11161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scams all beginners should be aware of on: July 31, 2018, 11:25:03 PM
This is helpful for everyone and most to the newbies.

There's also another thing for bounty and airdrop lovers that I've read before, those bounty or airdrops that are requiring their participants to send ETH so they can send the tokens afterwards.
11162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me ! on: July 31, 2018, 11:11:56 PM

11163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 31, 2018, 10:42:00 PM
No, hard work? First it was not worth your time to work hard and learn how to to win in every single game. Smart playing of gambling counts it is how you will handle the amount of money you spend on you activity playing. You don't have to be a genius what you need to do is to make your own control and discipline in playing to attain your goals in playing gambling.
Very well said, discipline is needed when you gamble but if you do hard work in other things like your job, it will count.

Hard work and keep on trying with gambling isn't enough and the result is varying so you have no idea if its going to count or not.
11164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For people who need help with crypto language on: July 31, 2018, 10:23:09 PM
Nice article! so are you the one created it.

But there is something missing on it and I guess it's TA = technical analysis.
11165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin the right cryptocurrency to start trading for a newbie? on: July 31, 2018, 10:13:14 PM
Preferably someone who does not have much in his savings. Is bitcoin the right cryptocurrency or should he go for an altcoin?
Yes bitcoin is the right crypto for you to start.

How much exactly should a newbie shell out to start trading and what do you think any newbie with little savings or investments should keep in mind before they officially get into cryptocurrency?
You said that you don't have much saving so invest only what you afford to lose. And do it as a trial so if ever goes wrong, you can accept it.
11166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know a reliable website with reviews for ico ? on: July 30, 2018, 03:06:16 PM
What would be a good way to find a good ico group that does their due diligence?
Dont look for an ICO group. They will just give you the ICO that they are supporting.

You say diligence? Start it on yourself by doing DYOR.
11167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2018, 02:15:46 PM
As everyone know bitcoin is useless in terms
of usability.
Who are these individuals you are calling as everyone who knew it that bitcoin is useless in terms of usability?

And what altcoin you prefer to see that will kick bitcoin on its throne? I'm still evaluating that you aren't out of your mind.
11168  Other / Meta / Re: Difference between activity and posts? on: July 30, 2018, 01:54:18 PM
Posts: the total number of your posts

Activity: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Yes, I understand the post but what makes something activity. That link just told me what I need to move up in rank, not an explanation of activity.
There's the explanation about activity. You haven't read the bottom of the first quote.
The way activity is calculated:
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.
11169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: July 30, 2018, 01:27:52 PM
It makes me laugh when I'm realizing my promises to myself to not gamble again whenever I'm losing in all in bet. After that when I have bitcoin again, I would think to gamble it first and ending up losing all of it  Cheesy Now I had control to myself but still gamble a few bets sometimes
You are not the only that struggles with these promises. You can neutralize yourself but you can never say that you will quit, right?  Grin

We may promise to stop shortly after experiencing bad things in gambling, but over time, the intentions will gradually be eroded by the dream of winning or the desire to pursue the loss that can arise at any time.  We can't just stop the activities we've been doing for so long.
Some are success in stopping themselves to gamble but most can't just resist on how hard it is to remove the addiction.
11170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient or take a risk for money??? on: July 30, 2018, 12:58:23 PM
Grab the cash if you will not remember on how early you cash out and don't ever regret. However, you can still buy back if you can still see some good entry point.
11171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a question regarding Bitcoin transaction fees. on: July 30, 2018, 11:44:50 AM
early January is $ 37 per transaction. Currently, the fee has been reduced to $ 0.79, leading to the cost of mining $ 0.2 / 0.098 BTC.
You can pay for as low as $0.01 but generally it's increasing and depends on the size of your transaction.

But it usually goes around $0.01 - $0.1 now.
11172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: coinoptionstrade.com is scam on: July 30, 2018, 11:16:06 AM
They promise to make returns of about 70% extra every week.
To be completely honest I wouldn't even believe it if it said 1% a week. 70% a week was way too impossible.
Yeah. It's too good to be true, there's no such investment that will guarantee you 70% ROI weekly. If one told you that much, doubt it.

But when you pay,  they request for you to pay more, supposedly "commissions "
And they will allow you to cash out? that's script never gets old.

Don't fall for the same investment schemes and don't feed your greed too.

11174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money electronically safe and legal. on: July 30, 2018, 10:26:30 AM
Very useful. Do you have any plans for altcoin?
Most of the percentage of my portfolio is bitcoin but I've got some few altcoins and I don't have any plans of adding more alts.

I've plans to add more bitcoin continuously.
11175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money electronically safe and legal. on: July 30, 2018, 09:47:38 AM
You have to do your own research and before asking this have you seen the stickies on this section?

As for newbie, we have this thread tutorial --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1629118.0

Does anyone know if the coin is expected to increase dramatically?
The only way to know that is if those coins went from the bottom, it's next move probably go up but this has no assurance because it can still go to the deepest bottom.
11176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy bitcoins? on: July 30, 2018, 09:04:19 AM
Bitcoin isn't on stock exchanges.

But there are exchanges that are dedicated only for crypto's. Various suggestions and places has been given to you and most of them are popular.

If there's a local exchange in your country that's the easiest.
11177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to invest bitcoin? on: July 30, 2018, 07:48:58 AM
It's okay for you to invest in bitcoin in different exchanges but there's one thing that you must control.

And that is by thinking to get the "highest" profit, it's there that we want to profit by investing but if you're mindset is like that, you're likely to be scammed.
11178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm interested in signature bounty on: July 30, 2018, 07:33:55 AM
You want to avoid ban from the forum?

Read this --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0 this is the Unofficial forum rules, it's on Meta's stickies.

If you want to avoid being banned from that bounty/campaign, simply read the rules.
11179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: July 30, 2018, 07:14:04 AM
As per my experience their is no strategy in dice which gives you profit for long term. Only for shortterm you can gain profit but in long run you will be in loss. You have to bet according to the situation of the game.
If someone claims that there's a good long term strategy and he's willing to share it to you with some fees, don't believe it.

Each gambler has its own strategy but we do understand the fact that we can't stand for long term in dice although we have formed our very own strategy. There's no strategy that last forever in dices, it can be effective for today but it can't last.
11180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: July 26, 2018, 01:58:10 PM
If a company isnt a scam, you will be able to know from the beginning.
You can also know that most of the scams are showing it's nature in the beginning.

Look for plenty of community involvement and proper spelling in posts.
In the Scam accusation section, you'll see some accusations that are being thrown to scams and there are casino's there too.
