11161  Other / Meta / Re: Dear signature spammers... (or account farmers.) -- Read the STATS inside. on: December 29, 2016, 02:38:53 PM
You guys just don't get it.  These aren't mere individuals spamming the forum for pennies as said.  This is a professionally run operation.  Don't believe me?  Read this article then.  I'm sure there's one or two operating in this forum right now.

The Bot Bubble:  Click Farms Have Inflated Social Media Currency
https://newrepublic.com/article/121551/bot-bubble-click-farms-have-inflated-social-media-currency

So the signature campaigns aren't really the problem.  The buying and selling of accounts are.  The sig campaigns just happen to be there for them to make a little extra.

Pokerstars offer a wide range of tourneys at the cost you're willing to spend.  The problem is you have to go through Neteller to deposit at their site.  And you can't or will have a hard time converting all that Neteller USD back to BTC in case you want to.  There's Betcoin but I'm not to sure if the traffic at their poker site is good recently, but check it out as they're the best Bitcoin poker site afaik.

Edit:  Oh...  There's America's Card Room.  They accept BTC deposits the last time I checked.

Hahaha!  Epic bump.  But I think OP's account is a farmed account and doesn't really mean what he says.  He just needs to post the minimum regularly so that his activity count rises.  Most of these accounts are sold later, preferably if the rank is 'Legendary'.

Look at OP's post count and activity count.  That's the main giveaway.  Some users in the Meta section of the forum are already analyzing the creation and the activities of these farmed accounts.

Did you guys see the latest verbal tussle between Cruz and Garbrandt?  It's so good, I already wish the fight was happening today!  Check it out below.  I'm also including a breakdown of Cruz vs the angry Garbrandt by Dan Hardy.  Good stuff as usual.

In my experience, Nitrogen fits the bill as 'the best Bitcoin sports betting site'.  The odds are decently good, the bet amounts can go high enough, for me at least and I have had literally NO issues with cashouts.  It's just simply the best bar none.
11166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 29, 2016, 05:01:25 AM
This is very interesting Liverpool won game and they are now 6 point behind Chelsea today we will have also excellent match

Southampton - Tottenham will go here for under 2.5 goals, cuz game will be hard and maybe will end with no goals at all

Haha.  I had the same thoughts as you.  I never thought the Spurs would be coming out with 4 goals (almost 5) from an away game judging from their recent performances.  It's a good thing I'm taking a break from betting for a couple of weeks.  I have been slightly losing from it overall.
11167  Economy / Gambling discussion / [E-SPORTS] ASL S2 (Starcraft/Broodwar Tourney) Info and Prediction Thread on: December 29, 2016, 04:56:12 AM
If anyone of you is into E-Sports how can there be not a Starcraft/Broodwar betting thread.  This was one of my early favorite RTS games as a kid and it's still going strong as a platform for E-Gaming Tournaments in South Korea.  It's cool that Nitrogensports and Betcoin offer odds for these games in their site.  If you wanna gamble on it but lack the info, look no further.  I will try my best to keep everyone here updated.

If game is not fixed, Spurs should win or at least draw

My prediction is 0-1 or 1-1, if a fair game

What do you mean by that?  That the fixtures are more likely fixed more than they're not?  Surely you don't believe that.  I could imagine match fixing in the very low leagues where there's not much money going around.  The EPL players are among the highest paid footballers around the world.
11169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: December 28, 2016, 03:36:39 AM
@BlockEye. I do not think so. There is already a lot at stake if Ronda and Holly will fight again. Ronda will not fight unless there is some incentive for her to do so like winning a UFC championship belt because she knows Holly has her number. Why risk it all again for nothing but pride. Another loss from Holly will be devastating for Ronda. So only a big incentive like money or the glory of winning the belt might make her risk it.
It might happen but it will depend on the outcome of UFC 207. If Rhonda wins her fight in a very convincing way, expect that she will call out all those who are in line to beat the current champion. Rhonda was out for a year and the character that she always want to show to the fans of UFC is she is ready, she is angry and want's to avenge her loss but that's what they did when Tate was still around until recently she said "I don't want to fight, I don't have it in me anymore".

Whether she wins convincingly or if it's really close it won't matter.  Rousey is against Nunes here and fighting her isn't exactly a walk in the park.  I think she's even harder to beat than Holly Holm imho.  And even if she wins convincingly, I think we're seeing a new Rousey from now on.  She'll be more humble and a lot wiser.  So I don't expect her calling out Holm or others just to look tough.
11170  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Bitcoin Speculation Thread. Please Critique my Analysis. ;) on: December 28, 2016, 03:21:49 AM
This is the part I hate.  After a parabolic rise, there's nothing.  Is there a possibilty of more upside action?  Yes.  Is there a possibility of more dumps in the market killing the trend?  Yes.

In answering both those questions 'yes', leaves most of us confused and afraid on what to do next.

Best thing to do is sit back and watch.

That's the thing isn't it?  As it is my belief that no one can accurately predict the market, then your exact words, however simple, is the wisest thing to do right now.  BUT I will add to that:  'Best thing to do is sit back and watch.  But keep that trailing stop handy just to be safe.'

What exchange/ method are you guys using to short a coin?
I looked into the Margin Trading section on Poloniex, but it looks like you can only do shorts with borrowed funds? Or am I reading this section wrong?
https://poloniex.com/support/aboutMarginTrading/

In order to short sell, you always need to borrow the coins involved unless naked shorting is allowed which is a bad idea overall.  The borrowed coins should be backed up by the deposit in your account.

Besides Poloniex, Kraken is also a good platform to do short selling.  Their interface is a little confusing though and takes a little getting used to.
11172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Projects and Crypto Platforms News and Info. Make Profitable Trades. on: December 28, 2016, 03:12:40 AM
I've been observing and looking for updates on the altcoin scene for quite a while now.  As an avid trader, I believe in being updated and reading the news and info available help in making better trades.  That's not to say that I take all the news and info at face value.  There's always an ulterior motive on why they release such news or blogs.  So it's always good to read between the lines and know when they're hyping or not.

But for this week I find it weird that there's almost no updates (or hype) lately.  Is it because of Bitcoin's price surge or is it because everybody is busy during the holidays?  Maybe some of them are giving up?  Grin

Please discuss.

Congratulation for Liverpool won this match from Stoke City 4-1 is a worthy score, I think this time Liverpool in their best performance, and they want to remain in EPL champion competition.
For next match with Manchester City wouldn't be easy for Liverpool and this match will be a big match on new years. Liverpool and Manchester City will fight to win this match and try to give the  new years gift for their fans

As a Man City fan, I for one would be the first to say that they will NOT win this fixture.  They will be fighting for a draw here at best, the game being at home for Liverpool and all.

In the LFC vs Stoke game, I was kinda happy at the first half when Stoke scored a goal.  I was hoping Liverpool would lose and Man City would become second in the table as this would somehow have a psychological effect on Klopp's men when they enter the match against City this weekend.  With them winning 4 - 1 from behind it only bolstered their confidence even more.

City will need all the fire power they can get against Liverpool.  I haven't checked yet but I think will Aguero be available for the match.

I can't believe that there are so few UFC fans here in the forum.  I wonder what it would take to convince them that the UFC will be the biggest fighting based sport that would replace boxing.  As some analysts are already saying, 'boxing is dying'.  After Manny Pacquiao, I don't know who else to watch in that sport.

Here's a couple of videos to get those people who are not into UFC to watch and hopefully get excited over.  Enjoy!

I don't know how you came up with those numbers but if you don't have a large enough sample size, nothing matters.  And what gambling game is this?  If you can win 70% of the time then you would be a millionaire.  That's something that just doesn't happen a lot and if it does, it's all due to variance.

DASH/BTC:  Another Opportunity to Short?

With BTC looking like it will surge past the 1000 USD mark by the end of the first quarter of 2017, it's time to find and short the more vulnerable altcoins.  I think DASH is one of them.  It's been really weak for the past couple of months with some intervening bull traps, but overall it's a good short.  And the recent price action could be a sign that it's good to add some more in your short position.
11177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2016, 05:37:32 AM
I made a parlay of 4 games tonight. I picked Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City to win their games in this boxing day. I got the total odds @3.02

Nice parlay.  I wish I followed this one.  I haven't been making bets lately due to losing most of them in the Afreeca Star League games.  It's really funny that a Starcraft tournament is eating away my gains from football betting.

It was very lucky to get 3 goals from this match because for over 70 minutes nobody put one in until Yaya's penalty shot went in. Then the next one came in late. The third one that won you the game came in the last minute of the stoppage time and even the players were in shock with that one cause it was an own goal. Cheesy
Very close to get that one my friend.

I would be the first to admit that Man City had a hard time there.  But calling them lucky to score three goals?  Nah.  With the quality of Man City's squad what were you expecting in that game?  Hull would be the lucky one if they scored three goals.  Cheesy

Your analysis is counterintuitive.

11178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: December 27, 2016, 05:13:05 AM
So far this is what I found in the net for the fight card for UFC 208

Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie (Women's Featherweight)
Travis Browne vs. Derrick Lewis (Heavyweight)
Glover Teixeira   vs. Jared Cannonier (Light Heavyweight)
Dustin Poirier vs. Jim Miller (Lightweight)
Ryan LaFlare vs. Roan Carneiro (Welterweight)
Paul Felder vs. Gilbert Burns (Lightweight)
Ian McCall vs. Neil Seery (Flyweight)
Nik Lentz vs. Islam Makhachev (Lightweight)
George Sullivan   vs. Randy Brown   (Welterweight)
Marcin Tybura vs. Luis Henrique (Heavyweight)
Wilson Reis vs. Ulka Sasaki (Flyweight)

Not much talk about this fight, all are about Rhonda's return to the octagon at UFC 207 and they keep on pushing that fight and making a hype out of it while Holly Holm is left with out PR for this event. Dana White is banking again on Rhonda Rousey's popularity but they have to think about the other UFC events.

I'll go for Holly Holm for this one and Travis Browne.

Thanks for posting the roster of the event.  I'll put it in the OP if you don't mind.  Now just to see a super mega fight of Conor McGregor proportions, I would like Rousey to win vs Nunes at BW and then Holm to win at 208 bagging the FW Women's title.  These two fighers will surely meet again and fight in the future as champions in their own right.

Hey guys, just dropping by to post a couple of videos as UFC 207 gets closer and closer.  This is one of the most exciting UFC events ever and if you're a fan, you'd be crazy not to watch this live...  Preferably in a pub getting drunk with your mates.  Grin

I recommend you guys watch the vlog series too.  They give good info on the mindset of each fighter days before the event.

Here's a quote from Ronda Rousey on why she's not participating in the media events to promote UFC 207.

Quote
was just trying to make too many people happy,” Rousey told ESPN. “But when I try and do favors and make everybody else happy, at the end of the day, they walk away happy and I’m the one who has to deal with the depression. All the pay-per-views in the world, all the money in the world, it means (expletive) nothing to me because I lost.

With that kind of attitude coming in this fight, I think there's still hope for her even if (I think) she's still mentally affected from her loss.
