Well I guess we all know now that there is an either a massive X11 FPGA Farm, new Asic, a ton of GPU power out there... and if it is either 1 or 2, then this is a major issue in my mind and i think it further justifies the need to switch over to POS much, much, much sooner than expected - ie tomorrow night
Also on the mixer, the minimum I mentioned might be too low with the current code, so use at least 0.1
1. POS idea is great! 2. Okay, any ETA for a Mac wallet with Anon? Thanks for your hard work, you're doing a great job - appreciate it! Actually there the mac wallet will be update, I do owe the bounty and its my bad for not sending it yet..bounty will be paid to dev today and he will release updated mac wallet

I am surprised the price is not already 200k+ after such news. Have you picked the new block where PoW ends already? yes 22.5k
|
|
|
Based on several factors the block height has been reduced to 22.5k - and then it will be POS only - Unfortunately there isn't a great formula that also maintains network integrity.
An updated windows wallet with the change will be released, GITHUB has already been updated, the 3 exchanges will need to update their wallets asap....

I don't think so and quickly looking at the address, the history looked okay...

Is this one of the transactions from the new wallet? http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/580a063bd6421c644eb54506bd3ab47f8db2464a1917061816a66f7fa1a520f2#i0It looks like the coins are routing back to the original address in two payments but the payments don't add up to the original amount. What's going on here? If you look at the wallet the payments are going back in: 580a063bd6... 18652 2014-05-26 06:54:43 106.33 213385.035964 XC 580a063bd6... 18652 2014-05-26 06:54:43 106.331162 213491.367126 XC 580a063bd6... 18652 2014-05-26 06:54:43 (212.489462) 213278.877664 XC I hope nobody is running 100 XC through the mixer at this stage [in a single transaction], lets give this a proper 'burn-in" before we crank up the volume.. that doesn't look like a mixed tx...

|
|
Just sent a test transaction from the new wallet, worked a treat and did just what it was supposed to Glad it worked as advertised - lots more to do, I need some sleep now.. If your wallet never sends the transaction outbound, that is in indicate of a network error to the mixernode, if restarting the client doesn't resolve it, pm me..

Dev, how is this wallet update affecting distribution phase and coin supply? Or will that be an update for tomorrow? Thanks
no it has the update, POW ends at block #32500 Great thanks. Last question - are pos blocks working properly now? Will this reduce from the estimated 10.8m coins if all 32500 were pow blocks? Or will there be 10.8m supply? Thanks POS code was not changed.

Can anyone tell me how the XC wallet makes transactions anonymous? Does it use coin join for the blockchain? Who operates the nodes? I can't see any detail.
no it is not coinjoin, it is 100% custom developed code... currently I operate the node for now Will others be able to run their own nodes soon like Darkcoin? thats a good question, and the short answer is yes, but I'm looking for feedback a little on that

Is there a problem with the wallet? I am just trying it now.
no shouldn't be any problem - just use a test wallet.dat file for now just in case you experience an issue
|
|
|
Please note - use a separate test wallet.dat for this - just in case, I did numerous tests but I can't account for every situation
also the minimum amount to send is 0.005

Here is the wallet https://mega.co.nz/#!gRVCgZ4Z!eqxLqh1L10HHBxG8KTi3Z3T7_nGg6GvQOwwfkfCKWRUlaunch with the batch file the masternode parameter otherwise launch with x11coin-qt.exe -addnode=mixernode01.atcsecure.com Since this is the first release, I AM ADVISING EVERYBODY TO USE A TEST WALLET separate from your main wallet.dat file Please backup your existing wallet, and create a new wallet just for any test with this client

stupid question.....what is <account> ?
so when you create a new address in your wallet, you can give a label, by default the first account has no label so you would use "" but if you make a separate account just for this, you can enter a label during creation and then use "my_label" (quotes needed) with the command

Compiling the last build of the night... I will be uploading shortly. The good news is that the features outlined in the visio are fully implemented and 100% functional as designed. The bad news is I'm exhausted and was not able to update the QT side so you will need to use the console via the debug option on this windows release.
the command is
sendfrommixer <account> <X11address> <# of XC>
so example
sendfrommixer "" <X11Address> 1
if you have multiple accounts with labels, put the label inside ""
Limit your transactions to 1 XC or less for this current phase
This is beta software, please exercise caution
