the real one like most of the people around this forum think. Although if this is true it wouldn't effect the bitcoin market anymore as now we more care about bitcoin and its adaptability rather than the inventor.

He is a mystery man and nobody knows his identity and even if he comes and stands in front of us we could not recognize him but every now and then media will try to create fake news like this, yes all we care is about Bitcoin not about its inventor
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you with others speculation comments? on: December 10, 2015, 07:47:33 PM
It's also fun to look back and see how wrong or how right people were with earlier predictions/speculations.

"Bitcoin price will never go over $10."
"Bitcoin will never go below $300 again."
etc, etc.

Lol I think even I made few speculations but it never went wrong I have been always positive about Bitcoin because I have seen how it works and even if Bitcoin's value drops it regains the value back within couple of months
1103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: December 10, 2015, 07:40:11 PM
Probably USA again but it won't be decisive. It will be counted as very big crash for human history so even winners will not gain that much of a thing. Wait and see.

First of all, we need to know which are the sides taking part in the World War III. It can be between the US and China, it can be US vs Russia, it can be US vs DPRK and so on. The Americans might be able to defeat weaker nations such as Iran and DPRK. But against China and Russia, I am not sure whether they will be able to achieve a conclusive victory.

Dude, do you really want to know how much military arsenal own USA unlike the other countries..?

1) United States
USAF
The F-22 and F-35 flying together.
Budget: $601 billion
Active frontline personnel: 1,400,000
Tanks: 8,848
Total aircraft: 13,892
Submarines: 72

Despite sequestration and other spending cuts, the United States spends more money — $601 billion — on defense than the next nine countries on Credit Suisse's index combined.
America's biggest conventional military advantage is its fleet of 10 aircraft carriers. In comparison India, which is constructing its third carrier, has the second-most carriers in the world.
The US also has by far the most aircraft of any country, cutting-edge technology like the Navy's new rail gun, a large and well-trained human force — and that's not even counting the world's largest nuclear arsenal.

2) Russia
REUTERS/Baz Ratner
Russian soldiers ride on military armored personnel carriers on a road near the Crimean port city of Sevastopol March 10, 2014.
Budget: $84.5 billion
Active frontline personnel: 766,055
Tanks: 15,398
Total aircraft: 3,429
Submarines: 55

USA can be in war with top 4 countries and still destroy them!

US aircraft carriers might be obsolete.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DF-21
It is a very informative data and also wars cannot be won only through weapons but they need financial aid as well and GCC countries are there to finance USA and Iran will finance Russia in case if a war breakout
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: December 10, 2015, 05:11:42 PM
By trading or joining signature campaign

to trading at least you have expertise in analyzing, if not you will always lose.
signature campaign should have good quality posts .

very good if you can do both Smiley

There is one more way of earning with Bitcoin which is nothing but save your BTC in Bitcoin wallet and exchange it when the value of BTC is at peak, you can also trade altcoin if you have good knowledge about it.
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please Help Me Understand BitCoins on: December 09, 2015, 07:31:52 PM
Where do you buy them?
I don't buy them, I earn them with online work. You can buy them on bitcoin exchange websites, simply trade for another currency.

Where do you keep them?
In digital wallets. You can find a list of wallets on bitcoin.org

How much is a BitCoin worth?
Bitcoin price moves up and down. https://blockchain.info/charts/market-price

Yes it does keep  fluctuating but at the end bitcoins value remain much more than of USD and you have posted an very informative links
1106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: December 09, 2015, 07:25:44 PM
China & russia for sure. Other countries realise that dollar will fall and they will switch to yuan or some other currency on trading oli. When dollar is weak usa have smaller chacne to be imperium

Yes even I have similar thoughts but let's hope ww3 should not begin because whoever wins but the target and victims will be ordinary civilians like us let's hope for peace and unity.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: December 09, 2015, 07:22:23 PM
I dont believe that bitcoin can make anyone milionaire todays,or tomorrow even having something like 100 or 1000bitcoins but well sure can be a great investment and return.

Yeah but again it depends on time and market situation because people who has saved Bitcoin when it's value for very less are now very rich because now the value of BTC is approx $411 so have handful of bitcoins it could either make you a millionaire or a loser.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: December 09, 2015, 07:18:41 PM
Well bitcoin is easy to pay like your groceries or other things.
I also like cash for other things like going to the casino or naughty stuff Grin

But there are some stores I mean many merchants who don't know Bitcoin so it would be bit difficult to use BTC instead of cash but slowly companies and online shopping sites have started accepting BTC when it becomes mainstream everyone will use Bitcoin instead of cash and it's gonna happen soon.
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: December 09, 2015, 07:15:26 PM
bitcoin itself is not safe, but it can be if youre cautious
enough to see what is happening in bitcoin, ofcourse im
not just talking about bitcoin, you need to look out for
scammers and be wise how you use your btc.
Yup Bitcoin is not safe because the scammers and hackers will try to hack our wallet and loot the BTC. But Its very good for saving your money its will go remarkable price than country currencies.and If saves money in BTC wallet That is more safer than bank. there is no interest or other

Yes Bitcoin is like a boom for this generation if you save it in BTC wallet and use it when the price of Bitcoin shoots up to sky then you will be very rich but you need to be aware of hackers make sure you protect it from hackers
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2015, 07:11:16 PM
My dream was obviously becoming successful with bitcoin. Not necessarily becoming rich, but successful.

I really appreciate that and kudos to you and if you read Bitcoin very well and do a proper research you will be very successful with Bitcoin the future currency
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as your only payment option on: December 09, 2015, 07:09:19 PM
Well I've been in the situation where I have absolutely no fiat in my bank account or on my person, but I've had bitcoin on my phone.  The problem is, there's very few places to spend it, and there's not really any good ways to convert it to fiat quickly.  When I had a Coinbase account, that took about a day which isn't bad.  But when you have to eat or flee a country on a plane, you need that cash now

When merchants start accepting bitcoin for bread and circuses, we will have arrived.

Very soon merchants will start accepting Bitcoin because few multinational companies have already started using bitcoins just like few E-Commerce site and may be in about 3 - 5 years people will start using BTC for daily needs
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Wired discovered the real Satoshi Nakamoto? (.. this time) on: December 09, 2015, 07:05:48 PM
i remember you saying you can tell alot from the nonce. if you mean lack of difficulty to imply that there was only 1 miner for the majority of 2009. well that wont work because "difficulty" was only implemented in version 0.2 on december 16th and the first jump happened december 30th 2009. so before december 16th many people could mine at the same rate without any speedbumps ...which many did.
Browse through Sergio's blog. He has lots of great details into Satoshi's mining.

https://bitslog.wordpress.com/2013/04/24/satoshi-s-fortune-a-more-accurate-figure/

Really informative, cheers for the link, would be really cool if this guy was Satoshi and in revealing himself watching the effect it would have upon Bitcoin. Maybe he will be here with a savior solution for all this block size drama. One can hope Smiley

Yes even i feel same but this guy was not satoshi and he cannot be satoshi, Wired did that for their own TRP and to gain more attention I hope satoshi will come back with a solution as you said.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 09, 2015, 06:57:04 PM
For me yes, real money also online money. bitcoin that can buy or pay anything online that same like real money function. the positif is bitcoin make all thing easy, like can pay something online and make us to be anonymous.

Absolutely even for me Bitcoin is real money because we can buy stuffs online and also it is much safer than real money but sometimes in some situation it can't act as real money
1114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. Seeks to Avoid Ground War Welcomed by Islamic State on: December 08, 2015, 07:36:44 PM
Want to stop ISIS?
Stop treating the Saudis as our ally and stop buying their oil.
Enact trading sanctions.
See how quickly things change, and it doesn't require boots on the ground.

First of all they need to stop interfering in the affairs of another country when it comes Isis there is something fishy it started from Iraq where almost 40,000 Iraqi army dropped their weapon and ran away afraid of few thousand Isis elements ? Something is wrong because it looks like Isis is a well planned game by NWO.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2015, 07:31:33 PM
I think that the question should be, why should not people use bitcoin?

Nah seriously, lower fees, faster transactions ( yes im sure that in the future it will be pretty faster ), no 3rd persons involved in any transactions, NO MANIPULATION POSSIBLE and much more...

In general is something like an natural evolution, yes? Wink

You nailed it there are so many reasons that why should people use Bitcoin which you have listed amazingly and very few reasons where people are bit hesitant to you it. So the question should have been why should people not use BTC.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 08, 2015, 07:28:10 PM
Bitcoin has no killer app yet. That stops people from using bitcoin everyday.
I personally don't use bitcoin every day, because i don't need to/its not easier/faster etc.
There are situations that Bitcoin is better, but they are not that common.

Bitcoin in itself is a big killer app, the problem is people still don't get it, but they will. Nonetheless the future will give us a ton of killer apps. This is a good video about it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nOfHpOFhN8

There are a lot of other videos like this worth checking out.

Seriously Bitcoin doesn't need an killer app because the concept of Bitcoin itself is not less than a killer but Bitcoin should create awareness among people about what it is and how it works because most of most have no idea what is BTC. First educate people and then see the progress
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: December 08, 2015, 07:21:44 PM

but apple and facebook had a fully user friendly end-product. that people could understand and use, without worry or headache.
bitcoin is still a prototype. its not perfect..

so if you really want to do PR. start with businesses right now... hold off on the random average joe for now.. and just get bitcoin more user friendly and useful
then later, once you can see an easy path for:
people to easily understand
people to buy bitcoin
people to work for bitcoin
people to use bitcoin to buy real life stuff (meaning toilet paper not specialist / limited list of stuff)
people can use it faster than 10 minutes (meaning its better then a 40 second debit card transaction)

then and only then will it be ready to mass market to common average joe folk.
until then, concentrate on the business, financial and technical industries

Well then a revamping of the bitcoin.org site is needed. I dont really like the design of it, it is pretty sketchy and the labels suck and the menus are very badly designed.

Bitcoin.org should be a copy paste of litecoin.com (with orange+white color theme).

You need to put the definition of bitcoin first with a video in the middle, then below the features, and on the top of the site the menu with buttons and dropdown menus.

Probably with an index of merchants, as litecoin has. Bitcoin only has only the bitcoin wiki listed merchants, but not on the site, which is bad.

You got it right it's just little bit of change to over all website and make it more user friendly to attract more users and also easily understandable and one more thing I feels about Bitcoin is lacking in exposure so educate people about BTC.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 08, 2015, 07:06:55 PM
I'm sorry  but  I just have two predictions, BTC will either succeed (price increase and adoption)  or end up a dead coin. Grin Grin Grin

Well I agree with your prediction it its 80:20 ratio the chances of Bitcoin being successful and become mainstream is 80% and whereas being failure is only 20% let's hope it goes on to become a big success and we all become rich

These predictions aren't that bad I'd say.
Satoshi himself had said something similar.Either we will see many transactions in the future or zero.
I share this opinion as well.We might go big or we will end up with nothing.
[/quote

Honestly that's the truth and I agree with you but the chances of Bitcoin being successful is 80% whereas being a failure is just 20%. But let's hope for the best
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 08, 2015, 06:47:22 PM
Dollar well just be a dollar, it the future it will still be a dollar.
The goverment well not replace it, because there is still a lot of people that they don't know about bitcoin.

of course the government won't replace it. why would they. if they will at some point replace it, then it definitely won't be Bitcoin. they will simply make their own currency.

Exactly they can't even think of replacing dollars with bitcoin rather than having new currency because if they replace dollars with Bitcoin they have no profit in it
1120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most Americans Say Send Ground Troops to Fight ISIS on: December 07, 2015, 07:31:28 PM
This should have been done in 2012, and not now. Back then, ISIS could have been wiped out in a matter of days with a dedicated ground force. That said, I would support the American ground troops if they are sent to destroy the ISIS in Syria. But if their real intention is to topple Assad and to fight against the Kurds, then I am afraid that it is not going to end very well for them.

If they do send in ground troops, the ground troops should stay until there is a semblance of normalcy in the country. If they make an unduly hasty exit, then ISIS and other such players will again emerge in the power vaccuum.

Yeah, normalcy. The ever elusive normalcy. After destroying country after country and in effect creating the perfect breeding ground for terrorism, those with a perfect record of rushing off to war without any planning are now going to bring normalcy. I kind of tend to don´t think so.  Grin

Yeah invading countries is the root cause of terrorism and when USA goes to war with an country it destroys the country and leaves people with nothing and all they have in mind is revenge like they have nothing to lose so they don't care about their life and choose the wrong way and kills innocents in return so it would be good for Americans not to go for war with any country and try spending that budget on poor Americans and old age homes and for any noble cause
