11244  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have 4 bitcoin What should i do. Should sell or hold on to the price increase? on: February 20, 2015, 02:01:29 PM
My new year resolution for 2015 was to buy 1 bitcoin a month. Now, I have 4 bitcoin. But, the price value of bitcoin is stuck at $250. Any good advice for me please. Should I keep going with the New year resolution. Will the price increase in value.

Just be patient, your 4 Bitcoins are a solid long term investment.

Hold your coins, that's the best advice some one can give you.
11245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And so it continues... on: February 20, 2015, 01:56:32 PM
Security is one of Bitcoin main problems and before that is solved we can not go mainstream for sure. Exchanges should be regulated and responsible or idk what but this now is just redicoulous.

Security the main problem of Bitcoin? LOL  Cheesy

You clearly don't know what Bitcoin really is, and how it works.

The only one that we can blame are the shitty exchanges and their amateur/noob operators.
11246  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 19, 2015, 03:16:55 PM
Let me know when you open this up again - I am ready! Cool

You have to check every day a few times.

First person to see a free spot will claim it directly  Smiley

Boring Champions league games this week.

I hope next week will be much better. Especially with Manchester City - Barcelona.

I think City will once again get their ass whooped by Barcelona. They don't stand a chance.
11248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up or down on: February 19, 2015, 03:01:37 PM
With no news in sight the price will most likely be around current level.

I actually like the price to not go up or down by more than $10.

It's a great opportunity for a large size trader to scoop up these coins for 1 price.

If you have to buy a large quantity via an exchange, you need to buy up the sell orders which result in the price to climb quite a bit. Which will obviously cost you more.

11250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dymocks store now accepting bitcoin on: February 19, 2015, 02:48:39 PM
I am very please and excited to announce that the Dymocks book store at Carindale, Brisbane, Australia are now accepting bitcoin.  A small but very important step in getting "high street" retailers to a accept bitcoin.

Dymocks.com.au are a pretty well known retailer, so this will be a great client to show case to other potential merchants.

http://www.bitcoinbrisbane.com.au/dymocks-book-store-at-carindale-now-accepting-bitcoin/

Does that mean another big retailer dumping? Mixed news..

Why mixed? It's great news.

You can't expect retailers to keep the coins after a completed sale. Volatility is too heavy for that.

Perhaps the time will come that they see the benefit of keeping the coins instead of using a third party to convert everything.
11251  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could jump to price 300 fast on: February 18, 2015, 04:57:05 PM
OP is right. Bitcoin COULD jump to $300 fast, but it most likely will go up slowly.

I think the price will dance and twerk between $220-$250 price level this month.
11252  Economy / Digital goods / Re: www.BitcoinPurse.com Domain For Sale on: February 18, 2015, 04:51:42 PM
Very interesting domain. I'll offer 0.2BTC
Sorry,

11253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next For Bitcoin In China? on: February 18, 2015, 04:46:46 PM
There is no future for bitcoin in China.

While you say that you must know that Chinese investors are investing in buying hardware and setting up pools, etc.

Their share of the total Bitcoin network is only increasing. They don't do that without a good reason  Wink
11254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Kipcoin lost 3000 btc and shutdown on: February 18, 2015, 04:42:20 PM
These services and exchanges are a paradise for hackers.

Why should they work if they can make millions in just a single day......

Very sad news, once again. It's quite clear that these amateurs can't run such a service.
11255  Economy / Digital goods / Re: www.BitcoinPurse.com Domain For Sale on: February 18, 2015, 04:38:17 PM
Very interesting domain. I'll offer 0.2BTC
11256  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Evaluate my Domain on: February 18, 2015, 04:36:56 PM
The domain itself is not that special, I guess it's worth around $10 at most.

If you have the time then it's better to develop something, and that eventually will make the domain value go up quite a bit.

Has anyone seen Bayern Munich - HSV yesterday?

HSV literally got trashed with historical numbers  Cheesy

was it 7 or 8 sero to bayern

8-0 victory for the mighty Bayern.

Can't wait for the match between PSG - Chelsea today, glad to see that Costa is back.

Without him Chelsea is less powerful.
11258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 17, 2015, 01:36:56 PM
How Long Will Bitcoin Endure?

How long?
How long can it hold its price?
How long can it stand its value?
Is the end near?
Or will it just be remembered in the statue?

How long? Quite long.
How long can it hold its price? Quite long.
How long can it stand its value? Quite long.
Is the end near? Not quite.
Or will it just be remembered in the statue? Quite a question.
11259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: February 17, 2015, 01:29:59 PM
I use Bitcoin Core with the complete blockchain on my computer.

The only downside is that nowadays it takes nearly 10-15 minutes for the wallet to open.

It's quite annoying. Is there a way to speed this up?

I open the wallet nearly everyday to download the latest blocks. But time on time again it takes so long for it to open.

I downloaded the latest 0.10.0 Bitcoin Core update and the wallet now opens in just 30-60 seconds  Grin

What a difference, much needed update.
11260  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-14] Medium: Bitcoin could reach $34,400 - Roger Ver on: February 17, 2015, 01:26:57 PM
Winklevoss bro's say $100K and Roger Ver says $34K.

Of course I would love to see Bitcoin anywhere in the range they quote.

But is it realistic....? Hmm, not sure. Probably not.  Cheesy

actually they (WikiTwins) say 40k and i my view bitcoin will go at least beyond 10k or will go to zero.

I have seen a short interview where they said that it has the potential to reach $100K

Anyway, $40k or $100K, both figures are not realistic.

In order to get Bitcoin to a certain price level we have to get rid of the corrupt and shitty exchanges that we have now.

Do I see that happen in the comming years? Not really. Unless a new and serious different exchange pops up that deals with problems as written above.
