1101  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Genesis Mining contracts on: November 25, 2016, 01:32:24 PM
You can't ROI back with genesis mining contracts. When you make account you accept term of use that they can terminate your contracts if fees are to high which happen only after few months. Pure waste of money. OP's contact is probably not going to be profitable anymore so he wants to sell it... But regardless if that I wouldn't recommend buying this to anyone

One can make me an offer which might give a positive ROI for him.  I can accept it or not.  It's a matter of negotiation.

BR, Alex

Please read my post again. Point is that contracts are going to be terminated because of Genesis Mining TOS. If their mining fee (maintenance + power) is greater than what you earn you can say bye bye to your contract. You think haha no way that is going to happen but only reason why they are selling years or permanent contract is because they know it's going to be terminated in next few months. Unfortunately you didn't understand  that but i hope other users will Smiley
1102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin on a website on: November 25, 2016, 10:50:41 AM
You can implement BlockTrail API. Little programming knowledge needed but they don't ask you for any personal information and receiving payments with their webhook is extremely easy to set up
1103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HOSTING BITCOIN on: November 25, 2016, 10:48:12 AM
I am hosting my three sites in under 3$/month hosting package with unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage which also accept bitcoin.
Quote
START UP $3.48/month
 3GB Storage
 Unlimited Bandwich
 Unlimited Domains

3GB storage will be nothing for even one website so there will be no use of having unlimited domain feature. Sorry but prices are really high than competitors.

None of modern websites have file-based database. I don't understand why 3gb wouldn't be enough ? i got 2gb vps with laravel installation and working just fine
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 24, 2016, 07:52:31 PM
I think it's funny that after every calymore's GPU miner update you can see increase in difficulty. (How many people actually use claymore's miner for zcash ? Propably majority of zcash miners)
1105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Address Vanity Generator on: November 24, 2016, 07:44:05 PM
How fast it is ?

Speed of generation depends on your CPU specs !
I think, instead of giving time estimation as Short/Medium/Long, it is good if you can put in some estimated figure in second/minute/hour. I understand, those wont be accurate, but still an estimation is better than some Short/Medium/Long.

That would be a cool feature but it require some work. I can try to do it next week but what i'm working on right now is improving general speed of the app, as that is something that everyone wants i think Smiley

1107  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Address Vanity Generator on: November 24, 2016, 05:15:44 PM
Why should we use this instead of the long-standing tried and true Vanitygen: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0 ?

it has GUI Smiley You can read up there... I don't want this to be consumer product or anything. This was just my weekend practice and i thought it would be cool to share it with everyone Smiley
1108  Economy / Service Announcements / Bitcoin Address Vanity Generator on: November 24, 2016, 05:05:31 PM
Almost every online vanity address generator is a scam. They all steal your wallet private keys. There is a way to generate vanity address from command line but some people just don't want to mess with that so i created Vanity Generator with GUI. App is build using electron and code is free for everyone on GitHub.

How to use it:

There is passphrase input box. You can enter there whatever you want and that is what's your address going to look like (Please note that all addresses start with 1, you don't need to include 1 !)

Case Sensitive

There is Case Sensitive checkbox. If you select it that means generator will search only for address with exact match. For example if your passphrase is "TeSt" BTC address is goin to start with 1TeSt, if you leave it unchecked your address can be 1TEST or 1TeST or 1test and so on...
This feature greatly impact on general speed of the app.

How fast it is ?

Speed of generation depends on your CPU specs !

You are scammer you just want to steal my bitcoins !

Code is publicly available, you can check it here

Download link

This is download of already packaged installation for the app: Download now

If you got any questions post here or pm me ! Smiley

Please note that there are better alternatives, this is not meant to be consumer product, it was my weekend project and i want to share it with everyone

1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z-cash mining on Gamecomputer...? on: November 24, 2016, 07:07:23 AM
What is best program (freeware) mining Z-cash.
Is claymore newest version good program?
It supports dual mining...  Huh

well depends. Claymore have dev fee so i don't know if you consider it freeware. Anyway performance gain is much larger than that dev fee. But if you don't want to mess with it there are many other completely free miners but with a little less performance
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zdash ?? on: November 23, 2016, 10:43:23 PM
Another one... They just copy/paste Zcash code and whoala ! New coin, I'm developer yayy ! I don't even see what they "changed" here... But i guess they realized no one will believe what they write anyway so why bother... Anyway coins like this are just trying to scam you and they are created by some kids who want to be rich lol
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum difficulty for miners on: November 23, 2016, 11:56:55 AM
hi
is it possible to predict how much ethereum difficulty grows each month and can anyone tell me about the most difficulty it will reach in the future?
as a miner i would like to know how long it can be profitable for me to mine
when zcash showed up , ethereum difficulty dropped and again it is rising rapidly.
thanks

we can predict how much ethereum difficulty grows because in a day, there is hundreds people which mining ethereum and i am sure that they have big hashrate. if you want to know how long it can be profitable for you then you should make a note for daily, i mean you can write how much in a day you get, how long you get ROI, after you get ROI, then you can continue to write revenue for a daily, until in oneday you think that mining ethereum is not profitable for you then its the right time for you to stop and change the other coins to mining. only you that can know how long it can be profitable and you should have a note for this.

This is possible only if everything stays the same for time you do your calculation. Look at ETH difficulty chart at the time of release of Zcash. You can't predict something like that
1114  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Selling] $50 Digital Ocean Coupon + $10 Promo Code (One Package) on: November 23, 2016, 11:50:27 AM
Don't you think your price is a bit high ? 10$ to receive a coupon from GitHub you get with student pack. So Anyone can simply buy edu email for 2-3$, register on GitHub, get 50$ coupon + many other things just from student package there and not to mention that you can sign up with edu email and receive discounts on many other sites  Grin Right price for this would be like 1$ or smth like that

Man, thanks for that idea Wink I learn a lot here at bitcointalk day by day Smiley

haha no problem. I usualy would't do something like this but when i see that someone is selling something so overpriced like op  i want to tell users how to get it cheaper. He uses the same method to receive his codes

That's the reason why you can't predict it. Etheteum difficulty is increasing again but what if new profitable coin shows up next week ? It will drop again. There is no way of telling what will happen

When i was browsing their website didn't see details about abything coin related. Even if this is coin, it looks sketchy since their only goal is to inrease shareholders money but of course they don't say how or anything much more than that
