1101  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam alert project @ Zugacoin on: December 31, 2022, 08:33:09 PM

That reminds me there get one day although na 2020 a friend of mine tell me that he would like to receive some amount of Zugacoin and convert it to Naira. He beg me to assist him in the process, as I sabi crypto-currency pass am so I did some research on how to do it and some videos I saw made it look easy.

The story was bad that at that time I did not have enough eth to run the transactions so I had to borrow from someone, long story short we were not able to convert the Zugacoin and my ETH was lost in the process.
1102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My goal for 2023 on: December 31, 2022, 08:23:54 PM
You making plans without making avenues in how to achieve them, I think your new year target is try to be more realistic and work towards the reality.

Everyone can say they want to buy bitcoin and Altcoin this coming year but you would still have to have a good source that caters for your personal needs and also can fund you vision. Let your new year be on finding that source.
1103  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: December 31, 2022, 07:48:38 PM
I don’t reckon with what you just said, let’s be truthful 2020 was was than 2021, 2020 saw the peak of the covid 19 virus and saw the shut down of countries personally it was my first time of ever witnessing, a total and complete shutdown of countries.

The fact remains that 2020 was worse that the recents year we have had after it and even before it. Also in crypto-Currency we saw an all Time high in bitcoin and so many other coins.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 31, 2022, 07:07:00 PM
And yet again Arsenal has shown the have class and character, even betting sites gave them high odds to beat brentford todays. Brentford has been in great form has has been dropping the big teams they face.

Arteta men outplayed brentford today although I think the match was very boring and Arsenal played like a typical big team that considered the win more important than the style of play congratulations to them.
1105  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Report: Nigerian Central Bank Spent Over $1.8 Billion Managing Local Currency on: December 30, 2022, 08:23:21 PM
Senior man there is no truth in those figures all of them are hyped just so they can fill their pockets, one of Nigeria most corrupt system is it’s finance sector and the chief source is the central bank of Nigeria.

A lot of unaccounted spendings, budget, diverted funds and theft. So I am not surprised at this article. How them go spend so much to manage the currency but still the currency it’s self the lose value sharply.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 30, 2022, 08:11:04 PM
I can’t confirm the news yet but it’s may seem that Cristiano Ronaldo is on his way to Saudi Arabia. Some rumors has gone out that he has accepted the offer from the Saudi Arabian team on a contract with them. This would make Cristiano Ronaldo the highest paid footballer in the world.

In as much as I know he would be missed if the move happens I think it’s the best considering his age and the fact that no club wants his big personality around only to probably bench him. What’s y’all about the situation.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: December 30, 2022, 06:47:19 PM
And why do you think the coins you mentioned are safe, are you ready for the attack if by chance those stablecoin crashes. There is nothing completely safe in crypto-currency world.

I would agree the more popular stablecoins are USDT but popular is not safe. UST was becoming popular even though it was new but still fell off. I would always choose anything that is decentralized.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin on: December 30, 2022, 10:22:54 AM
In my own opinion I think it’s actually a subject of your personality. For example I believe in Bitcoin I see it more than just an investment, so if I am holding some bitcoin I don’t see it as a potential loss or a potential profit maker.

When you rule applies is to those investors and not just any investors, to those who does not have enough capital to maintain bitcoin investment. But if you have the option to hold Bitcoin rather than Fiat and you have some Fiat to keep you going daily fine why not.
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 28, 2022, 08:33:09 PM
Bitcoin can play a part in the economy of the world if the world government actually let it, just like the US are against gold because they assume it’s threatening to their currency, that’s the same way the see Bitcoin

Nothing is wrong if a government work with the use of Bitcoin for the development of their economy, although It would still require time but bitcoin can make the transactions of finances more productive than what they used to be with fiat
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the government of a country is irresponsible? on: December 28, 2022, 07:12:54 PM
I could not read to thaw end of hoodie post. When I am chanced I would do so, and yes my country governments is irresponsible and the way they have been able to handle things that concerns crypto-Currency has really been appalling.

But also if with their hate on Crypto-Currency they haven’t been able to achieve anything.
+Crypto-Currency remains decentralized so they can’t do much
+ users in my country are fast shifting to saving in crypto-currency, making them have lesser hold.
+ crypto-currency related businesses are springing up even with all their threats.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 11:19:30 AM
Truth be told I wish many newbies and those who haven’t had experience take it easy next year, this year should serve as a reality check to many of them, a recent example is the FTX drama.

Also the fact that this year 2022 was a bearish year should not make you think 2023 is the bull run year, it’s still a probability. I think the best plan for 2023 for me is learning from my mistakes of 2022 and not repeating them.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 27, 2022, 08:18:37 PM
I have really missed the English Premier League, a very exciting resumption of daily business, I was very impressed by Arsenal, they went down by penalty and they still had the character to bounce back they acted like a champion already there.

Liverpool too had a good game after the unnecessary attacks on salah during Xmas he still maintained his professionalism and score for Liverpool. Great games all around
1113  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Should Sub-Threads be created or we should freestyle the whole thing? on: December 25, 2022, 08:52:40 PM
I no know for others but I thinks say that’s Hangout board doesn’t need to be closed, Abeg make we check am properly that hangout sub board get really contribution to us getting our own board.

The traffic on that hangout sub board choke. I was really surprised when it was closed  that place na better place where we can gather and still discuss topics in it.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 25, 2022, 08:21:55 PM
I don’t think Manchester United would really feel the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo, I may not be his fan but honestly let’s face the truth, he isn’t at his best anymore and club coaches are looking to build a more long term goals than country team but Cristiano Ronaldo was still benched at Portugal.

I think he is in denial phase and all this are seemingly so strange to him, he has been on top level for far too long and he has lost the reality of being brought down to earth.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you intend to tell loved ones about the bear market? on: December 25, 2022, 07:25:17 PM
If you have told someone about bitcoin and also told them that it’s acting volatile and has had so many bear market times and the person you introducing Bitcoin to is still interested then I don’t think you should worry too much.

But is bear,  Bull and investment all you tell people about Bitcoin? Then you aren’t even fit to tell people about bitcoin because you don’t actually know about it. Teach people all about bitcoin and all it can give them aside investments.
1116  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Naija Reps & Cryptocurrency Palava on: December 24, 2022, 08:50:25 PM
E dey off me say Nigeria way hey many economical, environmental, physical and so many other palava for our hand and na to regulate Crypto-currency be their target.

How can a country be so keen on blocking road for its citizens financial freedom. This mata tire me, I no think say crypto-currency has caused any thing for this our country to require regulations besides this is one ecosystem Nigerians they thrive
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 24, 2022, 08:31:16 PM
Are you hindered physically in anyway? Or there are some other things you would like to mention limiting you? If not I don’t see any reason you would be asking for free coins.

I have seen those with such hopes about earning free coins and it’s not a good outcome for them they always get used and it’s either the get their money scammed off them or they get used to give those fake projects claiming to offer free coin non paid promotion.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: December 24, 2022, 07:47:02 PM
Happy Xmas in advance everyone and it’s great to know that the premier league would be back on Monday Boxing Day, I must say the Qatar World Cup was probably one of the best in history and also there is no competition without dramas.

Now we back to the club football business and everyone would be business on Boxing Day, I really hope The Gunners weren’t carried away by the break and get back to doing what they have been doing this season.
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All in the name of "we are sorry we got hacked" on: December 24, 2022, 05:39:17 PM
You could be right, there is no scheme new projects doesn’t use this days to get away with so much nonsense but I don’t know how someone could pull a hack on themselves all in the name of faking it.

Well it may be possible since they are new project and so much attention isn’t place on them even though some of them raises huge money, they still have more of less experience members in their community who just cry out the situation and that is it. Personally I stay away from new projects.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found a Bitcoin restaurant in my neighborhood on: December 23, 2022, 08:57:31 PM
When you say Bitcoin restaurant I think you are wrong, literally it would mean that the Restaurant is powered or owned by Bitcoin, correct me if i am wrong I can work into the restaurant and make use of FIAT.

I think it’s more understandable if you say it’s a Bitcoin friendly or accepting restaurant and I am beginning to see lots of them in my area too and that’s encouraging.
