So all I need is to make 15 posts(at least) in a week and follow the rule, and the payment is 0.075BTC weekly?
I am in the process of sending out PM's to participants with offers to remove their signature. Please do not further edit nor remove your enrollment post.

edit: PM's have been sent to all participants with offers to be allowed to removed their signature for a prorated payment. I offered the greater of the percentage of time they have been wearing the signature or the percentage of required posts they have made.

The pro rated offer amount is not going to change unless I have made a calculation mistake.

I started offering offering escrow services earlier today, but have been unofficially offering them for a few months now. I hold both bitcoin and alt coins and charge between 1 and 3%

11284  Economy / Lending / Re: redsn0w's loans [For reference] on: April 12, 2015, 10:37:38 PM
I would suggest giving each person a different address to repay to so it is very clear if someone pays you back or not. When everyone pays to the same address, two people could claim that they repaid you when really one did, but it would be hard to say for sure which one did

edit: congratulations on starting to lend and good luck with your loans Smiley
11285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cryptoforcause scammed me on: April 12, 2015, 09:41:07 PM
I changed it because it was the same as my other accounts and didn't want cryptoforcause to be able to login in it
It is ok trust me!
I don't have a signed message sorry
I gave you instructions on how to sign a message, and I know which address you control because you posted a screenshot of the address you asked him to pay to. Alternatively you can sign a message from any of the addresses either of the accounts you were selling previously posted

edit: the OP gave me access to his LBC account which does have a deposit address matching the address he asked to receive payment to
11286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cryptoforcause scammed me on: April 12, 2015, 09:19:34 PM
Why is it that trip96's password just so happened to change minutes after he confirmed that the accounts were returned back to him?

Is he able to sign a message that he should have been sent to as indicated in the OP? The address should be "1Leg44Ut..." http://s17.postimg.org/4glocgjsf/image.png
11287  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Senior Member (Almost Hero) on: April 12, 2015, 08:59:47 PM
It probably means that it is close to being a hero. He was selling a senior account with 380+ activity here roughly 2 weeks ago and is now selling one with 400+ activity, so I would think that the account most likely has 406 activity.

Assuming the above is true then it should be able to become a hero in roughly 3 months

But, I think the escrow may wait 24 hours before doing anything with the funds. And where will the funds go? If there is something extra you can always tip something to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300631 Smiley
I will wait a day or so and then start to PM participants that they can remove their signature ife they so choose. The signature has only been up for a day or so, therefore it was likely not very effective/useful for them.

The funds belong to the OP so if there are any excess funds will need to be returned to the OP, otherwise I am scamming them. If they don't give me an address to return the funds to after some amount of time then I am not sure what I will do.

Shouldn't you seize them? I know that it would probably not be a good idea to police things yourself but if CryptoSplit did indeed scam, funds shouldn't be returned to the scammers.
Sieze them for what? I am not going to engage in asset forfeiture. Seizing bitcoin would set a precedent that it is not safe for scammers to use escrow which would give them a legit reason to refuse escrow which would make it easier for them to scam after they have been outed as a scammer.

Scammers won't/don't use escrows. That would not make them scammers (for the particular trade).

It is already not safe for scammers to use escrow.. Read my sentence above.

You wouldn't be setting any precedent.
If someone has scammed in the past then they are a scammer. That does not mean that they will never attempt to trade honestly in the future. Look at KingOfSports for example, he scammed 2 BTC then for years frequently traded in the currency exchange section with escrow (likely to fund his gambling habit) before he seemingly disappeared.

If a scammer wants to use escrow for a trade to prove it will actually go through then they should be able to do so.

Plus if the option is there to use escrow for a scammer then anyone considering doing business with them will know not to conduct any deals with them if they are refusing escrow. If a scammer outright refuses escrow and has a legit explanation as to why they will not accept escrow then people considering to trade with them might be willing to send first

Donate to Dabs (feed some children) instead.

Like I said above that would create the president that scammer cannot use escrow which would only make it easier for them to scam once they have been outed.

Well at least i know who smoothies alt is now. Congrats on posting a picture of something in your laser on a different account than your main account before posting it on your main account.

Kinda like how we know all yours, eh?  Cheesy You might as well have just posted in 30pt. font "i am woodcollector" but that's pretty much what every one of your posts scream anyway.
He did do that. Well he didn't use 30 point font.

11296  Economy / Services / Re: Quickseller Escrow Service on: April 12, 2015, 06:30:13 PM
When contacting me for escrow please start a group PM with all parties involved copied on the PM. In the PM please provide the following information:
  • Who is the seller?
  • Who is the buyer?
  • What is being traded?
  • What is the price?
  • Who is paying the escrow fee? - if this question is not answered then I will default to the seller paying the fee when writing up the escrow agreement
  • Under what circumstances can escrow be released?
  • Reference thread - this is not mandatory, however it will often allow me to fill in a lot of blanks
I would appreciate it if both parties confirm the terms of the trade via PM - one party can start the PM then the other party can reply to all confirming that s/he agrees to the terms.

A sample form that you can use when contacting me is below:

11297  Economy / Services / Quickseller Escrow Service [closed] on: April 12, 2015, 06:30:00 PM
Since I have received a pretty stable stream of requests for escrow I might as well make this official: I am offering escrow services.

Please see the second post in this thread for what information to provide when contacting me for escrow.

I am setup to hold the following coins:
  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Namecoin (NMC)
  • NXT (NXT)
  • ETH
  • RUBIES

If there is sufficient demand (e.g. a large trade) then I would be willing to setup for the following alt coins:
  • Dash aka Darkcoin (DRK)
  • Dogecoin (DOGE)

I am willing to hold other alt coins on a major exchange however the parties will need to agree to a stipulation that if the exchange itself gets hacked and/or runs away with customer funds (or something similar) then I will not be held responsible.

My fees are as follows:
  • Bitcoin - 1% - minimum of .0075BTC per transaction
  • Altcoins - 1.25% - minimum of .0125 BTC equivalent per transaction
  • Bitcointalk accounts - 1% of the sale price - minimum of .0075 BTC per account
  • Signature Campaigns - 3% of the amount held plus .03 BTC every time a payment is made - the 3% is evaluated every time a payment is made to participants
  • Signature campaign - you send payments by default - 2% of amount held per month - I would only pay participants in the event that the owner were to disappear
My GPG key is F0BEB516 and my PGP fingerprint is F364 AB33 6F00 9BA4 736C 7F69 532D D290 F0BE B516 - I will PGP sign all escrow addresses involving greater then 0.99 BTC (or equivalent), and when requested. Please verify the signature before relying on it.

I will GPG sign all addresses regardless of the size of the transaction.

FAQ
  • Will you leave positive trust after acting as escrow? - Most likely no, especially for smaller deals

No representations are made as to the identity of the person you are trading with, this includes the possibility of trading with an alt of QS, as well as trading with someone other then you believe them to be. Regardless, I will stake my reputation on me resolving any disputes as fairly as possible while taking into consideration all available facts, and giving large amounts of time for both parties to gather/present any evidence.
11298  Other / Meta / Re: A simple question "Is it against the forum rules make "double posting" ? on: April 12, 2015, 06:26:09 PM
The exact formula is secret, although if you keep track of what actions you take and how much you are paid then you should be able to figure out what actions are worth the most and taking those kinds of actions even when they might not be necessary. For example sending a PM to someone in relation to a moderation (e.g. being from a moderator as a moderator) likely causes that moderator action to be "worth" more or is separately worth something in itself. One of my alts once had one of it's posts deleted when I replied to a post of Bruno about something that grue claimed was off topic, this was far from a trend and was probably unnecessary to receive a PM about it, however I got a PM around the time the post was deleted saying that my post was deleted because it was a reply to an off topic post.

I would think that the payment is not based on responsibilities, but rather by actions taken. It is just that a higher ranking staff member would have more opportunities to take additional actions, and potentially more valuable actions.

Except it's not really possible as I explained above. I handle too many reports to count and I'm sure I could probably handle much less but still get paid the same seeing as I more or less get the same every month (or didn't get any more after I got promoted so clearly there is a limit or threshold based on staff rank and I'm hitting it). Very active patrollers or mods of local boards like me and Eal got pretty much exactly the same but even after I got made mod of the entire Marketplace and Bitcoin Discussion and my workload must have at least doubled but yet we still get paid pretty much the same.
You could automate the counting of actions taken in a number of ways. That wouldn't be very hard because a good number of moderator functions require you to visit a page within the forum that has a special URL so you could just develop a bot to count each time you visit a webpage that has '?action=deletemsg" in the URL for deleting posts.

It is possible that payment is capped on an action basis. So for example you can only earn a max of "x" for deleting posts, a may of "y" for moving threads, ect. So if you are unable to take additional actions that you were not previously able to do (I don't think going from patroller to moderator of certain sections allows you to take additional actions) then your max payment would remain the same (assuming that payments are in fact capped in some way). I do think that moderators of various sections should probably receive an additional payment for the added responsibility.
11299  Economy / Auctions / Re: LuckyFaucet.com Domain on: April 12, 2015, 06:06:08 PM
Hmmm. It does sound like a good domain for a faucet. I would think that the right person could probably attract a good amount of views/impressions to a faucet with that domain.

I am not sure how much faucets make in ad revenue though, or if it is enough to support a price of .3 BTC. It would probably (I think) support a price of higher then .02 though
11300  Economy / Auctions / Re: LuckyFaucet.com Domain on: April 12, 2015, 06:01:53 PM
What improvements have you made to the website/domain that would cause it's value to increase from .02 BTC to .3 BTC?

Is this the faucet that you told me about last November that was getting massive amounts of traffic?
