11101  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price coming down on: December 27, 2015, 04:13:59 PM
I don't know the reason but It just fits me personally , I don't want it to go and rise as hell because I don't have enough BTC for the moment , so the late it is , the better .
11102  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacked account on: December 27, 2015, 02:34:03 PM
Real owner either never posted one of his addresses or he simply don't care , because it's being probably long since I can't find anything here https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php (last 30 days) .
11103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cointelegraph down ? on: December 27, 2015, 12:52:00 PM
I can't seem to access Cointelegraph : http://cointelegraph.com/ ? anyone help having the same issue ? On the same time I can't say I'm sad because they are known for making bullshit (like giving false information's or promoting scams) but I'm curious to know what's going on .

I just checked this site now and it is working without any issues.
By the way I like cointelegraph because of their illustration designs which they create for each article.

Mmm yeah , It seems like it's working once again .
It was showing the CloudFlare error thing which allow you to retry with a live version which makes me think that they was getting DDOSED (I don't blame those DDOsers).
11104  Other / New forum software / Re: Email notification when a profile gets a new trust. on: December 27, 2015, 12:49:52 PM
I'd like to receive an email notification when someone leaves a new trust or removes one from my profile. I think it would be a useful feature.

I think there should be notifications for that but just not for emails , It would be better if it gets displayed on your forum account like when you get mentioned .
It's already annoying to receive a lot of emails from Bitcointalk , they should be less and not more . In fact , it would be better if we only receive notification (email) when we get banned and not for every single P.M or something else.

11108  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum client not working on: December 27, 2015, 09:32:06 AM
Thanks, still not working thou.. I did the following:

1) unistalled my client using the uninistaller file;
2) downloaded the latest version from your link ("windows installer...");
3) i went to .../appdata/roaming/electrum
4) ive deleted two files: "recent servers" & blockchain headers
5) ran the .exe again. Now the window "2.5.4 - default wallet - something" was alive for ~5 sec, the died again. Back to what we've started with)

Why you deleted recent servers and blockchain headers ? Shocked I'm pretty sure those are not the CONFIG files .
Please take a screenshot about your Electrum AppData and post it here since I don't have it installed on my PC .
11109  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum client not working on: December 27, 2015, 07:00:50 AM
First of all , I will recommend using the latest version of Electrum which you should find here : https://www.electrum.org/#download
Now for what comes to the issue you are facing , I guess I had it before , all you have to do is head to the AppData folder of Electrum and delete that .config file and try to run the .exe once again , that should do the trick .

11111  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: December 26, 2015, 11:24:11 AM
If the price doesnt rise then the miners stop mining because of  lack of profit, Once this happens the network becomes less secure and bitcoin starts dying off. Whats to stop this from happening?  Maybe we are getting to prices that cant be maintained with the current user base. I wasnt here at the last halfing and the price will need to be much higher so im not too sure what will happen.

Miners have more coins then everyone else so they are the one who define the price (they won't sell if it's not profitable for them)  , beside ... logically Bitcoin price is based on Supply and demand , so It's impossible for the supply to get halved and the demand stays the same or rise and nothing at all happens to the price ...
11112  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Virwox Level 3 Account on: December 26, 2015, 10:48:06 AM
I am thinking that you should include price tag for this, i am interested if i will not wait for 3 days before receiving bitcoin payment.

I just included the price , account is available and still for sale .

I'm not willing to use any website as an escrow , we will only use trusted Bitcointalk members who offer escrow services or you go first .

11114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Trying to import private key with bitcoin core on: December 26, 2015, 09:36:06 AM
Why the hell you bought a private key ? You could simply make an address and buy bitcoins instead . If the offer was irresistible then it's probably a scam .
Now without looking to the length of the private keys , as far as I know a private key can never start with 6 , It start either with L , K or 5 , Just like Bitcoin addresses start with either 1 or 3 (If it's multi signature)
11115  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] VirWox Level 3+ Account on: December 26, 2015, 08:30:41 AM
I'm selling one account however I only accept BTC as payment method so IF you are willing to change that Paypal ... I have an account Level 3 , let me know ! (Either you go first or we use an escrow) .
11116  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: December 26, 2015, 08:24:55 AM
In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.

I heard about it while searching for a way to exchange my PSC to Paypal (or something like that) which lead me to this forum and this was on the start of 2014 however I wasn't really interested , but with time ... I found my self on videos about Bitcoin on YouTube while I was Youtubing something about Paypal then I got interested and here I'm . Grin
11117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What payment for selling BTC is safe and irreversible? on: December 26, 2015, 07:44:05 AM
There isn't any because most of those payment methods allow Credit card deposits while Bitcoin doesn't . MasterCard & Visa companies allow their users to make a dispute etc ... and chargeback , that's why It's so easy to chargeback .
Payza & Neteller are little bit hard for chargeback when you send the funds and may get you banned , other then that ... I don't think there is anything safe 100% .
11118  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Have] 63$ Paypal [Need] Bitcoin on: December 26, 2015, 07:01:16 AM

11119  Economy / Currency exchange / [Have] 63$ Paypal [Need] Bitcoin on: December 25, 2015, 06:59:15 PM
I'm looking to buy some BTC at good rate (according to Preev.com rates) .
I have 63$ and my account is from Algeria (so I'm not sure how much the fees would be) . Feel free to post your offer below or contact me .
I won't be trading with low trust & low rank accounts .
11120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest my BTC on: December 25, 2015, 06:31:50 PM
I also give advise you better keep safe your money don't invest it into any investment site so hard to get back initial amount from these days so scam around us so be careful with your hard earned money.

Well I won some money... It's really not hard earned.

I was thinking about programming my own BTC scripts and sell them.. Don't know if there's a lot of demand.

That's not investing then , if you are going to program something and then sell it .
Demand depends on the BTC script , you should offer your services on Services section to see if people are willing to pay or not , It's better then programming something that you are not sure if people are willing to buy or not , that way you won't waste your time .
