1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: October 18, 2019, 03:21:29 PM
Is day trading for a living your dream job? Get another one – study says 97% of day traders lose money.

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3423101

Only 0.4% earned more than a bank teller.

You can thank me latter.
Yes, it is true that most of day trading lose. It is also because of their instinct about the market, even trading can also require you being lucky because once you are not lucky enough just like in gambling then you will surely lose. Your analyzation or instinct will also be nonsense.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: October 18, 2019, 12:34:31 PM

Its expected to happen. When adoption is increasing more and more technologically inclined individuals will keep finding ways to get money out of it. Only here in the forum, there are thousands of scams already happened in the last 10 years of BTC. You'll be counting more of it as soon as libra is up and running.  Korean government wouldn't bother counting them.
Yes, there are a lot of scams already here in the forum, especially in airdrops. In that way, we can already prove that there are already crimes involving crypto and every now and then there is not only one scam. Even bounty campaigns, so before joining we should double or triple check the campaign or airdrop 1st before joining to avoid those scammers. For sure there are still here that still joining those scams that's why they are increasing because they know that there will always be someone who will accept their trap.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 18, 2019, 03:53:01 AM
I am not worried about the price of bitcoin, actually, it is also an advantage for us that the price of bitcoin is not stable because we can earn from it as long as we know how to analyze. Huge investors take these advantages so that they can earn a lot from that. I am also a victim of panic selling before but after all, I've already learned from it. Worrying too much can lead us lots of loses.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between Bitcoin and Facebook's Libra on: October 17, 2019, 10:59:56 PM
I see that Libra adoption will be higher than BTC.  with a coin stable system, Libra will have many users.  Retail also will be more comfortable making Libra coin transactions.  but in the long term, BTC can become an asset and compete with legendary assets such as gold.  and Libra coin is not good for being a long-term asset.
Libra adoption will be higher is it also because of the power of Facebook, they are the owner so it is not hard for them to advertise libre while other coins are banned to advertise their coin to Facebook. Maybe Libra is also a good way to make bitcoin more open to others who still don't exactly know bitcoin.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 17, 2019, 03:39:24 PM
I wanted to create a thread to get a general idea of what you look for when you're betting with your Crypto's.

I'm a developer myself & building a betting platform right now - I thought where better than here to ask for advice!
A friendly online betting that can easily bet without any hindrances.
Easy to withdraw with a low fee.
Different gambling games so that anyone can play.
No KYC
With some special bonuses or surprises.
I think the free trial is also good that 1st visit.
Can also play with mobile phones (IOS/Android)
These are what I wanted when visiting crypto betting.
1126  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: October 17, 2019, 03:28:00 PM
It is too far from bitcoin to reach $1million. Maybe we should wait for more than 50 years. LOL. I don't think bitcoin will it that but maybe if the dollar will be devalued then that should be possible, but I don't think the dollar will be devalued so there is nothing to think deeply if bitcoin will hit $1million.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 17, 2019, 07:08:46 AM
I don't think that there is a specific way to be profitable in sports betting. Being lucky enough is the best thing we can have in every aspect of gambling games but of course, we also must play those games that we already familiarize, if we really want to win.
Exploring new games are also good but if profit is your reason why you are playing then better gamble on what game you familiarize.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 17, 2019, 06:56:24 AM

After the failures of ico and the short progress of ico; it brings a sigh of fear into crypto currency.

Investors are smarter; and do not rush into tokens
while bounty hunters are increased thus providing poor contents which leads to no reward

If we consider previously where projects raise 10m$ for just launching app unlike now where
Most Projects this year struggle to raise even 100$; and it looks like ieo/ico will die soon.

What will be the future of crypto currency?
Does it need regulation as stock and forex ? Or the sequence of struggle continues ?

Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?

For hunters; soon; I doubt we will find worthy projects to promote

As this is my first post in altcoins; I hope I get a lot of suggestions to improve my knowledge likewise
I think soon bounties will die, because now most projects that holding bounty it's scam. Already I see less bounty campaigns and with time will be lower.
Crypto bounties is not dying any time soon, our service will always be needed and this year so far i am impressed that few legit projects have good volumes on exchanges, the latest one is nestree project which has over 300k trading volume on exchange, not bad for a new project and all hunters have been paid
It is good to hear that there are still good bounty campaigns and I also know that bounties are not dying because I've also earn with bounties before and I think there are still many good bounties out there, the downside of bounty for me is that, they pay you after the project which is you didn't know if their project will going to be successful, because once that their project will not going to be success then there is no pay. That's is what I've known about bounties.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 17, 2019, 03:11:48 AM
A lot of us here love sports and we are betting at the same time.
I am not successful in this kind of venture but I would love to know from people here on what they do in order to win.
They say that sports betting has no house edge, but why is it it's still hard to win here?
Because it is still based on our luck, once you become greedy then it is dangerous already. Being greedy will make our gambling experience worst once you've won once for sure you will want MORE, because I know that feeling, so it is better to be contented on what we have won that day then stop for a while. Better coming back next time to try again your luck.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2019, 01:57:17 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency.
People who wants to invest in crypto is ofcourse those who wants to earn profit and at the same time, have enough capital.
What kind of quick and easy to build store you mean? There are already lots of online store that we can use bitcoin as payment.

What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?
To have a lot of earning with crypto, is the best reasons we can use.
1131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: October 16, 2019, 08:30:36 AM
We have been having a lot of debate on where the trend might be shifted to in terms of BTC price. The highest price this year almost reaches $14000, while the majority still believe that we might still get back to this price and even surpass that level, some still at the conservative position that BTC will hover between $7000 -$10000 maximum before the end of this year.

Is anybody here believe in any of these scenarios with valid points and if available an illustration that will establish the fact.
No one can exactly get the illustration of any of scenarios you have notice, but in my opinion, bitcoin value will just be at the average of until $8000 this year. I don't see that there is something that bitcoin will get over $10k. The movement of the bitcoin price right now is very slow and it doesn't show any potential to hit over $10k.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: New printed money into crypto? How? on: October 15, 2019, 04:22:53 PM
The question is in what way the new printed money will find the Way in to crypto market?

Printed crypto money? Is there any? I dont think so.. I know there is a bitcoin coin but as I know, it cannot be use.

As Property and stock markets are booming gold is going up too we have like new economic fresh start everything is going up but Bitcoin is Still down!

There is a right time for bitcoin to increase again. Don't just rely on the current market today. We all know that bitcoin has a potential and we all witness it. Maybe this is just not a good year for bitcoin.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 15, 2019, 10:34:25 AM
I've recently meditated on this thought. We all want businesses to adopt bitcoin as a payment method and people to pay with it, but I think most people are rather avoiding to spend their BTC as they see it more as a store of value that will bring wealth to them over the next years. So they are more likely to keep their BTCs and spend the fiat currency, thus the use of BTC in day-to-day transactions won't probably go up until people actually get their wages in Bitcoin denomination. But in order for companies to enable that so it will be convenient for both the employee and the employer we need to have the infrastructure in place, including regulations and major stores in the cities accepting BTC.

What're your thoughts on this? Do people prefer to spend their BTC or do anything( maybe even taking a loan) to protect them?
We all wanted to hold our BTC so it will give us a good future but there were also times that there is an emergency that we also need to prioritize today than to think of our future. Once that emergency comes our future purposes will also lessen or maybe gone (depend on what we need on that moment) so if there is a chance for you to invest right now and never use it for years then that's a great idea, although at the same time we also wanted to have bitcoin for method of payment because we all know that it is very convenient at all but I think, FUTURE is way better important.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: October 15, 2019, 07:28:50 AM
I'm gonna pitch just their pictures, but I bet you will want to know their story, so here's the source: https://www.bitcoinsportsbetting.co.uk/news/celebrities-into-sports-betting/

1  23  4
They have their own money, effort and time to gamble and to enjoy what they earn for being a celebrities and I dont think that there is something wrong with that. Most celebrities not only in hollywood but also in local celebrities are also in gambling. Of course they also want to enjoy.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: October 15, 2019, 12:36:29 AM
If the propose Public Amendment of Gambling Law to BAN Casino come to pass what then will be faith of those who are benefiting from casino business related activities https://dailyasianage.com/news/199020/amendment-to-gambling-law-to-ban-casino

This article does not cover the overall casino gambling business worldwide and it is only related to the Muslim country Bangladesh. Gambling is already prohibited in that area and government wants to shut down the illegal running casinos.

Quote
Article 18(2) of the Constitution of Bangladesh says, "The State shall adopt effective measures to prevent prostitution and gambling."Therefore, gambling is an illegal act but not business. Besides, Sections 3, 4, 13 of the Public Gambling Act, 1867, defines gambling as a criminal and punishable offence.

Maybe the Op is from Bangladesh and not just by asking what will happen to the business owners but at the same time asking about the link. It is also about illegal running casinos will ban. If illegal casinos will ban then the profit of that owner will stop. That's it.
For sure, owners will also make another casino or I think they should build an online casino, it is better so they make their profit continues.
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2019, 03:14:12 PM
Money changed its shape through history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if it's going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
It is possible to have a new coin in the future after bitcoin because as what we have right now our money features are exchanging their physical appearance and I think that is also how cryptocurrency will improve even more in the future. New coin or maybe new features of cryptocurrencies in the future. We are still not yet in that phase so maybe let's just stop assuming something new. LOL. But the better version is good I know.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 14, 2019, 01:52:22 PM
An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you the best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?
You can check ratings of bounty campaign from ICObench, if the rating is good, of course, you also need to double-check and read their project. I also experience before what you have an experience that bounty campaign did not pay, it is also because their project did not succeed but the problem is that is always their reason why they are not paying the members which is sometimes I did not believe it anymore.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 14, 2019, 07:27:28 AM
I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?
Maybe it is worth it for him. You say that he is daily betting on that particular offline betting outlet and I guess he is already hooked and at the same time enjoying what he is doing, and as I know about that game, there are also some small winnings or should I say consolation price if you hit some of their conditions of the game. Maybe he also wins small amount on that, so that he tries his luck to get the highest jackpot. I also forgot my loses when I actually win in a game because all what we think at that moment is our winnings and not our loses.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 13, 2019, 02:56:15 PM
Understand who controls the market you are investing or trading in, and you’ll have an advantage. Bitcoin is a free and open source market. Nobody owns it.

But does anyone control it?

Ask yourself this—

How are Bitcoins created?

Who is incentivised to create Bitcoin?

Between 2013 and the beginning of 2017, big money had been slowly moving in on Bitcoin. They saw its potential as a relatively rare asset and also the mechanism that made it work. Bitcoin is seen as having a value greater than the sum of its parts.
In my own opinion, bitcoin value control by us, especially who buys a huge amount of bitcoin and those who sell huge amount as well, because once we buy huge amount or many of us buy at the same time then the value of bitcoin will increase.
