11101  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-05]U.S. And Japanese Bitcoin Trading Volumes Go Head to Head on: May 05, 2017, 03:18:23 PM
US and Japan? I thought it was primarily Japan driving the volumes.
As per CNBC, Japan accounts for over half of Bitcoin trading volume. The large dependence on a single market poses risks.

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/01/bitcoin-skyrockets-to-fresh-record-high-on-a-spike-in-demand-from-japan.html

Yeah. Japan is really leading the way volume wise. I don't think it will poses risk because trading in US and Canada is also doing good. Japan is not China, and its no surprise because because already adopted bitcoin as legal tender so their is no risk at all. People are now seeing bitcoin as safe haven, store of value so people buying into bitcoin now. This price surge really show's how the future of bitcoin. All price speculations are now within reach so all we have to do is wait and invest more.
11102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 02:38:48 PM
I am fascinated by Cryptos, do you think it's feasible that I can actually earn bitcoin without investing fiat. Your thoughts?
Yes you can. But its same like earning fiat than, or harder actually.
You have to work hard and earn it, if you have skills, you can provide your services and earn bitcoin. If you have something to sell, you can sell it for bitcoin.
But if you think you'll only accumulate with micro earnings and signature campaigns and other similar stuff online, then you're earning will be very slow. You'll be spending year(s) even accumulating your first bitcoin with its current price.
So suit yourself, buy if you can, and if you cannot or don't want to, then work hard and smart.

Yeah. Its the same as earning fiat. Signature campaign is a good start to earn bitcoin. But currently, there are only a few who are accepting newbies. You can offer your skills if you have one and earn bitcoin. Why you don't want to invest fiat though? It will be hard to get free bitcoin and claiming faucets for free is just a waste of your time. If you can invest just a few fiat on your end, I suggest you try trading crypto's. Start with altcoin and just buy then low and sell high to profit.
11103  Other / Off-topic / Re: teaching a 14y/o teenager about Bitcoin on: May 05, 2017, 02:07:24 PM
I'm currently teaching my 11 year old kid about bitcoin. Its a mix feeling. One day he will have a grasp of what I'm telling all about bitcoin then the next day he's not interested. So its really a challenge for me to teach my kid about bitcoin. He is a tech savvy, he is uploading his own animation videos on YouTube and gaining subscribers. So I'm not afraid that he will not understand bitcoin. Its just gonna be a slow process on both of us. He is currently on a break from school so I still have enough time to open his mind about bitcoin.
11104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Access to Insider Information? on: May 05, 2017, 01:33:16 PM
Insider trading in stock market is considered to be illegal and can land a person in jail if proven in the court for engaging in the said activity. It is because this can be unfair to the investing public who can possibly lose some money in the process if the information can have a negative impact to a certain stock.

In the cryptocurrency world, I can feel that there are those who are engaging in insider trading. There are those who are having access to secretive information either pro or against a certain coin and hence one can use the information either to buy more coins or to immediately sell the same both actions can lead to profits or at least cut possible losses.

What is your view on insider trading in the new and revolutionary crypto market?

I think this has been might have been practice before when China is still the dominant force behind the bitcoin market. I remember prior to the PBOC scrutinizing Chinese Exchanges OKcoin, Huobi and BTCC. And they are all aware prior to PBOC announcement going into public, we saw the price of going from well above $1000 to sub $900. I speculate that these exchanges collaborate which each other to pull the price. Its a fraudulent practice but its hard to really pinpoint who are really behind all of this.
11105  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-12] Tim Draper: Bitcoin’s Price Still Headed to $10k on: May 05, 2017, 09:42:42 AM
He is a pessimistic person. Bitcoin will cost  $10,001 in three years  Wink

Yeah. He is trying to hype bitcoin so that when the price reach $10,000 eventually he will just go and say "I told you so" Smiley. Also he has a lot of investment so making this kind of bold prediction will make him huge profit. Bitcoin halving is coming, and that makes bitcoin more scarce and the demand would be high pushing the price to a new level. I don't know if $10,000 is possible in the next coming years. But what we know is that bitcoin is really gaining grounds at the moment and general public is embracing it.
11106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 05, 2017, 09:12:40 AM
If you are a wise person and you do really value your money then you would see gambling is not a good place to make your boredom gone

It is never meant to be a place for you to relieve your boredom. It is a place for you to make some money. It is crazy to see people only play for fun when you are not getting any fun at all. You are either winning or losing, if you win then it might be fun however when you lose then it is not fun at all

It will not be fun at all when you are losing money and losing big. Well for starters, it is being fun because the experience of playing or placing your bet is awesome. But when you start losing the feeling is not good at all. For me, to play gambling in a smart way, you should withdraw once you have already won. Don't think that you can win more because it won't happened. If you already made your bankroll twice already then go home and withdraw you winnings. Don't let greed take over, otherwise you will end up emptying your bankroll.
11107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 08:33:11 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't if know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

As for me, you don't need this kind of promotion on Television. I know its a good way to reach audience but its too expensive just like a 10 second will cost around 6 digits figure and there are no central figure who will shoulder for that. I think bitcoin does not need any attention at the moment, it has been like this for years, and will survived in the next couple of years or so. And promoting is more difficult because the more you talk about it the more people become skeptical about it.

Philippine President Duterte revealed that President Donald Trump called him up and asked him to talk to President Xi of China to act a "broker" with North Korea:

Duterte: I called Xi at Trump's request

MANILA – President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday revealed that his conversation yesterday with Chinese President Xi Jinping was made at the request of US President Donald Trump.

Duterte on Wednesday had a phone conversation with Xi, and one of the topics they discussed was the situation in North Korea. On Saturday, Trump phoned Duterte to discuss the same issue.

11109  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-04] Bitcoin Price Goes Full Throttle Blasting Past $1500 on: May 04, 2017, 03:40:12 PM
I'm surprised.  I thought it would drop down again to ~$1100 somewhere between 1300 and 1400, but I guess I was wrong.

The market is still extremely dangerous right now.  Half the exchanges are screwed and the price variation is off the charts.  Who knows where Bitfinex, USDT, scaling and pretty much anything else could take the price.  Very surprising to see a market benefiting from uncertainty.

I also speculate that around $1550, we will see a massive dump. But I could be wrong. This is not a bubble guys, either Japan or the Bitfinex withdrawal issue is really pushing bitcoin price to this unchartered territory. The next question, is this sustainable? I hope so. Because we all know that just 1 negative news will cause the price to go down and crash. Oh I also forgot the ETF review, maybe those investors are putting money as well to the already pumping bitcoin ecosystem. Well, we just have to wait and see what happen in the next month or so.
11110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 04, 2017, 02:06:58 PM
It is rather not advisable to leave a job because of bitcoin, earning bitcoins is just an alternative source of income but earnings generated from bitcoin is not much and may/ cannot be used to sustain a family but can be used to offset some minor bills.
Thats true, I think it would be better if you make bitcoin as extra income. Do not take the risk of getting out of your job. And switching to bitcoin will therefore be at risk

I think this is the best advice. You always have to be careful with the stories of people who left everything to throw into an adventure and triumphed because just as there were people who succeeded, there were people who failed and if you have to pay bills and have a family you can´t risk. If you don´t have a job or income then, yes, look for ways to make money with this, but if you already have a job don´t let it unless the alternative is totally safe.

Of course, why would you move out of job your simply because you are earning bitcoin. You will need a stable job in order to survived your family. Well in my case, I already have put up my offline business before I did get out of my job. It took 3 months of hard thinking on whether I should just focus on my business. I guess I'm lucky that my business was able to sustain my family until I discovered bitcoin which put additional cash flow on top of my earning. So for those who are thinking of having a business, then go for it, you just have to be very careful and you have at least 6 month savings just in case something didn't come as plan.
11111  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: May 04, 2017, 01:36:49 PM
We should all go and look for business as options. I have already put up a business myself I have said. Believed me, its worth to invest your hard earn bitcoin to any business you want to put up with. I was struggling to put additional cash on my business but since I have found bitcoin, I used my earnings here as cash flow on my business and I'm very happy with the result I'm getting. So I advise everyone, if we have an any idea that you want to, go on and pursue it because we may never know, one day you will become financially stable with your business and your bitcoin earnings as a sideline for more income.
11112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term or Long Term on: May 04, 2017, 12:38:33 PM
That "Long Term" investment in bitcoins isn't guaranteed because as there are chanses of price rising, as are chanses of price fall. So to my mind short term investment like trading daily is better than putting money and waiting years because if your trading is successful, than for example if you get daily 0.8% daily profit which is very possible from bitcoin, than in 10 day you will achieve 8% and if you decide long term, than simply keep bitcoins safe.

Tell me. How much would you have made if you bought and held Bitcoin starting on the year 2012 and compare it if you did short term trading beginning at the same time. I believe long term investing would make much more.
Of course long term investment is the best because bitcoin is keep rising in the few years past and it seems that it will repeat the scenario and bitcoin can reach up to $10,000 price each bitcoin and that is very high price and if we just believe in that and continue to collect bitcoin and keep it for long term then we could possibly earn that high amount.
To reach $10k how many years we have to wait, is this possible in 4 or 5 years. Becasue for me, 10 years waiting is not worth. I don't have extra money to invest in BTC. I want short term profit. Means I will wait for months but not for years. Now it is a good time for investment price is increasing too fast I think it may cross 1600 this weekend it is a nice profit for short time investors.

For me, 3 years would be enough to wait and see where your investment goes. And 10 years is too long though to get back and profit. Well if you have extra money or if you are really rich, then investment in bitcoin for even 5 years would not be a problem. But for almost all of us who are middle income, 3 years would be suffice. Because we don't really know what the future brings, maybe down the line we have some kind of emergencies that we need to pull our investment because we need money.
11113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 04, 2017, 11:50:34 AM
Well the spurs returned a big favor for there home game. The questions now is can they keep it up until the finals? maybe im sure spurs wont go down that easily.

This is expected. Spurs is really strong in their home and as you can see in the result, they really made a statement on that. Now they just have to win on the road since they lost one in home. And if parker can't play on game 3, it will be harder but still doable.

Parker's during play-offsis a very bad situation for Spurs considering that their opponents (Housten Rockets) is a very tough contender especially on throwing hot 3 pointers. Parker plays an important role to the team because he is the best playmaker for the Spurs. If the Rockets will show again their accurate shooting on the rest of the series, I think the chance for Spurs to win is very slim. Leonard is not yet consistent to his game just like on Game 1 when they don't anything to counter rockets shooting.

Parker's injury is a big lost for the Spurs. He is a veteran, and he's leadership will surely missed by the Spurs. I guess, Patty Mills, who has arguably become every bit as integral to the Spurs as Parker this season, will get a bump up in minutes if Parker misses any time. Leonard outshines Harden this time, to even out the series. Coach Pop really made a lot of adjustments in game 2, Gasol started at center position Ryan Anderson matched up on Green to shifting Aldridge to Trevor Ariza. It's really a chess game right now.
11114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela political status on: May 04, 2017, 07:31:13 AM
i think its the end of maduro, ppl are tired , and you can see that, there are alot immigrant from venezuela that come in HT,cu, and jamaica.

Maduro was a bad choice, after the death of Chavez. He proved himself to be an incompetent elitist. Some of the issues can be traced to Chavez as well. Because Chavez never cared to set up a sovereign wealth fund (SWF).

Venezuela was already rotten when Chavez died. Maduro takes it to the next level. Its so pity to see Venezuela turn to the worst. It is one of the richest country in South America. But look at it right now, it has world’s highest inflation rate and is plagued by hunger and violent crime
Venezuela sits on the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Oil accounts for ninety-six per cent of the country’s export earnings. I guess the only solution is a political change. That's the only thing I can imagine that will help solved all this crisis. Changed all the current leaders and installed a new one. Call for a referendum and have a snap election. There has got to be a political house cleaning so you can reset the political and economic clock there.
11115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 04, 2017, 07:00:42 AM
-snip-
So fro 600 to 1300 dollars in 6 months, My prediction is for BTC to hit $1500 in 30 days. That's my logic!

If it doesn't, I you have my word that I will not try to predict the future again, now where did I put my crystal ball....

Using bitcoin logic : the price broke the $1500 barrier in 1 week in the most exchanges without counting bitfinex of course (+$1600)
More predictions please  Smiley
Most exchanges have crossed the $1500 barrier. Very few stay within that, soon those exchanges too might quote a higher price. On an average the price on exchanges were found around $1570. So the bitfinex variation is just the different approach to overcome the ongoing problem with the exchange.

Yeah. Don't trust Bitfinex price. Let them solved their own issue's first. $1500 has been touched and broken. Bitcoin is like Usain Bolt, beating its old record with every run  Grin. I hope its sustainable. Japan's impact is now truly felt with the bullish run of the bitcoin price. They are even putting exchanges their, really good news for bitcoin ecosystem. I guess all prediction are now possible, even $10000. Just a matter of when it will reach this price. Just hold on to your bitcoin because with this price rise I'm sure all of us will profit huge in the next couple of years.
11116  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Japanese exchanges increasing on: May 04, 2017, 06:34:12 AM
Japan getting into the mix could balance out china's influence.

If japan goes into the mining business, it could also help to offset miner centralization which led to bitcoin unlimited having so much unfortunate support.

Russia entering the game could also have more positive effects in terms of increasing miner decentralization and nullifying china's influence on crypto.

I always said that to feel the impact of Japanese market coming into the bitcoin landscape, I say lets wait for at least 6 months. But damn, looks like Japan is getting really hard on it and establishing a lot of exchanges there. Japan is truly leading the revolution for bitcoin to be really go globally in the next few years. In contrast, China's influence of the market is dwindling because of the Japanese aggressive move in terms of volume trading. They will probably leave the mining for the Chinese now, as electricity in Japan is expensive. At least we have someone to balance out the effect of the Chinese in bitcoin ecosystem.

11118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin break the history. on: May 04, 2017, 05:29:30 AM
Now anyone see bitcoin has been reached at $1504. It is superb for me and also for all investors of bitcoin.
Since last year in 2016 in this month bitcoin was under $400 to $550. So now we see in this time bitcoin has a double or triple price. So its mean the next coming year in 2018 bitcoin will be reached at $2500 to 3000.
Am i right? what's your opinion?

Yes.
No.
Or Even more.

I say this 3 options because we all know that bitcoin price is volatile, although is has been more stable this year compare to previous year. Personally, I hope this price run is sustainable. But in the other hand, sooner or later there might be a something that will cause the price dump resulting to another < $1100 again. For me, this is not a bubble because the price jump is not sudden. But what I'm afraid of is investors that are going to sell off their bitcoin because they have already make a profit gain. Huge profit gain. So if this happen, the price will drop a little. Good thing is bitcoin has this ability to recover from this kind of scenario. So lets just enjoy this price ride and hope for the best.
11119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 04, 2017, 04:50:24 AM
Well you can just adjust your bet, using alt coin to gamble is also a good option, there are so many gambling places now accepting alt coin like doge, ETH or litecoin, I also limit my gambling now because the price is getting very expensive, betting small is enough for me because I only play for fun

Yes, that is correct we can always adjust our bet amount according to BTC price. I so for gambled only using BTC because I don't want to exchange only for gambling purpose. I usually bet on sports so it is very easy to adjust my bet amount for each game as per the BTC market price. But while playing dice game I need to be careful because I need to adjust the maximum bet amount I need to stop in case I get continuous losses.

Although bitcoin price is too expensive recently, of course we can adjust the amount of our bets. The only problem is with respect to the confirmation time. It is very common these days it takes us a long time to get a confirmation from a bitcoin transaction. As an alternative way, we can use dogecoin which tend to be stable and require only a small fee.

Yeah. Just adjust your bet where you are comfortable with. I'm still using bitcoin to play on-line because that's the only crypto I have currently and I comfortable playing with my bitcoin. I simply adjust 0's and make my bet. I'm playing at bitsler and I saw that they have options for other crypto's like LTC, Doge and ETH. If I going to used alts, I'm probably go with Doge because as what other's have said, transaction fee is minimal so I might get Doge and use it for my online gambling.
11120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is pakistan threat to the world on: May 04, 2017, 04:16:07 AM
There are a lot of terror group in Pakistan, but I doubt that they are state sponsored terrorist group. What I'm concerned of is scenario wherein, the terrorist was able to get hold off of the nuclear arsenals of the Pakistani government and the terrorist used it to launch against US and other Western countries. Terrorist will not second guess attacking the West, the result will be catastrophic globally. Another is the is a possibility nuclear meltdown in Pakistan, how can they cope up with that? Pakistan for me is a unstable country, more violent extremist in that region and their nuclear weapons are expanding.

You probably have no idea how to launch a missile with a nuclear warhead. No terrorist will not be able to do. Even the President himself will not be able to start. There's a lot of fuses. So you don't have to be afraid of. The terrorists will not be able to launch even if they take all launchers.

LOL. Look at 9/11. Do you think that's even possible for terrorist to fly a plane and hit the twin towers? We are all caught by surprise on how daring they are. Terrorist will do anything to accomplish their goal. Let's take a look at ISIS. Read the link below:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/isis-nuclear-bomb-is-a-serious-threat-warns-barack-obama-a6964621.html

So you see that the threat of any terrorist group is real. Pakistan has a lot of warlords and it is a haven for terrorist group. Acquiring nuclear warheads is the terrorist group main goal and they will definitely has the capability to fire them. Believe me brother.
