Excellent.
Modern art is sometimes intense.
But most of it is the pure shit you could expect from "artists" that are here only for money...
1122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French Election on: May 10, 2017, 01:00:54 PM
I dont find either approach particularly good, when we are talking about future of country. Both create new enemies every day.

Yes, you are right that nobody likes the bully.

Yet, nobody likes cowards and traitors either. In the past couple of years, german government showed that it is willing to sell high tech weapons to Saudi Arabia and its ideological islamist allies, yet it is unwilling to protect its own borders and citizens against incursions and acts of terror.

Middle road, please.

Agreed on the part where Germans (but not only them) are selling weapons accross the world.
I just find it funny how the 5 biggest weapons dealers are the 5 countries in the permanent security council of the UN...

For the "protection of its own border" let's all be clear: anyone thinking that closing borders is an efficient way to protect a country against terrorism is so dumb they shouldn't have the right to vote.
1123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French Election on: May 10, 2017, 12:06:09 PM
Btw remember schröder? Unlike the UK we germans had the balls to say no to the iraq invasion.

I don't think the Germans are in a position to take the high ground on starting wars lol.

Considering how table turned in the last decades I'd say they can give you a few lessons...

USA are the warmongers crazy assholes now. Germans are pacifist guys who understood their mistakes. Americans are arrogant jerks who believe they should rule the world.

Par an oui pardon!
1125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: May 10, 2017, 11:42:10 AM
LOL, this poll is so true. When I was a kid, Every time we got vaccinated at school, I got sick (with the same disease I was vaccinated to fight). Hell, even my mother told me to escape school on the day of vaccination, after I got sick so many times. After that I never got sick again, except being sick of Cold or Flu.

Dude... You're a genius.
Man that's the very basic idea of vaccins...
You get the disease but the disease will be too weak to actually hurt you...

If you get badly sick after vaccin it means that you would most certainly die if catching the disease without vaccin...
1126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: May 10, 2017, 10:27:47 AM
Many medical professions are afraid of openly admitting that vaccines are not healthy. They get black balled and lose their jobs. I know of a few doctors (my brother is a Chiropractor who deals with this a lot) that do not vaccinate their children but do not tell anyone.

The pharmacy industry is one of the most powerful i dustries in the world. You will comply.

Yes, medical staff do not use vaccines for themselves and their children. It's just a salary for them and they will not talk about harm, because they will lose their jobs.

Sure...
You do know that in civilized countries vaccination is mendatory right? So there is no choice the kids also get vaccination.
Moreover, medical staff takes MUCH MORE vaccins than you do as they are in a flu environment.
My mother in law is a medic and she usually takes 2 to 5 vaccins a year, depending on what is happening at the hospital.

1129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: May 09, 2017, 12:02:07 PM
taxing is robbing the honest and paying the poor
rich and dishonest people always getaway with taxes

In there current form that's quite true...
But a very simple idea could be taxation of salaries at the source and then taxation of companies on the turnover and not on the net result.

That would be simple and unavoidable.

Wahou...

1133  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The problem with atheism. on: May 09, 2017, 10:19:21 AM
Life does not have any other meaning other than to survive to the next generation.  There is no grand plan, no heaven in the clouds etc.

In the end, it does not matter what you believe, when we die we die.  There is no life after death no matter what and how hard you believe.

That's where you're wrong.
There is no proof of a great plan or heaven or whatever yeah.
But there is no proof of the contrary either. And it's not like we understand everything in the universe.

There might be a God. It doesn't mean you have to believe in it of course, but it's still a possibility. No need to abide to a dogma your whole life for a possibility though xD
Have you ever seen to evidence that does not exist? The very notion of proof assumes the existence of something you need to prove. This is not an argument. There is no God because there is no evidence of its existence. Agree?

Completely stupid, if that was the case then there was no atoms before 19th century because there was no proof of its existence? It's not because there is no proof of something that it doesn't exist!
1134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: May 09, 2017, 10:14:48 AM
Tax always reminds me that I don't really own a thing in these world. I can't even call my profession a property or my own because of that tax. Tax it's not just theft, it's a unfairness of mankind.

Exactly.
Thanks for noticing.
Property is an artificial concept and tool created and used by human society.

But in the end, the only thing that make an object yours is the common agreement that this object is yours.
If whole society decides that something isn't yours but theirs... Then you're alone against the whole world. You have a different vision than everyone else and... Well you'll either forfeit or have to fight against the whole world to keep it.

The concept of property is simply an agreement between everyone. It's not a natural thing that can't be changed.

1136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The problem with atheism. on: May 09, 2017, 10:06:21 AM
Let me start by making it clear that I am an atheist.

The problem I have with the atheist agenda is that is stops at 'the non existence of God' - the same logic is not applied consistently to the whole of the human condition.

If I examine my life and use this same 'spaghetti monster' logic, I am drawn to the same conclusions about all my actions and activities - they are all as equally pointless and irrational as worshiping God.

If I rationally examine my sense of self I realize that it is just a genetic innovation - it encourages self preservation - genetic selfishness creates a genetically induced illusion of self worth.

My desire to survive is itself as delusional as a belief in God - pain and my fear of pain are a genetically induced survival mechanism I am in thrall to.

If I believe in God and survive then it is no different to not believing in God and surviving - nature will select for survival.

But my actual survival is meaningless whether I believe in God or otherwise.

This is the only conclusion that can be logically formed from a real examination of life.

Atheism is merely another tribal display - a peacock's tail trying to attract a mate through a verbal display of intelligence.

You're not wrong.
In fact when you think about it... Being atheist is as stupid as being religious.
The correct path for a logical human being is NOT atheism but agnostism.
The difference is that atheist means you BELIEVE there is no God... Which is stupid because there is no proof of that (how could there be). The path of being agnostic is better because you say "I don't know if there is a god or not because we lack evidences of God existence but we still have a lots of unexplained misteries". It's the same as atheism but in a more humble way of considering the problem.

I can't say I'm happy Macron won.
I'm just happy Lepen lost.

But not so sure it will be much better...

Brace yourself for 5 difficult years my fellow citizens. If he really does what he announced I swear to God you'll see me attacking cops in a few weeks with the millions of people he'll try to destroy Wink

Lol, whole France Insoumise will be in the street trying to take the fucker down if he actually does even just 10% of what he said.
The guy is completely crazy. He's the third worst possible choice of this election. Only worst choices were Fillon and MAYBE Lepen. Honestly I'm not even sure Lepen was really worse...
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ProtonMail discovers a security issue in Blockchain.info on: May 03, 2017, 03:32:26 PM
The tweet is already deleted, it means either the security issue is done with, either they're working as hard as they can on it Wink

Considering they KNOW where the issue is and the hacker don't, I bet 99% on Blockchain.info.

it is not deleted, i am seeing it right now. it just says they have found a security issue in blockchain.info and asks then to contact protonmail guys. and someone asked them why twett about it and not directly contact them (my thoughts exactly) and they answered they did that first.

Quote
@blockchain Hi http://blockchain.info  team, we have discovered a security issue. Please get in touch with us ASAP at security@protonmail.ch

But the tweet is no longer on their timeline no?
Sorry I'm not a tweeter specialist :/

Anyway they answered so it means they're taking care of the problem.
1139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 03, 2017, 03:28:46 PM
Quite simple. If you believe and God exists, you'll be rewarded. If God doesn't exist, you lose nothing. Therefore believing is more optimal strategy in life (and beyond), which atheists simply can't agree with and humbly resign themselves to...

False.

What you're talking about is the Pascal bet, that's an old philosophical problem handed out by a French philosopher (Pascal).

It's wrong for many different reasons:
-What if there is a God but not the one you spent your life believing in?
-What if there is a God but he will judge you on your ability to think by yourself and not blindly think about god?
-What if life is just a test and after it your score is based not on your faith but for example on how much pleasure you had?
-What if there is no God at all and you spent your whole life believing in nothing important?

Pascal bet is stupid. It's based on wrong assumption and shouldn't be followed.
1140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 03, 2017, 03:26:26 PM
Exactly. Human beings, unlike animals or plants were gifted with free will. When you or someone do evil upon others, blaming it on God is but an act of cowardice. You have free will to be responsible for everthing you decide to do in your life. Good and bad.

There has been also recent trend in convergence between science and spirituality as it should be. Those two are not in opposition and never should have. They describe two sides, material and spiritual of existence.

Cool, so then why do we need God?
If whatever we do is our own action, if evolution is real... Where does God enters in the field? Why should we even care about him?
