I got this too.  Also got the fake Omise go one.  Obviously some of these shitcoin airdrops are selling their email lists.
Recently in the marketplace I saw someone selling the list of emails of users from this forum, I do not know if the list was real, but if it is, that explains a lot of the spam emails we are are getting in our emails and the private messages we are getting in the forum.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: Appreciation of bitcoin on: October 25, 2017, 05:20:44 PM
Bitcoin is a big opportunity and I regret not taking it seriously when it was first released, but I cant bring back what happended & dwelling in past I cant a not good position now I am giving its a short on how far I can go by holding btc. I thing it actual a good currency.
Not many people did, even now there are people that think bitcoin is just something that people interested in computers do, but it seems they are forgetting that is the same way computers, the Internet and video games began and now each one of those things has hit the mainstream.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small investors now is your time! on: October 24, 2017, 06:37:03 PM
now i am student . i must to work to earn money for trading bitcoin with aim which make money from trading . i have invested about 300$ for bitcoin . i make profit about 50% from trading . i am very happy . because i can pay tuition school
Try to find other ways to pay for your school, you can use your bitcoin for that of course but you are going to regret every single bitcoin you spend and that you do not hold, believe me I know while I never had a big amount of bitcoin the small amount I had was spent in useless stuff and if I had hold it I would have bigger profits than the ones I have now.
1125  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: October 24, 2017, 06:31:32 PM
With a value of about $ 6000 can be said that bitcoin is the most expensive currency ever, now everyone is hunting bitocin because many opinions say the price next year will reach $ 15000.
Bitcoin is in fact the most expensive currency of the world and that should be a reflection of its usefulness and its rareness with only 21 million coins I think it is very obvious no fiat currency currently open the world can compete with bitcoin since governments keep printing those useless pieces of paper.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 24, 2017, 06:28:11 PM
Altcoins do have a future as long as people make ICOs. The question is what future do they have. But it's quite obvious that there will be no bright future for them compared to bitcoin.
It depends on the coin, there are many alts that are not going to survive in the future but there are a few selected projects that are very good and that are going to be around for a very long time so we need to concentrate on find it these projects so we can make great profits in the future.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what price will litecoin hit in the future? on: October 24, 2017, 05:51:00 PM
For 2019 my guess is more than $400. There are basically fanatics of litecoin here on btctalk. Its still seen as bitcoin's biggest alternative.
I also like to use fast coins. So I think investing litecoin is good, small risk involved.
Litecoin is one of the safest coins out there this is why it is always in the top of market cap, and every time there is a discussion about what coin could replace bitcoin or what coins could be used as an alternative the name of litecoin is always one of the first to come up.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH & LTC? on: October 23, 2017, 09:56:25 PM
hi!
i am using BTC from almost 2 years  and now i want to invest in other cryptocurrencies i just want to know is it profitable to invest in ETH and LTC because these are the fastest growing currencies after BTC,just need your suggestion about it.
Ethereum and litecoin is good to invest and for sure if you have that two altcoin you will earn a lot of profit in the future . Ethereum I hope the price become 1000 dollara so those people have ethereum can earn more profit. More litecoin more profit to come and for sure possible you will become millionaire once you have a lot of ethereum and litecoin. But it depends always in the demand on the market if the price increase or decrease.
Almost agree, but I am not sure about 1000$ for ETH. Anyway etherium and litecoin are good for long investment. It`s easy to get more than 20% of profit in shotr time and 50% in long time. I would say it is almost not risky to invest because all investments have some risk
All investment have some risk associated with them we know that but we can lower the risk by our decisions and the only coin that I see with a lower risk than those two projects is bitcoin itself, so investing in ETH and LTC is as safe of an investment as you can make in crypto.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: October 23, 2017, 09:53:29 PM
Problem starts when People on both the side (Investors & Project owners) look at making quick buck. If if either one of the party did the research, the risk around ICOs could be mitigated. Having said that, it is quite a young market and it will eventually stabilise. Till then, choose where you invest, look for the background of the founders, their previous track history and experience. Start your shortlist criteria to be Projects with a working product & you should be fine.
The problem is that people want to make millions of dollar without investing a single second to research the project and that is why we get so many scams around the forum, but that gives to those that are willing to take the time a huge advantage to make a lot of money if they play their cards right.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "Onion" - THE BABY GIANT! 10000%+ coin for 2018 on: October 23, 2017, 09:51:41 PM

And the most important part is, look at the

I think it will gain value but it will never surpass bitcoin. Bitcoin has been trying to reach out and have a mass adoption of merchants accepting it.

With bitcoin as strong as it is now I do not see how can anyone argue that any coin can possibility overcome bitcoin, however deeponion seems like a good project, however the prediction is simply too high and I do not think the coin is going to get close to give profits of 10000%.
My bad. I think using this term is more accurate "10x coin".

from current price ($.7) 10x by the end of next year is very reasonable if dev team is able to keep up with the roadmap.
10x is a lot more reasonable and I think it can be reached I hope it does especially to all of those that have dedicated a lot of time to get those coins by participating in the giveaway, I’m not currently holding any but it is one of those coins that is on my radar and I will invest soon enough.
1131  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: October 23, 2017, 09:48:43 PM
Hey folks,

I realise that the simplest way to make a profit on crypto at the moment seems to be just buying and holding Bitcoin, but I'm curious if there are any coins or tokens designed specifically to generate ongoing passive income for holding them and if so, how they work?

Appreciate any replies,
If that is what you are looking there are coins with those characteristics the most obvious ones are casino coins, not long ago you could invest in the bankroll of the casino and you got some of the profits in return, but now as is the case with BitDcice you can buy their token, and you are going to receive a portion of the earnings depending on the amount of tokens you have.
1132  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: October 23, 2017, 09:46:32 PM
probably more than 1000 dollars,
I think it depends on the complexity of the project he want to start, for me if you want to start a project or business you need to make a plan for that not only the budget is your concern. Also if you want to start here in digital or crypto currency small budget is not enough to run a good project. Much better to start outside or offline project i think the required budget is much lower and when the project was already successful that is the right time to spread it out here.
Budget is the first thing which you need to have in your pocket whenever you plan of starting of any kind of project. You can start any kind of project if you have enough budget. In case you don’t have enough budget, then it is preferable to invest in some small project and then keep on trying hard for some big project from the amount of profit which you will manage to earn from your project.
The budget is important but if you have skill you can make the costs a lot lower, for example if you are a programmer you can develop your own software and most of the time that is the most costly part of the operation the rest is going to depend on the type of online business you are opening, but most of the time you are going to need maintenance and support.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: October 22, 2017, 06:25:50 PM
LTC is now way undervalued compared to BTC so has a lot to catchup. $100+ stable price
in next 1-2 months should be a good start.
I do not see the interest on bitcoin diminishing anytime soon so I do not see how we are going to see any kind of bull market in alts for the rest of the year, maybe at the beginning of the next year when things start to calm down we are going to see an interest from the markets in altcoins once again.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: October 22, 2017, 06:22:51 PM
Bitcoin has pumped back to $4000 and up, without no chinese markets involved, proving that we can survive government bans. I am very confident now in a strong recovery to an ATH. Once we reach ATH in a post-Chinese ban environment, we are going to prove to the world that bans on Bitcoin are useless, so they will either join us or keep getting exposed.

I predict chinese exchanges will eventually be back under regulated licenses, pumping the price even further. Get in now or cry later.

I believe, this is just a statement from bitcoin to the world, saying no matter what you do you cant stop me. Now, even if bitcoin gets banned by strong countries , it won't be affecting its value and it will continue to increase it price. I think, bitcoin is gonna be unstoppable now.
Only a fool or overconfident government can take this foolish step of banning bitcoin after what happened to China. We all know that bitcoin is damn popular now and it has users around the globe. We cannot stop bitcoin now from ruling the world and becoming the next international currency of the world. I don’t find a single reason for which bitcoin could be controlled by states.
They are going to try my friend, they are too comfortable printing currency without any limit and they are very happy running deficits in their budget doing this, but with bitcoin they are no longer be able to do this since it hits them in two sensible spots at the same time, the ability of printing their own currency and the ability to charge taxes.
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Interesting day... Telling on: October 22, 2017, 06:19:46 PM
If you think the price is going to go that high then there is not much of a point to sell your bitcoin to get some small earnings just keep holding, I know that you can get profits with trading but you can get losses too so there is not much of a point in risking your bitcoin.
It is not an awful move to sell some bitcoin now regardless if it will rise or not, since no such thing is certain to happen with bitcoin within the short period of time until fork on November. Therefore, selling some of your bitcoin now is a wise move specially when you have earned a hefty sum of profit already from holding. I know that some people held their bitcoin from 2015 up to this point and for them it is a great time to sell now. There is a risk in holding btc at the moment specially that fork is near, the chance that it will go down in price is relatively high.
You are correct but for someone like me that is waiting for the price to go really high in order to sell even these prices are very low, I’m not going to risk it, since I'm not a very good trader, so I prefer to take the safe approach and hold every single bitcoin that I have and I’m not going to sell until it reaches my target price.
1136  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 22, 2017, 06:16:22 PM
Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.

I think, they both got their pros and cons, fiat money is stable and that is a good thing, you can sleep knowing that your money won't move from 5000-1000. While cryptocurrencies could bring you from 1000-5000 in a short span o time. So I think both are good in their ways. But as for me, I would choose cryptocurrency.
Fiat is stable but it always going down, when you save one dollar after some years you still have one dollar but that dollar can buy a lot less than in the past so the cots of that stability is that fiat devalues every day, bitcoin is different, there are big movement on the short term and this scares people but if you store bitcoin after many years you will still have one bitcoin but the things you can buy with it went up instead of down and this shows which one is the superior currency.
1137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 22, 2017, 06:09:52 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

Your story is totally far away from your title. Anyway, I think that's life. It's your choice how you will leave your life. I think you don't need anyone to have a work. You can apply everywhere. You don't need a friend or family to back you up. It will depend on your interview. On yourself.

LOL. It is obvious he may be trying to justify why people scam, looking at how he presented the whole thing. He feels the reason people scam is because some are just too stingy enough not to give out some of what they have, while they give out what some people can make use of to their pets.

That is a lazy way of thinking! People are getting to work and making a living with hardwork and someone expects to be sleeping at home so that someone can give him something from what they get. Isn't that an absurd way of thinking? I know sometimes, situations can be pretty bad but if you can just find something to do, at least you won't lack, but for someone to think that is enough reason to justify scamming, then it is ridiculous. Moreover, give some people a huge money today hoping they will utilise it well, you will be surprise seeing them coming back for more next time.
Correct, the argument that people scam because those that have are not generous enough is mistaken, that is simply the way the system work and you can complain all what you want but this is the only system that has proven to work so you need to find a way to thrive in the system legally.
1138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin breaks all time high and surges past $5,000 on: October 21, 2017, 11:22:16 PM
It is currently now at 5600$+ I think we are going to hit 6000$ thin month, Bitcoin is going to set a new high record. We are having many new investors I guess, Many new faces are coming towards Bitcoin and adopting it. I think China has no impact on the price of Bitcoins?

This is what I am waiting for. 6k$ is the price I want to see.
What does it feel to have your wish granted, bitcoin is now above 6000 dollars and now it has a market cap above 100 billion so we reached two milestones in the same day, besides we still have a few days before the fork so I think there is still potential for the price to go higher.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100$ --- Which coin? on: October 21, 2017, 11:19:27 PM
Good day,

I know it's maybe too late to jump onto the altcoin train but I would like to try it.

Going to use Kraken as my exchange platform (would prefer if the coin is purchasable there) and already made a deposit over 100$. It's not much but I still want to try to gain some profit over time (dont care if its 1 day or 1 month or even longer).
Read a few articles about Bitcoin, Ethereum, ZCash and Co.

My guess is that DASH, Monero or Litecoin are the best for my plans, which one would you prefer?

Thank you in advance
With a starting capital that is that low I think the best thing you can do is to try to buy some ico coins, coins that are at the top in market cap will give you nice earnings in percentage but it is going to take a lot of time and after all that time you are not going to see a lot of profits in absolute terms.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using Bitcoin Cash? on: October 21, 2017, 11:16:26 PM
I don't use it right now, but if i had money in my wallet, i could try.
Even if you had some bitcoin cash in your wallet you will not have many uses for it, the only places that I see where you can use bitcoin cash is in exchanges and casinos, since no one is accepting that altcoin for anything other than to speculate with it.
