1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Cryptocurrency markets are falling down ? on: June 14, 2018, 06:38:39 AM
What is the big deal op? What is so surprising about this situation? This is a very common scenario in this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market which has been occurring regularly for ages if you think about it. The market won't stay bearish forever and I am expecting it to bounce back in August. Funny seeing some people saying that market might bounce back after a couple of years which is highly unlikely.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 06:34:39 AM
Why in the world would you compare Ripple with the king of the crypto world? This is a stupid comparison and completely unnecessary in my opinion. I am not a Ripple hater just because it is associated with banks, but it needs to be compared with coins like Ethereum, Litecoin etc since it is leagues away from Bitcoin in terms of popularity, ranking, features etc. Bitcoin needs to be compared with coins like Ethereum in this instance.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting scammed. on: June 13, 2018, 07:24:29 AM
im a newbie here i really want to get much experience in cryptocurrency and i myself want to learn a lot about it but since im new in this industry everybody warn me to be careful in trading, i really dont know what trading is and how can i get my money stolen from that thing can you guys explain to me?

- Asking about something that you dont know about before investing is the first rule for not getting scammed here.
- If you have no knowledge about something, like ICO, projects, campaigns or if you are in ambiguous situation then always ask first, seek advices on the forum and then make the investment.
-Proper study of the project and trades (about coin) is always advisable and you must be smart enough to point out differences between all of them.
Very nicely put. These points are really helpful and I completely agree. Research and luck are 2 crucial factors to avoid getting scammed through any ICO in my opinion. I tend to do a good bit of research before investing into any ICO or working on a particular bounty campaign which is the reason why I never got scammed until now. The whitepaper and the project manager are the 2 factors which I tend to research primarily.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2018, 07:21:28 AM
What are the reason behind falling Bitcoin and do you think it will be down more!

There are no exact reason why bitcoin price are fallen, maybe the fake news or the people who trying to manipulate the market. We have nothing to do in this dropped, only have to do wait for the recovery. For me it's a normal, because I know the price of bitcoin are volatility and soon it will rising again.

no doubt about the reputation of bitcoin in these circumstances will be back again to climb and normal even more than ever, just need patience and no panic.
Indeed, no one knows exactly about the causes that make bitcoin have a fall. Till now, almost all people think that it’s just because bad news. However, I think that there are so many different factors that taking impact to this falling. We all know that bitcoin is highly volatile, thus this it’s pretty normal when bitcoin goes down. Hence, we are better off keeping our head and staying away panic because when we are in fear, there will have many wrong decisions that make us feel regretful.
Fear is one of the main reasons responsible for these sell-offs which simply leads to more fear, FUD, negativity etc which is something common in this sensitive cryptocurrency market. This is the risk associated with this extremely volatile crypto market which scares off many potential investors, but the volatility will decrease with time which will surely attract more and more investors helping the market grow in the long term.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do now??? on: June 13, 2018, 07:18:44 AM
This is completely up to you. No one can tell you what to do with your money op. You were aware of the risks before joining this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market which is why you cannot blame anyone if you lose money. I don't get the pessimistic attitude exhibited by many people since this is not the first time Bitcoin and majority of the altcoins have fallen in value. The silver lining here is that they have always bounced back no matter what.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters strategy on: June 12, 2018, 02:51:59 PM
Hello bounty hunters, can you share how many bounty campaign you can handle in a Month ? And in what ways you can do it to manage all of those campaign you joined. ?

It all depends on how much you are willing to give time for the bounty campaigns and how much active you are on this forum. If you are active in the bounty campaigns as a full time member then you can easily handle 15 to 20 social media campaigns along with one signature campaign where your weekly income depends on how much engagement and followers you have in social media accounts. If you are experienced enough then you can also handle up to 25 campaigns along with the airdrops. If you are doing part time work then you can handle upto 5 campaigns per month on minimum basis. Positive engagement in your social media accounts will help you to manage all your campaigns in the best way possible.
I agree with your strategy. It is quite easy to handle 15 to 20 social media bounties every month, but I generally don't focus on social media bounties since my strategy is to focus solely on signature bounties. I tend to do a good bit of research before choosing a signature campaign and focus only on that particular campaign for its entire duration and move on to a new one once the current campaign is done. I have friends who tend to work on 10-20 social media bounties every month.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How best can a member increase his rank on: June 12, 2018, 07:47:29 AM
Honestly, it is really hard to rank up account these days.
The merit factor made it difficult. but it's not impossible.
most important thing you need to do earn merit and you must enter helpful posts to earn merit.
I agree. The merit system has made it quite difficult to rank up these days, but it is definitely not impossible. It is quite easy to still become a member in this forum these days, but it gets a lot tougher from there. Fortunately, there are many merit based giveaways and contests which rewards the best quality posters in this forum which goes to show that it is still possible to earn merit regularly albeit at a slow and steady pace.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 best altcoins in 2018 on: June 12, 2018, 07:44:31 AM
According to me, the 3 best altcoins should be classified based on short term and long term investments. The 3 best short term investments are Electroneum, DENT, Cardano while the 3 best long term investments are Litecoin, Stellar, Ripple based on my research. At the moment, the bear market has driven down the values of these coins which is why it is a great time to buy them at low prices and HODL for the future.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin discussion importance! on: June 12, 2018, 07:42:19 AM
Very important for me since I hold a diverse array of altcoins which I have acquired in different ways(Investments, Bounties, Airdrops etc) through this forum. I generally check my portfolio out now and then to check how my coins and tokens are performing and check the altcoin discussion thread for any updates regarding my coins and tokens. I tend to give more importance to altcoin discussion over Bitcoin discussion these days.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency has theability to remove poverty. on: June 11, 2018, 12:46:46 PM
I agree with you op. It is completely possible for cryptocurrencies to eliminate poverty, but the biggest barrier to this happening is the governments themselves since majority of the world governments oppose Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market due to different reasons. Majority of the world governments need to somehow soften their stance on crypto and focus on the advantages of cryptocurrencies rather than focusing on its disadvantages.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now, what's going on? on: June 11, 2018, 08:04:13 AM
What is so surprising about this op? Did you never see a bear market before? Bitcoin dropped all the way to $6k recently and bounced back close to $10k and is dropping again now. This goes to show how extremely volatile this market is. You were aware of the risks before you invested into this market. The current bear market is making people forget the fact that Bitcoin and the entire market has still grown plenty over the last couple of years.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: now bear market again. wait for november on: June 11, 2018, 08:01:53 AM
Bear markets come and go which is the nature of this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market and is quite common. No one can accurately speculate as to when the next bull market will start. The market could start rallying like crazy tomorrow itself which goes to show how volatile this market truly is. I will be HODLING my coins and tokens for the long term period which is why I am not worried about the current bear market.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO is going to be at the focus point. on: June 11, 2018, 07:59:44 AM
NEO is one of my favorite cryptocurrencies, I have been following this innovative project for a long time, and I am pleased to see that its team is developing it in the best way. The quality of NEO is excellent, and I think it has enormous growth margins for the future. At the current price in my opinion is to be purchased, because already in the coming months, if there is a good recovery in the market its value will grow much
I partially agree with you. NEO is indeed being actively developed by the passionate development team behind it on a regular basis based on my research, but I don't think it will grow in a huge way in the future. NEO will slowly and steadily rise in value over time and a rally by Bitcoin will help it grow ever further at some point in the future. Comparatively, I strongly believe that Ethereum will grow tremendously over time.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: June 10, 2018, 07:03:52 AM
Best tip is to secure your accounts and wallets through 2fa which has helped me in many ways ever since I joined this vast cryptocurrency world. The fact of the matter is that many hackers and scammers can easily access your wallets if they don't have advanced security in place which is why I recommend using hardware wallets or paper wallets which are way more secure than online wallets.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: June 10, 2018, 07:01:47 AM
Where did it came from? Airdrop? Bounty? If it come from your airdrop activtity then it has a high possibility that your token will turn to be a scam, because nowadays lots of airdrops just collect your information and will drop you a shittoken or a "display only" token in your wallet.

If it is a product of bounty, try to ask them directly, if they always say the same thing over and over again, then moved on mate.try not to look in your wallet lol
Good point. Airdrop coins and tokens tend to end up as bags majority of the time due to the reasons you stated above which is why I don't pay too much attention to the coins and tokens I acquire from airdrops. On the other hand, the coins or tokens acquired from bounties are a different matter since they could potentially have some value even after 4-5 months and sometimes even more.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you invest in Altcoin? on: June 10, 2018, 06:59:11 AM
Investing into altcoins is just as risky as investing into Bitcoin due to the high risk involved with this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market. If you are willing to risk your hard earned money, I would suggest diversifying your funds between low risk altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, NEO and Ripple and high risk altcoins like DENT, IOST etc which could help you possibly earn bigger profits in the long run.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are investors looking for in an ICO? on: June 09, 2018, 07:07:26 AM
    Hello Everybody,

Could you please share, if familiar, what are investors usually looking for in an ICO?

I am part of a team managing ICO (soon it will be announced) and it would be useful to know what the investors are considering when investing in an ICO?

    Thanks in advance.

There are lots of factors to be considered for a good ICO.
    • Business Plan - It's all about the project aims, goals and how the team will run the business
    • Blockchain, Token Utility and Crowdsale Structure- Which blockchain they are running the business. How they run crowdsales  before he the launched.
    • Team Behind - it's important to know if the people behind the project can keep the business going after the launch. There should be a person/s on the team that knows and expert on the business.
    • ICO Listing Sites and- it's the effort of the project to be listed on a listing sites and how the people will support it to make it on list.
    • Github repository (Code)- it's not that important because not most of the investors can understand it.

So you should provide those details to investors to persuade them to invest on you ICO.

    [/list]
Very useful details. All the factors that you mentioned are important in this scenario, but are forgetting one of the most important factors which is the whitepaper. This is something that many people tend to ignore, but is critical to the success of an ICO. The whitepaper needs to be thoroughly researched and analyzed before looking at other factors. Roadmap and other details like social media interactions by the development team also matter in this aspect.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: June 09, 2018, 07:01:44 AM
Would never trust something like this. Something which promises guaranteed returns is most likely a scam majority of the time which is why I tend to avoid such services and I advise others to do the same if you wish to protect your hard earned money. Investing into this market is better than something like this since there is a far higher chance to make money through research and luck in this volatile market while sleeping.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge for Newbie on: June 08, 2018, 06:22:09 AM
I'd say some basic understanding would be quite important.

There are many sites that offer information, and also these forums offer a wealth of information.

You may want to look into things like how to set up 2FA, how to apply to exchanges, how to convert fiat into your first crypto (i.e. ETH or BTC), how to buy other currencies.

And followed by project research, project history, project roadmap, team, future, potential etc.

You may make mistakes, make sure that they aren't too costly Smiley.
Great tips. The first tip that I usually tend to advise is research this forum itself thoroughly since this forum contains a plethora of cryptocurrency related knowledge which can set you on your way into the crypto world if you put in the effort. This was how I initially learned about Bitcoin, altcoins, trading, airdrops, bounties etc and how it is possible to earn money in an effective and efficient manner. Research this forum people.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the relationship between Altcoins and bitcoin ? on: June 08, 2018, 06:19:26 AM
Bitcoin and altcoins are interconnected in a big way and anyone who says otherwise is simply fooling themselves. Bitcoin and altcoin values are usually directly proportional to each other ie. If Bitcoin value rises, altcoin value rises and vica versa. Reverse also happens sometimes, but is uncommon. This is why everyone gets excited for a bull run or are left disappointed due to a bear market since Bitcoin and altcoin values are connected.
