11221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tasks for Bitcoin??? on: December 29, 2018, 10:16:03 AM
Trading is certainly a good tip.

You can also try to keep an eye on services board , games and rounds and gambling boards.

Often some websites gives you small amounts to test their websites and services, or to gamble, etc. You can earn a few bucks that way.
11222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinbase locking coins for 15 days. What?? on: December 29, 2018, 09:42:41 AM
I believe USA excessive regulations are a bad thing for the sector now. USA doesn't have much exchanges, and all of them have too many rules.

This sector desperately needs to grow and flourish in the us.
11223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin fork questions for BTC and BCH on: December 28, 2018, 11:55:29 PM
You most likely need to download a Bitcoin Cash wallet, a Bitcoin Gold wallet, etc, and import there your bitcoin address(es) that had the bitcoins using your Bitcoin private keys.
Where can I download this wallets?

You can download one wallet that support all of those more common forks. There are some around.

I use coinomi, which supports many of them.

Ledger nano also supports some.

There are some new untested wallets such as magnum and atomic wallet which supports many forks also.
11224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: December 28, 2018, 11:50:01 PM
Check the game's reddit/news sites for extra info (sometimes an important player can't attend to a match and you might learn that sooner than the betting site...). Do it DAILY.

That's true. Watching games daily and getting informed about players and the whole team will certainly help. Look at statistics.

It is almost a fundamental analysis. You can also check balances of the clubs, as more money will usually means Better performance in mid term.

11227  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: security window 10 Microsoft have access to my priv. keys. on: December 28, 2018, 09:23:27 PM
the problem with windows operating systems is not the Microsoft itself. they are not making money by stealing your money. the problem is with the weaknesses that it has and worst of all with the backdoors that they have intentionally placed in this closed source operating system. many of them are unknown and when they are found they are exploited by hackers and lead to your loss.

Linux is a good solution as it is being suggested but you still should only think about cold storage if you want true security.

I have used Windows since 80s ... I know it has security flaws, but ofc it's not a scam, it will never still your money.

It has also privacy problems, like Google...

I know Linux is far safer and better for developers, but it has compatibility limitations and it is, imo, not so convenient to use (in terms of interface). For average user it windows 10 is ok.

If you want only to use the computer for cryptocurrency, ofc Linux is better.
11228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with Bitcoin Cash & its derivatives on: December 28, 2018, 06:46:35 PM
Note to mods: Please move this thread to the appropriate board if required.

After the hard fork on the 15th of November, Bitcoin Cash was split into two coins: Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHABC) & Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV). I did not have time to read about it, so if anyone could guide me real quick.

Before the split happened, I had some BCH with me. I wanted to know how if both the blockchains now have replay protection, and how to redeem both. Does Electron Cash support both?

I suggest you use coinomi Android/ios wallet. It support both chains and they provide a service to claim the forks.

Me parece interessante

Mas vc devia estar usando o tópico certo, de campanhas com posta locais :p
11230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The future of cryptocurrency/blockchain is in Asia on: December 28, 2018, 06:07:07 PM
What discussion you want to start with? Asia's the leading as of the moment but it might change sooner or later.

Sorry if I won't click your link.

There are many reasons for Asia too be leading now. More favorable mining environment (low cost energy), many developers in Russia and South Korea..

But as you said, it may change soon or later. I believe USA is still struggling with regulations, but as soon as this phase passes, it may become a good place for new cryptocurrency projects.

Quem sabe vingam
11232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Statistics on: December 28, 2018, 04:36:42 PM
I thought this website was about sports statistics. I opened it but couldn't see much, I think the UI is bugged on mobile.

No doubt that knowing sports statistics increases your chances of winning in sports bets.
11233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Talk with Vitalik] Does ETH need transaction fee? on: December 28, 2018, 03:54:21 PM
I always think it's unreasonable to have high transaction fee per transactions, and is researching about EOS's model: Account Registration fee + 0 transaction fee.

I don't know exactly how eos work, but ethereum needs transactions fee to prevent ddos attack.

Ethereum is supposed to be fully decentralized. Their Dapps, once running, cannot be stopped.
As a world computer, where no one can click "reboot" charging a fee for everything that is done is a way to prevent world resources to be wasted, as well as protecting the network from attacks (like a program that would just run over and over again to spam the network)

i am asking where people get their  ideas from as i dont have any

for cms i done a blog script that is not working but its kinda done

a faucet list script that i am selling on bitcointalk

just Dont know what else to make as if i make something it might be already taken

As jet Cash said, just Google for cmc in php.

There are also courses on udemy, which are very cheap.

Ideas for great projects that are worth a lot of money are not easy to come by... As you learn more about what you are studying, you will discover the problems most people face, and you may try to solve them.
11236  Other / Meta / Re: About forum video posting on: December 28, 2018, 09:33:44 AM
You can post video like below :
...

I never support to host video on Bitcointalk hosting. Then forum will become more spammy and slower.

This is a good solution. If you want to make a good post, you need to put some effort in it. Choose an image from YouTube with the link to the video, cool

Bitcointalk doesn't even host images, so it will probably never host videos.
11237  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How to transfer altcoins to Nano Ledger S Wallet? on: December 27, 2018, 04:41:24 PM
Different wallets are certainly a smart option, but not in a way that you use hardware wallet, and store some other coins in desktop wallet. If you pay for HW and that wallet is have option to store all coins you have, then why take the risk and hold any coin in desktop wallet. When we compare desktop or online wallets with hardware wallets, indisputable advantage is on HW side regarding security.

Ledger offers extra security by creating passphrase, but this is only for advanced users as stated in their warning. That extra 25th word can sometimes be problem for some users, usually they backup only 24 word seed and forget they added passphrase.

I agree, hardware wallet is much better than desktop, and the 25th word is really a problem to some users.

However even using an hw you may expose your seed... Someone may get into your house, or you may lose the seed backup. Using some paper wallets may be a good diversification.
11238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wanna dump my bitcoinx from fork. any exchanges take deposits? on: December 26, 2018, 08:40:40 PM
Do you guys know an exchange that take deposits?

I couldn't sell my BitcoinX. They were too few and the exchanges that were allowing deposits were offering much less than the (expected) average.
However, from all this I can give you a good direction: https://btcdiv.com/
On the "exchanges" tab you'll find some more that accept BitcoinX deposits. However, check carefully the exchange rates, since some are misleading.

Thanks for your reply.

Exchange rate and volume are a problem (exrates volume was terrible). Bcx is still valuable in some exchanges it is possible to get about 30 USD per bitcoin. Sadly I am not able to sell it
11239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino review on: December 26, 2018, 07:07:14 PM
I agree that it's a good idea

You can do something like metacritic, where users can vote in many different websites, so each one would have editor's score and users score.
11240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart contracts: Hyped or Useful? on: December 26, 2018, 05:29:01 PM
Both hyped and useful.

However ethereeum is still in its infancy, and smartcontracts cannot interact with data from outside the blockchain. Once oracles are up and running we will see many daily uses for smartcontracts. For now smartcontracts are used for now only with data inside the blockchain, so we have only ICOs, Dex and apps like cryptokitties..
