11361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: July 17, 2017, 09:09:09 AM
Do you think ICO is the best way to invest in?
No doubt i guess you can invest in the crowdsale so you can buy the coin in a price or a sale you when the coin is release or release in a exchanges the coin basically double or incease its price in the market so no doubt that it is the best way to invest or to earn a great profit.

I know I sound like a hypocrite since I am also on a campaign for a new ICO, but does anyone else feel that there's too much nonsense coming from posters just trying to encourage people to dump into ICOs? I mean, newbies are asking for help and advice and it's just irresponsible for people to say: yes invest, then release it when it's double the price. Great profit!

People are getting a lot of bad advice in here.
11362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver holds around 300k bitcoins worth $750 Million and wants the fork on: July 17, 2017, 09:00:57 AM
Fork or no fork, if it's true Mr Ver is trying to do this to increase his holdings, then he already has a 20% mountain to climb just to bring back value to 2,500. I understand the reasoning behind such a conspiracy, but I don't understand how anyone would do it when so much is at risk.
11363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Target Coin - World's FIRST And ONLY Bonus Paying Crypto Fund on: July 15, 2017, 02:17:30 PM
Just joined yet another interesting project, and it seems to be a slightly advantageous time to be using ETH to invest, particularly with the ambiguity regarding Bitcoin in the coming weeks. Rather than speculate, I'm just holding on to what I have, diversifying out to alt (including ETH), so here I am. Good luck all!
11364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: List a Coin on Cryptopia ! on: July 15, 2017, 02:10:27 PM
When a coin is delisted here, will we be informed by email? I have a few alts that I don't really keep track of a lot, and in the past I have had some delisted and of course balance gone from some exchanges because I only check every now and then. Any way to mark a coin for auto-email informing when it will be delisted?
11365  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 15, 2017, 09:29:35 AM
This is the shaping reality for some countries, but only if you live in a First World country.
Developing countries like mine and my neighbours see this as a dream, but only to augment current reality. To really want our society to be cashless we have to wait for the old generations to pass, and bring the new one up with new ideas for cash (not happening yet).
And the rest of the world, which is probably 50% of the world, are a long way of even considering this.

Cheesy  Dude,if you DO NOT get escrow for deals on there, you deserve what you get...........  Roll Eyes

Also,DO NOT pay with Bitcoin, refunds are not part of Bitcoins features  Cheesy

Funny that there are people in this forum enjoying someone's misery, especially having a status "Legendary".

It seems to be a common feature for a lot of people here. Newbies = dumb is their philosophy. To reference quote someone's signature, if you run into a lot of idiots on a daily basis, you're the idiot :p.

@OP lessons to be learnt, escrow costs you a bit of money but better to be safe than sorry.
11369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the BOTTOM of Ethereum before August 1 on: July 14, 2017, 09:49:42 AM
Still a lot of ICOs waiting to dump so don't be surprised if the bottom becomes $100. But as OP predicts, it is more likely to be $150. At which point, nobody knows if it will head down or up. When Mr Buterin feels like it, he might do a pump.
11370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit bitcoin mining company on: July 14, 2017, 07:19:32 AM
What is the deal with Genesis mining? Reading through this thread, some forum members swear by it, and there are others that think it is shyte. Can somebody please clarify if it is safe and advisable to invest there. Thanks in advance....

Look around the internet not just for all those people whining or praising: look for proof of earnings. You will find also honest reviews from reputable websites like 99bitcoins. They will show you proof that genesis is legitimate, but NOT profitable.

Most people are praising it to get referral fees.
11371  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit bitcoin mining company on: July 13, 2017, 07:19:46 AM
Try out genesis mining or hash flare. I was in ambiguity before too but now I have read so much about them and they look far better than any other mining companies. Don’t try out any other than this as we don’t have positive trust about other. In this one I will suggest you hash flare from my side as I had invested and paid out two times. My hash rate is pretty low so it takes me around one month to reach the minimal threshold. Hope you will get some positive reply too. :-)

Both of them do have a pretty good reputation in the world of mining. But cloud mining is not a solution for you to make a profit, there are still many ways that can be done. The easiest is to rent a rig, by doing that we can earn a greater income. And if you want a much better income then buying hardware mining is a very appropriate choice.

How can anyone say after research that they have a good reputation in the world of mining? Page 1 of google search on genesis trust/scam shows you a lot of unhappy people. Forum search here shows you ROI after many, many months which won't be reached as your contract will probably expire first. They have poor reputations in this world. Outside, with good marketing and PR, yes they are legitimate.
11372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex vs Cryptomarket on: July 12, 2017, 08:26:48 AM
No need to wonder anymore how people trade crypto signals, just do a google search and the first page will bring you all the major predictions. If you like "old school"  signals, then even people like Goldman Sachs now give their analysis using forex lessons. Check out the forum thread here even.
11373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit by Sept - Buy BTC Now!!! on: July 11, 2017, 06:02:09 AM
It's not really breaking news... since this was all we already expected, right? OK, the date seems to be moving a little behind, but even this delay was to be expected. Anyway, I think this is signs that progress is being achieved. All parties seem to be moving along.
11374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 6.5 K USD. What should i invest in? Pow? Pos? Trading ? on: July 10, 2017, 06:29:13 AM
You can split your funds to investing more type:
1. 20% for holding altcoin potential and old altcoin stable as LTC, XMR, DASH, ETH
2. 20% for new altcoin very potential can invest long-term or short-term as GAME, WAVES, MUSIC, DGB (this coin can waiting new lowest and buy later), LBC, XEM ...
3. 10% if you have "free time" to finding and follow some project ICOs, you can invest
4. 50% use trading everyday, need learning strategy and technical analysic can trading on crypto market, learning keep safe your funds and keep calm to face the storm breakdown, ...

Final training every can helps you have experience to trading long time, good luck!
[/quote]

This is probably the best advice here. Diversify, diversify, the most important lesson for anyone. Invest a little in trading, a little in holding potential alts, and a little in trading. Only, not 50% in trading. I would even keep 20% just as a HOLD for Bitcoin. and 5% to education (buy stuff to learn).
11375  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: July 07, 2017, 02:31:12 PM
I think the offshore business is under attack now, everywhere from Europe even to Indonesia where more than 300 billion hidden tax was recently pardoned. Bitcoin's ledger or blockchain tech can really help with identifying false tx - in reality the fiat version double spends or false chains that should not exist.
11376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help on: July 06, 2017, 10:07:27 PM
1. Poloniex is one of the easiest to sign up with so it attracts a lot of newbies. Also, it is popular with social media crypto Steemit.

2. I am a very small time trader, not using BTC. I have a few altcoins which I traded on small exchanges like nova and yobit.

3. Anonymity. This is crypto, and we all got in because it was anonymous. But now at exchangers, you have to be searched and asked for verification WORSE than banks! Also more local language support. I speak English but I know a lot of people in my countries who don't.
4. If you create an exchange that is different yes. If not, use it for other ventures.
5. Of course, but look at promising altcoins. Even a lot of people made money when they switched to mining ETH from last year after it dropped to $6. They were easily making a lot of cheap ETHs for many months.
6. It is true but all these exchanges need days to process withdrawals so you are gambling with volatility. Unless you find BTC/ALT differences.

Thank you:)

11377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: July 06, 2017, 01:55:37 PM
I just want to update that I checked my counterwallet and there sitting inside were my NVST tokens. I also just found out that they weren't called NVOT for some time now. I never really got any update by email, only trying to read from all the online sources. I hope this can improve, so we are all not confused!

Now waiting like all of you for exchange price. Wish I was able to buy more too, but happy with my first small amount of ICO tokens.
11378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: July 06, 2017, 10:51:58 AM
So after the short climb it looks like EOS is heading back down to ICO price. And the ETHs are all taken out somewhere to be dumped. And recycled to get more EOS. This is an incredibly genius move. Why didn't we think of it earlier?
11379  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bitvest🌟 - Investor Plinko, Slot, Roulette, Bit Spin | 99% Dice Released! on: July 06, 2017, 01:04:04 AM

Congratulations to Veleten for winning our first event, the 100,000,000 roll bounty! Veleten has won 1,777,777 tokens!

Nice one veleten! I was waaaay far away. Don't spend everything on nudes now.
Thank you for all the promo and games up to the hit. Happy 100,000,000 BitVest dice!
11380  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bitvest🌟 - Investor Plinko, Slot, Roulette, Bit Spin | 99% Dice Released! on: July 05, 2017, 03:37:52 PM
Oh that 100M roll looks so good! By the looks of it, it'll hit in about 2 days hopefully, less if everyone increases their betting rate, since I won't be around to try after tomorrow... I hope I have enough to make it... small bankroll but who knows, could get lucky!
Oh don't miss it by thinking it will be reached after 2 days . My guess is within the next 24 hours we will have our winner and the beauty of this contest is you don't need a big bankroll . 293k more bets to go Smiley Good luck all.

It may be much sooner than expected, over the past hour, we've averaged ~6 rolls/sec. If this rate is constant:
100,000,000 - 99,713,509 = 286,491 rolls left
286,491 / 6 = 47,748.5 seconds left
47,748.5 / (60 * 60) = ~13.3 hours left

That's great news! I just have to stay up until morning to do this but no problem, even the raffle tickets are coming in nicely. Good luck everyone and happy 100m rolls Bitvest!
