11341  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan .1btc No Collateral on: April 11, 2015, 01:59:06 AM
I can do that! Y only need that u sign a message with your address please.
I don't think he wants to do that. The last time he was taking out a loan he was offered by three people to make the loan if he could sign a message then he accepted the loan from the fourth person who did not ask for a signed message

11343  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-04] CS - BitcoinTalk’s User WoodCollector Hid 5,000 Btc on: April 10, 2015, 11:23:31 PM
lol. You admit that looking for your "treasure" is a waste of time but looking for your alts is entertaining as is trying to win the contest of who can troll harder

I admit that looking for treasure is a waste of time yes. If looking for "my alts" entertains you then i'm glad. By the time you fools are done everyone on this forum is going to be an alt of woodcollector. Sorry an alt of me.
LOL probably.
Those with brains have already figured out that i am only claiming to be wood collector to A: put an end to the debate about this fake treasure, and B: Make you all look like idiots. Both of which it seems i have done.

There are a few key elements that all you idiots seem to miss on a regular basis.

1: If i was wood collector and the treasure was a scam then i forgot to somehow make a profit from this scam.
I honestly have not been following the WC threads as of recently, however I have heard a few things about their content. I cannot speak for the others, however I think you are probably are more trying to troll then trying to scam. Although in theory it could be part of an elaborate scam, I can't say for sure either way.
2: see #1, unless of course i was also ukcrypto in which case i was trying to make a profit on the last two coins i had at a huge markup
I don't think you are ukcrypto - I do think you are close to him though and he potentially was willing to share his profits with you (again assuming you were in fact trying to scam and not just troll).
3: No matter if the treasure was real or fake the only persons who stand to profit from it are the coin owners. The coins of which i have none of.
I believe that a portion of the 10 coins that you were going to sell for the year were unsold as of when your fraud was uncovered. I would not be 100% surprised if the last of your sales after your scam was discovered were faked and were actually sold to yourself. If this was the case then you could either allow your friend to sell at a high premium (and possibly take a portion of the markup), or you could later sell one of the coins that you sold to yourself at a high markup.
4: If the treasure is fake, i'm not sure what the point of it all was. Wood Collector stands no chance of making a penny of profit off it.
Like I said above, I think you were most likely just trolling. I seriously doubt that anyone actually believed that you hid 5,000 BTC someone for your customers to find - well maybe no one except one moron.

So, if you want to carry on with this game. You kids need to explain a few things first otherwise we can all carry on in the mind set that you are just children out for a troll.

1: If the treasure is fake, how does wood collector stand to gain or profit from it?

2: If i am wood collector, how do i myself stand to gain or profit from it?
I think you are more likely to be trolling. Besides my theories above, I would say a more likely explanation is that you wanted to use this as a distraction to pull off a scam somewhere else in the forum without a lot of people asking questions.
3: when you cannot answer #'s 1&2. With wood collector gone and not selling his stuff here any more how does anyone stand to profit from anything involving wood collector?
I think I did a pretty good job answering 1 and 2
4: If any of the accounts you accuse of being wood collector are really his alts, why has bad bear not posted any proof? He has been called out over 100 times on his B.S. "probable alt" crap and never once shown proof? He has to either be a liar and a fraud, or just plain dumb.
He does not give his evidence because it would reveal what methods he uses to determine that you are in fact WC. If he were to do that then you (and other scammers) would be able to more easily avoid detection in the future to pull off scams. BadBear is on my trust list and I trust what he says - I am going to say with a good amount of certainty that he is not wrong. Not only that but you have admitted to him being correct so him giving evidence is a moot point
11344  Other / MultiBit / Re: transaction question-Please can you help with your knowledge on: April 10, 2015, 10:35:39 PM
Thanks for your quick reply. I think I will send BTC to the exchange as they charge 1%. I was hoping you would be able to tell me the fee attached to the transaction. Is there any way I can find out the fee if I send from multibit? Thanks again, for the quick reply. Have a great night.

I dont use MultiBit. But, do they charge 1% as Tx fee ? That's insane !!!
According to multibit, their "HD" client charges 1,000 satoshi on each transaction, plus the tx fee (that goes to the miners). I am not exactly sure how the "client fee" works but I assume that it is something along the lines that multibit will have a third output to send the client fee to.
11345  Other / MultiBit / Re: transaction question-Please can you help with your knowledge on: April 10, 2015, 10:24:59 PM
Yes. You simply need to go to the 'send' tab, then enter the address you want to send to, enter 3.0 in the amount field (assuming you wish to send exactly 3 BTC, click on send and then enter your password (if you have one).

Multibit will automatically calculate the amount of the TX fee that it needs to include in order for the transaction to likely be quickly get confirmed (within ~1-3 blocks) by the network. If you happen to have a lot of very small inputs then there is a possibility that it will calculate that the required TX fee that it forces you to include is larger then the difference between what is unspent in your wallet and the amount you want to spend.

To my knowledge there is no way to turn off the automatic fee, so if you do not want to pay the fee they are trying to get you to pay then you should export your private keys from multibit and import them into a wallet that allows you to set a custom fee
11346  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Senior member account on: April 10, 2015, 10:17:55 PM
I have a question for you how would anyone know if it was a edited post?
A post is edited if there are dotted lines directly under the date of when a post was posted. If you hover your mouse over it then you will see when it was last edited and who last edited it

I asked for a loan, and they let neg trust because they tought i do scam... But i didnt. I have proof.
That may be the case, but we don't accept users with negative trust. It's the first rule of the campaign:

Users with negative trust are not allowed to participate in this campaign

Sorry, but I cannot accept you.
Are you sure he has negative trust? He is showing as neutral to me  Tongue

You people are amusing.......... Pathetic for sure, but still amusing.

I have already said that i am WC and that the treasure is fake and you are all still having a debate about it.

Priceless
lol. You admit that looking for your "treasure" is a waste of time but looking for your alts is entertaining as is trying to win the contest of who can troll harder
11350  Other / Meta / Re: Cross Advertising on: April 10, 2015, 06:48:04 PM
It's usually not allowed to advertise in others threads but if users are just stating another camping has higher rates and/or is better etc then there's probably nothing wrong with that.

Are you referring to this thread/these sorts of posts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1019714.msg11043156#msg11043156
I think he was more likely referring to posts like this, which are unprofessional and are spam. I reported it and a few others like it but I think most are still there.

If this kind of activity is allowed then you will see nothing more then business owners posting in eachothers threads promoting their own business.
11351  Economy / Services / Re: [Pesobang.com] Sig campaign - Win up to 0.025 BTC/week on: April 10, 2015, 06:38:58 PM
As mentioned above your rates are very low. Fixed rate deals tend to pay more on a per post basis (when assuming that exactly the required number of posts are made) then pay per post campaigns.

As h&c mentioned escrow is a must as without it people would not be protected from you running away to get free advertising.
11352  Other / Meta / Re: Add a new sub level topic to Press => "Crypto News Services" on: April 10, 2015, 06:08:36 PM
The news section is technically only for "noteworthy" press/news articles. This standard was much higher before bitcoin became mainstream because it was so rare for the media to report about Bitcoin in the news. Now it is almost a daily occurrence.

I believe that articles about Bitcoin should only be put in the news section on the day they are published. After that they should be in Bitcoin discussion.

Articles about apples, bananas, and anything else unrelated to Bitcoin do not belong in press.
11353  Other / Meta / Re: How to know the account has been banned in the past ? on: April 10, 2015, 06:03:22 PM
Not by looking at the account. Although you could look at the post history to get a general idea ifvthe post history would have warranted a ban.

Other then that you can ask a moderator, although they most likely won't tell you.
11354  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-04] CS - BitcoinTalk’s User WoodCollector Hid 5,000 Btc on: April 10, 2015, 02:27:33 PM
well I would think that they would have at least a small amount of journalistic integrity. The author is going to have a hard time ever being taken seriously after these kinds of articles

 Huh

It's an "advertorial" website. There is no journalistic integrity. The author is not a journalist. The author will never be taken seriously.
http://www.stbmedia.com/coinspeaker/advertise/ shows that the only options to advertise on that site is via banner ads. Their careers section says that candidates need experience in "news writing"

I think they are just made up of a bunch of amateur wannabe journalists who have no idea what they are doing, similar to most of the other people that write news about Bitcoin.

I wouldn't be surprised if WC contacted the author outside of the site to pay her to write the article.
11355  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-04] CS - BitcoinTalk’s User WoodCollector Hid 5,000 Btc on: April 10, 2015, 01:50:25 PM
To the author of this article- you should seriously consider getting into a new line of work.

For what it's worth, the linked site is one of those "pay for an article" type websites, like CoinDesk. The "article" probably didn't cost WC more than 25 bucks.
If that is true then my statement still holds true. If you are going to attach your name to something like what was published then you need to verify what you are writing regardless if he is getting paid for it or not.

If someone needs money they will posts also "crap" if he will receive money, so I am not amazed that the owner of that site posted the article (also for only 25 bucks).

11356  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Lealana Brass LTC and BTC coins on: April 10, 2015, 01:35:35 PM
Thanks man, just let me know. Even one of them would be great if possible.
Sorry, the two 5 LTC coins have been sold. I have a feeling that I have somewhat underpriced the silver....... oh well I still got a great deal on them Smiley

I would definitely not have sold them for less than twice of what you were selling them for Tongue
Well damm. I still made a good amount of money off them so it is still good. I have a good number of silver coins from ANACS coming back later this month so I can charge better/higher prices for them.

What do you think of the pricing of the brass?

Thanks for the heads up.

According to everyone who is a child on this forum

I AM WOODCOLLECTOR

So let me put the issue to bed, The treasure is fake and not worth your time. You can all move on now and stop filling this forum with usless garbage.

Thank you

I think this was pretty obvious lol. I am not sure why anyone would believe your claims that 5,000 btc was hidden somewhere, let alone someone who claims to be a journalist.

To the author of this article- you should seriously consider getting into a new line of work.
11359  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: No longer Selling Bitcointalk.org forum accounts on: April 10, 2015, 12:19:12 PM
@Quickseller,
What's the best price for buying a Member account?
Please reply to this thinking that you are me, I am asking this due to a reason I will let you know later.
it really depends on how quickly you want the account and the quality of posts you need the account to have. If you want a really good account with good posts quickly then you should expect to pay .05 to .07 but if you don't mind some giveaway posts then you might be able to get one for .01 to .03

Testing edit.
11360  Economy / Lending / Re: Special kind of loan (loan + collateral hold by escrow all the time) on: April 10, 2015, 12:15:08 PM
I actualy didnt read the post since op is asking for loans at 0.1% interest in others threads.
Regards
He is offering .1% per day here as well. IMO it is not worth a lenders time to pursue this kind of deal and the risk of the gambling site going under is too high.
