This is good stuff right here. I only use Terra now too. After seeing some of the post where people are struggling to redeem and read the key, it made people seek better options. The paper wasn't even a decade old. I love this kind of detailed data that can help better the products and make redeeming less of an issue.
You are quite right.....I do not think past coinmakers thought it thru that the paper or ink will cause issues in the long run...ig they thought there would be a long run and if so...who knows how many years. By doing it on these papers with real world test as I am doing right now will put the coinmaker and the customers mind at ease that nothing could possibly happen to the ink or the paper under the hologram! |

Paper and ink having some promised specs is one thing, but seeing these hold up in a real world test is still something else.
Not sure if it fits your setup, but a reference test with normal paper and/or normal ink would be cool, too.

Yes they do look amazing....seems just like the day I immersed them under water. And I had to use a laser printer....I believe thats the only way to print on these papers. I mostly use Terra papers for all my private keys.....and it looks like this is the best way. I mean if they survived water for so many years...they will last a very long time under the hologram protected away from the air and light! |

I only wish I can attend the event...perhaps someday when BTC will moon then I can do it Stacks is only a few blocks from where I live so I have met James in person a few times and have to say he is good people and very approachable to talk to with regards to our hobby of loaded coins. He loved my coins especially the timelock smart contract coins as they were all novel to him. The only request they as is they grade and encapsulate all coins ...unfortunately mine were not graded thru PCGS who as far as I know are the only ones to offer jumbo capsules. Perhaps someday when a grading company can grade my coins I can hand him mine in person and see what the market says about em. |
