1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed transaction on: November 14, 2017, 02:45:05 PM
i'm pretty sure that this is because of the fees in the electrum wallet, it says minimum 694. sat/byte which is extremely high for such amount, even when i try to send 1mbtc it gives that fee 694 as the lowest that i can choose, how can i change this..? thanks.

Tools -> Preferences -> Transactions -> Check Dynamic fees
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed transaction on: November 14, 2017, 11:37:19 AM
Look at this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2400132.0) and the link contained within about the 18BTC transaction.
That should help.

Thanks for the help. But with what wallet can I do this? to export the data and delete bad transaction from that file.

What wallet are you using?

Hello,

Yesterday I sent an amount to a wrong address with low fee, I realized it later, is there any way to cancel it, its still showing unconfirmed?

Please help me.

As suggested if it’s not been processed you could try and double spend them.
You’d need to be using a wallet that allows you to export the data and delete the last ‘bad’ transaction from the file.
Then you could reopen the wallet and send those coins again to a different wallet that you own. Make sure that the fee is high as you need that transaction to be processed before the other you sent (mistakenly) gets conformed.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: CAN'T SEND BITCOIN AGAIN on: November 13, 2017, 06:01:33 PM
So if it's in my wallet and I can't send it anywhere does it actually exist?  My recent atm deposit should 100% be available but can't even send $5 of balance.  Can I go to bitcoin atm and sell it there or will I get a message insufficient funds?  If it shows in my available balance, I still don't understand why I can't use any of it.   Any help is appreciated.

See on BTC.com

The transaction has been confirmed so you should be free to spend the coins.
I wouldn't advise sending now though as the network is highly congested and your transaction will take a long time (more than a day to process) if using normal fees.

I just tried sending anywhere from $100 to $20 and get the following message:

FAILED
There was a problem sending your transaction
You don't have enough balance to pay for the fee. A fee
of 0.03329352 BTC is required.

Have you tried changing the fee? Perhaps check the auto set fee. That could be one of the causes...
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Stuck for 2 Days on: November 13, 2017, 05:57:17 PM
Hello there,

Same thing, still not confirmed Tx: https://bitaps.com/c6349ae0cbba47c98bde9da627f6a015846c83d6958b26e1395a5f8c41b480d5

It still does not exist on checking blockchain.info and https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

The fee looks o'key.

Probably the reason is 11 inputs from my multi-wallet or..?

Please who could check it or any offers, ideas how to make it confirmed in near future for sure. Thx!

The transaction you posted shows a double spend on that transaction. if that was indeed the case then it won't be processed now and not ever  Grin
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Stuck for 2 Days on: November 13, 2017, 05:31:02 PM
The fee per byte for your transaction was 141.081 sat/B. That seems pretty normal but given the loss in hash power with the failed S2X and BCH fiasco transactions are being processed much slower than usual.
There are accelerators that you can use but I assume that they're being overloaded with requests so much so that some sites probably can't handle the traffic.
Your transaction is estimated to be processed somewhere within the next 4-76 blocks.
There's nothing you can really do now (other than double spend to try and salvage them) but if you want the transaction to go ahead the only option is to wait it out.

1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INDAHASH ICO: WORKING APP, 130 PERSON TEAM, 7 OFFICES, 300 000 INFLUENCERS on: November 13, 2017, 02:17:00 AM
You have working business and IOS and Android apps, but this apps not for crypto and tokens? Right? So, you will make new apps?

The aim is to integrate the tokens within the existing framework of the app. In other words, the tokens will be used as the in-app currency to pay promoters and for the promoters to use to incentivise followers. If you look at the first page of this thread you will see how the app will work in terms of token spending. There are some nice and simple graphics that help illustrate it.
1130  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trying to set up a crypto company on: November 12, 2017, 09:59:16 PM
Good points actually.

In the Netherlands there are company structures which make you not personally liable.

However, the licenses are expensive indeed.

Possiblities to create an ICO and base it around that?

Again it all depends on the purpose of establishing the company. Are you looking to expand? Why did your friends ask you to create the site. If there's no need for it then it's not worthwhile.
I don't see how an ICO would help in any case though. How do you propose it would help?

I am looking to expand. Currently graduating and it seems that there is potential for this. It's been a word-of-mouth promotion that I've been doing this and I've been getting requests from people what it is I do, how it works and if I can do it for them as well. Which is going to be a hassle if I am going to manage a lot of portfolio's. Creating a system behind it might help in making the management of the portfolio's much easier.

The reason I was thinking of an ICO was because I do not have financial resources or the knowledge to create such a system. I do not want to crowdfund for the wrong reasons, therefore I am exploring my options atm.

If that's the case then there's no harm in trying. Your first step would be to look up the legalities involved and if any licenses are needed.
Creating an actual site shouldn't be too hard. I assume it will be more informational than anything else.
I don't see how the ICO would help though. If you're offering an investment/financial consulting service then won't the users invest through you? If that's the case then why would you need to raise other funds?

Your account is new here and your site seems pretty new too. There aren't any reviews for your company and no public information has been posted on your website.
Where do you ship from? Do you carry all the products in stock? Would you accept escrow for sales to gain trust?
These are all important questions that must be answered before you can actually be taken seriously as a supplier.

Ok, bitcoins are safe (for now)

Now the question is where the address 1ESzuTV3cLcGg83ftWunucxppSrkH65Dem come from?

May seem crazy, it would be interesting to try another transaction, to see if it also is hijacked. Of course, a small one. (I would play with this in a virtual machine. But a real machine with a possible infection, that's a very different matter. The machine and contents needs to be isolated.)

Can you verify the presence or absence of a virus on your computer at this point? Remember that not uncommonly, a virus will be deleted and it will "re emerge" after a power off power on cycle or some other system event.

Another possibility is wallet software that has been rewritten.

Regardless, one must take the point of view that that computer, and it's contents, are unsafe for financial transactions.

Technically you wouldn't;t even need to confirm/send the transaction but just try copying and pasting the clipboard address into the recipient address field. If it changes again then clean up your PC ASAP.
In the future always check the first and last few characters in the address field to make sure. Luckily you managed to save yourself this time Smiley
1135  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trying to set up a crypto company on: November 12, 2017, 05:20:36 PM
There are pros and cons with starting this as an actual business.
The biggest advantage would be the new clients you could gain as well as having a credible site to show the service you offer.
However, if you start this as a business not only will you need to register a company and become personally liable, you'd also need to apply for certain licenses which could cost more to keep than the profits you end up making.
If you don't want to expand too much and are happy ;helping' out your fiends as it is then I'd advise against it. You stand more to lose than gain.

1137  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency-backed loans on: November 12, 2017, 01:36:29 PM
How would this work exactly? I remember there was a user on here who borrowed some BTC for their physical coin project (CyptoVest) but then when the time came to pay the loan back the price per BTC had skyrocketed making the loan much more difficult to pay back.
I get sceptical when I see these ventures. I think the best way to go about it is to agree on a fixed value. Say a loan of $10,000 was taken out for a one year period. The loan should be paid back as $10,000 in real value in either FIAT or BTC at the market rate at the time when the loan is due.
