NSA reform: lawmakers aim to bar agency from weakening encryption

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/may/13/nsa-surveillance-usa-freedom-act-encryption-amendment-zoe-lofgren

<< Concerned about weaknesses in USA Freedom Act, Zoe Lofgren and colleagues pushing to prevent NSA from weakening online encryption with new amendment. >>

Those bastards should go to prison and the NSA taken apart for what they are doing, but its ok NSA there will be companies that will make router encryption devices soon thanks to your spying practice.

Someone needs to create a new kind of tor network that is not government Funded and have a heavy encyption system, or google needs to take action what the NSA are trying to do.

There is already a company working on stronger router encyption was suppose to help keep the NSA from snooping on your network

I think a lot of citizens from welfare states kind of have a crutch mentality knowing that they always have something to fall back upon. For those of us who don't have the government backing us up, the hunger that we have to go through, the need to feed our family would force us to be more proactive in finding a job. I truly believe that my unemployment episode had made me stronger as a person, and perhaps I wouldn't be who I am today if I were living in a welfare state.
Base wage by my opinion is not a good idea, you will just make people not work and recieve benefits for that. I am conservative in spirit, so my opinion probably comes from that. But if you want to protect your citizens not starving to death and simmilar, give them food, give them shelter, give them the basic needs, but do not give them the money they did not earn.
1103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A Society that can use system with Base wage on: May 13, 2014, 04:33:18 PM
In my beliefs a good society should aim to provide a base wage for every citizen as this will mean people will not be forced to work like slaves in the same lame jobs for years on end. A base wage would stop crime from happening as people are desperate to feed their appetites, which always extend further than just food and shelter, wouldn't have to resort to drastic methods.
no one is forced to work like a slave. they chose that job because that's the only job they can get with the skills they have. if someone doesn't like their job they should better themselves to achieve the work they desire.
1104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A Society that can use system with Base wage on: May 13, 2014, 03:59:58 PM
That's in idea that's been thrown around for a while now. The trouble is, where does the funds for this base wage come from? Most governments can't even cover their pension obligations.
1105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 13, 2014, 03:57:28 PM
They did the whole gay thing with spartacus was very disgusting, but I accepted it, and thats what has been the problem, while we had to learn to accept it.  But we have to fight and stop accepting it or we will have a world where woman that are men are giving birth in the hospital

1107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The porn actress/actor will embrass Bitcoin ... because of the banks ! on: May 12, 2014, 10:17:39 PM
This is outrageous. And what next? Maybe banks will be building their own churches now where they will be telling that people are bad and morally bankrupt.

You're joking but that is exactly what historically happened. That's how religion came to be. That's why some banks look like temples, that's why "sin" and "debt" are the same word in many languages ("Schuld" in German for example). Read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debt:_The_First_5000_Years

Banks are running there own monastery, there rules, there ways, they gotta have it there way or is the highway.  Thats how the banking system rolls.
1108  Other / Meta / Re: Watchout, spam phishing forum emails are going out! on: May 12, 2014, 10:11:38 PM
A good rule of thumb is to simply never click on links in emails for site which may be important.   It is easy to be careless one time and not notice a misspelled url and it only takes one one mistake.  So if you get an email like this (and ironically it is good advice) and even if you believe it is legit.  Open a browser manually, go to bitcointalk, login as normal.

you wanna know what I do when I get these emails I click the link and write my password and cursethem out with the password, they never had responded back from me, I was thinking all you would have to do is put a hidden link tracker in the email and then if they are doing it with ebay im sure they can be prosecuted no?

New york gov is just money hungry, if it wasnt for prices going to 1000 they woudnt have paid any mind to bitcoin, but that influctuation, made them feel like they lost alot of money,   People wont adapt to bitcoin in new york that heavy now or pay any taxes on it.

Exactly. Money they didn't steal is *NOT* lost revenue. It was never theirs to begin with. To be fair, DC sees peasant's earnings the same way. They'll graciously allow you to keep some of what you earned, provided you don't get greedy. Roll Eyes You may of course keep nearly all of your earnings if you're in "the club". Peasants need not bother applying.

Yeah they should require business that make over a certain number after a year, this should be great for some owners who make less to save on merchant processing fees, pageants should have not to need to apply for these licenses.

It's hard because they're a business selling a product; if they tell even 1% of the NA/EU crowd to "fuck off", they risk losing millions of potential customers.

Then this will be a no win situation for Nintendo. They have promised that they will include homosexuality in the next version of the game. They will lose a lot of customers in Japan, Russia, India.etc. Much more than 1%.

I think you should include the Euro countries that are heavy into religion as well, there is alot of people that would be angry and will not support it.
1118  Other / Meta / Re: Watchout, spam phishing forum emails are going out! on: May 12, 2014, 05:55:49 PM
I suggest people should change passwords twice a month with long passwords.  If they are getting ur email you should also hide your email to remain hidden unless hackers are hacking site and they are able to get people emails

I reviewed this site, so its suppose to be provably fair, which it cause they tell you edge meaning probablity.  So that means sites like a dice site can have a hidden probablity that we cant see.  Lucky bit tell us but how do we know the probablity against the other sites that dont show it.
1120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Let's create a new system for provable fairness. on: May 12, 2014, 05:39:13 PM
the only way a site will be truly provably fair is that player can have access to the game panel. but we all know that cant happen, is now up to people can trust the ops.  I beleve games that you play against the owner are more likley to be rigged.  Then PVP games
