Thankfully the international break is over and we're back to club football.  Before declaring my bet, I'd have to say that I was really disappointed that my bet on Woodley was a draw and my wager was returned.  I was watching the fight in a bar with a friend and have already cheered for the victory.  I was about to say I was paying for the drinks, only for Bruce Buffer to return and say there was a mistake.  Sad

Anyway for this weekend my bet is for Watford to win, +0 at 2.03 vs Leicester City.  Imho Watford is more in form if you compare it with LCFC, the game is at Watford's home and this is important especially when the players are coming home tired from international duty.
11262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 206: Cormier vs Johnson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: November 16, 2016, 03:16:16 AM
I think Ronda Rousey return will make great numbers, maybe even bigger than McGregor. There is an huge hype surrounding her comeback, because we know that if she loses again her career is over since she goes mentally insane when she losses.

Also McGregor has been calling out Tyron Woodley which is bigger than him, they are the same height but Tyron is built more like a Mike Tyson type of person. I wonder if they may end up fighting. That would be pretty epic to see.

http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/11/14/13618946/morning-report-tyron-woodley-on-conor-mcgregor-if-he-wants-the-fight

It's gonna be big for sure, but I doubt that it'll be bigger than 205.  Let's face it McGregor is the biggest UFC star right now after making history by winning and having two titles at the same time.  As Dana White said, he's special.  There's also some drama creeping from the media making some noise on a McGregor vs Woodley scenario.  If there's one fighter's draw that could beat 205's numbers, it's still Conor, as ironic as that sounds.
11263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 16, 2016, 03:09:53 AM
also Zidane got a team full of stars and it only needs good management not like Manchester united because united are far from being a team that can achieve something we can see that for the past three tears they always been poor and Madrid had great results but didn't win trophies so it's difficult to compare both teams situations.
Man United arent full of star players? I dont think so. They are very capable to win Premier League with their current squad, even with the squad in last three years.

Nope, MU is not full of star players but they are full of overvalued players. They are not star players, since the beginning of this season I dont see that they have star players. Who are the players that you think are star players? Pogba?Ibrahimovic?Rooney?Mata?Rashford?who? Do they show that they are star players? I'm a fan of MU, for me they are just a team that full of sh*t players atm.

Pogba? yes he is star. Ibrahimovic? yes he is star. Rooney? yes he is star. Mata? yes he is star. Rashford? not yet. And another big star, David De Gea.
Yes Manchester united is full of stars, even their manager is also a star. Manchester united's squad is complete.

I can't help but laugh when I read your statement I bolded.  They sure do have a lot of 'stars' in their squad and the manager himself is a big star.  But their form as of late has been so abysmal and their 'star' players' performance so average that I can imagine Jose Mourinho getting a quote from a Tom Cruise movie but is actually looking like this...

There's no use speculating if Hamilton can still make it as the champ this season.  All the news from the F1 media are just there to keep milking the cow as much as they possibly can to keep the fans watching.  I think some of the fans have stopped following the current season and are ready for the developments of the next season.  I'm one of them.

The Driver's Championship trophy is already in the bag for Rosberg.  Enough with all the drama already.

Memphis on Juve radar as James backup

Juventus is monitoring out-of-favor Manchester United winger Memphis Depay. The Dutchman is seen as a potential plan B if the club cannot land Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
Source: The Sun

It could be good for Memphis, he might get more chances to play regularly in Juventus. It is also good fo Juventus, Juve may take him to Juventus Stadium on loan. While if Juve want James, then they need to spend big money which will not so good for them.
Perhaps if Memphis move to Juventus then he can be the next Pogba, useless in MU but finally be a significant player for his team.

That could happen, and the Serie A is the mostly likely league where that could happen.  For starters, it's an 'easier' league than the EPL.  I know Falconer will call me out again for making this comment, but come on it's a fair assessment.  Even Pep Guardiola himself has said that the EPL is harder than he anticipated.  And it shows in City's form table.  They're not as dominant as the pundits projected before the season.

Hey guys, I wasn't able to do the weekly update last week because I was kinda busy and there wasn't really any worthy news to post anyway.  I finally decided to add Synereo in the list, I will do that after I get some stuff irl done.  I think their social media feature could find its market niche in the future.

And for you guys who like charts and price analysis, I have a thread running in the speculation section.  Just go in here My Speculation Thread

NXT/BTC:  Has the Accumulation Phase Begun?

Here's what most traders of cryptocurrencies want to keep quiet about:  When their favorite coins/tokens are in a phase of accumulation.  Cheesy

They don't want it to be prematurely pumped before they have filled their bags as they want to gain the maximum profit (in BTC) possible that they can take from the market.  As for the chart, please notice the last red spikes in volume.  Imho, that's the last of the big sell downs and it's highly possible that there will be none as large as that anymore.  So it's probably safe to start accumulating some NXT now.

Please comment below.
11268  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Bitcoin Speculation Thread. Please Critique my Analysis. ;) on: November 15, 2016, 05:29:52 PM
I don't know man.
To me it looks like some big guys don't want us to rise. They need us down, in terms of price, at least for some more while.
That china rumor of course helped in that case. Just spread some neg bs and enough people will start to panic. And the big and smart guys of course take advantage of that and make their stash of coins even bigger.
Or it is just some whales who like to take some more fiat profits for some more time before Bitcoin really starts to accelerate.
Whatever the reason is, we small guys will have no influence. So lets just take things easy and deal with the situatoin.

Who do you mean by 'they'?  Don't you think this is just a minor panic sell due to that fake news about capital controls by the Chinese government?  I think we're putting too much stock to that rumor that it's already affecting our way to trade.  There may be some traders who are still thinking twice before diving into the action right now.

Wow, your performance is really impressive.  Have you been using Sportsbet as your only sportsbook for making these bets?  I think it would be more profitable for you to shop for lines and use other sportsbooks as well unless you have an arrangement with Sportsbet.io which is fine.
11270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 15, 2016, 06:32:55 AM
Yup, my prediction is 80 - 20%. We don't know what happen in December we may get some unexpected result, yes in this season only we got some unexpected results. So we can not predict this now only. But the Liverpool is the superb team they deserve this first place. I hope they may continue this position for long term let's see what happen.

They dont really deserve this and this might not be their year again. It has been the same for many years and we could see the same expected result. Their performance is quite good recently, im giving them that however there is no teling when will this streak stop as it couod be sooner than most of our expectation

What do you mean by 'they don't really deserve this'?  That they don't deserve to be on top of the table?  If so, why do you say that?  Each club that's working really hard every year deserves to be on top of the table.  And Liverpool is one of the hardest working team of players out there.  From what I read, Klopp pushes his players more compared to other managers.  In his style of play, he has to.
11271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 15, 2016, 04:40:25 AM
Leicester City have no chances of achieving anything substantial in this season of the Premier League. I don't even think that they have any chances of getting in the top 5 spots. The best they could do this season is to not get relegated. Last season was an odd one and Leicester City just got very, very lucky that's all. I bet they will be focusing more on the Champions League.

I can't see them getting past the 1/4 final of the CL to be honest. It was a miracle that they won the PL title last season, I still can't believe it.

Yeah same here.  But I'm open to the idea that maybe, just maybe they can make it to the finals.  I mean how great would that be for the fans, right?  Not just the LCFC fans, but for all of football as well.  Seeing an underdog story unveil for real in your favorite sport is priceless.

That being said, miracles don't happen all the time.  And in Ranieri's case, it won't happen every year.
11272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 206: Cormier vs Johnson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: November 15, 2016, 04:27:51 AM
McGregor rocked UFC 205 with an excellent performance, now we will see if UFC 206 lives up to the hype.

I can't see how UFC 206 will top UFC 205.  Honestly after that event I don't think I'll be that excited for it in a little while.  Maybe I will in UFC 207, with Ronda vs Nunes.

Quote
I think Cormier is more skilled than Johnson, he already won once, but Johnson now is a lot more skilled as well, and he has the height, and reach advantage. Very, very thought call to know who will win.. I hope that Cormier wins. He is a good guy, dedicated, talented, and he fights with the big disadvantage of being shorter and having shorter reach, and that sucks, so I hope he can overcome it and win.

'More skilled' tend to change from time to time especially in MMA.  What I like about the UFC is that it's so dynamic that the belt changes quickly from fighter to fighter.  A good example of this is the light weight belt.  There are lots of good fighters in that division but we have seen no dominance as of now.  Let's see how McGregor matches up with the likes of Ferguson and Khabib.
11273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: November 15, 2016, 01:59:33 AM
@thejaytiesto. Are you saying that Conor had the total advantage due to his longer reach alone? This has not been a problem for Alvarez in his past fights, so why mention this now? Conor won because he was clearly the better fighter. He was fast, had good timing and was precise with his punches and kicks. What does he need to do to prove himself to the doubters?
A loss is a loss, there still time for the two to fight again in the future, it was a good fight indeed but I can tell already that Conor is gonna win the game, he is so aggressive and has a good work ethics. Sadly, I miss to be the game because I was busy on my work, can anyone tell me what is the odds for betting with Conor on the fight? Should be a better odds because he was the challenger..

I don't think so.  Alvarez is done and a non factor now as long as McGregor is concerned.  The fight was a one sided affair and there wasn't even a peep from Alvarez except for the couple of leg kicks thrown in the first round.

However if the fight was close and came like the McGregor vs Diaz II fight then who knows, Alvarez might be given a shot in a big money fight vs Conor again.  For now, McGregor is going for bigger and better match ups.

Coutinho has a contract with Liverpool until July 2020, no release clause exists so he's going nowhere unless Liverpool decide to sell.

What will probably happen is he'll sign a new deal with much bigger wages at Liverpool & his agent will demand a massive release clause is inserted, something like 70 million GBP.

If Barca want him they'll have to pay big especially when that useless Pogba went for 89 million.
Either way Coutinho is going nowhere in January, quote me on it.

Oh for sure.  With everything going very well with Liverpool and their manager, Coutinho will definitely not leave anytime soon.  Klopp can make history with LFC, so it's really, very likely that Coutinho would want to be a part of that.  Clubs like Barca and Real, however big they are, are stale due to their 'big club' status.  It's all about maintaining where they are and making money for them.  There's no challenge anymore which make them uninteresting.
11275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 15, 2016, 12:49:13 AM
Giggs has no managerial experience, it'd be a massive risk for Man Utd to let him become manager of the 1st team. I don't think Mourinho will be sacked yet any way.
Van Gaal have a lot of managerial experience but he was failed last season and i think experience doesn't really matter for Manchester United but they must find the manager who could to motivate players because their mentally really fall now and in my opinion Manchester United just have not found the right manager because very difficult to find the successor of Ferguson

It's showing that it's not about who's in charge as manager at Man United anymore.  Imho, no manager can fix United unless there's a total revamp of the squad.  If they are really serious about being title contenders again then they would have to give Mourinho more than three years to get the club back up to par with the other top clubs in the EPL.  There's clearly something wrong with United itself.

That's a hard proposition and the best they can do in the CL might be to get in up to the quarter finals.  The best thing they can do right now is to concentrate in the League Cup, if they're still in it as I haven't been following it, and the FA Cup.  And maybe at least try to finish in the top 10 in the EPL or maybe get in the Europa League spots would be a good achievement for them this season.  Let's face it, last season was a fluke.
i always believe on something like miracle , last season leicester prove it by won the english premier league unexpectedly. they could repeat it on different story , champions league! nothing impossible , especially when we are talking about football right?

You know I would honestly love to be proven wrong in this case.  But I just don't see it happening.  They will be going up against clubs like Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, Juventus, Real and Barca.  Not even Man City can pull a miracle against them.

But who knows, it's a different format, they might make if somehow.  Just like that year when Chelsea won the CL under Di Matteo.  I kept laughing when Torres scored a goal against Barca of all teams.  Cheesy
11277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: November 14, 2016, 10:10:42 AM
coutinho so far didn't show his desire to win a lot of title, there's no reason for him to leave as he can be a liverpool legend , but yeah there' a fact that win few title only makes some player mean nothing. coutinho don't want to be one of them.

Where do you get this quote from? So far from what I've known, winning a trophy is every players dream no matter what sport you are into so coutinho will want to win one as well. He might leave even when liverpool win the trophy as there is no point for him to stay in liverpool unless he wants to follow gerrard's step

Yeah, that's very understandable.  All players have a dream to become legends and win stuff.  It's what motivates them to practice and work hard everyday for their clubs.  The sad reality is some players tend to be swayed by money.  It's a rare trait to be loyal to a club and stay through the bad times these days.  Steven Gerrard is a good example of a man loyal to his club.

The premier league has more stars per team when compared to other leagues, I dont think Coutinho will leave for Spain tho, i think he enjoys the league but he may be tempted to play with Neymar if they have the chance. They have been friends for a long time
Yeah sometimes friendship could be a main factor for a player moving to another team, e.g David Luiz with Thiago Silva and Zlatan with Maxwell. Well if Liverpool dont win any title in this season, then I think Coutinho will leave Liverpool for real.

That's a fair assessment.  But imho, he shouldn't leave just yet and give it one more season after this if ever they don't win anything.  Do you remember when Bale left for Real Madrid because Tottenham only finished 5th?  If he hadn't left there was a big chance they would finish top 4 under Andre Villas Boas as the team would still have some stability.  When Bale left, they acquired around 6 new players in and this affected their style and stability on the pitch.  There was just too many new faces in the team and it was like they were trying to find their form all over again.
11280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 14, 2016, 02:31:19 AM
for this situation, I think we can compare  Zinadine Zidane and Ryan Giggs. When Zidane manage Real Madrid, in the first year he get a champions league with that players. And now with manchester united play in under champions league competition called Europa League, with their squad now they can win the europa league with Ryan Giggs.
Before taking the head coach position in Real Madrid, Zidane was a coach of Real Madrid Castilla and became coach assistant for Ancelotti in senior team. So comparing to Giggs, Zidane had more experience, thats why he got success in his first time as head coach for Real Madrid. But who knows, maybe Ryan Giggs could surprise us.
Well we know Arsenal is a big team but they dont win Premier League for years, and Arsene Wenger still there. It totally depends on how patient the fans supporting their team.

Not only the fans, but also the board of directors.  If this is still about Man United and Mourinho then I guess their board members will not be that patient.  But I can see Mourinho last three years at United before finally pulling the plug if there's no success seen by that time frame.

We know one board member who's really not happy with what's going on with his beloved club right now, Sir Alex Ferguson.
