1103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe wallet for a newbie on: August 15, 2016, 03:25:01 PM
I am reading the forum daily and am registered here a few days ago.
What do you people suggest for a safe wallet for a newbie, I am not that tech guy , just the average joe with computers.
I have read that Blockchain.info is one of the best wallets, but I have also read that there are a lot of other wallets that they call local wallets like Bitcoin core Multibit Electrum and Armory also phone wallets. Which is one you can sleep safe at night ?

Blockchain is pretty good, they have transaction fees but I assure you that your wallet is in safe hands. You can have multiple addresses as well but don’t forget to ensure more security on your wallet with passphrases and authentication.
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome To The Blockchain on: August 14, 2016, 10:58:51 AM
power corrupts and money is power
the power to control the money is one that is now
in the hands of those who pretend we can't function without them
so how can we do something about it? (huh?)
working hard to get a raise, lifting that wage up
inflation takes it like a hidden taxation
manipulated interest rates to give the banks
a way to create money with the loans that they're giving out daily
that means our money is debt
gotta pay it back more than a hundred percent
it's no wonder then why the middle class is going under
when the one's above them gotta cover and come to collect
and many have no access to banking,
making payments, or saving, so more fees are taken
and everyday the gatekeepers are trying to stop change
we can not wait, welcome to the block chain

hahaha its great

Money should not be loved to bring greed and selfishness. Rather, money should be respected and have its place as a necessity. It is possible to live without it but that would be difficult. If we are not conformed to greed, then we can use our money wisely.
1105  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How do Online Wallets Survive ?? on: August 14, 2016, 10:55:44 AM
They probably use your coins, convert to fiat and involved in legitimate investments?

No I don't think they operate similarly to banks mate  Cheesy Some of the Bitcoin wallets offer premium features which are paid and other have sponsors who are paying the wallet sites to display advertisements. And they can also charge fees when converting and withdrawing Bitcoins from your account mostly on the Bitcoin exchanges. Their business must be profitable otherwise they wouldn't have been operating at a loss for so long.

Most features like buying and selling to make fiat is only available countries, so you can’t really take advantage of such features. Also it’s better to use well known wallets, the blockchain wallet is really good though there are fees when transactions are made.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 14, 2016, 10:52:47 AM
Do you think that people hate bitcoins why?
Are you hate bitcoins or like it.........
But my answer is I LIKE BITCOIN.

Most people who hate bitcoin usually aren’t well informed about it and how actually useful it is. Some view it as fake money. I agree, its quite a hassle in some place to convert it to fiat but otherwise for me, Bitcoin has really given me some opportunities to make online payments without paypal or credit card.
1107  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: August 14, 2016, 10:50:11 AM
I want ask anyone if i give you 10 Btc what will you do. because i want investment but i have no any good idea to invest it (except gambling) but i don't like dambling. So i want ask you viewS.

Right now 10BTC is around $6500; its really good money to startup that business you’ve always dreamed of. But for me, I think that’s just about enough to get the games I want on Steam, cause that’s all I really need bitcoin for at the moment. I’d probably have $500 left which I would use to invest, if I ever need to use it again for another purpose.
1108  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 14, 2016, 10:48:12 AM
If you are talking for saving my money then for that I will choose for bitcoin because at there I do not have to pay taxes and fees, and at there I earn daily profit which is much bigger then the interest of banks

If you have much money in real life, i think it's better to save it on bank. Because you will get a nice interest and get passive income for it. It's not big though, but it's still good.
I agree with you bank will never scam you considering you invest in Great banks in your country but for me i also want to invest in bitcoin even in short term because as i can see the value of bitcoin was continue to grow and it will gives us good profit
True bank may not be a scam and will certainly continue to increase so that it can keep pace with the times. If for a long-term investment and large capital could have to invest in the bank, but bitcoin also for short-term investments. So that both are equally needed in my opinion.

I agree, bitcoin investing is really worth it; if you noticed recently after the halving, the bitcoin value reached around $750, you just got to know the right time to make the best profit during that period. Even though, the value it is at right now is quite reasonable.

1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyrpto vs Fiat on: August 14, 2016, 09:25:32 AM
For now we can't consider bitcoin yet to be in the same level of fiat or i think it would never happens. But comeon bitcoin allows you to transfer fiat to your love ones in somewhere else in the world with no fees.

There is a fee but its very minimum in compare to banks and other payment systems, but a moment fiat is more popular and much more in demand in compare to bitcoins as bitcoin is still very new to many people.

Sorry it was a mistake i am actually referring to the tax that our government is taking from us. I guess it is also the main reason why more countries does not consider bitcoin as a currency because it would hard for them to track those people who does not pay taxes

I think crypto currecny is far better than Fiat due to the  features like no taxes etc
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy halving day on: July 08, 2016, 05:44:06 PM
Love seeing old threads like this get bumped at the appropriate times.  It's also nice to see legendary members chime in on them after years have gone by.  I won't say how much it arouses me but you can imagine.  Here's to the halving!
I wonder if there will be a price increase at the halving day ?

1113  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Invoice on: June 25, 2016, 09:25:36 AM
Try blockonomics,  they recently introduced peer to peer invoices in BTC, good solution for maintaining privacy and security.

Nice to see now we have bitcoin invoices also.  Great news for freelancers and contractors who can now have proof of payments.
1114  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 09:23:23 AM
Easy to answer this Grin. First I would slap myself and wake up from that dream Grin because I know I won't ever have 10000BTC with the current price $690/bitcoin. But if that dream was true then I would be cry a lot in my bedroom because I couldn't imagine how many things I can do with 10000BTC and I lost that.

Same i think. I will rather Suiside if i found i lost 10000 BTC. Its a way big amount to loose.
I cant even imagine this loss.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 25, 2016, 09:19:41 AM
I dont have any bitcion atm.
it is unfortunate if you do not save and hold bitcoin in this state. because soon the price of bitcoin will pump back and may make the price very high. do not waste this opportunity dude

I save my bitcoins because Im sure the bitcoin price will cross $1000 in halving this year. So saving is profit for me.
1116  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: June 25, 2016, 09:18:20 AM

1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: June 25, 2016, 09:02:22 AM
I just wanted to get your opinions on this one , what do you think Bitcoin would be if there was no Alternative coins such Litecoin & Dogecoin and the others ...
I mean it would be better with or without them Bitcoin would have no value at all ?

If we check on history bitcoin is the first altcoin cryptocurrency that appeared on the market. It just implies that bitcoin is independent from any altcoins, it can exist in itself. Even witout other altcoins bicoin will still have a value because the existence of other altcoins is not the basis of bitcoins price but the principle of buy and sell.

this is not the only reason that bitcoin came first than Altcoins. See the prices and market cap. None of the Alt matches in volume and price with bitcoins
1118  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 08:22:35 AM

1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 08:19:38 AM
Teaching someone about the bitcoin is not a easy task and I think if you really want to do this we should just think good about the explaining.
The best thing is to start with the advantages of the bitcoin itself to attract them.

Will not be really easy if the person you are teaching have no background in online jobs and specially with a computer and internet. But if he or she at least have 1 of those then it will be an easy task to do

If a person has computer and internet just ask him/ her to google bitcoins and watch video and tutorials on youtube. It can really help to understand.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 25, 2016, 08:17:01 AM
I think that the bank is more important that the authorities , because they can rule fiat banking . In fact bitcoin bank should not , but people still need to get to the bank fiat after getting converted from a bitcoin. So now , the bank does not disappear , because bitcoin. In the future.

Bitcoin will make bank disappear in the near future but currently it need to be trusted and popular among majority of the population of the world.
