11321  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: August 08, 2016, 07:45:33 AM
After the bitfinex  bad news, bitcoin is returning to the new value on the 600 dollars, soo i believe it will build find again the support and slowly raise till hit the 700 dollars, the cheap bitcoin promotion has ended already.

It's not ended yet, the price is $586 right now so if anyone wants to use this unique opportunity to buy under $600, you better hurry up. I also think that Bitcoin will be around $700 soon.
11322  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: August 08, 2016, 07:29:35 AM
Of course I aware that there are different situations with different banks but some of them charge you for using their card as a method of payment and if you are using Bitcoin you only pay a transaction fee which is small and unsignificant. I think that's one of of the main reasons why would customers use Bitcoins.
11323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America and Israel ???? Global Conspiracy on: August 07, 2016, 08:58:31 AM
In the world of today when every Western Country iS killing muslims and then accuse Muslims of terriosm in that time Israel and America is playiing a global game to control the world and in that israel is really doing well and killing all the Phalastanians and taking their lands from them ....i think the world do not undertands whats happening around them Huh Huh Huh Huh

Oh I see, it looks like you are really "understanding" a lot. I suggest you to try to find another opinions on the internet and read them very thoughtfully.

From what I know blaming America and Israel in all bad things which happen is a typical behaviour of the dictatorship regimes which rob their own people and lie to them constantly.
11324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: August 07, 2016, 08:47:10 AM

Was planing to invest on a gambling site since they said its a gauranteed profit since the house can't lose but I'm still skeptical about it, i don't have much BTC so I have to make sure whether its going to be profitable for me.  What possibilities could happen to the gambling site i wanted to invest into and how am i going to lose my investment in such a manner?

Even if the owners of the site are decent people they can be robbed and then you'll lose your invesment. I suggest you to invest only what you can afford to lose. You won't make big money this way but you will not lose much of your money either.
11325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 07, 2016, 08:41:44 AM
Of cores it is wise to not trust him completely, but I think he got a really strong cards in his hand. And his predictions/expectations are not totally groundless.
$2000 might be a little too much, but 1000 after release of Bitcache is pretty much possible scenario. And I totally agree: BUY NOW while bitcoin is cheap!

IMO the price below $600 is very low for Bitcoin and all the people who bought for this price will profit big time. If a man with 500k followers on twitter is saying Bitcoin will be $2000 at least it means something, right?
11326  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: August 07, 2016, 08:32:19 AM

Trading is the right option to achieve that target but investing 7 BTC is a big amount, and if you face loss then it is big loss, so i suggest to invest some amount of money in trading and wait for while and then invest again in trading.

Agree  that trading is the right option and with 7 BTC capital, thats more than enough. You can start with 1 BTC or two but please, study first the trading. If you are in a hurry and excited without learning the ins and outs of trading, you might lose your currency in a short period of time. As a reminder, Trading is a risky thats why it needs you to be aware and learn.

But c'mon, is it really possible to learn how to trade and make profits? There are so much uderwater movements in trading and you can never predict what will happen in the next minute. I mean you never know when they decide to stop pumping and to start selling.
11327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: August 07, 2016, 08:16:49 AM
hello there,
i was newbie to bitcoin.
already collected some from faucets, service and giveaway.
is gambling worth to try for me?
or it can be double edge for me?

You may try gambling if you want to but don't think you can make money with it. Sane people gamble for fun only, they know that this is not the way to earn money.

You can spend several days collecting coins from faucets and giveaways and with gambling you can lose it in several seconds.
11328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: August 07, 2016, 08:09:42 AM
what about some places that give some away for newbies? Just to get started Smiley
though you will not get anything decent in those if you are talking about the bitcoins faucets, in my opinion you might just put in some small money into bitcoins and then go trading to earn more

Faucet could be a good start. If you are going to trade please learn more from it first. You dont to be blaming so many people because you didnt do it right. Go for some faucets while understanding the trend.

how much BTC do i need to start making some profits with trading?

Depends on the profits you want to make. For example you can buy an altcoin for 200k sats and sell it when the price of it doubles, and you'll have 200k sats profit. If you being in exactly the same situation would buy same altcoins for 0.5 BTC theoretically you'd have 0.5 BTC profit, but I wouldn't recommend to do that because most likely you will lose your 0.5 BTC. Start with smaller amounts and you'll see for yourself what to do next.
11329  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 07, 2016, 07:58:22 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

I'd say "Why wouldn't it?" A lot of people afraid of using Bitcoin exactly because of the high volatility of its price. If the price becomes stable I think more people will be using Bitcoin.
11330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling worth playing? on: August 07, 2016, 07:53:55 AM
Everyday my friend gambles with his money as same with his life and he always gambling throwing away his money for nothing but losing and the worth part of it is he owes me money  Angry Angry

Why do you lend him money for gambling in the first place? Most likely your friend has a gambling addiction and that's a serious problem which ought to be taken care of.
11331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving event: expectation vs. reality on: August 07, 2016, 07:49:53 AM
OP shouldnt be disapponted with what happen to the price of Bitcon after halving.  Price had been increasing this past months.  from somewhere 300 USD to peak 700+ Usd, now it is stable at 630usd - 680 usd  am sure lots have profited from this event.   If you are expecting higher price than this, I think you need to wait another semester.

Even today's price after the Bitfinex hack is still double 12 month ago price. So the halving has some effects.

I agree. The price was around $250 12 months ago and it's $586 right now so it was more than doubled actually. I'm not disappointed by today's price although I do think that it will be over $600 very soon.
11332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: August 05, 2016, 01:50:48 PM
Who in the world controls the bitcoin? I don't understand where it appeared and how it began to be one of the official currencies?
Who controls the course of Bitcoin?

That's the beauty of Bitcoin that you can say that no one controls it and at the same time that everyone controls it.

The course of Bitcoin is a bit another thing and in theory it can be controlled by the big wales who are holding lots of Bitcoins. When they decide to sell the course goes down and when decide to buy the  course goes up.
11333  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 05, 2016, 01:39:26 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas

If you want your income 'small & secure' instead of 'big & risky' the only possible way I can see is holding your coins because Bitcoin has proved to be a good investment by itself.
11334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: August 05, 2016, 01:36:32 PM
~
In simple terms, there are two types of gamblers the responsible and the irresponsible gambler. Regardless of our financial status, even if we are rich, we are subject to a big risk and an irresponsible rich gambler has so much to lose so they should not try gambling at all.

I couldn't agree more. Everyone can be irresponsible sometimes so if you have a lot of money it's better to not gamble at all. It's a very stupid idea that you can double your money with gambling and you should at least try to do it. Trust me you will lose and you will never recover your loss, so you better don't start.
11335  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2016, 01:30:25 PM
So what percentage of your total monetary and financial investments are in Bitcoin?

What do you think is a smart balance to have?

IMO it's pretty smart to invest around 10% of your monthly payment in Bitcoin if you can afford to do so. Unfortunately that's not an option for me because I spend every cent I have before the next payment. But I do have one coin and sometimes it's more than 99% of what I have. )
11336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 05, 2016, 12:36:10 PM
hi guys, i bought 1BTC today and i am wondering to gamble or to invest the 1btc?

if to gamble

best site to gamble with a really nice provably fair..

and if to invest.

best investment program wherein no scam.

thank you for your opinions guys

cheers

Investing is a gambling in a way so it's almost the same. You did the right thing by buying 1 BTC when the price was below $500 (it was close to $450 actually) so you've already made a good investment.
11337  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: August 05, 2016, 12:28:31 PM
Direct opposite of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1438622.0

If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do?

I personally would sell maybe 0.00001 BTC (about $10 if I'm not mistaken).

Haha, I'd sell more actually, but I'm glad to see that there are such commited holders. I know that now it lookks too unlikely, but I really think it's possible. If Bitcoin will be accepted for all payments the price of it will be even higher than $1M I think.
11338  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: August 05, 2016, 10:24:25 AM
I do believe in Bitcoin because it's here for more than 7 years already and it proved to be unkillable many times. I believe that with time more people will be using it and the price of it will rise significantly in the future.
11339  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 04, 2016, 05:53:52 PM
If the bitcoin price drops to $1, I will buy a lot of it. I have been accumulating the bitcoin at the current price.

That's a right decision. I'm not talking about $1 because this will never happen, but to buy below $600 like it is now is a great opportunity and it will not last long. Many people here were thinking several weeks ago "Why didn't I buy below $600?" and now they have a good chance to buy.
11340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Danger when buying/selling BTC in person on: August 04, 2016, 12:40:27 PM
So i was reading an article about someone who got robbed when he tried to buy in person 28000$ of Bitcoin
http://www.coindesk.com/florida-bitcoin-sale-knifepoint-robbery/
Personally i avoid dealings like this cause it is not easy to trust a random stranger.
How about you?do you buy or sell bitcoins in person? If yes have you ever had any bad experiences?

Yeah, I've read the article and it was a disturbing news. I'm glad the attacker was arrested shortly afterwards but I can't understand why he was released later. If he really threatened a guy with a knife and took his money he should stay in jail IMO.

I don't like news like this one because they add to the bad reputation of Bitcoin, but if you use your brains just a little you can see that things like this happen without Bitcoin involved too, so Bitcoin is not the reason of this crime.
