1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing Royal Shiba , Next meme king ! on: January 06, 2024, 06:52:02 PM
When will we finally get rid off this memecoin madness, there has been hundreds and thousands of memecoin appearing in the market but hardly any of them make it to mainstream and people still make scam projects by adding names like shiba inu, doge and pepe to the end of the coin and mark my work as they are designated to fail. I feel we should understand that there are already a lot of memecoin and we need to move on from memecoin and spend our precious time in looking out for genuine projects.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: January 06, 2024, 06:35:44 PM
I think the pump is enough now , after few weeks of continues increase last december now it shows red marking in market

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solana/

and I think this will be going down to what is the regular price before the increase last year?

so If you are planning to buy more then better to consider sooner when the value drops good for Buy low Sell high strategy .
We are in the altcoin season. I usually don't make strict predictions as anything can happen, but as a someone who has been in this scene for a long time, something really bad should happen at this point in order to sol go back to $20, which i am assuming you mean by last year's regular price. Also what do you mean sooner? Sooner then it hits 20? That's literally buying high according to your prediction.

Whole market is just reacting to BTC EFT rejection. It's normal and we'll get over it after a whlle.

I want to consider it a mini-altseason as the bitcoin price is still under its previous ATH. So the mega altseason that everybody is waiting for will come once bitcoin makes a new previous ATH and its price becomes stable in there for a few weeks. At this time money will flow from bitcoin to major altcoins and from there to low-cap tokens. This is the most common scenario every year and i am expecting this to happen this time as well. But in terms of the price of SOL i think it will be wise to book some profits in here and reinvest them in projects that still haven't made any significant gains.

Yes, that the idle scenarios but I think SOL is kind of stable now and I doubt we would be able to book any profit at the moment as Solana's rally has comes to pause though this was not an actual bull season for Altcoin because the real one will start only post Bitcoin bull run. But it's time to figure out the next altcoin which will follow the footstep of SOL but not an easy task.
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: January 06, 2024, 06:12:45 PM
There will always be manipulations in the short term, mainly by brokers to capture money from people who operate under leverage.

This is truly a money-making machine for those who have a lot of money, as is the case with cryptocurrency brokers.

Yes unfortunately that's how the market operates, manipulations has been there and will always be there and it's upto us to decide whether we want to hodl on or reach and panic sell during the fluctuations and this varies from a person to person based on their requirement because a trader will follow the market trend and react quickly to stay on top of the profits while long term investors will not be bothered to make any move and short term investors might react but the ones leveraging will end up losing it all.
1104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you ready for crypto investing in 2024? on: January 06, 2024, 05:54:46 PM
2024 will bring more excitement for crypto because of the upcoming big events that are bound to happen this year  so I will always be eager to invest and maximize my bitcoin accumulation regardless of its current high price. But if given the chance that bitcoin will drop its price deeply and will fall below $40k, I think that will create more opportunities for us to be highly profitable in the future while we continue to accumulate and maximize our bitcoin portfolio through DCA.

DCA is the way forward, and yes there are events like bitcoin halving and spot ETF lined up which will give boost to the Bitcoin price and at the same time when market remains highly positive the best we can do is to accumulate Bitcoin as much as possible. Just need to keep in mind that we are betting on 2024 but rather 2025 could be the bullish year if we follow the pattern of last two bull runs as they started the next year from the time halving took place. I am positive about market even if it goes either ways if it pumps then it's good if it dumps then we should consider that as time for Bitcoin accumulation.
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Back after long hibernation! How to gain Merit !! on: January 06, 2024, 05:30:03 PM
I know it would be bit difficult as Merit has become basic criteria for one to be considered for any signature campaigns and I was in similar situation couple of months ago as I had taken break of roughly an year but trust me it's achievable and I did it just by being myself but yeah it would take couple of weeks or months and all you need to do is be active in this forum and be interactive by making knowledgeable posts and responses, share the important crypto related stuffs be it learning or technique or even about any potential scams or warnings because you get mert when others find your posts helpful.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if DEXs are banned in the future? on: January 06, 2024, 03:12:14 PM
I believe this would depend on the regulations put in place by the different governments, like how they will heavily check out what's happening to possibly remove the money laundering stuff. I think that's the biggest concern for regulating bodies. It would be hard to do but I think that could be the next one.

Mate, I don't think it would be an easy task for government to do because they don't control DEX or have any influence over DEX like they do have a hold for centralized exchanges and moreover even if they ban URL we have VPN services and even limited dependency which are on centralized storage will start shifting to decentralised exchanges. They cannot ban DEX but make it difficult for users to get fiat in exchange of Crypto which would lead people to explore other ways to do it.
1107  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 06, 2024, 12:37:31 PM
Quote
I wonder that how is binance being blamed for not adhering to AML. Making an account there clearly needs a KYC and the amount is traceable to the individual transacting. If anything, they get to keep the 1% on every transaction. Even on their P2P platform.

Though if this ban comes into affect, P2P will remain the only option. The forum could actually be a rallying point in that case.

KYC is different to AML policy, let's assume, the government wants information about a particular transaction form Binance, how will they contact Binance as they do not have an office. All their employees are scattered around the world. So, Binance need to provide a representative for any information that the government of India needs. They as in Binance is following it in Europe and the US but they are not following the same thing in India.

I don't think that these exchanges would not comply to the government request. They will as Indians are the largest users of the named international exchanges in the world.

Well, there should be a communication bridge between Binance and Indian government and though Binance don't have their office in India but it has employees remotely working from India and in this age of technology we don't need to have a physical office to make our presence felt as there should be a proper communication channel which should help government with the required details instead of putting every trader's earning opportunity at risk. It disgust me to think how they can kill once flourishing market.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have behaved like a fine wine 🍷 on: January 06, 2024, 12:30:43 PM
There is no doubt Bitcoin is only getting better day by day and the earlier we start doing DCA the better it would be and I am happy to say I had been doing DCA since last year and it has helped me accumulate enough BTC but still most of us don't utilize these benefit as they are either too quick to cashout or panic selling. The major challenge here is we do buying and selling but we don't do DCA or atleast we should have a percentage of Bitcoin saved for future while cashing out and should never cashout 100% of BTC.
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to get rich, you have to become immune to the money.......! on: January 06, 2024, 06:39:16 AM
This s incorrect if you don't desire money you are going to make in future or the money we have or even money of other then from where will you get money?

I would say we should have mindset that we have to cater or provide services in return of which we should be paid and thats the simple strategy of any service oriented businesses around the world and with any desire for money you cannot even set up personal goals for growth as everything required financial planning and monetary targets are really important and if we don't desire money we make in future we cannot complete this task.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 06, 2024, 06:33:51 AM
The Chinese people are trying as much to be smarter than the system, all their intentions are based on protecting and regulating their affairs by themselves and of a truth i still think they are doing very well. China has place banned not only on the use of Tether (USDT) in forex trading but has done lot more by not making Binance accessible to the Chinese people and down to the extent of shutting down every crypto related affairs in their country leaving only their digital yuan.

Yes we are seeing communist at it's best, it don't care about it's people or their growth but they are only bothered about themselves as they had targetted Binance long time ago which led to their exit from their market and also I heard there are government operations mining farma in China as the regime wants to be benefited but people shouldn't get any way to make.extra buck else their forces labor market for manufacturing units may go for a toss.
1111  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wetin be your crypto new year resolution? on: January 05, 2024, 08:39:16 PM
Happy New Year everyone, I salute Una well well. This year as many of us know na special year, na the year of the Bitcoin halving so your crypto-currency resolution suppose get some changes this year from the previous year.
First this year I hope many people for Nigeria get to adopt crypto-currency now that this present government has lifted the pseudo ban on Crypto-currency but as they join I hope say Una go integrate
+security
+ No greed
+ Avoid FOMO and FUD
+ Give the honest truth about crypto to others.
+ And most importantly strive for knowledge in this year 2024.

Though I don't believe in these new year resolutions as I would like to implement things as an when I get the idea instead of waiting till new year to make the resolution and work on it.

I am aligned on the first 2 points wherein there shouldn't be greed while trading or investment and avoiding FOMO and FUD which usually are the reason why people lose their money and if we master these two things then we would be on right path.
1112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unless the prime suspect is caught, everyone is a suspect. on: January 05, 2024, 07:52:31 PM
These are the basics one must follow and thanks for sharing this information and trust me I have been through all these possible scamming attempt but since I am in crypto domain for quite long time I am aware of these tactics used by scammers and I deal with such cases almost everyday as I work for an Ecommerce company.

People should just keep in mind that no one will help them for free and why would someone try to offer something for free.
1113  Other / Politics & Society / Good thing about your government? on: January 05, 2024, 07:39:10 PM
Most of us will have negative answer in regards to this topic but just wanted to understand what's your opinion on your country's current regime and I am sure there might be numerous negative stories about them but is there any good thing which they have done for the people which other countries should follow? like some rich arab government which pays their citizens and funds their education or Europe and western nations have minimum wage, etc.

what's the best thing your government has done which should be followed by other nations ?
1114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: January 05, 2024, 07:21:42 PM
as long as binance is safe i wouldn't put too much weight on this. Even from the same issues, Bitcoin only fell temporarily and then rose again and stabilized again. This is proof that the crypto market is very tough now. FTX, I'm sure this exchange is like an uninhabited house, its users will definitely be afraid to trade here again because the money stolen by hackers is not small. I always recommend Binance. In my opinion, currently the Binance exchange is the best in terms of security. I hope this will continue to be the case forever because crypto projects really need an exchange with high security.

Binance may be safe for time being but things can change anytime and I am sure neither people would have thought about what happened with FTX, moreover Binance has already started flagging the privacy coins which can be delisted anytime and similarly we have seen a lot of pressure upon Binance as it's going through thought time especially after CZ controversy. I don't believe in an CEX nowadays.
1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Every New Year's Eve in Bitcoin History on: January 05, 2024, 06:49:00 PM
I think we may achieve this number in 2025 because as per previous trends we have seen bull run a year after halving as we had halving in 2016 & 2020 then we saw bull run in 2017 & 2021 and BTC achieve ATH in both bull runs so I think new ATH will be achieved in next bullrun then it would rally towards $100k. This is just my observation and not any prediction or financial advise.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the high fee affecting the rate of adoption of Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2024, 06:04:25 PM
At this moment fees has come down than what it was earlier but yes higher transaction fees doesn't have a negative impact on Bitcoin adoption rate, anyone who is going to use Bitcoin for it's services like P2P transfer will be hesitant to pay high charges. This is not the case throughout the year but still it's not a good sign when the charges cannot be justified for smaller transactions. Those who out there advising not to make small transfer don't understand the concept of Bitcoin and yeah we can avoid such transfers for a while until the transfer fee comes back to normal but that's not the permanent solve.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: January 05, 2024, 01:38:12 PM
There has always been a huge difference in the pay scale between the white collar jobs and blue collar or skilled labor wherein the later one put in more effort physically and do more hardwork than the earlier one.
Why white collar Jobs get higher pay than blue-collar jobs due to several factors. Firstly, white collar is a professions often require extensive education and specialized skills, which necessitate a significant investment of time and resources in acquiring knowledge. Professionals in these roles contribute to the intellectual and strategic aspects of businesses, impacting decision making and organizational success.

Additionally, white collar jobs often involve a higher level of responsibility and accountability. Individuals in managerial or executive positions bear the weight of crucial decisions, influencing the entire company's trajectory. This level of responsibility demands a higher compensation to attract and retain top talent.

Furthermore, white-collar roles often involve continuous learning and adaptation to rapidly changing industries, adding to the value of the skills possessed. The demand for these roles is frequently driven by the evolving landscape of technology and business, contributing to their higher pay scale compared to blue cpppollar jobs that may require more physical labor but often involve repetitive tasks with lower educational prerequisites.

It's sometimes sad to see how they are treated disrespectfully, be it a waiter, delivery workers, cab drivers, carpenter, or construction workers as they are the pillars and without them things will start falling apart. I know some of these can be automated but not everything.

It is extremely depressing when we fail to recognize the importance of hard work in seemingly unremarkable yet vital roles in our everyday existence. Consider the person who delivers our wonderful meals, the taxi driver who gets us where we need to go, or the carpenter who constructs our houses. These people go a long way toward simplifying our lives. Even pros could have difficulties at work without them. Because of this, it's critical to respect them and acknowledge their significance by making sure they are fairly compensated for their labors, understanding the critical role they play in maintaining order and efficiency.

This is the reason I have made this post because they don't get the due respect which they deserve and without them this world will rot we shouldn't be in assumption that artificial intelligence or a bot will take care of these things we are still far away from such technologies which can replace the kind of task done by these skilled workers. It's simple they should get their due respect and fair pay for the kind of hardwork they put in to make this world a better place to in. We cannot image a world without them as everything will be messed up with no one to fix it.
1118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are not Scums.... Learning is a Process and it's progressive. on: January 04, 2024, 08:23:55 PM
What you need to know is that everyone has been in your current position because everyone here started as a beginner. However, as a beginner, you must be aware that if, for example, someone advises or attacks you, you must accept it as material for your future evaluation, instead of responding with despair or anger and saying that seniors treat beginners as trash. Things like this are not true, it's just that you are too carried away by your feelings.

If there is a post that hurts you, you should introspect yourself, use this as medicine so that you continue to grow in this forum. After all, in this internet forum, everyone has their own views and is free to express their opinions. If you feel right, refute your version again, aren't we here to discuss. Don't get carried away easily, you'll get old quickly.

Though I am not a newbie but the way people often responds to newbie is not in the same way they respond to senior members and I am not saying everyone does that but some of us does it and we cannot deny this fact. I feel it should be a two way thing as a first thing newbie needs to searc for their doubts and only if they are unable to find they should create topic or create it to get opinions instead of creating topics for something which has already been discussed in this forum multiple times because senior members get irritated when they see same question being repeated by different users, second thing is for seniors like us, we should either respond respectfully or make them understand by clearly explaining where they are going wrong instead of insulting or mocking them.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: January 04, 2024, 08:00:02 PM
What I've always realized is all I have in my portfolio were either the well established coins like Bitcoin, BNB, Litecoin, etc. or crazy high risk meme coins. I always believed in diversifying my portfolio but never had chances to learn and analyze alts from different sectors. I had the urge to diversify it but never had the time.
Than I find some option that could help me achieve my goal of diversification without spending more time. There are now index funds, that invest in multiple alts from different sectors and redistribute the balances and profit according to the price change. The investment is still early and the data are not green yet. But I believe such indexes could be a thing in the future.

Index funds sound a great deal because as we get involved in more stuff it's becoming difficult for me as well to manage and diversify my portfolio as I have very simple approach of 70:20:10 approach now which is 70% BTC, 20% in reputed altcoins and remaining 10% in high risk altcoins. But I would like to think of index funds as this will reduce the risk cohort and increase the chance of we getting benefitted by pump in the value of these coins if it happens.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 04, 2024, 07:09:13 PM
In my experience with Binance launchpool is a mixed as initially I had lost a lot because once the token is launched it pumps crazily and then by the time you want to sell it starts dumping and it's really difficult to sell at peak because there are so many sell orders that you will end up selling at lower price and same happens when we try to by because of FOMO. I realised my mistake and don't buy or enter launchpool rather I wait for the coin to dump which usually happens anytime within few hours to 3 days then I take entry which has turned out to be one of the best decisions.
