1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 15, 2017, 06:33:31 PM
I started gambling back in college when my buddies asked if I wanted to join their bets in NBA. They had a local bookie to accept bets and it was a terrible rate come to think of it. Was probably 18 (or probably less? I forgot.), when I started. Though in some countries at that age it was still illegal to gamble, well the bookie does have standards.
1122  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 15, 2017, 06:29:18 PM
What did you do to make you realized to quit gambling or to stop playing gambling for good? But when playing gambling you always get happy nor nervous of playing it however if you won most of the time you will excite your self more to play another round till lose every thing also maybe you push your self too much to play gambling that is why you already lose your confident to play gambling anymiore.
That's why you should limit yourself while gambling. Set a threshold, after reaching the threshold for that day, stop, just stop gambling. Doesn't matter if you lost or won. Just don't gamble for that day. This way you can stop playing for another round. When you feel like playing more, focus on something else.
Yes. This is also what I do. Regardless if I win or lose I always set an amount of money when I gamble. Then I stop. Controlling yourself will help you stop being addictive in gambling. It will still be your choice in the end.

That is a good way to control greed and that would help you have some way to compute your losses and wins. This can prevent us also from getting addicted and losing all our money. If you don't do this, expect that you'll lose money by the end of the day. The primary consideration here though is that you have to follow your own rules.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: primedice jackpot. on: June 15, 2017, 05:58:51 PM
There is a reason why it is being named the jackpot, it was because the percentage of hitting the jackpot are very low, but it is not totally impossible, with the huge number of players playing everyday at primedice, there would be a moment the jackpot would be hit eventually, it is just a matter of time and luck.
Yeah that is true. The chances for an individual player to hit the jackpot is really slim. It's probably even just 0.0000000001% to hit it, not sure about it that's just an illustration on how hard it would be. But since there are so many players this chance is still high for the casinos.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lego microSD card on: June 15, 2017, 03:33:12 PM
If you had a million dollars worth of bitcoin in that microSD card then that would be the most expensive toy around. Though if kid had it, he wouldn't be the envy of all other kids though. Tongue
1125  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is down too on: June 15, 2017, 03:28:37 PM
Every thing went down, this is expected. The prices went up too fast and it does not reflect what it should be. It was a small bubble that popped and now this is the correction. Though if you look at the history of bitcoins, this is normal and it has happened plenty of times in the past. So when this happens consider this as a opportunity to buy.
1126  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to reach 1btc on: June 14, 2017, 04:24:16 PM
Other than with cold hard cash, I've also been earning like $5-$10 worth of BTC a day doing surveys.  It's a pretty slow and tedious (though easy) way, but I figure over the course of the year (if I stick with it) it will add up.

Never knew you can earn that much on surveys. Though I think you spent plenty of time doing it everyday. I still think the stress and the amount of time spent on answering tons of repetitive surveys are worth it for the amount of money you are gaining from it. It will add up, but it will likely not be the same if you just had a day job.
1127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people create more than one BTC wallet ? on: June 14, 2017, 04:16:58 PM
A lot of reasons to be honest.

1. Anonymity
2. Easier management of funds
3. Separation of identities
4. Special transactions

Well, now that you think of it, there are so many that I may have not listed here. It varies per person and per need of that person generating more than one address/wallet.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain announces plan to create altcoin if BIP148 succeeds on: June 14, 2017, 03:59:01 PM
This is just them trying to implement a new altcoin that they would practically profit from by a huge margin if ever it will be launched. Typical business plans here in the cryptoworld. People just want to rule bitcoins, because if they do they will be rich. Greed is the primary consideration again here.
1129  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How erning over 100000 satoshi/wekly on: June 14, 2017, 03:48:49 PM
Faucet and captcha are a waste of time and money. Doing those thing will only make us bored in no time and not worth it.
The best way in here is joining signature campaign, or if your rank still low you could try social media  campaign or Sig alts.
yep its better to join signature campaign than doing faucet and captcha work, and join social campaign also if you want extra money or do trading altcoins.

True, that is in fact enough for anybody to be able to earn 0.001BTC per week. But really, there is so much work to be done just to gain 0.001BTC. It's actually so small that you should just have gone to work instead.
1130  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoinminers.com Domain for sale. on: June 14, 2017, 03:34:06 PM
This is a really nice domain name. If I had a bitcoin miner manufacturing or reseller business then this is the perfect domain name for it. Good luck selling this OP, good catch, you'll likely fetch a good price for this.

1132  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Nintendo Switch on: June 14, 2017, 03:16:26 PM
If you haven't bought one from that guy who showed interest yet, do consider converting your coins into virtual credit cards and then buy it from amazon or anywhere that accepts that card.

Also if you are buying from anyone online, do use escrow before sending anything. Better be safe than sorry.
1133  Economy / Goods / Re: Guitar Amp Company asking Which Cryptos to Accept on: June 14, 2017, 03:05:22 PM
Generally just accept those cryptocurrencies that are well traded and practically strong enough to not die in the near future. Bitcoins are a definite yes. Maybe you can check out ETH, XMR or LTC. Those are pretty good options too. Overall though, bitcoins will be the easiest to implement as there have been plenty of developers working on it.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling experiences : before and after bitcoins. on: June 09, 2017, 05:10:31 AM
My gambling experience? Well, it was great and fun. Gambling is like my leisure time, reliever and at the same time my favorite thing to do.
But when I lose bets it's just an okay for me because it's very usually in gambling industy. You need to be sports at any level. Relax and just have fun

Uhh did you read what this thread is about or you just basically commented for the sake of posting here? What the thread is discussing is about your experience before and after bitcoins became a popular means to gamble and not your general experience in gambling at the casinos. That is way different from what this thread is discussing.
1135  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▰ ◢/╲/\_ ParaDice.io - 1st Bitcoin Casino with Android App _/\╱\◣ ▰ on: June 09, 2017, 04:55:52 AM
I would have want to try out that jackpot. But looking at your house edge and the reputation of this casino, everyone should be cautious when playing here. House edge is more than 1% and the jackpot isn't wort it as it requires a high minimum bet to get it.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your best luck and worst luck gambling experience? on: June 09, 2017, 04:44:33 AM
For me it was losing two straight bets at 97% chances. Talk about bad luck. And I was betting about 0.1 bitcoins per bet and never thought it could be possible.

For my luckiest, I hit a plinko highest return at 1250 times my bet which was about 0.5 bitcoins when I hit it. Though at the time, prices of bitcoins were still low about only $200 a piece.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: June 09, 2017, 04:36:23 AM
The house makes money when people are losing, so I think it's in their interest to make it less likely that users will make money on it, that's why I think that's not a good idea, unless you're really into it for fun.
Obviously, whether or not some people will win or some people will not, the fact that they are winning or losing, some of it is gotten from the players pockets and other ways that they can get money. Ultimately, it's the house that is winning.

That is true, the house always wins in the end. There would be players that win but the amount of players that win are probably less than 1% of the total number of players if you look at it in the long run. Because gambling is the business of the casinos, they will always win in the end.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: June 09, 2017, 03:53:39 AM
I would mainly use the sites that have been around the longest. They survived all kinds of attacks on their platform and have a solid userbase that generates enough revenue to keep going even when there are some problems.

Avoid new sites, even if their bonusses are good. It's a recipe for disaster.
There is nothing wrong with trying a new site, but we must not deposit a lot of bitcoin there because there is the possibility they run away with the funds, so only play there if there is a new exciting game that you want to try out, after all no new sites with new games will emerge if no one plays in these new casinos and no one gives them a chance.

Depositing tons of money in a site is a stupid thing to do if you just want to try it out. Especially if you are joining those shady casinos popping up like mushrooms nowadays. I would suggest you do a bit of research before you dive into it. Just spend a few dollars and read some articles online about the casino. That would probably be enough to properly assess the new casino.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA FINALS (Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers) on: June 09, 2017, 03:49:28 AM
gsw has it, the most boring finals ever...

True! But really, can you consider this a win for GSW? They got like the best of the league in three points in just one team. They also have the most expensive roster in the league. They had freaking stupid durant that just can't wait to get a ring. They practically said at the start of the season, "hey whoever is good enough to join our team come and join us to beat Lebron's sorry ass". Stupid GSW. Go rage on me on this, but you guys know it in yourself how desperate this team is.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any sites where I can bet on markets with Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2017, 03:37:49 AM
Are you talking about binary trading? If you are then you can check out FortuneJack, they have that there where you can bet on whether the market will go up or down within a set time frame. Secondstrade was recommended before here, though what I don't like about it is that you deposit money to an address which really cost a lot because of the fees.
