1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 23, 2017, 04:46:17 AM
When it comes of gambling i always do limit my self because once i don't limit my limitation i can lose all my money with gambling once i lose that is why i play gambling for short term of time because once i see profit in my account i stop and control my emotion to not continue playing
That is the most important thing you have to do when in gambling because when our emotion is so high, the risk is too high as well.
We have to consider that we are using money to play and excessive gambling could lead to a bigger loses, that's not the purpose why we are doing it, we should go for the entertainment.

after setting a limits, we must avoid for greediness because this is the another risk that we can face it. if we are winning in more than 3 times, then i am sure our greedy will be increase too and it could attract us to have big passion and want to continue the games.  this time we need to listen to ourself and no matter what it is, we must stop the games.

Yeah it doesn't have to end with just setting up limitsnfor yourself because you can disregard anything once you're in the middle of a an enoying game. You have to make sure you also set up ways on how to fulfill that limit. Self control should come along with that limitnthatbyou set up
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 23, 2017, 04:36:38 AM
Gambling cannot be considered as an earning mean. It can be done for fun with only affordable loss of money.  All addicts have not that strong will power or determination that can help them to overcome addiction by themselves. Some really need attention from others, especially the closer ones with whom they share everything.

Lets stop this for fun issue and stuff. You cant possibly think that you could have fun in a gambling aite. Afterall you are only playing because you could get some money, otherwise you wont really have any fun at all. Sometimes it is hard to acknowledge this issue but atleast now you are aware of it
I have a little different opinion in this matter. First I also thought that all gamblers want money but then I realized this kind which does gambling for fun and it is their whole purpose.
They do not bet more than they can afford to lose and when they win, it obviously makes them happy. But if one is not able to put limits then he must give up.

Giving up gambling is not really easy but still doable. Even trading experts and whales are also asking people to trade and invest what you can afford to lose.

Yes giving up something is not easy to do when you are addicted to it and gambling is one of that but if you are determined with you're target to quit then you will be successful with it. All we need to have is time and effort and of course with the support of our family.

In an effort to stop gambling, we must keep trying, stop gambling takes time. All we have to do is keep on trying, do not stop trying until we actually quit gambling. Never fail. The failure to stop gambling is when we stop trying.

yeah when addiction, for sure it was difficult to stop by forced, it all takes time of course. If you continue to lose at gambling I'm sure you could to stop gambling but if you still have a victory in gambling it will be increasingly difficult to stop, as you would hope to win it again.

A lot of cases of addiction doesn't end with losses. An addiction won't forcibly stop when he's git huge losses already. Some even gets more driven to continue gambling when that happens. It's a long process to quit if you've already become addicted.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 22, 2017, 04:19:22 AM
I predict a Floyd mayweather victory even though I think the fight is going to be boring because all they've done is marketing themselves through the throwing of invectives at each other instead of concentrating on training in order to sell us a great fight.

Have you heard about the change of gloves from 10lbs to 8lbs? It may not seem that much but that could be a game changer there. The only way connor can win in this is by knocking out mayweather and i don't see that happening with a much bigger glove than what he's used to in the ufc. So this in a way raises connor's chances against floyd
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins needed for martingale on: August 22, 2017, 04:12:25 AM
It all depends on your starting capital, if your starting Bitcoin value is small you can keep doubling for a long time until you eventually win them. I haven't seen a lopsided game for more than 20 times without playing the opposite so I will suggest a martingale value that you can st least double upto the thirtieth time and you should be fine.

That would be quite a huge amount if you go to x30 but its the same when you do it in btc or fiat. To at least have a decent chance, you need to have a big capital and expect losses along the way. Though i don't trust martingale to really give me profits because itbhas been proven to be a sham especially if you do it for a long time
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: August 22, 2017, 04:08:01 AM
I usually am happy.
But the joy passes quickly. I always try to be cold-blooded in the games. Here you need to calculate the possibility of winning, so you need to happy a little bit.

I agree with you and that's the attitude of a serious professional gambler; you don't get carried away by your wins but you limit the celebration and forge ahead either to play some more or quit playing entirely. I'm this way and my celebrations if there ever will be one are controlled and last a couple of minutes or hours.
that is actually what should every single player do when react to a winning.

keep calm and don't feel so happy too early. as you might could lost again in the next few games . bankroll management should really used here . and then you can expect a real winning with no pain in the end. be a gambler who have a lot of skills in managing bankroll and your happiness will be so real.

Don't feel too happy early? For me the main reason why most people gamble is simply to be happy. Whether its about winning, or earning money, gambling brings happiness to people simply by doing the deed. Imagine how that happiness would be amplified if younwin a good amount
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 22, 2017, 03:56:27 AM
Of course I will earn all my winnings so that if I'm going to gamble again I have bitcoin to be used. And the half of my winnings I will withdraw it so that i can help my parents with our financial needs. But I will need to control myself in gambling so that I can manage my bitcoin well.

Helping your parents or family with your winnings are laudable but what if you don't win that much? For me I channel all my winnings back into my bankroll and if need be gamble with it again. If I keep winning then I move some into my bitcoins savings; that's basically my cycle.

Lol you may just end up wasting all your winnings there if you have plans on gambling with it again. For me, it depends on how big my einnings are. If it's really big, then there won't be problems with sharing it to anyone. If it's smaller, then i have to first prioritize my family in thinking about what to do with my winnings
1127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: July 25, 2017, 09:46:46 AM
The purpose of marriage is the creation of a family in which a child can naturally be born. But how can a man become pregnant from a man? This is a mental disorder, not love.

What's wrong if two men or two women love each other? Religion is the only one tabooing these kind of love. Love is love and it knows no boundaries. We shouldn't be judgemental about it and i think gay couples whether they're men or women needs to be respected. Though religion should also be respected and gay couples shouldn't be forcing like church marriages and the likes that are not allowed in a certain religion. They should be allowed to be married in civil though and enjoy he benefits of any lawful husband and wife.
1128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are we brainwashed? on: July 25, 2017, 09:42:15 AM
No Doubt!! Since we born, we are bombed by info to be slaves of their interests.
I completely agree with you, because if we look at how politicians use us, how their electorate, or even how information or other factors influence us from television and other media, we are no more than a herd of rams, At its discretion.

We always have a choice. Though with everything that's broadcasted is probably manipulated by a few powerful people, the decision to be swayed is always with us. If we choose to be brainwashed then we will be. Look for information yourself. Go beyond what mainstream.media is telling you. Go outside. There's always another side of the news and stories that we hear eveyday
1129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is happening with our world and humanity on: July 25, 2017, 09:39:00 AM
Im watching a documentation about the vietnam war.

I dont want to talk about the vietnam war itself, but about a thought that doesnt want to leave my head.

You bomb our people from above the sky and that is why we are wearing bombs to kill your people.

How does it come that after the first world war, the second world war and all the other wars following didnt change us?
How can it be that today we still have torture, oppression, murder and that even supported by governments that lead us?

Sometimes when i see stuff like that i am not sure anymore if humanity still has a future...

As much as there are a lot of negativity going on in this world right now, there are still a lot of good in this world. And i think we should focus more on thay instead of the negativity because it needs more of our attention. Look around you, help someone in need, show respext to people and elders. Share. If we can't find humanity in others, let others find it in us.
1130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Into the future on: July 25, 2017, 09:36:48 AM
Have you seen yourself in the future with bitcoin?

Honestly i do and i think i'm making the right choice in making btc a major part of my income. I probably will put a lot more focus in btc as time goes because i see now how i can make money out of it. More than what i make with my current job. Less stress, less drama and i can have my time to myself and my family. I consider it really a blessing when btc was introduced to me.
1131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: July 25, 2017, 09:04:26 AM
Everything is affected now by money and it can be said that money controls a lot in this world. Sadly, that's the case. I don't know when it started but obviously nowadays, if you have money you have power. You'll be influential and you can bend the law if you feel like it. People who have a lot of money prettymuch enjoy every perks out there. People work for money, people commit crime for money.
1132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: July 25, 2017, 09:03:50 AM
Some institutions like Church tend to predicate love and some people inside of their system are evil as f*ck. This doesnt mean all people are bad, love really exists!

It does. And its everywhere. It doesn't necessarily have to be in a specific religion. We can see random acts of love pretty much every single day. Simple things that show care towards others. Love isn't and shouldn't be complicated. It's probably the only thing that can save us from ourselves.
1133  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: July 25, 2017, 08:43:16 AM
"Laziness" that's the number one answer for me. Your body also need some physical activity in order to be fit but, if you let technologies do it for yourself then face the consequences.

It's not technology's fault that people sit on their asses instead of working out. Laziness is a person's own fault because whether or not it's convenient for them with technology, if a person is lazy and doesn't do anything about it, then its no use. Technology can push forward society's advancement and that's always a good thing. The negative effects of technology are dependent on people and can be negated if people will only do something about it.
1134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teenagers high on weed lets guy drown to death and laughs about it on video on: July 25, 2017, 08:38:35 AM
The guy didn't drown the victim himself. Imagine if he tried to help out the victim while being high on pot, it could've ended worse for boh them them also. Although the act of laughing at someone drowning is not really a good thing, that person didn't actually cause what happened.
1135  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: July 25, 2017, 06:13:54 AM
Definitely you should go for an education not only for the economic part, the people and experiences that can know can give you some purpose in life and significanse.

Its not more on education nowadays. To get a decent paying job, you have to have a diploma to show your would be employers and bosses. Some would even prefer specific colleges where you went to. The market for jobs is a vast jungle and one of the requirements you should have to survive would be a degree, whatevee degree that might be. So kids now don't really have a choice but to go to college.
1136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexbots. Will you be indulging? on: July 25, 2017, 06:03:46 AM
They are machines, so i don't consider it a crime.

Sexbot is not a crime, but it is crazy. The existence of sexbot shows how mad humans in the present day. Do not you feel disgusted when you hear the word sexbot? Do not you imagine how disgusted if you have sex with a robot?

I agree with both of you that its not a crime though i also find it sick to consider having sex with something that's not human. I mean, i'm not being judgemental but i think its normal to think that having sex with a robot is not for the normal thinking person. This can be used for research purposes though but if you're doing in for pleasure, i don't know what to think about you.
1137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: July 25, 2017, 06:01:23 AM
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
So we are going to let the criminals, murderers, and killers live and let them kill another victim until god take them? Is that what you are implying?
Then maybe we're all too ignorant if that happens.
I did'nt tell that we let the criminals kill another victims.  There are various punishment awaits them. If we kill those murderers, criminals, then what is the difference of them to us? Did'nt we could call murderers too? Not only death penalty coupd punish them. There is other way.

The death penalty exists to suppress the crime rate. The greatest punishment is enforced so that people are afraid to commit a crime. The death penalty was not done carelessly. The death penalty is done in an effective way, so that the perpetrator does not suffer too much pain, the death penalty is done by directly making the perpetrator feel nothing.

There's a difference between the authorities killing a convicted criminal and a criminal killing an innocent person. So if you asked what's going to be the difference between you and a criminal if you kill him, there's a big difference. I think though that before we go to discussing whether it should be implimented or not, we have to look first at the person's innocence. Most of the time, when people don't have the money to defend themselves and they go against a powerful person, they get convicted though they're innocent. Anyone who's implimenting death penalty should first make sure of the person's innocence or guilt
1138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate christians? on: July 25, 2017, 05:56:46 AM
Hate muslims, hate christians, i don't undrstand why we have to be so divided by these religions. Why can't we all belong to the same religion which is humanity. I find it foolish to hate someone you don't even know personally just because they read the bible or the koran. Perhaps its just in our nature anyways but it's really disturbing and i think we all have to wake up and realize it doesn't make any sense
1139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: July 25, 2017, 05:49:01 AM
As with everything else in life, all is OK in moderation

True. Everything is about quantity. Lost my brother to alcohol but if you can limit yourself to one or to drinks it is fine

In my place also, I know a few people who lost their lives as a result of alcohol abuse (including a few friends and relatives). But still, I would blame the individual than blaming alcohol for their deaths.

Indeed. We're the ones in control of what we do. In moderation, drinking alcohol can sometimes be beneficial to our health. We all are aware of what excessive drinking can cause yet most of us are not taking it seriously. Of course you have to follow precautions like never drive when drunk or don't get drunk at all. Excessive drinking over time will cause harm for your liver as well. So really, we knowbwhat to do, we just have to have the resolve to control ourselves
1140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: July 25, 2017, 05:45:52 AM
The government really dont care about the effects on the people, they are just concerned about the money they will make, If the entire USA eventually accepts the so called use of marijuana, its going to be catastrophic  for the entire country.

The pharma and drug cartels have managed to convince the people that marijuana is something evil. That is not the case. It is even less harmful than legal substances such as alcohol and tobacco. So there is no point in banning it.

I agree with you there dude. Its been well proven that alcohol and nicotine have much more negative effect on someone's health than weed. And further studies also indicate that weed is a magic drug that can be used to cure certain illnesses including cancer. Though excessive use of it may not be good, that goes for pretty much everything that is easily accessible to people.
