Doge dropped under 7 cents.

Nice run while it lasted.

shuffle is up some 3070's

https://www.newegg.com/product-shuffle

I sourced an evga 3090 today   $1970 paid with PayPal  with six months to pay

I was denied with the shuffle again today but my EVGA 3070 FTW3 from the last shuffle I won finally came today.  That card is much bigger than the other 3070 I have.  How much room do you have between 3090's on the Onda board Phil when you run it as a 3 card rig?

More than enough. the cards just reach the empty slots which means that the rig will be a 3 card rig not more.  It is fine as 3x114=342 mh a dead solid rig to the least.

I scored this card today.

 https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=24G-P5-3975-KR

should come in a week.
11102  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 10, 2021, 01:39:45 AM
The the difficulty starts rising enough the run will end.  Frankly Difficulty is far behind price moves.

It needs to start to out pace price gains for the run to end.
11103  Economy / Computer hardware / Sold! A crippled 1080ti mines way under what it should. Make an offer. Sold! on: February 10, 2021, 01:27:11 AM

Sold!

So I have a crippled blower card.

I don't know how to fix it. But it does mine on smos.

It does 9mh at 75 watts.

It should do 40 at 175 watts

with todays crazy high mining profits it does make 1.08 usd pre power and burns about 85 watts or 2kwatts a day.

so if you have 20 cent power it makes about a 70 cent profit.
if you know how to fix the issue it would be a score.

Make an offer USA buyers only

This deal goes live on 2-11 and seems to be a pretty good price for a pre-built with a 3070 for those looking for one.  Probably will sell out instantly lol.

https://deals.dell.com/en-us/mpp/productdetail/7fpz

I might try to snag this.  Any clue how these Dell GPUs perform?  I assume they are bottom of the barrel as far as fans and cooling go.

I think Alienware in general has decent reviews but I haven't ever owned one.  For the cost I don't think you will get much lower.

In stock as I type this limit of 2 5500xt 8gb for $240.

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1580039-REG/msi_radeon_rx_5500_xt.html

sold-out I would have grabbed 2.

up to the shuffle

Dam they went pretty fast.

they do 28 mh with ease so 2 do 56 which is over 6 a day after power cost.

80 day pay off on a pair of  cards with 2 year warranty.

you are in the wrong section.  but I will look into it to help you

never spend money to fix this issue

there are free accelerators that work fine

this is the correct section to ask for help

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0

I won't give you a link to a free accelerator but I will try to do it for free for you.

It is now confirmed.

But I did not do it.

We are number 1 right across the board. Nice!

And on the day I predicted.
11112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 09, 2021, 12:57:11 AM
I don't think this changes my proven analysis one bit. The complicated math doesn't lie, and I'm as certain as ever bitcoin will be worth much, much, much less before the end of the year once this fever breaks.

I love your analysis. In fact I sold 8000 usd worth of btc as soon as I saw your post.
11113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: February 09, 2021, 12:15:46 AM
I had 1,000,000 doge

Well I sold  956,000 sold doge

300,000 too early at 1.7 cents =     5100 usd
440,000 from 1.9 to 8.2 cents =  18100 usd
212,000 at about 6 cents.      =   12600 usd

around 35,800 maybe more.

Nice thing is I rolled a lot into btc

12000 and sold that at 14200

So all in all about 38-39k in cap gains.

Most all sales were jan 28 to feb 8

I will be looking for more gpu's.

Not picked in the newegg shuffle I went for a ryzen 5900x

eth is at all time high hash rate of 383th

https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate

viabtc.com is paying 197% per block. which means 97% fee for moving eth.

I simply do not know how long that will last.

11114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 11:10:28 PM
Nice we just stayed in the top 27.

Was afraid my birthday could end the streak.

Now I am hoping it becomes a rally day marker  Grin Grin

The 28th we go to 32k - - - - - edit - - we crossed 32k need to hold it.
the 29th we go to 34k
the 30th we go to 36k
the  31st we top at 38k
we crack 40 k on feb 1st

and then of course it gets into a repetitive loop 🔁 on feb 2

cause honey badger 🦡 likes the movie ground hog’s day.

after five or six days right near 40k. we hit the new  alltime high on feb 8 or 9 47k

this just looks better and better.

At Jimbo

April 10 is 100 days

That is the goal 100-0 at the 100th day.

Today is 39 in a row.
11115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin mining profitablity on: February 08, 2021, 09:16:11 PM
you find yourself some l3+ units.

you point them to ltc.viabtc.com

2 l3+ unfits will burn 1600 watts or around 40kwatts a day about 1gh of hash power

they will earn both ltc and doge.

in 50 days or so you will have 2000 doge coins and about 1 ltc  the value is about

2000 x 0.075 = 150
1 x 150 = 150

total 300 usd   50 x 40 = 2000 kwatts

15 cent power cost is 300 usd you broke even
10 cent power cost is 200 usd you are up about 100 dollars
5 cent power cost is 100 usd you are up about 200 dollars

I did not figure in your gear cost.

and I am ball parking numbers for you
11116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2021, 09:06:10 PM
for those of you hoping sars-cov2 is going to go away there is some possible bad news ahead. Vaccines might be only 10% effective against the new strains, that seem to 'evolve' on a timeline curiously just out of reach for vaccine development

it is possible the new vaccine variant rollouts every 9 months will make big pharma stupendous profits for 5-10 years at least, ( they found over 2k bat coronaviruses in the cave in Yunnan for future reference, and can dial in any old spike protein you like in the Wuhan lab of virology, and who really knows what Mother nature will throw up when you open that Pandora's Box and let it run wild in humanity for a decade??)

and in case the plagues are not depressing enough for you here's something to sober you up properly.

the historical schedule with a progression of plagues, civil unrest, political extremism, monetary upheaval, currency wars, trade wars and finally hot war has escalated to the product hoarding and blockade stage (china has now raided the grain markets and ceased semi-conductor exports).... hot wars are a very real possibility in the near future " when goods stop crossing borders armies start crossing borders"

More often than not I disagree with what you have to say.

Unfortunately  This post of yours may be fairly accurate.
11117  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Is crypto just a joke now? on: February 08, 2021, 04:01:09 PM
So it wasn't chinese miners controlling the system, it was Elon Musk tweeting memes all along.  Regardless of whether you are making money from it, if the system is that easy to game then who will take it seriously?  What is to stop Elon pumping and dumping any coin he likes?  They are not Tesla shares so he is totally allowed to.  I just remember 5 years ago when bitcoin had a meaning and could  have been taken seriously.  Now its original purpose just seems a very distant memory.

This is a good question.

I believe he set the doge rally up 🆙.

He simply purchased billions of doge from Jan 2019 to Nov 2020.

the cost in that time was 0.001976 to 0.002850 comes out to about 0.00235 usd a coin.

so 10 billion coins would have been 23.5 million

at the moment doge is 0.0800 over 30x jump.

if he purchased 10 billion and staggered sales at 6,7,8,9,10 cents

2 billion at each level  he sold off 6 billion at a 7 cent average.

or 420 million and he still has 4 billion coins left.

a 400 million profit.

he can easily put that into btc which means the 1.5 billion he put in is more like 1.1 billion
11118  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 2021, time for a new general & diff speculation thread... on: February 08, 2021, 03:43:42 PM
Lovin' these prices! Coinbase showing $44.9k 24hr high and currently at $43.39k.
Sold a bit the other day at 38k and now just waiting for the dip hopefully back to around 30-32k so I can buy in with more Smiley
Looks like this is why todays prices is so good https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5315588.msg56298335#msg56298335

yeah coins are up and hash is moving up.

I feel a big player by big 10ph or 20 ph. raises and lowers the gear hash rate.

much like vnish software which allows the s17pro to go back and forth from 39th to 56th.

it is one explanation why we get a good uptick for first 500 blocks and then a drop off.

we are up 11% lets see if it drops off.
11119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2021, 02:57:57 PM
Yes I feel like this is a weak pump after such news. First Musk pump lasted shortly. Let's hope this one will be better.
It's not doge for sh*ts and giggles. He's already seriously endorsed btc more than a week ago and said he regretted "not buying it earlier" which is a strong hint that he bought. And since he's loaded, he must have bought a lot. This time is a confirmation. He'll have to buy a way bigger chunk next time to pump it that much. Or he'll have to reveal a previously bought bunch Wink

He can do multiple BTC purchases using his Doge profits.

Look here goes nothing but he did this (at least I think he did)

Purchased Doge for years at 0.001 to 0.002 usd

it was easy for him to do this as doge was way under priced.

128,289,785,324  amount of doge available

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/

on  feb 17 2019 doge was worth 0.001974

So if he began buying doge then up until last

nov 15th 2020 doge was worth 0.002796

average purchase price of 0.002385

1 billion coins is only 2,385000
10 billion coins is only 23,850,000

stack sales at 5, 6 ,7, 8 cents.

6.5 cent average

0.065 x 10,000,000,000 = 650,000,000

So that would let him buy the btc  fairly cheaply.

sin the first 650,000,000 really only cost him 23,850,000

11120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2021, 02:28:32 PM
Next step - integrate Bitcoin mining in Tesla while driving.

Well you could use gpus and point to nicehash which autoverts whatever coin you are mining into BTC.

Some one did it with a BMW hybrid.

https://www.coindesk.com/us-man-installs-crypto-mining-rig-in-hybrid-bmw-sportscar

as long as you point the cards to nicehash your final coin is BTC
