1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think eSport gambling will become more popular than normal Sport betting? on: June 30, 2020, 07:09:09 AM
Do you think in the future people will bet more on eSport than actual Sport events? Let's discuss.

It is true that Esports are getting more popular these times of the pandemic but I doubt that it will ever be more popular than sports betting.

It is true that the viewership of each tournament is increasing but that we can't always relate that to betting since we can't always say that if there are a lot of people watching, there will be a lot of bets on it since not all of them are betting themselves. Sports bettors are not even watching the game itself, they watch the replay or just look at the result of their bet directly to the site.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 30, 2020, 06:35:53 AM
That is the same here in our country.

As far as I know, those old people, 60 and above are more vulnerable in this pandemic which is why they need to stay in their houses. I don't know about those people aged below 18. I think that is normal when it comes to lockdowns or maybe when it is curfew. There are cases there too of COVID in below 18 years of age and they are just so pitiful. Just imagine a 10-year-old being quarantined. Gamblers over 60 should just have fun doing it online.

Not many of the gamblers in their 60s and 70s are comfortable with the idea of online gambling. On top of that, gambling for them is an avenue for socializing. There will be no socializing if they do gambling online. I have said this previously... the clients for physical gambling differs a lot from those who indulge in online gambling. And this is the case in all the countries.

It is their decision though.

For me, those people over 60s should really stay at their homes. It is not advisable for them to go outside if they want something maybe they could use an application to let them buy that for them. If they really wanted to gamble, I think they should be also adapt from the situation and try online gambling. I know that it has no socializing at all or maybe boring for them but it is for their safety.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: What if this pandemic persists till the end of the year? on: June 30, 2020, 05:47:24 AM
Whoa! that will be a definitely take a toll on this industry as well as any growth we expect to see in the future. This pandemic has stalled so many projects and developments already. This has weakened so many economies inthis world and if this should really go on for another 6 months then surely most countries will end up with huge debts.

That would be the case, and I think that is what's happening with other countries now.

In our country, the debt was added and most of the people here are actually wondering where it went. They think that the government is corrupting the money but we never know what really is happening behind it. Either way, I hope that we will be having the vaccine before we meet another year so we can leave this hellish year behind.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: June 30, 2020, 03:00:12 AM
Yes possible. But still we are not living that type of society. Because we can't think it by considering one side only. We are taking our sallery by bank and also paying our bills from many kinds by using bank. So we need to change the whole system then it will force people to cope up with it then it will be easy to live without bank.

Not all of us accept our salary from the bank and pay our bills through the bank.

Most of the people are just actually being handed their salary; weekly or every 15th and 30th day. Most of those people who accept their salaries in banks are people working under the government, while not all of them do that. They can live without banks, when it comes to loans, there are other third parties that accept loans not just banks. The only problem we have if we will be using cryptocurrencies is its acceptability.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is More Popular Than Traditional Banks on: June 30, 2020, 02:31:39 AM
Only 4852 people ? i guess that's not enough numbers to really determine the popularity and percentage of people who trust Bitcoins over Banks.
Atleast in my opinion a 100k respondents is really a convincing number.

Managing that would be really hard to be honest.

You need people from different countries to achieve that. We might be able to create spreadsheets and send it online for people to answer since we can't really go personally to people right now because of the pandemic. I guess right now that is a fine result and another thing is that it is said by the OP that Millenials vote over banks, which is the probable users of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the future.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 30, 2020, 01:10:24 AM
After legalizing bitcoin in India, bitcoin trading in India exploded in mid-May. Over the past month, there has been data indication, indicating that more bitcoin has changed hands on local, peer to peer exchange in India than before.

If this continues, with the way Indian's are going about bitcoin trading. The Indian market is likely to hold a great potential and importance for the future of the crypto economy. Since people in India is betting big on bitcoin

I just hope it continues

There is another talk that the Indian government might ban again Bitcoin. I don't know why are they going back and forth like this since I see a good future of Bitcoin with them. I guess they are so scared of what might happen with traditional currencies and the banks if this popularity continues.

Here's an article about it
1127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: June 28, 2020, 11:29:53 AM
Mistakes in  trading are bad for us but yes it is not wrong not everyone make mistake, But if you can fix these mistakes in this trading market then you can be deceived again and again. people learn from mistake. But it is useless to make the mistake again and again.

It is not that bad since we are learning from it.

As long as you are keeping those mistakes, those losses as a way to learn, then it is really fine. You should not really keep those losses as an obstacle, you look at it as a shaping mechanism since if we walk the right path we will be able to adjust to the way we should be. Mistakes are inevitable as a human, we are not perfect creatures. Continuous mistakes might mean two things, either you are meant for another and the other might mean you should never give up.

Markets sometimes can be brutal but don't let that stop you from learning, from having a profit.
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 Things have to do to become a Good Crypto Trader on: June 28, 2020, 10:29:28 AM
3 ) Never Go for Revenge Trading : I have seen many times that when Even a Small loss happens, many of us will just go with double Amount in next trade just because we can't accept loss & wanted to recover that with injecting double Amount ! It's really Silly Boys !! How you can be sure that your that trade will go on perfect way 100% Huh

I once was proud with betting like this in the past.

I thought that it is a good idea to try Martingale in investing or trading but most of them led to my bad trades and investments. It is really hard to adjust in this market at first but when you are used to it, even losses are just a norm. I keep on saying this to some of the people that ask me about investing and trading cryptocurrency, keep on reading. Knowledge is power.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: June 28, 2020, 09:58:44 AM
Today Team Secret and Team Liquid will compete for the final position against Nigma in Esport dota 2. Does anyone have tips regarding the two teams? considering that in the match I watched Liquid team win and both teams were equally good  Grin , Thanks before. I already got this thread about esport news

Go with Team Secret.

It is not that I am a fan of Team Secret but I think this is a no-brainer since Team Secret is a powerhouse of itself in the past. The only difference now is the meta and the online tournaments but still, I will go with Team Secret here. Also, I still can't get over how Liquid really just invite all of the ex-Alliance team to be a Team Liquid, yeah, I'm still thinking about it, they could do better.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 28, 2020, 09:19:23 AM
Your life was never in any danger. Not in a danger from this pandemic at least.

If you're not over 60 years old you have nothing to fear and if you are there's no reason why you should go gamble in a casino. Rent out a boat and go fishing or something and have one less thing to worry about.

It's good they're opening casinos. Every person should measure their own risk and be able to choose. I'm tired of the government choosing for me.

Children as young as thirteen have died after contracting Covid-19.  Your statement is factually not true.  I'll stop short of saying it is a lie, but it is seriously incorrect.

I agree with Timelord2067, in our country, 60 years old are required to stay at home and children 18 below are also treated the same, maybe they have weaker immune system so the authorities required them to stay at home.

1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 28, 2020, 08:47:26 AM
I love chess games, in fact, I downloaded it on my phone to give some room playing online while in quarantine.
For there will be a place where we can include this in online/sports betting it might get interesting for oldies to participate as well or those chess lovers will get into it. Or maybe I consider myself for this and maybe this could also help to promote this game as most of the new generation had giving no/less interest in learning rather than those ROS and many other online games.

I never understand fully on how to play chess even though I tried hard to learn it. These days even school good kids are playing good chess games and it also make their brain strong. In some countries, like Japan, chess is compulsory for the kids to develop their thinking power on their brains. However, I doubt if there is any scope for the betting on chess.

I never thought that gambling in chess is a thing too but I guess it is. All I know is that some people are actually streaming playing online but I never thought that it would be something that people could bet on.
1132  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: June 27, 2020, 10:55:14 AM
I think that if there are no banks in the world, those peoplr lle who are really wealthy will have a huge chunk of money from everyone. There is a chance also that we will gwt back to barter system.

These wealthy people might have huge vaults in their houses.

Either way, banks might've been discovered since rich businessmen will still find their way to create these banks. Either way, somewhere in our country, barter is getting popular. Lots and lots of people are posting things online and people are being addicted to it in some way. I don't think that trading is addicting but in a way, it is.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 27, 2020, 10:25:17 AM
The government is doing everything to balance the situation, they can’t just stopped working and let the virus killed the economy. I know there are so many irregularities but I believe every government is doing their best, its hard to run a country where people have no coordination at all. They’ll save many as much as they can, and I sure the economy must continue to work so they can still face many challenges in the future.

It is really hard since they made a lot of mistakes to start with.

I know that they are doing their best but my countrymen are such perfectionists and they argue with every wrong mistake the government has made. I can understand that since they are the leaders and as long as they can, they should really avoid making mistakes since they are holding the lives of a lot of people with those decisions or plans. I hope we can all get through this.
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Movie about SATOSHI Nakamoto on: June 27, 2020, 08:58:33 AM
It is funny how the portrait of Satoshi Nakamoto is Japanese.

The name really is Japanese but from the past information, he is not. I know that this is just a movie but it is just funny how they interpret it like that. I do understand that he is one of the mysteries of the internet and I think they just wanted to portrait Satoshi being tortured so they could get information to him to maybe catch another person. He is a genius.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: June 27, 2020, 08:17:47 AM
I think it is not always about profit.

I think those people wanted Bitcoin to really flourish, to be known in the world, and when the price drops down, they get disappointed. There are also those that 's just waiting for their profit too. For me, it is great when the price increases but when it drops it is also great since I was late to invest on it and I wanted to find timings when I can invest again.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s next if bitcoin breaks $9,270 ? on: June 27, 2020, 06:59:09 AM
after the decline, the price of bitcoin is stable at $ 9300. I also think that if there is a decrease in the aftershock, the range will last at $ 9,000, or $ 9100. however, if there is an increase, it will survive at $ 9450 or $ 9500. so far, I predict that the next move will be price increases.

I hope it does, but we need to be patient.

The price is somewhat going back and forth. I did sell some of my mBTC when the price rose to $10K and I think I did a good choice there since the price quickly declines after that. Right now I am having doubt when to invest again. In my opinion, if the price increases to $10K again, there would be some investors that are ready to sell some of their BTCs too.
1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next Movement......... on: June 27, 2020, 06:16:19 AM
It seems to be profit booking happening around as price in last week has slowly dropped like 9400$ to now 9100$. This is not looking good because it can now even fall below 9k levels too. Though on fall it will be a good time to buy as well. One good thing I have seen is that in past few weeks volatility has reduced, and it is not rising and falling too quickly.
or the movement will repeat. after rising to $ 9400, the price drops to $ 9,000 and then goes back up to $ 9400. Well, it's very difficult to guess the current price of bitcoin, however, I believe that the price increase will occur, and most likely it will be in the upcoming July.

I think this might continue until next month.

I've been doubting that it will dump but I am also doubting that it will pump either. It will hit under $9k and then suddenly it will just be $9.2k-$9.3k or $9.4k. It might hit above $10K but I think it will never last since even at this price, there are some that are selling their price that is why it the price is moving under $9k but it just returns back.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 27, 2020, 05:24:01 AM
No offense but most people nowadays look at chess as a boring sport. Though I am seeing it being applied in esports but a game mode of it. It was started in the arcade of Dota 2 which is the Dota Chess. It is pretty interesting and addicting to be honest since it is like a gamble where you based on your luck if the heroes you will be getting will follow what you want to build.

Some years back I tried playing chess and also did learned from the friend or must say tried learning the game but soon understood that this requires huge concentration and need to be very focused as you need to know not only your movement but also how the opponents movement and how it could be danger if you move just 1 wrong move in the game. It is very exhaustive game but not my type of it.

Well, its about tactics, strategies, the memorization of possible moves. It is exhausting but it is really fun if you are thinking about how you will be taking down your opponent's king. But it is more fun when they actually apply it in games. Started by Dota 2, as far as I know, LoL also have this game mode and also Mobile Legends.

I do play Magic Chess in Mobile Legends but I don't think there is a tournament for it for us to bet on it.

Also, I do agree with the earlier posts that Chess is not that popular, despite the rick culture of it originating in the 16th century. I guess people would consider more betting in marble rather than a game of chess.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 27, 2020, 03:24:14 AM
Loot boxes or mystery boxes are not gambling in my opinion, but only features in games to get weapons or equipment. It's similar to
gambling because we don't know what we're buying, but it's not gambling because it doesn't involve rewards in the form of money.
This is just a game creator strategy to be able to get money from children, sad actually making money this way.

For me it is gambling.

You are wagering your money into hoping of getting something of the same value or higher but most of the time you aren't since we usually based it on luck, in games we based it on RNG. Gambling is not just about money, it is also about wagering something with value. Some even bet their lands, their houses, their cars, their positions which I don't think should be advisable.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: June 27, 2020, 02:35:03 AM
Fortnite is a good game to be honest though a lot of content creators hate it.

When we will be betting, what will we bet here? Fortnite is a battle royale game and unlike PUBG, most of the tournaments that are happening in Fortnite including the biggest one where Bugha won $3M, are in solo mode. If that is a solo, that would make it harder to bet since that is a lot of players to start with. If that is a party or a squad, that is good but I would choose to bet on CSGO or Dota 2 than that since the possibility of winning is much lower.
