1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: LTCRabbit.com X11 mining - earn LTC with 40% less energy on: July 22, 2014, 10:07:47 AM
I want to mine x11 behing a http(s) proxy... any way with ltcrabbit?

i can't get "stratum+tcp" trought but where enable to mine on a scrypt p2pool...

I would expect more results of x11 cpu mining.

The crazy thing is, it looks like when i go to a LTC pool i get the same a day as on this ltcrabbit? so why should i use X11 instead of crypt if i get the same results ?
I know x11 got a lower powercost but for the rest ?

How many coins you earn from PoS?

depends on how many u have in the wallet, how more u have, how more u get with pos.

fky~
This is not a fair launch.

whats wrong?

No WIN wallet, no pool.

appears ipominer has a pool up, hashhot should be getting one up if not already.

Windows wallet? sorry, but I point you in the direction of https://www.virtualbox.org and http://www.ubuntu.com

i got 1 gpu active on ipominer ( never heard from it, but looks exactly like multipool.us, looks good! )
Any timeline, any news for choose for this coin dev?

Edit: sorry ipominer, i changed to altpooler ( got good pasts on that servers. )

come to our IRC  #buylater
comming,

Anyway altpooler, ur settings are not right, 1st: on getting started u say to use the x11 mod ( this coin is x13 ) on both ways i wont get anywork. PM me when pool is fixed

Settings are correct, the getting started page is wrong, updated.

Thank u, i still cant get it work. first u see he is loading the kernel, then nothing happen for 1-2 minutes, then i see a flash with no server and i get a black screen for a few minutes more ( just nothing happen ).
I mine many times on altpooler but i never had this kind of problem.
I switched back to ipominer till i can join altpooler ( i saw there is 1 miner so yeah it should work but i dont know what's wrong? )

1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Navajo [NAV]- The Unbreakable Code [PoS/Anonymity/Privacy] on: July 21, 2014, 09:49:59 AM
ASKs are so flat that it's just unbelievable, we should be way ahead 1.2k now but noone wants to buy coins...

This coin on the navajo name is new, why should people buy it so fast?
Just wait till website is online, till advertise program is ready and the nav tech is 100% implanted.

Be happy that the price is ~low~ at the moment, i buy whatever i can, because i am 101% sure that the price will go up soon when the 3 parts i just told are finished and up and running.

I dont know if u have nav coins? but what u can do to let the price go up is tell people about it, tell them the price is low, but also high if u look how old this NAV coin is. Let them buy some ( it dont have to be much, but just what u can miss ). They will enjoy the rising prices soon.

There are so many sh1t coins in the top 20 from coinmarketcap this coin can destroy all ( and it will when everything is finished ), this is a long term project and not a coin what will get pumped and dumped and in 1 month everybody forgots that coin. NAV is the only coin with this special anon tech ( Navajo ) , its created by the nav dev himself. Darkcoin / cryptonight etc is nothing incompare with NAVAJO.

And again; be happy the price is low so u can buy it for a nice price, soon u wont see it for this low price and u will think: wtf i should had buy it.

I've got a few hundred Ks. Call me however you want but so far we did not see any anon tech - only words and images. And without it the coin only(or so) offers remarkable dev who is taking care of it. However it might be not enough to be visible amongst all old & new coins.

First of al i didnt make an flame up to you, absolutely not, this because you say: call me however you want.
I just made an advise about what you, i and the rest can do untill nav is implanted in the new wallet. Beta fase is not even over yet, and i dont see the problem if we have a delay for a few days, maybe a few weeks.
I agree with u that we need some news about the timeline, this because waiting is not any problem, but the problem is we don't know how long to wait. I think we get news today, and i am 100% sure it will be fine.

1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: truely anonymous altcoins on: July 21, 2014, 08:30:48 AM
Monero seems to be where the smart money is in anonymous coins. No premine, instamine, or other silliness. It's very user-unfriendly now, but that lack of user-friendliness is just more upside for those willing to invest now. I'm considering it myself, but can't find a way to make a cold wallet. May just trust bter.com or other exchange with the coins until I can figure out how to make a cold wallet without messing with the client.

Note, however, that any altcoin is subject to the spin-off technique, which is likely to start happening very soon so make your money in alt-ledgers while you can Wink

Pretty much this. CryptoNote is clearly the future and the only legitimate way to do 100% anon transactions. Dark Wallet doesn't fully solve several issues, Darkcoin is subjected to node attacks, and the other CN coins haven't got the good combo of solid + solid launch without shaddy stuff. It's pretty much guaranteed it will reach Darkcoin prices this year. GUI wallet is already available.

Hm, i dont think its cryptonote.
Navajo coin with the nav technologie will make 100% anon. That's the only coin with those tech, many coin dev's want to have/buy this tech from the navajo dev.
In the future there are no plans to sell de tech for 100% ( i mean, in the future they can use a part of the tech, but never the 100% version from navajo technology)

just check this forum for the navajo coin and read the whitepaper for how to read that nav tech works. Ur mouth will fall open and u would take ur words back about cryptonote what is not 100% anon.

OMG, I'm starting to have a bad feeling!  That's not good considering how many coins I'm holding.

Seriously? Where is the foundation when we need them?  There is a website to launch.  Timeline to discuss. Investors to attract. Cryptsy?? I understand SoopY's sick, but that shouldn't mean the entire project has to come to a screeching halt. There are things other than core development that need attention.

The more time that passes, the more I wonder if the foundation title is taken seriously. I really haven't seen any substantial community outreach from them since the double spend.  Only vague posts that are lacking in substance.  Considering SoopY's health, you'd think they would jump in and take the load off him.  Most of us on this message board would instantly come to SoopY's rescue, help keep investors in the loop, and make our best effort to save the coin.  What makes these guys so apathetic? Perhaps they don't even exist.  Perhaps they don't care.  I don't know.  Whatever the reason, even simple things are not moving forward.

Can't someone contact Cryptsy?  Launch the website?  Post updates that have substance?  Does SoopY have to be the gatekeeper for all this?  Aren't there 2 other devs (that's what the navajocoin fund thread says)?  My god this stuff is simple.

Times of crises are times to exceed customer expectations.  Sorry if I'm offending anyone. I put a lot of money into this coin because I loved the whitepaper.  I'm starting to dislike it now because of the organization, or lack thereof.

-nunl

PS> No offense to the coin master SoopY.  I really wish he had the support he needs.  If he doesn't get that help soon, all his efforts will be for nothing.

CONTINUE TO HOLD YOUR COINS AND EVEN BUY MORE, IF YOU HAVE MANY - IF YOU DUMP THEM NOW, THE WHALE WILL BUY THEM UP.

Yes, i understand nousernamesleft what he want to say. I like soopy verry much, and i know it will be fine with navajo coin, i am also sure this coin will raise in the coinmarketcap list to at least the top 20 soon.
But if he sell his coins, i will be the whale what buy everything.
My advise for nousernamesleft is just to wait, hold ur coins and during the time we get more info u can focus on an other coin ( just mine some other and sell it ) but believe me u will fall out in tiers when the nav tech will be implanted and the website goes life.

Also i hope some other dev ( if there are others ) will keep us up-to-date on this topic, because when i see a message like nousernamesleft did, it shows that activity from the foundation is verry important.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Slimcoin : Proof of Burn NEW BLOCK GEN, Mineable by low power computer! on: July 21, 2014, 05:55:05 AM
Hey guys

I want to test mining this coin, but i got some problems with the miner, it seems only a cpu miner ( what is good in my eyes ) but no matter what coin, i can use the cpu miner without any problems.

Only for this slim coin, i downloaded the slimminer ( just minerd / cpu i saw ) i made a .bat file and use -a dscrypt, anyway i start bat, cmd opened and close directly.

Here my total code ( just simple, but on other coins it use all my 8 threads )

minerd.exe -a dscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.slimcoinpool.com:3333 -u SPcJFBygWhYcA7fBjbL3RwMccXHaCE96JY -p 1
i also tried without .exe, same result.

For the people who cant sync, i also downloaded the wallet 5 min ago, and the block chain is to old and the sync wont help that ( till dev fixed ) what u can do is download the blockchain and put that in ur roaming / slimcoin folder.
Anyway that should fix it ( on any wallet ), i didnt test it because i first want my miner get work.

EDIT: roflcopter, i used dscrypt als algorithm, when i changed it to -a dcrypt all fine -.-

The Devs math is very poor   ...not sure he is someone you want running a coin.

6500 blocks at 1 block reward each = 6500 coins min unless  = typo or dumb dev

also dumb is an announcement this far in the future ....so is proposed launch on August 10 2014 or is it on September 8 2014   ...Huh?

I think ur dumb, because 10-8-2014 is or 10 august but never september because september is the 9 month.

Before u start calling people dumb, it's beter to watch in a mirror
