1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: November 24, 2023, 03:25:25 PM
Because it gained so much hype that a lot of meme coin holders in the last bull run became millionaires. Elon Musk made shit coin look so amazing of all altcoins when he promoted a shit coin, that is what Dodge coin was referred to in its early stage. If you do not agree then do a Google search. Elon destroyed any new prospect of a new project that could question his existing products. I mean to say considering the development that happened from 2011 to 2017, do we foresee anything happening in 2023 in his domain?

Everyone is so focused on memes and projects related to it that we all forget how it has nothing to do with the real world. There are so many scam projects that are currently active but we are only trying to make some profit. What was happening earlier has now stopped and now investors are playing with meme coins.
1102  Local / India / Re: Prefered crypto exchange in India? on: November 24, 2023, 02:39:11 PM
..... Indian based exchanges had food UI and features like instant conversion ...

*Good UI you mean ? ZebPay is a good exchange but they stop exchanging all of a sudden sometimes. I will keep exchanging on BInance though I lost 7k INR while exchanging because someone bought crypto from me from a hacked account. When owner came to know , he complained in MoH and the money is still in Hold though I gave my bank every single detail.

Good UI and instant credit doesn't mean anything in today's time. We are living in a time when every paisa that we earn is being taxed by the government. It is a time when we should stop counting the problems and find a solution.

Considering the way we were born we never thought we might end up in such complex environment. Let's stay focused with our goal and become financially independent unless you feel it not worthy for materialistic goal.
1103  Other / Meta / Re: Delete my account on: November 24, 2023, 02:11:56 PM
As per my knowledge and understanding only the admin can delete you account. It is obvious if your account is deleted your post and activities will get deleted. What I would like to know is why you want to do it? You have merits which can get you a member rank if you work or be active here.

What makes your profile interesting is your merit to post average. You have only 10 post with 6 merits, is this something for you asking to delete your profile? Creating such kind of topic will always result with questions.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memebet is here to make you rich AF!!🚀 on: November 24, 2023, 01:58:08 PM
I have no idea what this project is meant to gain. There are isn't anything relevant or important for any investor to invest. I might be naive to understand the project. What I understood is that anyone can gain a good profit after investing in the project.

Memebet improves online poker by utilizing blockchain technology, decentralizing operations, and ensuring transparency, security, and immutability, addressing issues associated with traditional platforms

Why I am saying that is because the OP said the memebet is going to change the way poker is being played traditionally. Then he/she comes up with another feature.

Presenting Memebet! A meme protocol that truly withstands market fluctuations, loved and utilized by crypto users❤️

So, my question is for the @OP, is it a meme coin or a blockchain that is here to solve gambling issues. As I am to much confused with what is being offered.

1105  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: November 24, 2023, 01:27:14 PM
AFTER WATCHING SKY BAT YESTERDAY THIS IS WHAT I NOW THINK ABOUT HIM!

The ghost of defeat in the World Cup has been haunting me and after watching SKY batting so aggressively it is now controlling my mind  Grin

WTF!

A batter like him, who can hit 360 degrees, struggling to bat in the World Cup! Watching him bat as he is supposed to play, made me realize how much influence and corruption is still active within BCCI. A board that was like the board of Srilanka suddenly became the richest board because of Modi who conceived the Idea of IPL. If it was not for IPL and JIO cheap internet this board would have died or would have become a laughing stock like PCB is now.

I feel there should be a separate team for the three formats and I think that is what is happening now. The problem is that for all three formats, there is one selection team. I would be right if they have selectors only for T20 cricket and another for ODI. Test cricket will die down soon, we are seeing a big decline in test cricket and we will see it out of cricket team schedules.
1106  Local / India / Re: Can we avoid tax on crypto trading in india on: November 24, 2023, 01:12:25 PM
Why avoid tax? Why take unnecessary risks? Pay tax and be safe from the law. The only problem with trading is the unjustified 1% TDS, avoid it by using DEX as they cannot have your identity. I personally won't recommend anyone evading the tax, it only helps the government in carrying out development projects. I know some of you would say it is like squeezing the middle class, I agree it is but that is what every country does to make the life of every citizen good.

If you want to evade tax on Indian exchanges then sell your crypto on the same day for INR. They cannot trace the source if you are using your personal wallet to send crypto to an Indian exchange. There is a loophole, wherein if you do not get any gains with your cryptocurrency then you do not fall into that tax slab. If you are KYC verified and do not trade on Indian exchange but use it for converting crypto to INR then you won't get taxed.

What you need to do is to sell your crypto for INR on the same day. You would need to use your personal wallet in order to do it. If you transfer funds from an exchange wallet to another exchange wallet then you would get caught. If possible use coins that are meant for privacy.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: November 24, 2023, 12:12:24 PM
Comparing Ethereum with Tron would be a bad idea @OP. Ethereum ecosystem is what Ethereum is thriving on and not the actual project. Whereas Tron is far better in terms of scalability, fast transaction time and less fee. Where it falls back is it's ecosystem, which it failed to explode. If you want to compare Ethereum then compare it with its copy cat Binance chain. It has rectified all Ethereum issues and when compared it is better that Ethereum.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacks in November on: November 24, 2023, 09:39:08 AM
Seems hacking incidents this month are really huge! Do you think this is one of the many signs that we are already in the bull run?

How can hacking indicate that the market is in bull run. It only indicates how vulnerable the following listed project were and how much loss they have suffered. Hacking incident can only make the market worse as they would lead to negative news and trust issue. A negative news never encourages a bull run but negative sentiments. A bull run won't come till next year as Bitcoin halving is expected to happen in 2024.

As per my understanding the market is more focused on SEC's decision. They have been in new a lot in last couple of months. If anything positive comes out from SEC then we might see a rally before the end of this year.
1109  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: November 23, 2023, 02:23:31 PM
Indian team is struggling and in the same way, Jio Cinema buffers without any reason. I wanted to hear the English commentary, while I opted for it. The buffering starts and when I select Hindi commentary it works smoothly. Ultimately it does not work with Jio when it is not IPL. I guess they are concentrating only on IPL and not bilateral series. I might be wrong but are you guys facing the same issue as I am facing? I did check with my broadband service provider and they said the same thing it is an issue with the streaming platform.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Logo .... a hologram made with Blender on: November 23, 2023, 10:19:51 AM
The 7 second animation looks great. I have a question for you  though, is it possible to convert that animation to a gif? If that is possible then you can submit it on platforms like GIPHY for others to use. I really liked it and that is why I am suggesting this idea to you. Most chat messengers use it for gif images, others would be able to use your creation.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges being attacked in the verge of BTC ETF on: November 23, 2023, 10:06:33 AM
One of the possible reasons is that they want to wipe off this traditional crypto exchanges that are not fully regulated and controlled by Governments, and they want to push people into using platforms that they have full control of.
The Idea is to get people to abandon bitcoin which they can not also control and then trade those ETFs on exchanges that Governments can control and manipulate any time they want.
The idea is to control cryptocurrency by controlling the investment through ETFs. For that they would need to slowly destroy the exchanges which after complying to the government boards are still getting charged hefty fines. After sometime these exchanges would halt operations and then the government would use big financial giants to control the cryptocurrency.

What you have said is also correct. I only elaborated it in detail or tried doing it.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: November 22, 2023, 07:38:06 PM
I have been a crypto enthusiast for some time now, thou I have lacked consistentency, but over the years I have seen people who have carved out good lives for themselves with crypto, either by direct or indirect investment.,as a result I wish to invest in crypto with cash, but with minimal knowledge,so I seek the help of this house in advise on which crypto to invest in currently as someone who is just getting to learn about crypto currency.

None of us here would give you the right information. It is like asking question from a retailer what to buy. Unless you have done your research and given opinion on the product you would get multiple choice. Which will make you confuse and you would end up buying nothing.

In that same manner if you ask your friends which property to invest or which car to buy you would end up confused. Investment in anything comes with a lot of risk. Find out yourself what are the risk and then calculate how much risk you can afford to handle if things go wrong.

Do not ask for advice as you will end up confused. Cryptocurrency investment work in that similar manner. Do your own research and then ask about the ones which you feel are good to invest.
1113  Local / India / Re: Prefered crypto exchange in India? on: November 22, 2023, 07:22:59 PM
I am currently not trading on any Indian exchange. I do trade on foreign exchanges in order to get the USDT<>BTC multiplication whenever bitcoin drops or rises but I am not selling for INR. I am worried about the taxation and unless the government makes some leninent moves with crypto I will continue like this because bitcoin is not the main source of earning for me, but a side earning.

I will continue to use giftcards though, mostly for groceries and shopping.

When will the government make it some bold decision.such as reducing the TDS and the tax is unknown. To be precise I don't think they will roll back as I have never head or read petrol prices, gas prices or general tax being reduced. It is either better to hold or use international exchanges in the meantime.

As far as my understanding Binance doesn't share the data with income tax or any regulator in India but we have seen bank account getting freezed due to some discrepancy in P2P transaction as you don't know if you are exchanging your token for Fiat with a scammer or a trader. My friend's bank account got freezed by cyber crime department stating the sender was part of online scammer.

Yeah in echo your voice about taxing every trade as no one can bear it and it would be end of once theiving Indian crypto exchanges

I doubt that Binance will not share data if asked by the government. CZ and his team will only bow down when they feel they might get shutdown in any country. India being the one of the second biggest investor hub on cryptocurrency after China as per my understanding can place a pressure on Binance to reveal the data of Indian users. You never know they might have already done it or in the process. My advice never take the government casually they can and they will get their money when they want to get it from a middle class individual like us.
1114  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Let's Discuss About Movies and TV Shows! on: November 22, 2023, 12:23:20 PM

I recently saw this movie on a website and found it to be very intense and something new. It is slow when it starts but gradually it becomes so intense that you won't want to skip any part. The hero of this movie is the same guy who played Erik Lehnsherr in Xmen movie. I think it was the last movie in this series where we could see this guy. I found his name as it was listed on the website and he is Michael Fassbender. The movie is a narration by the hero about his life and what are the principles he follows as an assassin. You would find him saying any dialogue as it is all about the ability to express his feelings through his narration.  I would recommend it to anyone who loves suspense, thriller, and action.

IMDB: 6.8/10

1115  Local / India / Re: Prefered crypto exchange in India? on: November 22, 2023, 11:44:09 AM
There was a time people would trade unlimited in CoinDCX, Coinswitch and WazirX but since government started taxing every single trade many of them have migrated to exchanges like Binance, Kucoin and gate.io and even the trading volume from India has reduced greatly because Indian based exchanges had food UI and features like instant conversion from any pair to INR which is something Binance is trying to implement but what about the user database ? Have they stopped trading all together or still using any hack or trick to trade in these taxable exchanges?

I do not know how Binanca operates as I do not use that exchange. What I am aware of is that there are a lot of International P2P exchanges, which do not require KYC and have a decent amount of merchants to convert your crypto to INR. For trading purposes, I still prefer using a DEX or a centralized exchange like MEX. For me, Indian exchanges are a waste as they do not have pairs that generate potential high earnings. Another reason is using them would attract a good amount of tax and TDS. While I am okay with paying the tax, the TDS is unbearable as 1% for every trade is not an acceptable amount for any trader.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 22, 2023, 11:34:56 AM
While everyone was talking about CZ, Binance, and the SEC, Kraken again got noticed by the SEC. They are now being accused of operating an unregistered platform, they again got sued. The SEC is now acting as a bully trying to fine cryptocurrency exchange for everything. After the ETFs were filed by big financial institutions the SEC has been going constantly after cryptocurrency exchanges that were or are operating in the US. It does look like there is a hidden agenda behind all of this happening in the US.

In regards to CZ, he has stepped down because he had no other choice. He still holds control of his exchange and has nothing to lose if he pays the fine and settles this problem out of court. There is nothing guaranteed though, as such issues will again come up maybe next year.
1117  Local / India / Re: How many of us check the Child Boards within our Local Board? on: November 21, 2023, 03:52:18 PM
I don't check child boards anymore. Because when I first discovered about the Indian board, I went through all the child boards, but they had zero new threads and replies.
I monitored them for a few days but didn't find any responses. Even when I created new threads on the child boards, I did not received many replies. Since then, I have not considered checking the child boards.

It's a good idea to enable the telegram notifier so that if a new thread or reply is posted, we all will be get notified.

I do not use Telegram notification but I have been using the Bitcointalk email notification lately. It is a bit slow but delivers what is required from it, I got a notification today from the Off--Topic sub-board about this topic: Let's Discuss About Movies and TV Shows!. I feel that we need to create a few more threads like this one created by pakhitheboss to make other ones active. Marketplace, mining, buyer/seller, and regional language are useless whereas in altcoins & news one can have a single thread like the one created on off-topic.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Freezes $225M Linked to Human Trafficking Syndicate Amid DOJ Investigatio on: November 21, 2023, 03:21:23 PM
Tether is a highly controversial project and it is not new for them to freeze. They have done such kind of freezing in the past and they will do it in the future. I avoid using it as it is the most centralized altcoin and sometimes I think it is backed by the US government. I may sound like a conspiracy theorist but the past of Tether has proved it somehow. It still holds the third position in market cap and it is still one of the favorite stable coins for trading by the traders. There is not much difference between Tether and USD, they both are similar in every way.
1119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Reel Crypto - The Best Online Crypto Casino on: November 21, 2023, 02:26:37 PM
Welcome Reel Crypto!

As KingsDen correctly said you need to create good looking announcement page for your casino. For that you would need to buy the Copper membership. It will allow you to post attractive images and will help you to get active forum members. I was going through the information you have mentioned struggled a little to find the link to your casino. Found it but it was not an active link. Such problems can be solved with the mentioned membership account.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: November 21, 2023, 01:21:03 PM
The easiest and most efficient way is to consider all coins as shitcoins unless proven legit. So people need to research every coin and project they are interested in. Bitcoin since 2009 has been the most proven among all decentralized cryptocurrencies. In terms of partnerships, Ethereum is the biggest platform pioneering smart contracts.

To start first, stick to the top 20 coins. People interested in crypto won't stop learning so the rest of the coins outside the top 20 will be explored and learned soon.

Bitcoin is a different league and there cannot be any comparison of any other projects with it. That is why Bitcoin is Bitcoin and all other coins are known as Altcoin. Agreed with your presepective but apart from Ethereum there are other projects that have gain trust in time. I won't get into the names but the best way to find them is to check the the top 10 coins according to market cap on Coingecko.
