What happened to Manchester City today is something that shocked me. Manchester City failed to maintain their positive results against Everton even though they were playing at home. Previously everyone seemed so sure that Manchester City would win that game, but after looking at the facts, they would probably admit that anything can happen during a match.

Even if I admit Manchester City have good statistics, but that never guarantees a match result. Haaland is still unstoppable, he keeps scoring goals every game but in the end he can't always help his team win every game. 7 points away from Arsenal right now is not something good, City need to do something and they can't sleep this deep. Even though Arsenal won't necessarily win against Brighton, I'm sure they will defend it until the game ends. Score 2-4 seems to be enough to celebrate before the new year.

I'm really happy with Arsenal's performance and happy for the team to end the year with the first place. I think Odegaard in particular impressed everyone with his performance today and with City losing points before I was almost certain that Arsenal would win today. Go Gunners!

Arsenal's defense had some holes in this match and it was terrible, they were guarding well till this match and during the final stages of the match Brighton scored a goal and my heart sunk as i placed a bet on under goals for Brighton and luckily it was an offside after taking VAR. During the final ten minutes of the match Brighton was attacking more and luck was on Arsenal's side.

Arsenal winning today was not a big surprise to me because I have already known and concluded that Arsenal will likely be the champions of this year English Premier League. I also know that Newcastle will remain in the top four and I know that Manchester City is not invincible.

It is three points clear ahead of Manchester City the battle is becoming clearer that Arsenal can win

Isn't that one of the things every other team in the Premier League looks forward to today?
Every team needs to stop Manchester City's dominance in the Premier League so that the competition is really tighter than Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Laliga. This season several teams have managed to stop Manchester City, but it cannot be fully concluded that they have failed to secure the title.

7 points I don't think is a lot, but of course it won't be easy to stop Arsenal from creating extra distance between the two.

Arsenal is performing pretty well currently but the season haven't ended yet, Arsenal is winning all their matches currently but no one is sure that Arsenal will continue with their current performance till the season end, time might come when Arsenal will also start losing matches unnecessarily so I still believe the Premier League is between Arsenal and Manchester city.

You are complaining about Guardiola spending billions and not winning all matches, to be honest no matter the amount you spend on players you are still going to lose some matches, because a club spend billions on players those not mean they are not going to lose any match that season.

It was a really tight game for Manchester United today against Wolves at home, both team created many chances but couldn't get the ball at the back of the net, Manchester United had chances to score more goals but also couldn't convert most of their chances and had to settle for a 1 goal lead which they managed to hold onto until the final whistle.

I didn't watch the first half, but I think they were quite satisfied with the result in the second half. Rashford, who was played after halftime, had an impact on Manchester United's game, he scored a goal and was the only goal in the match. Now that Manchester United have made it into the top 4, they need to maintain that.

It was quite a nervy second half but a great win nonetheless. The major lesson is that they can't even be comfortable at 3-0 up. On hindsight, it may have been wrong to take off Ben White and Thomas Partey. Arsenal suffered defensive when these guys were off. They couldn’t absorb the pressure Brighton were forcing on them. All in all, it was a sweet victory and they are 7 points clear.

What's wrong with Manchester city and Newcastle, when I feel so sure they will win but the end result for their match is a draw. Even though in reality they were playing at home against a team that at this moment could be said to be weak and also, Manchester city and Newcastle really could control the game.
